Any investment is a risk because there is always something that could go wrong, you never know it. The bank can propose you a bad investment as well, it already happened and always will. At least with bitcoin you know exactly in what you are putting your money in.

Anche perché Theymos è giovanissimo, se questa pagina è corretta è del '91: bitcoin è nato nel 2009 ma penso che se ne sia iniziato a parlare un poco dal 2010 in poi, aveva 18-19 anni all'epoca quindi. Il mio primo account (giustamente) è stato sospeso perchè ho "spammato" 2 link, ma tipo 5 minuti dopo che ho inviato il link, ed il ban senza possibilità di ricorso.
Cioè Twitter ti sospende il profilo se uno fa due tweet con dei link nel giro di pochi minuti? Mah, a questo punto allora dovrebbero esserci letteralmente milioni e milioni di profili bloccati ogni ora, no? Assolutamente no ci sono account che ahnno anche 50k di tweets sullo spam delle ICO che sono "liberi". Probabilmente è lo spam di quelche progetto in blacklist a sto punto. Ieri mi hanno bloccato ancora, e il profilo era stato sbloccato neanche 3 giorni fa. A questo punto penso che il problema sia la ICO di PayEra, dopo qualche tweet con il link e hashtag mi blocca, sempre dopo quei tweet specifici, vorrei capire perché... Comunque i controllo effettuati da twitter di recente sono aumentati.
Se provo a followare una 50ina di profili, mi blocca e mi richiede sblocco per sms.
Ah ecco, allora non succede solo a me! Una volta sono strasicuro che il limite massimo fosse 1.000 all'incirca. |

Discorso di Babo che condivido. Essere un early adopter non significa essere anche un hodler. Un sacco di gente entrata davvero all'inizio quando ha iniziato a vedere i primi pump (o dump) seri ha venduto, alcuni hanno ricomprato, altri sono rimasti con quello che avevano. Se leggete un po' sul web è pieno di storie e di tweet di gente che vendeva a valori che oggi sembrano uno scherzo. Speriamo di poterci maledire pure noi tra qualche anno per aver venduto qualcosa "solamente" a 5-10-15k dollari  EDIT: ho appena scoperto un Easter egg del forum, il mio conteggio post al momento segna "leet" |

Hi Everyone,
I'm new to cryptocurrencies and would like to know your opinion on what best to do with my $6000.
I was initially planning on purchasing a GPU mining rig with gtx 1070s but then upon further research found that 1070s can only do 600-700 sol/s
Then I found the asicminer equihash which can do 40,000 sol/s and costs $14,800 which will be released on July along with new nvidia generation cards.
I know its a bit late now to start but I am really thinking hard on this but I need opinions from veteran guys.
tl:dr;
1. Should I buy bitcoin with my $6000 or
2. Use it to buy a 1070 GPU mining rig or
3. Wait until July for new nvidia graphics card to come out (or the asicminer equihash).

*Edit: Would like to inform everyone that electricity costs would not be a problem as I have a way to manage it. Considering that electricity cost is not an issue, is mining going to be profitable for me right away?
Right now the safer and easier thing to do, in my opinion, would be to buy bitcoin, not to mine them. Everybody wants to mine, too many people, I would rather spend my money and time in something else. |

Non lo toglieranno mai, lo ha detto theymos, che piuttosto toglie le firme dal forum e addio sig campaigns. Però è probabile che lo cambino quando sarà chiaro che non funziona.
Che Theymos tolga le firme dal forum non ci credo neanche se lo vedo. Saprebbe benissimo che questo forum perderebbe minimo minimo il 50% degli utenti in tempo zero e spunterebbero come funghi altri forum dove le firme sarebbero permesse, quindi sarebbe la classica zappa sui piedi. Sono tutte frasi dette per darsi un minimo di contegno, in realtà sai cosa gliene frega visto quando (non) ha fatto per il forum in tutti questi anni? Ogni volta che apro questo forum mi sembra di stare nel 2000... |

There is no risk in bank investment as they give fixed returns. But the percent return is very bad in case of banks, that is why crypto is in so much demand.
I'm not so sure that a bank investment has no risk at all, if something happens to the bank than you have lost everything, no? Of course it's not something likely to happen, but it's a possibility. |

BTC could make people more autonomous, self-resilient, being their own bank. You can use it like cash, making your transaction almost untraceable (or untraceable using e.g. monero or dash or laundry systems) : this is governments worst nightmare, isn't it ? Because to ban bitcoin they should pretty much ban the internet, and of course it's impossible. And all the countries of the world should agree, and that's something quite impossible. People would keep using anyway the bitcoin, the ban wouldn't stop them. |

Bisognerebbe capire anche quanto le campagne bounty affossino anche buoni progetti...
Dubito fortemente che le campagne bounty possano affossare (addirittura!) un progetto, vorrebbe dire che praticamente avevano messo a disposizione del bounty una % enorme di tokens e che tutti i bounty hunters sono corsi a (s)vendere non appena li hanno ricevuti. La vedo come un'ipotesi estremamente remota, se non con dei seri errori a valle. |

Io ho avuto parecchi problemi col mio account nelle ultime settimane, mi è stato bloccato almeno 4-5 volte e fin li tutto bene perché potevo sbloccarlo tramite codice ricevuto via sms, e l'sms arrivava, il problema è che giovedì scorso lo hanno bloccato ancora una volta e non c'era più l'opzione dell'sms ma solo della chiamata vocale con codice, e la chiamata non arrivava mai. Facendo una ricerca su Google una marea di gente ha avuto questo problema, l'unica possibilità è compilare questo modulo per appellarsi contro la decisione della sospensione: io in realtà non ho provato a giustificarmi, ho direttamente scritto "non posso sbloccare il profilo perché non ricevo la chiamata, cosa posso fare?" e dopo 3-4 giorni me lo hanno sbloccato automaticamente. Però non capisco davvero tutti questi blocchi che ho avuto, io alla fine di solito faccio meno di una decina di tweet al giorno e aggiungo una 40ina di persone da seguire (il limite giornaliero sarebbe 1000) quindi boh, non saprei dire perché continuino a bloccarlo. |

In Europe, I think, Switzerland is the best country for the crypto startups. They already have taken to make so many crypto friendly decision to expand its area. They are now crpto account in their banks. And these all decisions are taken by their Govt.
I agree, Switzerland is very crypto friendly and it's a good country also if you eventually need to move there. Probably in Europe is definitely the best option. |
