What are the driving factors for crytpocurrency valuation?
Scarcity? Utility? Use? Demand? Network? or am I off base already?
We can see that the market has been fluctuating continuously over the past few days and it is difficult to predict. Both exchanges are red, bitcoin and altcoin prices are extremely strong in recent days and there is no clear signs of recovery. Therefore, in order to have successful commercials, you need to have a specific commercial plan in line with the information channels. Well, all the happenings in a digital market today is basically comes in the flow of supply and demand which changes the value day to day. Although some altcoins are pumping and some are dump.The predection of 2018 bitcoin is quit promising hopefully this will recover as early this year. Hopefully because if the market will not recover we will lose a lot of money especially those people who bought during the peak of last year. Patience is very important here, we cannot be successful if we do not trust the future of the crypto, we need to hold and be strong so we can avoid panicking. |

Emotions are really hard to control but we should set aside our feelings in some aspects in order to make ourselves more focus specially in decision making to avoid complications and problems.
That is the reality, but we should know that the requirement to be successful is to know how to control our emotion. It's our weakest link if we are not good in controlling our own emotion as every method we make will not be properly executed. |

We are studying this particular project and i also am thinking about investing, somebody investing and they are satisfied with your own investments
Momentum of the dev is very inspiring so that I also think this is good decision to take risk on this project. But always follow this pattern invest that amount you can afford to lose although I also have good expectation that is the reason why I am holding this token. Holding like any other Waves' asset. I'm all in big lost. But hope we'll be rewarded well soon  Hope is the only thing left...  Most of Waves' asset have lost 70-80% now. funny thing is , every time when waves comes with a nice updates about their developments, in stead of rising the waves are being dumped ?? weird .... I don't know what happen, it seems like waves time has not come yet and it's tokens are not growing. No wonder now there are more project who focuses only in using ETH platform than having dual with waves because the fast tokens does not have the success. |

Actually there is no fix income in bitcoin trading because trading because all earnings that you have earned are depends on your hard work and creative thinking in making startegies. So nothing is fixed at all.
Definitely, you cannot make money here all the time because it's not like a job where you are get paid fixed salary. In trading there is a big risk here and no one is certain with what will happen in the future and no one is really good in predicting the right outcome all the time. |

Great improvement from the dev team, I think it is the reason why the price of STU pumped a little recently. I have checked tha alpha version, but I an not a USA students, I can not join in more. Bitjob ico was successful and they raised enough money to develop the project. I think after every ico was doing the same and it will take some to develop the things they mentioned in the roadmap. There is a big difference on ICOs that were sold out compared to just collected a certain portion of their hard cap, bitjob did not sold out all tokens available for sale that is why they did not get listed immediately in big exchanges, so for now I must say it's a long way to go so keep holding. |

If you would base your analysis on those whales who manipulates bitcoin by buying and selling it then the answer is the supply and demand. This also includes as what you have said , the scarcity. Actually its a chain reaction where all you have listed in their belongs to the reason. But i dont care, as long as i can ride with the volatility and earn profit from it, from time for sure.
We cannot change the normal scenario in the crypto, the price is volatile but we can always take this as a positive thing as long as we know what factors to consider on why the price is moving, this would benefit us if we are a smart day trader as anytime we can gamble to make short term profits. |

Oh yes. For people pondering why Jack Kuveke (the so call community director) did not follow up on this thread anymore.
Cause him and his cronies are unable to censor any posts here. The main gamecredit thread, reddit and discord are heavily censored. There is a reason why the community is pretty much dead there, they virtually kill it by banning left and right. This is the only forum thread where investors are able to express their thoughts and feelings.
Today, I was banned on their discord because I said that if things continue to go the same way 'some investors will want to buy Molotov's cocktails and to come to their Belgrade office to burn it down'. Lol, in fact this is a menace to the MGO team. That they banned you for that point is their good right. if they want to go to belgrade for throwing Molotov cocktails is really stupid, people where even invited to visit their office to see where they busy with. But who am i, just a N00b bounty hunter who is talking to a N00b troll who talking his investment down. (it's even funny for a guy who buyed at the ICO and didn't dump after the release for around $2,50. Who is the N00b in this place  ) People who are still holding MGO now has iron balls and I could quality myself to that. I heard a lot of bad comments about the team because I believe they are also frustrated to see a development based on the price appreciation. As for me, there is no problem with MGO, maybe our expectation does not come on the time we expected it, we have to hope for better tomorrow. |

if the price falls after the ICO - it`s not mean that project not popular. It`s may be because now bitcoin price fall down, and many people afraid buy crypto - and tokens of this project too.
That's normal because most project falls after the ICO but it's temporary that's why smart investors are also taking this opportunity to buy cheap coins as they believe once it will be listed in bigger exchanges that price could rise easily and this would give them easy money. Been doing this method and it really works for me. Normally, investors put aside a half of the budget for ICO in order to purchase the token after ICO ended. As the price of token mostly drop afterward, they can own more tokens than spend that fixed budget totally in ICO. Not all are doing that IMO because most of them are not really looking for short term, they buy and they hold longer. Those who take advantage on that are those really smart people who are willing to do short trade and just get out the moment they get the profit based on target. |

Patience is actually a virtue be it in cryptocurrency or in life generally! Time do change things for better or worse! With patience comes all sort of emotion both negative and positive both if you ate patience and work through your issue, you will definitely come out as a winner.
Everyone has to understand that the market is not stable, it could dump or pump anytime so timing is really important. Now, if your target is far you have to wait until you will see the price then make sure you initiate the sell to make a profit, problem is some people change their mind when the price pump so they end up a bag holder. |

I don't really consider a lot of factors in trading so I want to make it simple and easy.
I based on the demand, I mean real demand and since we cannot see it right now, we have to think of the future to know its potential.
I do long term holding of coins that I like and I made sure I do research before buying.

To be honest, I don't think so in my case because I can manage myself to keep disconnected from this stuff in bullish as well as in the bearish market environment irrespective of my investment so I won't label my involvement as an addiction. However, I support anyone if he thinks that he is addicted to these things and willing to take a break from it.
I think it's hard to get addicted in trading unless you are treating it like gambling. I have been addicted in gambling but was never addicted in trading because the result is not instant unlike in trading, I don't know how that thing called addiction could affect the performance of a trader. |

I'm worried because the volume is too low and there's no increase.
We all know that bittrex is currently sensitive and removes all low-volume coins or other unexplained reasons.
You do not have to worry because at this moment altcoin everything is flushed and the volume is also very little. In time all must be at the pump.  I believe this project but I am worried about Bittrex, even in the current situation. They still remove a coin, 2 times in a month it annoys me. I hope so. But if the problem of exchange depends on the developer who decides. TRST has a very good network. Very bad if bittrex removes trst in trading. Worst case scenario if they will remove it, we just have to stay calm as there are a lot of exchanges out their, I am sure the team are capable of paying the listing fee, even small exchange like Kucoin are good nowadays. Yes you are right kucoin currently possess a large volume. It could be an alternative if something is not in the desire really happen. The trst team must take action immediately to anticipate this. Somehow. A sort of but not totally. Trading is also very risky and if you unlucky your coins can be hacked in an exchange accounts. Trading needs skills also but enethough they are skillful in this area losing is still inevitable. You would know, no one knows as prices is very unpredictable.
Actually gambling also needs skills. In my country, their is a law that only those gambling related games are allowed online where some sort of skill is used. Most of the sites are twisting the rules for their own benefits and have proved that there are skills required for playing games on their websites. Fact that they are running for years is evidence that the court agrees to this. You need skills if you do a skilled based games. However, most of the gamblers are gambling a luck based games but they think they can make money easily, it's a wrong mentality, when we think that gambling could give easy money, the more we will lose money. yes this is mistake that gambling is make money easily. Gambling is all about of luck to do that. Gambling is easy to get money and easy to lose money too. I prefer to choose trading than gambling. trading need skill and all not depend on luck only Gambling needs skills as well but most of the time we lose in gambling. Trading is something you can master and it can give you a consistent income if you master it, at least you can learn over time if you are willing to develop yourself and put passion on what you are doing. |

Just need to hold the tokens for a little longer if it's a good project
In the first place you won't invest if it's not a good project, success does not happen overnight here so be wise in holding for a long period of time to have a chance to be profitable, it's not easy if you want rush, you need to understand the nature and that you are investing on start up projects. |

Maybe bitcoin will be going to become the global currency. Only time will tell. And I still don't understand why most people did not realize that we have been deceived all these while to think that the money we are holding onto will still be worth the same someday. That is if the current financial system will still be around by then.
It can easily become a global currency because there is no hindrance in using it, that is what a decentralized system can do. Everyone can use bitcoin to transact online and we are just using one currency, the government cannot stop this because we are not controlled by them. |

bitcoin might become popular and many people using bitcoin. but it will not make the peper money to be disappearing. paper money is always welcome This is not ancient fashion. but paper money has existed since time immemorial.
Paper money will never be eliminated because it's very useful and there is no risk when you are using it unlike bitcoin where value is so volatile and anyone can lose money if he does not understand it's nature, crypto is quite difficult to comprehend for people who does not really need to use it, there are digital money which is more safer, they can use it if they are satisfied with the centralized system. |

It's nice that it works but I hope it does get some other interface, something a bit more flashy and good looking maybe, something a little more inviting with some animations. I would think that is something that could warrant a 1.0 update instead of a smaller incremental update. There was a pump yesterday but it was not able to rise well due to low volume. I think people want bigger than dice because this launch if they would really think it's big, it could have easily bring the price to the moon. |
