Webshop seems broken:

Sorry, it seems that there are no available shipping methods for your location (XYZ). If you require assistance or wish to make alternate arrangements please contact us.

I tried several locations and none worked.

Will a PSU Tester like this one

http://www.ebay.com/itm/PC-20-24-Pin-PSU-ATX-SATA-HD-Power-Supply-Tester-/320615128503

do the trick and power on the miner?

5023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: September 22, 2013, 01:23:58 PM
We still on track for shipping in Sept right?

no

Sorry, says who? Are you an insider or something? All we've heard is they are on track, but it's tight. Plasmoske the above two are FUD spreaders, not anyone with any knowledge. I don't know if they will make the 30th for delivery, neither does anyone else, but KnC themselves may, although it looks as they are currently at the mercy of the packaging co. and their delivery. I was playing devils advocate above with regards to midnight 1/10. Wink

relax

No merged-mining, no transaction payouts.
5027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: September 19, 2013, 04:22:08 PM
[funny pic]

I dont think anyone sane questioned there would be chips, not after reading the press release by orsoc.

The last months this thread was FULL of trolls questioning that there will be chips. Sane or not it doesnt matter cause we all have seen it happen.

And even now they could state that its all a photoshop fake.

You see an idiot stays an idiot regardless what happens.
5028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: September 19, 2013, 04:07:43 PM

Bitminter is merge-mining Namecoins + pay Transactions.

So why not Bitminter?
5029  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: September 18, 2013, 10:32:29 PM

So much LOL.

Soviel mal dazu. Sorry for Offtopic.
5030  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: September 17, 2013, 01:51:57 AM

LOL! What news should they broadcast? They did the tape-out and now all we and them can do is wait. Thats it.

Those preorder-threads are really a pain in the a.., every two seconds somebody is asking for new news and updates and assurance that everything is on track.

I had high hopes that Knc wouldn't not over promise and under deliver, but if they don't ship all September orders in September they really aren't much different than all the other ASIC hardware manufacturers, which is kind of sad.

hmmm...thats kinda bullshit to me. lets say say deliver at 5th october instead of 30th september. ok, everybody is dissapointed big time and we are flaming and shouting all day long. BUT to state that KNC would then be the same as lets say BFL or Avalon with their delays ranging from several months to over a year is just a little less than BIG bullshit.

I don't have a KncMiner pre-order, but may order from them in the future if they do what they say and say what they do. Simply stating that everything is fine and on time when they have to ship hundreds of orders to ship in two weeks and haven't even demonstrated a working chip is bullshit, but I'm sure you're looking at this situation through rose colored glasses.

All they need to do is be honest, give updates, under promise, and over deliver. Being silent now and acting like everything is fine if they know they will be late (and they have to know by now) is simply unacceptable IMHO...

it may or may not be acceptable and (as i said in this thread already) they may not be able to ship in september, yes, but to argue that this makes them the same as avalon or bfl is still bullshit. and you know its bullshit.

How do you figure?  If they already know they're going to be late and they don't say so, they are untrustworthy.

Lets assume you are right and we call them "untrustworthy" cause they are late and wont deliver in september, OK? And that makes them the same as BFL which were late over a fuckn year? Are you nuts?

All that matters to me is their trustworthiness at this point.  Whether they're a day or a month or a year late is impossible for us to know right now.  But their trustworthiness is the biggest and best indicator.

if you want to post about trustworthiness feel free and go ahead. maybe you didnt notice that you quoted my reply to kendog from a discussion about knc being the same as "all the other asic companies" that screwed the community.

Cheesy

Und von wem hast du davon gehört?  Grin

Irgendwie muss man ja erstmal davon erfahren. Freunde, Medien, Netz, etc.

Is there a name for 0.01 BTC?

It obv should have a name cause everyday transactions wont be measured in BTC but in 0.01 BTC

I spoke to kncminer yesterday. The chips are in the final stages of production in taiwan. soon as they are ready they will be flown over in the next couple of weeks ready for production end of September. This month cannot go fast enough for me. ..

To be honest that doesnt sound like september delivery to me.
