Shit so i got ripped by some phishing shit that somehow got first result on google, nice..
Yes you got scammed, and you should never blindly trust google search results, always try to verify if website is legit than bookmark them, and add extension uBlock origin to hide scam ads. I just searched for term chipmixer is multiple search engines and only DuckDuckGo and Yendex game me chipmixer.com as first result, but there is still la lot of fake results below. One more thing you can do is to always check domain date registration, scam XYZ website was registered last month: Domain Name: CHIPMIXER.XYZ Registry Domain ID: D280968252-CNIC Registrar WHOIS Server: whois.iisp.com Registrar URL: http://nicenic.net/ Updated Date: 2022-03-09T10:11:14.0Z Creation Date: 2022-03-09T05:44:08.0Z Registry Expiry Date: 2023-03-09T23:59:59.0Z Registrar: NICENIC INTERNATIONAL GROUP CO., LIMITED

I just received new email from Trezor claiming this will be the last one coming via mailchimp. According to this email, information stolen from this attack was email address and IP address used for newsletter signing up. Anything received in future should be considered as phishing attack or attempts to scam you, so I would suggest blocking everything coming from this email or start using alternative address. Trezor also released more details on their blog page with more information and answering on some questions asked by their customers: https://blog.trezor.io/details-of-the-mailchimp-data-breach-a06872caa1fdFull content of received email: Details of the Mailchimp data breach
This email contains details of a data breach which compromised our mailing provider between February and April 2, 2022.
The attack saw Mailchimp employees being phished for privileged access to customer accounts, resulting in the theft of email addresses and in some cases names of subscribers and other data.
Below you will find specific data belonging to you which was stolen in the attack. Data stolen in the attack
- Your email - Your IP address
Please use this information to protect yourself and be wary of any incoming mail, as the targeted data is being used to send phishing emails to your inbox. Avoid clicking on any links in emails, and never ever enter your seed into a computer without your Trezor device telling you to do so.
This is the latest information we have, following a week of investigation and reluctant cooperation from Mailchimp's senior security staff. You will find a timeline of events on Trezor blog, but we will not be providing any links here so this message does not get confused for a phishing attempt.
You will not receive any more emails from Trezor via Mailchimp. Given the broad scope of the attack, it is important that you remain on alert for phishing attacks coming from other sources, as hundreds of other brands and projects which have not yet been disclosed were also targeted.
For inquiries, please contact our security team at security@satoshilabs.com.

What I meant to say was that I am not recommending Casa (Block is completely out of the picture anyway), but it seems much better than Block if you really want to give a third-party one of your keys for the added benefit of helping you restore your wallet in case you mess up. Since Casa seems to be just selling services and encourages & helps people use actual hardware wallets.
I know you said that about Casa and I would agree with you on that, but I was actually referring to upcoming Block hardware wallet. More things I discover about that device, less I like it, and it's going to be hard to change my opinion about that, unless they make total remake from start. However, I would like to test this device or read some review before making my final conclusions

Found this on another forum. This individual wanted to capitalize on the dip and in my opinion, he/she did the right thing. The purchase of Bitcoin was made on the 12th of this month you can see the buying price but check the fee paid for making this purchase. $73 is a big amount and I think the purchase was made using the Coinbase exchange app. Anyone can avoid such fees by using a DEX. In case anyone is interested in buying Bitcoin through a DEX then they can visit Bisq or hodlhodl to avoid huge fees.
This is not always the case especially if you are buying or selling smaller amount of Bitcoin on Bisq. You also need to make BTC deposit before making a trade in Bisq, and depending on payment methods on Bisq or p2p exchanges it can be even higher fees than on centralized exchanges. Just to make it clear, trading fees are not high in Bisq (combined BTC trading fee rate is around 1%) but someone could set price for fiat trading pair that is different from average you can find on other exchanges.

No offense to her as a person, and she is good speaker, but everything she says just confirms what we said above. There will be no seed phrases, and there will no privacy. NVK makes an important point that you won't be able to just take your seed phrase and put it in to another wallet if you need to, if something goes wrong, if the company disappears, etc. Maybe they should consider renaming their hardware wallet from Block to BlackBox, but it reminds me on the model Blockstream is using for their Jade hardware wallet, that is also using server instead of secure element. This probably means that Block hardware wallet won't have any secure element, that is the reason why they borrowed this idea from Blockstream. I am not sure have exactlty they plan to sell this crap to millions of customers like they planned, but when I think again it's not that hard when you know they are mostly dealing with brainwashed masses. Although I will concede that the prototypes look sexy as hell
We probably have different definitions or meaning for word sexy, because this looks like shit or those cheap fake gemstones you can find on ebay. It also reminds me on something I would use to put my glass off juice or bottle of beer on... Honestly, I wouldn't advocate for any such product and prefer to teach self-custody, but if someone really needs it, from what I've heard, Casa sounds like a way better option. I will never recommend anyone to buy their hardware wallet if they make it like this, even if they put open source sticker on it and give it away for ''free''.

What about Mycelium? I will try to select from Electrum mycelium and bisq. what here suggested and searched them looks fine and more secure.
You should test any wallet yourself but Bisq is decentralized exchange, not a wallet, so you can't really compare it with Electrum or Mycelium wallet. I don't really like Mycelium because they added bunch of advertisement, and Electrum has clean interface with only supporting Bitcoin. If you need wallet only for storing Bitcoin than I think you should go for Electrum.

I sent an email but it has been over 24 hours and I have not heard anything back from you, will this be solved or are you guys scamming?
Are you sure you used official Chipmixer website or their v3 tor onion version? I have seen people getting scammed before by using phishing websites especially using clearnet website, or by searching chipmixer website in google.

It should be mandatory to give (at least) three addresses upon wallet creation. Either from relatives or with a random option of a list/pool that maybe gets updated or selected at random, and triggered via dead man's switch. I don't know if you ever wondered what would happen to all your email addresses and online accounts if you die without leaving your backup passwords to your family members or lawyer. It's similar thing with Bitcoin and private keys or seed words, and I don't think we need to have bitcoin-babysitters for that. Even if you had bunch of gold plates hidden in undisclosed secret location and you never tell anyone about that, it is lost for your family forever when you die. Why lose coins when you could recycle them? It's all code anyway, isn't that the whole purpose of automation and self-governance?
It's your own responsibility and there is no automation in Bitcoin. If you want to leave hidden treasure to your family you live them map with instructions how to find it, same thing applies for bitcoin.

BlueWallet says: "Unsupported lnurl". Phoenix Wallet can't scan the QR-code. Copying it manually shows "legend.lnbits.com returned an error". Muun Wallet says: "Contacting legend.lnbits.com...", followed by "Something went wrong". That's not the best promotion for LN Thanks for testing this for us LoyceV, it's obviously not related with wallet that is used for receiving coins. They are probably out of funds or they stopped sending sats due to abuse, but if that is the case they should at least add some notification information on their website or disable form submission.

Any ideas on how to fix it? Thank you!
What operation system you are using for full node, Linux, Mac or wiNd0ws? This is not the first time I see something like this and some files probably got corrupted when power went off suddenly. Try restarting everything manually and try to reindex the blocks again, if that doesn't work you may need to download blockchain all over again. Best protection against this would be getting some UPS or running your node on laptop with battery as backup.

Ledger Nano S Plus shifted screen! OMG it looks like new Ledger nono S circus finally arrived in town I was reading their reddit page and I didn't saw anything similar reported, but I know many other issues with screen on their older models S and X. What I would do is write their support and ask for help or refund, because opening device at this stage would probably void your warranty. It does appear sometimes like this. Had anyone experienced similar issue? What is most funny (strange) that you can not see it all the time one day works fine - and another day like this. I didn't order nono S plus device and I don't know anyone else from forum who owns it and who has similar problem like you. Try writing a post on their reddit (if you didn't do it already) to get more attention from co-founds aka reddit moderators. Do you think that I can simply open it and try to repair it myself???
Like I said before, opening device yourself would probably ruin your warranty, and you don't even know how to repair this issue. This is just one more proof how bad ledger manufacturing process is and how they rushed production of their new device model.

Which centralized mixer are you using? Can you enable Tor to access the mixer? You can use Chipmixer with Tor browser without any issues, just make sure you use official website and don't search it on internet yourself because there are a lot of scam fake onion websites. I am not sure if any other mixing websites are working Tor, and I wouldn't experiment when you have something that was tested and proven to work. Do your own research and know the risks before using any website for mixing. Which one is better, the decentralized mixing machanism mixers that coinjoin like wasabi wallet which now only accept coins that have not be involved in illicit activities or centralized mixers which people with illicit activities will prefer not to use because it is centralized.
Wasabi wallet is inferior for privacy compared to Chipmixer, and especially after recent decision from them to blacklist certain transactions. There is nothing wrong in using open source software, but apparently regulators thinks differently and developers are under heavy pressure if they are publicly known. I am sure we are going to see more wallets that use different approach for achieving better privacy for Bitcoin transactions.

I guess the question is do you really have to use the Muun wallet or will any wallet work? I didn't check yet, going to later today but was just wondering why that one vs my own running on my own node.
I think Muun wallet team received some donations before from HRF ($25k back in 2021), they probably like what they are doing and that is the reason to choose them. Muun wallet have some unique way of storing both regular Bitcoin and Lightning transactions in single multi-signature wallet, so maybe it's something related with that. You can try receiving sats with other wallet, but there must be a reason for them to say several times to use Muun wallet and not something else.

The test plate is done and on the road I am curious to see how the test performs and i hope i will not on the laste place Good luck with testing and thanks for posting notification here! I am sure your plate won't be placed last, there are some terrible metal plates tested by Lopp, they partially used aluminum or bad systems with multiple parts. Stuff like this fall apart under stress and pressure, and anything that is solid like your plate, that is made from stainless steel showed much better results. I wrote recently there are two types of stainless steel good for backup, that is 304 (better melting points) and 316 with better corrosion properties and can survive even in salt water.

Pi Zero 1.3s are back in stock! €21,67 plus shipping is still higher price for Raspberry Pi than I would like to seem but I can't find many shops that have it available for lower price now. The Lil'Pill SeedSigner enclosure including resin printed buttons is now available for purchase. For those who have their own 3D-printers, the files are available in the download section. Are you going to make Lil'Pill SeedSigner available as a Kit, same way you have Open Pill and Orange Pill kits? This would be great alternative for newbies and everyone else who wants to buy one more device. An experimental threaded joystick, which threads on the dreaded "stabby nub" of the SeedSigners Waveshare display, is currently being sent out to testers, one has already confirmed it works as intended. The file is available in our download section, and the resin printed joysticks will be added to every new order.
You know that someone found out those little red trackoints zsed on Thinkpad laptops can also work for SeedSigners I don't know if you recently reduced prices for SeedSigner Kits, but this sale prices are looking sweet, and you don't have to waste time collecting all parts separately.

I don't know if anyone saw that HRF Humans Right Foundation (the real one, not a scam started by Zoltan Konder scammer) is giving everyone 2,100 sats in Lightning Network to everyone who wants it. All you have to do is, download Muun wallet for your smartphone and fill the form with your email address (use some temp mail) and write explanation why are you interested in Bitcoin? You obviously can't get rich by doing this, but it's a good way for people to get their first Bitcoin for free and using Lightning. Check out this cool page on HRF website: Facing high inflation, frozen bank accounts, or difficulties in sending money? Bitcoin is a way out. https://www.getbitcoin.org/#get-btc

We create smart contract for HODLing bitcoin for 5 years (that’s rough number, could be anything). For users who send their BTC to the smart contract, some new token or coin would be given. Tokens have their tokenomics, the whole thing is DAO with voting, stakings, farmings etc. For HODLers NFTs can be generated to create community thing.
This sounds to me like one more scam token is being made on some centralized shitcoin network with sole purpose of stealing Bitcoins from original owners and creating false sense of security. If you want to make it harder for yourself to spend Bitcoin just make some multisig setup and spread it in multiple locations that you can't access so easy. You can also split your keys from that multisig setup with some of your family members or friends, and create special terms for signing transactions and spending funds.

Your website sends Error 522. Something must have happened.
It's down for me also, but can't you see their previous post (posted seven days ago) saying they will temporary shut down both of their websites for maintenance and for some technical work? If you need to use bitcoin mixer you have other very good alternatives you can use meanwhile.

Still not working on Tor.
It works for me, I just checked it now in my Tor browser, so it must be something on your end or try changing Tor identity with new IP address. However, I do think that it would be a good idea for BestChange to add .onion version of their website, to avoid downtime issues in future. Same as for Chipmixer, I would prefer using that instead of clearnet version.
