Oh, I remember when I used Neobux PTC. Without referrals you can get something like $0.02/day, so it's huge waste of time.
Yeah, people who earn less than $1 probably don't have smartphone and internet connection. But even if you live in very poor country, I think it's not worth to click faucets and PTC all day long, unless you have thousands of referrals. It's waste of time for minimal reward. If you have device with internet connection, there is so many better ways how can make money online.

Haha, you tested Neobux from the 21st century? Cheesy

Back then they used to pay 1 cent per ad, up to 2 cents. But their Premium membership was pretty steep at 75 bucks a year and your luck depended on the referrals because rotating them slowly added up to the expenses.
Well, it was 5-6 years wgo, so I don't remember exactly. IIRC, there was about 20 ads per day available, each worth $0.002 if I'm not mistaken.
It was possible to rent referrals, but they were bots who didn't clicked many ads that you wouldn't reach ROI.
5022  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Intro to campaign managing on: April 12, 2020, 09:54:19 PM
I don't want to discourage you, but I'm not sure about your perspectives in campaign management. Now there is simply way more signature campaign managersvthan available campaigns. Most campaign mangers, even experienced ones are struggling to get hired. Most of campaigns now are managed by just 2 most popular managers. For new manager without experience it's extremely difficult to get a job.
Offcourse, there is altcoin blunties, but I think it's not worth to look at this area. There is just too many scams, so risks both for manager and participants is too big.
There is few new managers who started in 2019 and got hired by few companies, but they'we been around on forum for fewvyears already. So, you may try your luck when it will be right time. You won't loose nothing by just trying Wink.
5023  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos, may be a custom title please. on: April 12, 2020, 09:35:17 PM
Either it will be custom title or badge, I don't see any reasons why it would be bad idea. It's always sad to hear about Bitcointalk member passing away, but that's a life and we can't do anything about it. Members who left their mark in Bitcointalk history, like Bruno or Zepher should be honoured.

I get the idea. But What I'm saying is even freerolling is a better way of getting that very small amount of faucet for minimal work. PTC and captcha is time-consuming, and then you gotta deal with all that spam AND expose yourself to malware.

Everyone has a skill. Instead of spending hours a day collecting faucets, and possibly earning what, $1? Let's say you count in all the electricity costs, maybe you get $1 a day. I would rather go out there and get a job that pays me $1 an hour. I know there are people in the world who still earn below $1 a day but these guys don't have a device to connect to the internet for faucets.

If you go, do an honest job that teaches you new skills and experience, you could buy far more bitcoin than you would spending an entire day at faucets and PTC.

My last deleted post was quite long time ago - it was on 2nd September 2019. And there probably was even 1 year period without deleted posts. I don't have many posts deleted - I just found 8 notifications about deleted posts and few of them come from self-moderated topics.

So sad to hear these news. Bitcointalk community will never forget you and your legacy always will be there.
5027  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus: International Updates on: April 10, 2020, 10:11:32 PM
All you can do is spot where is spreading faster, and where the recoveries % is higher to guestimate better or worse results. There are various sites giving pretty graphics and animations from this data.

Yes there is one country that halted the virus since January: North Korea. But who is going to verify that? They closed their (very tight) borders around the time the Wuhan outbreak from the marketplace got widely known.

Its clear that those countries that didn't adopt strict isolation have the most cases and deaths.
There is more countries than just North Korea without confirmed cases. It's Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Lesotho, Comoros and some islands in Oceania.
I doubt that information about North Korea is real. Despite imposing strict restrictions early, it's very likely that virus csme from China. It's their main trading partner and they have long border with it. And I doubt that they are even testing people. I read that 180 soldiers died in March, but obviously there is no information about COVID-19.
In Turkmenistan situation is really weird. Word coronavirus is officially banned in this country and you can be even sent to jail for wearing face mask in public. So, I doubt that we can trust that there is zero cases in this country.
While islands in Oceania is safer place. Population is small, it's isolated and not many people came here from other countries.
5028  Other / Politics & Society / Re: what have we learned from handling epidemics on: April 09, 2020, 08:21:17 PM
It's obvious that we aren't going to live as we used to live before pandemy anytime soon. In most countries peak wasn't reached and number of new cases is still huge and it's dropping insignificantly. So, yeah, it's too early to talk about getting back to normal life. And even when number of new cases will become minimal and controlled, removing all quarantine restrictions would be stupid. Everything should be done step by step. Opening shops, restaurants, parks, public transport, factories and all other public places should be made, because current situation is disaster for economy. But only when it will be safe to do it. And there should be all precautions - distance between people, masks, minimal number of people allowed to enter at once and etc.
Yeah, there is predictions that 80%-90% of population are yet to get virus. Because it will not simply disappear without people's immunity from it or vaccine. And new, much bigger wave may happen in autumn. As you said, it's very important to prepare well for it. I think it will be most important to protect people who are most vulnerable - elderly people, people with serious health problems and etc.
5029  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for partnership on: April 09, 2020, 07:57:43 PM
Drop me a line. Don't waste my time.
@condoras is right, you should give more details about your project. There isn't enough information about project and when people will contact you, it's very likely that it will be waste of your and other people time.
Good luck in finding partner and development of blog.
5030  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger's newest 20-25% Discount on: April 09, 2020, 07:49:27 PM
Later today they announced partnership with Crypto.com, where you can purchase Ledger wallet using Crypto.com coin and get 10% cashback. But I'm not really sure that's same thing as they advertised in previous tweet. I expected for something bigger than this. Maybe adding some important cryptocurrencies, instead of useless tokens or partnership with big exchange like Binance.

Personally I'd rather have preferred to see them build a stronger device (or a new version of S & X) than something made of shitty plastic and a poor quality circuit board. And fixing the buggy Ledger Live
I would love this. I already posted about it 1 or 2 years ago, rugged waterproof version of Ledger would be very needed thing. Current devices looks very vulnerable and easy to break. I always afraid thst I may accidentally drop my wallet on the floor and break it.
5031  Economy / Reputation / Re: Cleobet: Another betb2b (1xbet/1xbit) clone - Flag to be supported on: April 09, 2020, 07:19:41 PM
So, @Cleobet, where are you? Did you already gave up after failed attempts to defend your service. Wouldn't be durprised if they are working on a new project which will appear on Bitcointalk soon...
Lauda is a scammer and worker for sure, and contolled by efialtis.
efialtis is controlling other accounts as well. When you are in discussion with him, suddenly 7-8 other accounts are coming in, defending this troll (or it is him or his team).
Damn, @efialtis, you're really powerful here. You're in Bitcointalk for less than a year, but you already control Lauda's account. Tell us secret how you did this? Cheesy
5032  Other / Politics & Society / Re: what have we learned from handling epidemics on: April 08, 2020, 08:30:04 PM
Well, you have nailed main aspects. Even most powerful countries - China, USA, whole EU, UK, wasn't ready for this pandemy. Not even talk about poor developping countries. Not many accepted this virus seriously. It was difficult to expect such thing and that virus will spread so fast globally. Most countries reacted too late. These which reacted way too late, now have worst outcomes.
One point that I want to add - very big % of infected people are doctors. So, it's obvious that they didn't had enough protection. And worst part that they infected other people who were in hospital. So, in many places hospitals were place were virus spread...
And now I'm wondering for how long governments are going to keep quarantine. Because virus will not simply disappear one day. It's impossible to test all people and it's very likely that virus will continue to spread for very long time. Especially because some people have it without any symptoms. Offcourse, lifes of people is important, but governments can't afford keeping quarantine for half year let's say, because whole economy will be killed.
It's interesting how Sweden handling this situation. They have made some restrictions, but there is no complete quarantine in the country, and people still living pretty much normal life. I read that Norway are planning to open schools and universities after easter too.

Bump for newbies  Wink
I think you have to update OP before bumping it, because now I see "bitcointalk.org image proxy" error in place of images. Visuals is important part of your guide.
5034  Economy / Reputation / Re: Lauda's null gender on: April 08, 2020, 07:50:11 PM
IIRC, Lauda once said to use "they", so I think we have to repect their request. Though, I may be wrong and confused something, because it was long time ago.
Speaking about other cases, when gender of user isn't specified or I don't know it, I usually use word "he". There is no secret that majority of this forum users is males.
5035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Iker Casillas When this Nightmare Ends, We will play a Classic Vintage on: April 08, 2020, 07:21:59 PM
Despite that I'm Barcelona fan, Casillas, together with Raul always been my most respected Real Madrid players. He is amazing  goalkeeper and great personality.
Such vintage Clasico sound like a great. It would bring us great memories about amazing El Clasico matches that we had in previous years with all legends of Barca and Real Madrid. Charity is also very important and needed in these times and such game would let us to forget about all problems for 2 hours. Now we only have to hope that this nightmare will end soon...
And sad that Ronaldinho probably won't be able to play in this game.

I’ll second that as I remember very well that even when Mourinho treated him badly he didn’t do any drama, simply turned up for training and he quietly left Real Madrid after all those glorious years.
He also had serious health problems when he played for Porto, which forced him to retire from football earlier than he planned...

Yesterday and accidentally clicked ad and was redirected to this website, which looks same like Freebitco.in and they claim that they are using script ''from Freebitco.in adminn''.

I don't know is they are legit or no, but it doesn't looks good. I think many people may think that this website is officially affiliated with Freebitco.in.
5037  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC got stolen. Once again! :/ on: April 07, 2020, 07:53:04 PM
I won't be smartass who will tell what a stupid mistake that you did. I just sorry for your loss. 0.008 BTC isn't that much, but it still sucks to lose money. It's almost $60 and for such money you can get Ledger Nano S hardware wallet, which would had protected your crypto from this and other scam attempts.
And it's never a good idea to download cracked programs, especially on PC where you keep crypto and login to your bank account. Offcourse, paid versions may be expensive, but you always can find free alternatives.
5038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 on: April 07, 2020, 07:28:25 PM
BTW, what will happen if it will be impossible to held elections on planned date due to Coronavirus pandemy? I haven't read US Constitution, so it would be interesting what would happen in such situation. As I remember, online voting isn't allowed in US. Would that mean that Trump would remain to be President until new elections will be held later - for longer period than 4 years.
5039  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto over health on: April 07, 2020, 07:18:14 PM
It's not mainly about surviving during quarantine so people spend more money to buy foods. It's maybe because of the lacks of foods providing. In real life, am a merchant selling foods elements spices. I can conclude how i have a lot of clients asking almost for everything when i have few products to sell because i can't reach product's providers due to crisis lock down.
People would spent any value to store essential elements to survive, especially those not infected yet by the virus.
So, it seems that situation is different in other locations. At least here in Europe, including my country, there is no issues in food supply, shops are full like always. Only first few days before start of quarantine it was difficult to find some products, because people were buying it crazy. But even in most affected countries like China Italy, Spain, food supply haven't stopped and people still can find everything what they want every day. Though it's advised to go to shops as rare as possible.
And I noticed that so many elderly people go to shops almost every day without urgent need, despite that they are in risk group. Is it really worth risk to get a newspaper and loaf of bread?
