5061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Preferred crypto betting site ? on: July 26, 2019, 10:12:16 AM
so i also think that there are no sports betting on them  .
There's a sports betting with Bitdice,

Here is the rules based on my research, - https://sports.bitdice.me/sports/sports-betting-rules-1
and here's the scam accusation on their sportsbook, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5157087.0

That pretty means they are operating a sportsbook.
5062  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: July 26, 2019, 10:03:24 AM
Of course everyone wanted him to see get Floyd next, but the guys is happy to be out of the boxing scene, although he seems to be out of the media more often after the Manny win so we don't know if he still has the balls to face Manny.
He is out in the media because Senator Manny Pacquiao is in the lime light after that win from Thurman. That's all he (Floyd) can do now, steal the lime light by reiterating his 0 loss record. Now that there's back and fort conversation in the social media (Instagram and Twitter) between Senator Manny and Floyd, I guess there's a chance, Senator Manny is pissing him (Floyd) off.
If that's his purpose, that would not work, he can't pissed a guy who thinks differently, Mayweather is an example of a smart fighter and smart fighter don't get pissed, he will be back in business when necessary but not because he is pissed, most likely due to money or fame again.
5063  Economy / Speculation / Re: why Bitcoin sudden dump, when it will bounce again... on: July 25, 2019, 06:04:19 AM
There's no bear market, this is more like a correction, market is not going back to the old bear market yet, it has to recover first and probably reach a new ATH before it will be back with long correction again.

There was a dump, we saw it, bitcoin fall below $10,000 but that's just at least for a day or two, and good news is we are back up again, stable at $10,000.
5064  Economy / Services / Re: 🚀CyberDice🎲Signature 🎲Campaign🚀[ALL SEATS TAKEN] on: July 25, 2019, 05:29:34 AM
Thanks for the great opportunity, working with you promoting CyberDice.
Hope there will be more such campaigns in the future. As it has come
to an end, are we free to remove the signature, avatar and personal text.

The manager has not yet updated the spreadsheet so you cannot remove your avatar and signature code, I made a mistake in one of campaign removing it hours before the counting and I lose all my stakes on that campaign, it's better to wait for the manger's announcement.

Unless there's no formal announcement, it's safe to keep wearing the signature.
I'm sure the manager of the new campaign he will join would understand that, as I checked in the spreadsheet there's only a note to change the siggy.
5065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambler's Fallacy (The key to unbiased gambling) on: July 24, 2019, 11:30:30 PM
It does not matter the least if you are gambling for fun or pleasure. The end is always a win and a loss and many do prefer and worry about the win. The intensity of winning however is not really high when it comes to someone who is looking for fun. A big number of people do it to make quick money. Uncertainty is an inbuilt trait in gambling and to me, it is a risky investment.

Yea I feel like a lot of people are just hoping for that extra $50, real quick. Thinking it's only once and that they'll win because they are lucky. In reality gambling isn't an investment, it's a form of entertainment. It's only entertainment if you look at it that way though, otherwise you will end up feeling frustrated and extremely disappointed in yourself. Despite the "only gamble what you are willing to lose" phrase, people still gamble ending up mad because they lost money.

That is depending on your skills, if you have the skills, you can consider gambling as a form of investment, a gambler would only become successful if he can survive and be profitable in the long term. But of course, this does not count on roulette, dice, and other forms of luck based games as that house edge matters a lot in the run. One can become a successful sports bettors and that's appropriate to call an investment for him.
5066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbetting odds, which do you prefer? on: July 24, 2019, 11:14:15 PM
I see a few people try this parlay strategy,,, and you also see it in dice a lot.

Come again? I don't know that you can parlay in dice... Maybe what you meant is martingale, or betting on low change with high possible win?

I think martingale is a strategy will not bring nothing good and make lose a lot if try to recover with.

No question about that but the fact that this method is still popular, I can think of some possibilities that this is also working to some people doing it using the proper timing. For instance, I can do martingale in just 2 games like a race to 3 games if I believe this team should win at least one game.
5067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: July 24, 2019, 11:03:19 PM
FIBA is approaching, well, I like USA but I think betting odds is not so attractive, I always bet on the dogs so I also like the Spain to win in the competition.
Honestly, I'm not following this much, I love to back my countries team but I know they don't have the size and the length to compete against the best teams in the world.
5068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman on July 20 on: July 24, 2019, 05:16:25 AM
His last fight shows he still got it in him, but for how long?

I don't like to see a devastating loss of Manny, and with that said, I want him to retire as soon as possible.
He had the legacy, he should not be greedy for Manny as he always have enough money won in every fight, keeping his legacy and stay healthy is what I like for our champ.
5069  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily trading experience on: July 24, 2019, 05:04:55 AM
I don't like to do trading on a daily basis because we can't do full monitoring of changes in the price of bitcoin so I don't like it and we don't fully understand it, but if you understand and master trading on a daily basis this will really help you get results  rapidly
Indeed, in daily trading we must have a lot of time to keep track of market prices so as not to lag buy/sell.
Often daily trading makes us bored because of leisure time or playing with our friends to be reduced.
I guess there's a solution for that, you can buy a trading bot and then just trust it to do your job.
I have heard of that but I never tried using it, my friends told me it's effective but you have to spend to buy is which is pretty expensive if you are a small time trader.
5070  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: July 24, 2019, 04:46:20 AM
He is making money without breaking a sweat. He will not give up that record because if he did, his market value will go down and Senator Manny's market value will skyrocket.
Definitely, the way I understand on his statement, it seems there is no rematch happening.
Both will retire as good fighter but Manny will remain the legend between the two despite he was beaten by Mayweather.
People doesn't care of the record anymore, they care for what the fighter can give and that's what Manny are doing.
5071  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency are gonna disappear on: July 23, 2019, 10:21:01 PM
I always want to see people making such kind of post because they are the same people who will see BTC in the future mooning and they will be like had I known. BTC if would have dissappear,  I think by now it had been gone so let's all wait and see what will happen.
That's because even the saw a declining market trend but still, they give trust in crypto and even positive that it will be regaining its reputation against a negative accusation by the community. As I saw it by myself that it will be existing for many years, until such time that there is another technology that could be more useful than of crypto.

5073  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: July 23, 2019, 11:26:22 AM
As much as I want Manny to win if ever they will meet again inside the ring, I think I agree with Mayweather here. The performance that Manny has shown in his bout with Thurman may be amazing, with a knockdown even, but I can see an old Manny in there. I didn't see the hunger for a knockout after he saw Thurman standing back after the knockdown. With that performance, I am afraid he won't be able to equal Mayweather's athleticism, especially agility.
We should not forget that Floyd is older than Manny Grin. "Battle of the Oldies" but i think Mayweather has the advantage even if he is older maybe because of the breed lol.
Floyd Mayweather is just 2 years older than Manny Pacquiao manning that’s not that big to have a difference so the thing is they are both almost in the same age bracket

Their last bout says not that better because Manny is suffering from arm injury (in which if true the fight must not be set right?)and now if they will be on the ring together if given a chance I think the fight will be more exciting and worth to watch
I hope so, and I hope it will not be a disappointment again, we thought the first fight was an exciting fight but it ended up a boring fight.
Excitement only felt by the fans when Manny hits Mayweather but it did not happen most of the time in the game, it was Mayweather who dominated the fight and because of that, it results to a boring fight since that's how he fights.
5074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 23, 2019, 10:25:12 AM
Can't wait for the next season I wonder what Zion Williams got in his pocket when he finally faces the living legends like Lebron, Curry, and some other NBA stars out there.

And also Tacko can he still dominate the board if he faces the monster of the rim like Giannis and all of the best dunkers out there? Well, let's see both guys have enough room for further improvement.

He is still a rookie, the NBA now is not won by a one man game, he should have a good team for them to win.
There's a lot of competition in the NBA as there's a lot of big guys who can even shoot outside, but anyway, I'm still interested to see what he can bring.

I wonder who gonna become a champion this season.

Warriors?  Tongue Tongue
5075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Cryptocurrency? on: July 23, 2019, 08:09:39 AM
Not Bitcoin?

Nope. Bitcoin is just the first one that actually became decently successful and actually gained recognition everywhere. Most people just haven't heard of the past attempts for a global currency just because they weren't successful.

Read this: https://www.investopedia.com/tech/were-there-cryptocurrencies-bitcoin/

I never bother to make a research, I know bitcoin was not the first but I don't which coin was.
I just read from comments, people are calling bitcoin the first coin in the market, so they were wrong and they should head over this thread.
5076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is parlay an effective betting strategy? on: July 20, 2019, 04:00:45 AM
I prefer single bets over a parlay because most of the time am always off by one or two games which means am better off with singles.

And as far as I know placing single bets off that bet slip would live anyone in the green unlike going with parlays which could leave you with nothing.

That's pretty similar to my situation, I don't really win most of my bets but I still love to be on parlay.
I don't find it an effective way to make money but I find it attractive because we can multiply the betting odds to increase the amount of winning.

Because I think this is fun, I have my big bets on a particular game and some parlay with small bet just to have some thrill in the game.
Playing on parlay bet is really fun, you should try it, but don't focus on it.
5077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What importance is kyc In gambling section on: July 19, 2019, 10:46:32 PM
It seems to me that the provision of KYC should be associated only with the amount of winnings that the gambler wants to withdraw from the gaming site.  If for example the amount of funds exceeds $ 2,000 or $ 3,000, then you may be required to provide passport information.
As it only be required for a big to those who have a big amount of withdrawals but sadly its been asked to all after registration either you just withdrawing at minimum amount. I don't see any instances that it become mandatory to all but we can't do anything but to follow their rules and regulation or we just be rejected and can't move our funds into our wallet.
5078  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: AVOID trading at all costs, unless.... on: July 19, 2019, 10:34:25 PM
Even new investors should learn some basics on cryptocurrencies even if they are investing for long term. They should have knowledge on risk management and be prepared for any eventualities in the future because of high volatilities and unpredictable nature of bitcoin. I also experienced losses and mistakes in my early days of trading but I learned from it very well and managed to improve it.
We know that crypto trading isn't just an easy job and yet, it needs the knowledge to make it succeed. Will all the loses we've been encounter is all a part of crypto and nit really a thing to think that we don't have future in trading. It's up to us have to face the challenge and how to manage ourself to make it right.
5079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Collecting multiple ERC20 tokens. Good luck! on: July 19, 2019, 10:24:38 PM
Don't be quick to judge those coins. Infact, I have nothing less than 100 coins in my Erc20 wallet with no value at this point but hopeful, I should get something from them someday.
You're right, but looking at their current market performance it surely we cant tell something about. None of them has huge market potential, they still keep at low growing market movements and some of them are not. Not really that bad if half of our portfolio are profiting cause we can only have some returns un;ike if they all just nothing, it gonna be a waste of time.
5080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thoughts on Video game gambling addiction? on: July 19, 2019, 07:48:46 AM
There's nothing to be done here but just enjoy what you are doing, besides gambling is not bad as long as you know how to gamble responsible.
In life it's full of gamble and games won't be fun if you will not challenge, if you have the price, that means you are good.
In real life, they could also gamble because they believe they have the capability to win, that's the first thing in their mind, then the entertainment.
