This is still open. Also: Moderators on other sites, please be loyal and stay there.  Cool

If you're interested in me becoming a moderator, let me know.

I have been a moderator on Bitsler like 6 months ago but decided to give up my position on that site because of work and was unable to maintain an active presence in the chat.

Either way, let me know via PM. I'm a native english speaker and can type fast. However my timezone isn't Europe. It's in fact 10 hours ahead of UTC Tongue So basically, I wake up when you guys go to sleep.
5062  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Warning: Possible scam attempt at fortunejack.com on: April 19, 2017, 02:55:34 AM
I think that they have contradicted themselves a few times in their correspondence with you.

Seems like they're trying to cover up the lies they told with more lies. If it wasn't a bug, then what was it? They say "technical maintenance" but I really think if you ask any other casino operator no technical maintenance will be done when a game was still live, ready to be played.

Either way, FJ is at fault. Thankfully it was only some free spins, and you didn't lose any of your deposit on this.
5063  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling Iphone 7+ SuperClones (Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge also available) on: April 19, 2017, 02:43:19 AM
Yeah maybe should have read the post first. Even though they are clones, that is not a good price at all. When I went to China recently, people in the counterfeit markets were selling them for 100-150 US dollars depending on the quality.

^^ Vixmore is right Smiley
I always buy my phones from china... I never pay more than $160 for a phone.
At this moment, i'm using the umi super.. I bought it at around ~€150, it includes a 5.5 inch 2.5D Arc Screen,  Android 6.0 (upgrade to android 7 available), 64bit Octa Core 2.0GHz processor, 13.0MP Camera, 4GB RAM, 32GB ROM,Accelerometer, Compass, Fingerprint Scanner,...

I do buy actual chinese brands, not clones or replicas. If you buy a replica, you have a reasonable chance your country's customs will seize the phones. If you buy a genuine chinese product, the only risk you take is having to pay import duties.

I wish the OP good luck in his sale thread tough... I guess that if you really want a replica of an iphone, the cost will probably be higher than a genuine chinese brand.
Those are plain android phones, these phones are built to look like Iphones therefore they cost a bit more to manufacture. Alot of work goes into the appearance and software used on these phones.
I have watched a few Youtube videos on the subject of clones and I think the Chinese are doing an awesome job of keeping apple working, LOL.

But these phones on Youtube even the best ones seems to me to be at best a tool to get dumb chicks... Or to show off to your friends or just for a prank, really. The phones aren't really functional software-wise, and although it looks like the iPhone you can't even play any games on it(that is if you can even download the game), and you have to download apps from Google play.

Anything that your clones offer better than the youtube clones?
5064  Economy / Economics / Re: Design The Perfect Bank on: April 19, 2017, 02:33:57 AM

So I was wondering, what would you guys consider the perfect bank.

Fees?
Common complaints?
Things it should offer?
Locations / Online only?
What currencies should be accepted?

Well anything you can really think of.

I want to hear from you and want to hear about the most common complaints.
Any bank horror stories?
What happened?
What should have happened?

I personally think that banks should be avoided at all costs - bitcoin is a good alternative to avoid that middle man altogether. I believe that this is one of the most important steps we can take towards making banks up their game, in terms of fees and all.

I was really shocked to find how much hassle it was to exchange foreign currencies and if you had cash, they would offer you really really bad rates.

Foreign transfer fees are ridiculous as well.

Bitcoin solves all these things.
5065  Economy / Services / Re: Looking fir someone who can remove paypal limitation on: April 19, 2017, 02:28:47 AM
They are asking for ID (Used a fake name)

Proof of ss number (fake also)

And a bank statement

Will split funds
 $141.45

Funds have been in account for a few months now

Seems like you have bought one of the "stealth" paypal accounts that is registered using completely fake information.

In this case there is really nothing you can do. However there is this guy here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1624812.0 that says he is offering a cashout service for paypal whether or not your account is legit or not.

He takes a large cut though, but it's better than all of your money gone.

I definitely love the idea of bringing more liquidity to finance. Also the ICO looks pretty good as well. Hopefully this is going to be a successful ICO for both the investors and the dev team.

I have joined your sig campaign. This is going to be an interesting ride for anyone involved in the project for sure.

5068  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Experiences with goldmoney? on: April 17, 2017, 08:39:23 AM
Is there anyone that has enough experience with goldmoney that can tell me is there a vault that is more secure than others? Would it be safe to accept trades for goldmoney from anyone or should i only trade with reputable members? Please let me know.
- Yes i have few experience with goldmoney (bad one).
- I think you can do almost anything with canadian vault but their dubai vault is just crap.
- Yes it can be safe but there can be chargebacks so be careful.

One of the biggest downside they have is their hidden terms and condition which can lead to your account suspension. I have got my account suspended without any reason and that have some gold in it.

Would you share your bad experiences with goldmoney? I would love to know.

Also, which vault is the best? You stated Canadian vault but as far as I can tell there is no real difference between Canadian and the rest of the world's fault, aka Hong Kong, etc. except Dubai and Paypal vaults of course.

And why do people hate the Dubai vault so much? I understand that you can't transfer the gold out of the Dubai vault, but you can still freely withdraw that gold via the usual methdos like bank transfer right?
5069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: YO-EX ---- FAST, RESPONSIVE AND FEATURE PACKED EXCHANGE. on: April 17, 2017, 06:29:34 AM
I registered on the site yay me! I the interface is definitely user friendly but may I suggest just to add on the yo ex? I think It would be nice to have a dice like in yobit while trading we can also gamble, and also when you gonna add new coins? I hope my suggestion could reach you. Thanks in advance

Yeah I would definitely want to see more coins added as well.

Right now there is only a few pairs available for trading, Yocoin vs Bitcoin and Yocoin vs USD.

Hopefully they can add major altcoins as well, such as Ethereum, Monero, Dash etc. in the near future. That way it is possible to get more volume, and will attract more altcoin players to the site.
5070  Economy / Services / Re: YO-EX Signature Campaign [Pay Per Post]{FULL} on: April 17, 2017, 06:27:51 AM
Me too, I forgot to make a post in the Yo-ex thread.

I'll make one now, hope i can still get paid.

Thanks
5071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ICO IS NOW OPEN : Simply bitcoin on ethereum on: April 15, 2017, 12:39:06 AM
Lol, first of all your logo is absolutely disgusting.

Secondly what the hell? Your ICO schedule is to sell your tokens for 0.001% of bitcoin's price in the beginning and then sell the tokens for 70% at the end for the investors? Like come on man, it's not hard to figure out that it's obviously a scam that you're running here.

this thread should be deleted by administator,  Scam  for sure.

Admins don't delete likely scams, it's up to the community to decide.
5072  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 60,000 Unconfirmed transaction and counting on: April 14, 2017, 07:13:35 AM
What exactly is going on here?: https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions Is it possible that It's some kind of attack from miners to make people think that we need Bitcoin unlimited? Hash rate is no longer being displayed on the first page for some reasons so I can't tell exactly.

Yeah, it is definitely a spam attack i think.

Even Coinbase has a hell of a ton of transaction backlog to go through. And although usually their transactions can stay pending for minutes before it is actually broadcasted onto the bitcoin blockchain, I waited like 1 hour for my transaction to go through today.

Make sure you pay enough fees, otherwise you're screwed.
5073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good Altcoin for longterm investment on: April 14, 2017, 12:39:06 AM
ETH is going to be good in log term since active support and large community

Ethereum would be a good choice because it is basically bitcoin's number one competitor at this moment.

Rest of the altcoin market is filled with scams, pump and dumps. It is best to only buy coins that have a good developer that has a good reputation in the bitcoin community, and an obvious will to succeed in the long term.

Ethereum, Monero, and Ripple would be my personal long term bets.
5074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: slow transaction on: April 13, 2017, 11:23:52 PM
I don't know what fee the sender used( I bought from a trusted website ). But it's coming in to a blockchain wallet.

Tx details. https://blockchain.info/tx/f6b15ffd6317a8f447fa65b7fe640c59675e64ffd6734cb0640065e842c24a51
This transaction pays a decent fee, but it will still be a little delayed by it. The main issue with your transaction is that it spends from an unconfirmed transaction: https://blockchain.info/tx/0c340ea899631f4d6b2cd579c32d3e973059b76bf65fe2b42752593a068bb778 which also spends from another unconfirmed transaction: https://blockchain.info/tx/625b3f2c573defa3b0458d1568ff04705749e7676defa93945c3b529c1dade9a. Your transaction cannot confirm until both of these unconfirmed transactions confirm as well.

Thanks. I guess I'll just sit on it and wait. Smiley

The fees on both of your transactions are actually all alright so you shouldn't worry about it at all.

The only thing you can do currently is to use a transaction accelerator to just the one from viabtc which is free.

Or you can wait, of course.
5075  Economy / Speculation / Re: Take profits now! on: April 13, 2017, 11:21:40 PM
The momentum is dying out, its time for a profit taking if anyone wants to make 10-20% and buy back.

http://bitcoincharts.com/charts/btceUSD#rg180ztgSzbgBza1gWMAzm1g10za2gWMAzm2g25zxzi1gCCIzi2gMACDzv

The way things are going, there is more money in dumping/buying back than just HODLing.

I've sold some coin at the top already so I'm not that concerned right now. Worst situation for me is that bitcoin crashes to sub one thousand dollars and I lose some of the profits I made from buying at 700, that's all.

But it does seem like that the moon island is changing right now it is starting to move sideways instead of going up every day it is interesting that we have never broken $1,300 and stayed above that level it's interesting to see when that would happen actually.

If it does drop below 1000 and I'll be the first person to buy in lol
5076  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all nations of the world started to use bitcoin on: April 13, 2017, 11:18:17 PM
What will happened if every country started to use bitcoin. Is the current supply of bitcoin and blockchain capacity can handle every bitcoin user?

Thanks in advance.

People all around the world are already using bitcoin.

So I think what you meant is that what if the governments in every single country in the world decided that they should legalise the usage of bitcoin and therefore everyone in their country starts using it.

I would say that bitcoin is definitely up for the challenge, because it was designed to be a global currency in the first place. However therw are still scalability issues to be solved before worldwide adoption can actually begin.
5077  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I can't use bitcoin buying a coffee now. on: April 13, 2017, 12:20:08 AM
I used to buy a coffee from time to time with bitcoin.
But I can't use bitcoin buying a coffee now, because the fee is so high, if I keep 0.0001 fee like before, it would take days for the transaction to get confirmed, I've got a transaction which took 11 days to get the 1st confirmation last month.
It's not cost-effective any more to buy (I mean both online and buying face to face) thing via bitcoin. And this is why I quit buy coffee with bitcoin.

That is so true.

However this presents an opportunity for all the altcoins to make a better solution than bitcoin with the micropayments.

I think bitcoin is originally designed for overseas payments more than face to face payments. For face to face payments, you've still got fiat currency, but you cannot send fiat overseas without incurring a heck of a fee.

Hopefully the fees will come down in due time, right now the fee is so high, combined with the high price of bitcoin, making it unacceptable.
5078  Economy / Economics / Re: One Reason not to be "All Inn" on any Single Investment for Long on: April 13, 2017, 12:01:57 AM
...

I have long written that diversification is a very smart idea.  No one can predict the future, etc.  But discussed below is another reason not be 100% in ANY investment, at least for long.  I ran into this argument at a gold blog.

Imagine that you are 100% invested, "All Inn", in gold.  Even if the price of gold were to go way up, there is still a big risk that many don't see.  Namely what happens if there is a big price drop JUST when the owner might NEED to sell (eg, an unexpected emergency).  If our imaginary friend bought in at $1275 gold (approx. price today), and then price drops to $900 (Martin Armstrong predicts a sharp price drop like this, prior to a big price rise, a "slingshot" price rise after its initial drop).

And then, just at a bad time for the gold owner, he might need money (US dollars) to cover an unexpected $200,000 medical bill.  And he if forced to sell his gold at a 25% loss to cover his bills...  Ouch!  It would hurt even more should gold then go to $2500 per ounce.

So, it is unwise to be All Inn on gold, even if we were to be very sure that $2500 gold is coming.

The above scenario would hold for Bitcoin as well, or anything else to be held long-term.

Some of us gold owners have a saying: "Protect the precious."  That means keep some powder dry (CA$H on hand) for the unexpected.
I 100% agree with you.

The way to go is to diversify your selected investments.

Hedge your bets so that even if one of the investments you made went down or went scam, you'll still have money more that you can rely on easily. You can sleep well in your dreams Cheesy

The issue with most people is that they look at youtube, see "Gold is going up to $1 million an ounce" and then either dismiss it completely or make an investment in it with everything they've got.

That's not wise.
5079  Economy / Economics / Re: Will you invest in a MLM scam in early stage? on: April 12, 2017, 11:56:56 PM
Here is a interesting, hypothetical situation. What will you do if there is a MLM scam going on and it is in early stage. It is assuring 10% monthly return in bitcoins (of course it has that referral bonus part as well but it is optional, you don't need referral as you are getting 10% on your investment.).  B'cause of it's early stage, people are investing happily and getting returns monthly. In short equation of incoming source money > outgoing money. By looking at situation, let's say this scam/scheme will go on two more year.   There are some people who rip benefits from these kind of scams/schemes as they invest very early and in large chunk.

Will you invest in such scheme well before it vanishes with bitcoins/money?

That's literally what the Chinese are doing.

There are people making a shit ton of money from MLMs like Mr. Mavrodi's MMM scheme, as well as other "revenue sharing" schemes that seemed to good to be true to an average Joe like me.

But all of these people who are making money are taking money out of innocent, unknowing people.

Worst of all, they are actually promoting that scam to more people so that they get referral commissions.

I wouldn't do it, it's too risky and it's morally wrong.
5080  Economy / Trading Discussion / Experiences with goldmoney? on: April 12, 2017, 11:53:53 PM
I've recently came across the site goldmoney.

Seems like a great idea to me, as it enables users to send literal gold to users all across the world.

However obviously there is a risk of chargebacks. Is there anyone that has enough experience with goldmoney that can tell me is there a vault that is more secure than others? Would it be safe to accept trades for goldmoney from anyone or should i only trade with reputable members? Please let me know.

Thanks
