5061  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger clothing + Nano X! on: May 27, 2020, 10:50:57 PM
$44 for simple T-shirt and $83 for sweater - I think it's theft. I understand that clothes of well known brands have such price. But c'mon paying so much for clothes which doesn't looks special at all - I will skip this offer. After all, you have no idea what quality clothes you will get for this price.
About privacy, I'm not sure that these clothes identify that you're crypto user who have Ledger wallet full of Bitcoins. Resilience in design - probably 99% of people have no clue where from this phrase comes. And "not your keys - not your coins" is located in not most visible place. I think it would be pretty much same like to buy T-shirt with Bitcoin logo from second hand shop - I just would spend much less Cheesy.
5062  Other / Meta / Re: I am sick of this... on: May 27, 2020, 10:33:53 PM
Well, it's online forum where people comes from all corners of world, from different social tiers, culture, education and every have their point of view. It's impossible to have perfect forum without these kind of people. Same like in real life - you can't like every person who is around you.
1. What do you expect when we have signature campaigns? Some people obviously came here just for money and it's nothing strange that they are posting as much as they can to maximize their earnings.
2. Sometimes it's just pointless to discuss with some people and any of your arguments will not work. For people who are saying that earth is flath, you can't prove that they are wrong, no matter what you say, they will just deny all facts. So, it's better not to waste your time sometimes.
3. I don't know about it, I haven't noticed such things. Maybe it's not worth to pay attention to these wannabe bosses Smiley.

You can report these, if they get deleted (they often do), they can't get paid for that post.
I think such posts usually isn't bad enough to be deleted. It doesn't break. any rules, it's not off-topic. It's just generic post made just to reach sig. campaign weekly posting quota.
5063  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: (discussion) as a newbie should you or should you not loan to invest in BTC. on: May 26, 2020, 11:02:52 PM
Take a loan and invest it somewhere - it's not wise decision in general, not only when talk about investment in crypto. Investments into gold or buying share also wouldn't be smartest decision. What you're going to do if investment will fail? Take another loan to repay older one. Probably only things like buying real estated with borrowed money doesn't looks stupid.
Golden rule - you should invest your own money only, and not more than you afford to lose. It applies to all investors, not newbies only.
5064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you do think you can start betting in sportsbook again? on: May 26, 2020, 10:41:52 PM
Well, I didn't stopped betting even during pandemy. There was still some football leagues running like Belarus or Nicaragua. So, I was betting on it sometimes, because I really missed sports betting. And now when Bundesliga returned, it's such good feeling when you can watch top level football and bet on it. There is quite many football already running, so there is some options to bet on. I just can't wait until La Liga will return.
1. PBA is Philippines league, right? If yes, I have no idea how much Philippines were affected by virus, so I won't answer it.
2. I would predict that Nba will return somewhere in July.
3. I haven't folowed what's going on in boxing lately and don't know when major events were scheduled to happen. But I think in June we will see some events returning.

Overall pandemic situation is not getting lower actually. We are at the last stage of first wave only and second wave is on the way. I don’t think in this kinda situation affected countries will take extra risks to start sports on their region rather than keeping everything paused as it is for next couple of month. Already WHO declared that after europe covid19 gonna massively spread on Africa and Asian territory where large number of people will get affected for sure. Already its started and most concerning thing is that it can reverse to other countries like it did from China to all over the world.

Definitely corona virus will stay longer than we are expecting and results will be massive if people don't follow proper guidelines which are provided by their government.
It's getting better, not as fast as we would like, but it's fact, just look at charts. And second wave - it's just predictions. Nobody can guarantee that it will happen. Or if it will happen, nobody knows how serious it will be. For me sometimes it feels that all talks about second wave are made to keep people in fear.
5065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: May 26, 2020, 10:23:47 PM
BTW Countiho's loan deal is about to end by the end of the June. Coutinho really played well in Bayern, what do you guys think about him? He didn't had a good time in Barca before the loan deal happened but have played very well in Bayern where he played 22 games and scored 8 goals (I think he scored a hat-trick in one of the matches there) and have 6 assists. Do you think he will fit again with Barcelona after he comes back again?
Before Barca bought him from Liverpool, I was sure that he is perfect player for Barca and their style. But something just went wrong. I'm happy that he found himself in Bayern, but now I don't see his future in Barcelona, as much as I hate to say it.

^^
It's actually possible to claim 24 times in 24 hours. But even if you're not going to sleep, better don't do that. It's big red flag and you may be marked as user who is abusing faucet.

@slaman29, I just noticed your post, congratulations with your win! It's great to see fellow Bitcointalk members winning something Smiley. I hope that my lucky day will come sooner or later Cheesy.
5067  Economy / Reputation / Re: 888STARZ Casino: Belongs to 1xbet/1xbit (known scammers) - Plz support flag! on: May 25, 2020, 10:42:27 PM
Oh shit, not again... Ok, I know that we all expected that 1xbet will return with new website eventually. But I'm just wondering how many times they have to caught to give up. But at least these researches aren't worthless. They shutdown exposed websites like Kawbet and Cleobet, let's hope that same will happen with this website.
Great job @OP, you saved my time. To be honest 888STARZ CEO contact with me before few hours back regarding manage their signature campaign.
So, this time they got caught even before launching signature campaign? Not bad Smiley.
5068  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Dear newbies, this is how you get merits on: May 25, 2020, 10:29:35 PM
Congrats, OP! You just discovered America. Because before your post nobody didn't know for what you can get merits in WO thread. But I think it's not a problem at all - there is no rule which say that you can get merit just by posting serious stuff.
And maybe I'm confusing it with Serious discussion board, but I think that newbies can't post in Wall Observer thread, so your suggestion may not work for them.

5069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: May 25, 2020, 10:18:14 PM
So will be other teams as well. So every team is in the same position and it wouldn't matter much.

Plus Barcelona are really performing good. They went down a little with injuries, one of them being Suarez before the lockdown but still they were doing good despite the injuries. Suarez is likely to start again once things start rolling again in June. I think they will do good in remainder of the season as well after it starts. Barcelona are currently leading in La Liga but only with a 2 point margin and they yet have to face Napoli in second leg in CL. They have to take things very carefully from here on now.

Suarez had serious injury and it was said that he won't return this season, but then this Covid-19 situation happened and he got time and now it's likely that he will return when seasin will restart. It's very good news for Barca because before season was stopped we had serious problems in attack, struggling to score even against bottom table tesms.
And yeah, Barca are in good positions to win La Liga and maybe Champions league. But there is serious problems around club - big financial issues, questionable transfers policy, whole drama before upcoming president elections.
5070  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Should Hardware Wallets Be Open Source? on: May 24, 2020, 10:32:24 PM
Perfectly, hardware wallets should be open source. Though, most popular hardware wallet isn't open source and it's not a problem at all. But I think it's Ledger is more like exception from the rule, they already earned trust without being open source. But IMO every new hardware wallet which enter market, it must be open source. If they aren't open source, it creates some doubts about them, that they may have something what they want to hide.
By the way, how many of you actually verify source code yourselve before buying hardware wallet or other thing or downloading open source program? I'm sure that minority are doing that...
5071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FOX prepared to add virtual fans and crowd noise to NFL broadcasts on: May 24, 2020, 10:11:02 PM
It depends on the stadium, there are some NFL stadiums that are nothing more but tourist traps that are very profitable but that do not really have any kind of atmosphere, but there are other stadiums like the CenturyLink field of the Seattle Seahawks and the Arrowhead stadium of the Kansas City Chiefs which are not only really loud but at some point they have held the Guinness World Record for the loudest stadium and as far as I know that record is still in possession of the Arrowhead stadium.
Thanks for explanation. I know about atmosphere in NBA or NHL arenas or MLS stadiums, but I was completely unfamiliar with things on NFL. In NBA it's so bad that I can't even describe it, but in some MLS stadiums atmosphere is actually better than in some stadiums in Europe. Good to hear that there is some loud stadiums in NFL. You know, there is lot of stereotypes about American people who came to sports event to eat and spend their time well instead of supporting their team.
5072  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Put Covid-19 behind, Vietnam held a 10,000 audience-football match. on: May 24, 2020, 10:00:11 PM
Great news! Now it's very strange to see sports event with spectators. But looking at Vietnam COVID-19 stats, I don't think it was bad idea to allow spectators into stadium, especially with all protection measures. Now I'm just wondering when life will return to normal in Europe and USA and people will be allowed to enter stadiums.

Definitely a bad idea in my opinion this virus has a first second and third waves as long as we don't have vaccine for this, yes they have survived the first wave but what they have done could be the start of he second wave, just like what happen to Singapore and Japan where they were hit by a second wave badly because they become relax on the situation.
So, what you're offering? Sit in lockdown until vaccine will be found? I don't think it's solution. It can few years until working vaccine will be found. But it's also possible that it will never happen or vaccine will be not effective enough.
5073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: May 24, 2020, 06:16:17 PM
- No handshakes/hugs before and after the match.
It is perfect to see La Liga resume soon.

At least, this rule is so hilarious. Handshakes or hugs are prohibited before and after matches. Does it make any sense because during matches, players have to face-to-face in their fightings. What they expose each other in matches are much more what they did before and after matches.  Roll Eyes
It's probably most pointless restriction, same like don't allowing players to celebrate goals in usual way when they hug each other - these restrictions just don't change anything because players have close contact with each other during the game so many times. Maybe they should forbid tackles, or to make walls during free kicks.
Probably it's more PR which show people good example of social distancing, rather than actual measure to protect players.
5074  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaigns and some discussion about seo on: May 23, 2020, 11:20:25 PM

~snip~

There is no way how signature campaign can move website into high place in Google search results.
I guess that's a typo?
Well managed signature campaigns raise brand awareness in bitcoin community, thus resulting in increased number of visitors on your website. Along with increased visitors from signature ads, your website's links are indexed with anchor texts on bitcointalk and this results in increased number of backlinks where some of them may be links with high URL ratings. Number of backlinks depends on how many participants you have in your campaign and how many posts they have.
Not, it's not typo, but probably I had to express myself in different words. Most of signature campaigns nowadays advertise gambling websites and this market is very competetive. So, if someone launch new gambling website and start signature campaign, it won't help them to reach first places of search results. Offcourse, it may increase their positions, but not very significant. To reach better results, more complex PR campaign is needed - use AdWords, buy ad slots on specific websites, press releases on news media, communication on social networks. Sponsorship deals like Sportsbet.io and Watford have probably is big factor too.
You may try to enter some keywords into Google search like "Bitcoin gambling", Bitcoin sportsbook" and check results. These results will be a bit different for every user because of location. But at least for me, I couldn't say that having signature campaign guarantee good position in search result. I see plenty of websites which never had or don't have sig. campaign on Bitcointalk and they are shown above these services who have it now.

Long live, Playbetr!

OFFICIAL : LA LIGA TO RETURN JUNE 8

https://www.skysports.com/share/11993322
Finally! What a great news. La Liga is the most awaited league for me, so I'm very happy that I will able to watch my Barca and all other teams. More and more leagues returns every week, though Bundesliga was the only major competition so far.
5077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 22, 2020, 08:47:31 PM
I don't think that's something that has been implemented has it, just proposed? I don't think they should allow more subs though. Doesn't really make sense. The actual game rules should just be played as normal in my opinion.
FIFA allowed 5 subsitutions until the end of 2020:
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.fifa.com/who-we-are/news/amp/five-substitutes-option-temporarily-allowed-for-competition-organisers
But it's optional, every league can decide whether allow it or no. I don't see bad aspects of this change, same like they allowed 4th subsitution on overtime previously. Teams will have very intensive schedule in next few months and risk of injuries may increase. Though, from what I saw in Bundesliga so far, managers don't always use all 5 substitutions.
5078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What sports do you think that can resume amid Covid-19 scare. on: May 21, 2020, 08:30:01 PM
I think we should accept fact that most of sports will be played without spectators in upcoming few months at least (though in my country, football league returns with limited number of spectators and social distancing between them.) Probably almost every sport can return soon if virus situation isn't very bad in that country. They just need to take all precautions - measure athletes temperature, make tests if they can, reduce number of contacts between players, staff and etc when it's not neccessary.
Individual sports is safest - tennis, motorsport, athletics, golf, darts and etc. While team sports and boxing, MMA, wrestling is less safe because of big number of contacts between athletes. But as we see from UFC and Bundesliga, there is no issues to continue it. It would be just stupid to wait until virus will gone or magical vaccine will be invented. People now return to their jobs and sports shouldn't be exception.
And I just want to tell few words about swimming. From first look it seems safe because there is distance between swimmers and pool is full of chlorine, which disinfect water. But I want to say that swimmers share one warmup pool and there is many athletes in it at one time without keeping distance. And they sharing dressing room, showers, what isn't very safe.
5079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Underground Casinos Is it Happening? on: May 21, 2020, 07:59:30 PM
No doubt that in these strange times many casinos are working underground. Damn, I know some barbershops and gyms who been working underground when they were forced to close. So, casinos isn't exception.
I don't know does these taking all precautions, probably not. But I think, first of all people shouldn't expect that someone will work hard to protect them. People first should try to protect themselves. And if they are going to such casinos now should accept all risks and later don't blame anyone if they got inffected. After all, casinos is probably safer place than shops were we are going to buy food every day Smiley.
5080  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn passive income with your raspberry pi on: May 21, 2020, 07:46:25 PM
I heard about using Raspberry Pi for staking or mining. Not sure about mining, but I think using it for staking isn't bad idea. You can also use Raspberry to run full node, though it's not source of income.
WhenI saw topic title, I thought content will be just about Raspberry, but there is some not related things. Automate faucets or use Coinpot isn't related. Owning website isn't passive income source because maintaining website requires lot of work. And gardening isn't completely passive and free thing. You have to take care of it and also water and other stuff costs some money Smiley.
You can.
There is a service which solves it for you. You can get 1000 solved captchas for 0.5 to 1$.

Whether it is worth using that on some faucets which give little to no BTC.. i would doubt that.
But you definitely don't need to solve them yourself  Smiley
Yeah, such services exists, but faucets obviously don't allow to use it. So, you're just risking to get your account banned. And as you said, it's probably not even worth to do it for insignificant amount of BTC.
