~snip~ Will we see days with Gas price is about 21 Gwei in next few weeks? I don't know but now you can enjoy one of good gas price back in later weeks.
Last time I tried to move my tokenin frokdelta last week, the gas price hit 15 $ im use metamask. It was busy when it came to swaps in the defi protocol. That's a very expensive price. Lucky, My Eth balance is only a litle and I chose the lowest price and I just checked the success after a few days pending. Will this last forever? It would be sad if it continued. Depends on the network load really, past few days are somewhat decent usually it was 100+ gwei plus don't go with wallets recommended gas price, it will be faster but will burn a whole in your pocket. Even if I go with lowest I get trxn confirmed within an half hour, unless it's really urgent I don't mind it.

Kinda same thing happened to me, there was a guy in telegram group was buying ether address, I said, 'are you still buying if I have claimed the uni', he never replied. I wouldn't call this scam tho

That is why it is recommended, use Desktop devices to access your bank account online and Desktop wallets to store your crypto asset.
I doubt desktop is any better than android.

I use mobile to store and access crypto related things. I just find it convenient.
I have always liked using vanilla android but my mind is kind of getting attracted towards recently launched poco x3 as it is giving great specs for the price.
The only thing I am confused with is, it has custom android (MiUI)I am aware that it offers great customization but bit worried on security part.
Your thoughts?

Do we need a new section called 'security' or smth? Cause I don't know every new malware, about phishing mails, phishing apps gets posted in 'Beginners and guide' section, I personally don't find it posted there being relevant.
What is your opinion on this?

Scammers impersonate legit persons/projects all the time, it's just something you have to accept it. The most they can do is spread awareness, and if people still fall for it, then it's no one's fault but themselves.
Also, always use contract address (find on official website) don't believe in directly added tokens or portfolio trackers.
The problem is that a name like "GOLD" cannot be copyrighted, making it just easier for others to make use of your efforts in marketing. Some can even be legit projects, although I expect that indeed most are scam. While in wallet checking/ensuring contract address is correct is a must, I think that most exchanges don't show it and that can cause problems (people buying the wrong token). Well, you can't expect to be spoonfed every detail. One can go to the coinmarketcap and check on which exchanges it's listed. if you are unsure you can always ask exchange support (most have support on telegram where you can get instant reply to query), Digital gold also have live support on website.

Great point! It happened only last 2 or 3 months and you should know Digital Gold token is the first GOLD token is backed by gold. The other tokens with name as GOLD are born later than this one. Thats correct but I believe the Digital Gold storage team still have to do something because it may somehow affect their project in the future when the project gain huge traffic newbies may misunderstand the imitate project for Gold token. Besides, this is an act of using the influence of this project to gain crypto investors attention. The team must not silent about this. Scammers impersonate legit persons/projects all the time, it's just something you have to accept it. It's not possible and not sustainable to the wallet service because the transaction fees go to the miners in the network and not the wallet especially if it's a non custodial wallet so if you suggest that they make transactions completely free that means they will have to foot the bill in order to pay the miners to get your transaction confirmed/included in the block.
That's true but many wallet do airdrop/bounties to promote their wallet, the same funds could be used for this instead.

I think you should ditch your friend.

Uniswap fees are insane right now (less insane than a week ago but still insane). So if any new wallet give rebate on fees paid or make transactions completely free, you will automatically acquire users. I just wanted to share it, sorry if it's lame

I have never used the uniswap exchange and the criteria to claim those token clearly stated that you should have done transaction on it before 1st of September. So I assumed I do not qualify. Anyways those who have claimed it are now very happy.
You will not believe in the gas fee in that exchange. My friend told me that the gas fee is almost $30 per transaction, which increases if the price increases. I don't know if I am qualified or not because I don't use it for trade on that exchange, but I have an account. I read on a telegram channel, some people can buy that token directly from other markets, but I don't search for more. To check if you qualified or not you don't need to pay gas fee, just click on 'claim uni' and enter your address. It will show if you have claimable tokens or not. I have used Uniswap in the past, got my tokens and sold them for 2.5; cause such Tokens usually dump and a bird in hand is worth two in bush... Have burned my hands in IDEX similarly But then it went to 8.5$ Same logic I applied lmao

It's premium and it depends on supply/demand within particular country. For example, when India's central bank announced ban on dealing with cryptos there was huge sell pressure and cryptos were trading at far below their usd price.

I really want to invest in some projects but my God it's expensive, you want to put $100 while pay $40 just for fees (looking at you, uniswap).

I always tell people who are looking to earn anything guaranteed they should do tasks in services section rather than in bounty section which nothing less that pile of garbage.
|
|
|
I have been blessed enough to find campaigns that paid even tho things didn't go as they expected and those who listen to bounty hunters.
The way project treats their bounty hunters can say a lot about project itself. Watch out their conversations.
"The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good."
Might sound cliché but it's true.

You seem to be completely forgetting the idea of hardware wallets there is no centralized company and you don't have to rely on such 'company' for your faulty device either. As long as you have seed words the coins are yours, there is no one else.
But sure if exchange has insurance for user funds then go ahead put there.

I figure your telegram bot gave you the recognition you deserve, if you do something which is helpful to the forum you will be recognized (and receive merits).
