5081  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: March 08, 2016, 08:48:14 PM
@Tarartoor

If you go back one page you will see you where part of the house cleaning and where removed from the signature campaign.

====================================================================

A suggestion for this thread...Would be nice to make a FAQ that has all the most common questions.
We could kill most of the circle jerk talk that goes on here and force those that sit up in this thread answering dumb questions to have to post something worth a lick. End of the day if people want to answer a question that has been answered a million times they can do it through pm.

Just wanted to post about getting FAQ so anyone posting something stupid would just get the bootskis and save us all time.
I agree, it's way too much work for people trying to stop the people complaining about the damn button. If there was a 1st page faq that would be a whole lot better. It's starting to get funny how people don't read anything in a thread and post like they are the most important people in the world. Chances are, if you got a problem, other people do too. Do us a favor, READ a few pages before posting. Maybe your answer will be solved. We don't need more shitposters out there, and I bet the next housecleaning for the campaign will be MUCH bigger.
Sure, it's been a day, but I know yobit to deliver in the end. If you have a problem, leave. Simple. Nobody is forcing you to stay here, so don't pretend like you don't know that. Common sense. We all have it, it's not a talent, so USE IT.
5082  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: March 08, 2016, 12:51:34 PM
It's been quite some time that I last visited this thread and I see a lot of posters removed from the campaign, the moderator has done a great job of cleaning this campaign with spammers,I have seen a lot of one liner from my co- campaigner and it;s unfair to Yobit who always pay us on time,we really need to contribute in my case it took me the whole day just to complete all the 20 post maximum requirements,I don't post just for the sake of posting..
^ if you're gonna post, it better be good or add to the conversation or you'll be kicked. I don't just post because I want to. I post because I have something to say and I think people should know. Yobit doesn't deserve all these spammers, and if you do spam, stop. It's not good for anybody and if anything, by spamming you just ruined a perfectly good account.
5083  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BITMAIN AntRouter R1: 1st wireless networking device with bitcoin mining chip on: March 08, 2016, 12:46:05 PM
Bitmain has a bug in their firmware/cgminer implementation?  Who would have ever guessed?!

They've had errors in almost every single one of their gui's since the S1, no surprise the R1 has failings, too.

Unless the R1 is smarter than we think and only reports btc blocks found... unlikely and realistically will never be tested.

i checked the code.. it doesnt even really look like it would ever do anything. its not right.

for one thing , it only says "you have not found any blocks yet!"
it doesnt even have a you have found a block comment.

i really dont think bitmain expected this R1 to ever find a block.. yet 100s of them are mining on their pool.. which i think they are taking in the bitcoin for themselves. collectively im pretty sure its a fair amount.
yeah i know it says its solo mining.. yet its solo mining to a port that is specific for the r1, and its super easy for them to put them on any pool they want..

The R1 was probably created for bitmain so they could get a little hashrate boost on their pool while paying nothing for it. It would probably never find a block and if it ever did, it's probably not going to be a bitcoin block. They put zero effort into the R1 and they're essentially getting free hashrate from us. clap, clap.
5084  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S7 is available at bitmaintech.com with 4.86TH/s, 0.25J/GH on: March 08, 2016, 11:26:11 AM
well its been about an hour on my new s7.. temps are 56, 59, and 57. its running at stock 700..
i was going to underclock it and try to use the one 1300W psu, but i decided to run it full speed and use a 750W psu to power one of the boards instead.

it makes a wind tunnel noise, kind of hollow sounding... its nice that i fixed the howling fan, sucks i might have to get a new fan when i start up my s5 again.

i wonder if i stick some foam padding on the outside if it will quiet down the hollow sounding.
or maybe a foam padded box with fan holes. maybe just cut holes in the box it came in. if i cut the box in a H pattern i can fold in the tabs and use those as air ducts..

i saw the one post where the guy put it in a air duct.. but i dunno about that. those ducts are expensive.

The ducts are sometimes expensive but not always. You can try using a pwm fan from noctua and using that, but the cfm from those is a bit on the low side and s7s tend to not like those fans. They run real hot with those but if you hate heat, dont use em.Ducts are cheap and work well. Bitmain didn't work on cooling very well.. considering s7s are nearly the same size as s5s and s3s. They still have a good miner, but they might want to think about cooling for their future miners.
S7s under and overclock very well, so if you wanted to do that to make it quieter, it works.
5085  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitfury: "16nm... sales to public start shortly" on: March 08, 2016, 12:53:47 AM
This just in, Bitfury has tied the release date and sales of their 16nm miners to when Valve releases Half-Life 3, we should see them "any day now"!
As a CSGO semi pro (used to) and addict, I rofl'd for 3 minutes straight on that post. which is why I have a late response, lel. HL3 def coming out in the next year ( or 4), and the same goes for bitfury. We'll keep having stuff like the winter arg in steam and crap, but bitfury just keeps us hanging with nothing. it's quite sad.
5086  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S7 is available at bitmaintech.com with 4.86TH/s, 0.25J/GH on: March 08, 2016, 12:50:31 AM
Why is everybody saying PEERCOIN is up? It seems to be the same price as it was before. Its just as profitable as BTC.
People are just confused. It occasionally rises up over bitcoin, but it's generally unstable and not a good coin to mine. I'm guessing this is being fed by coinwarz.com. They're not the best source for market price but everybody seems to look at them for information. They're wrong most of the time, though.
Possibly somebody bumped market price, I dont know but i'll look into it tomorrow when I have time.
5087  Economy / Services / Re: Want to make some BTC? on: March 08, 2016, 12:44:07 AM
Please move this to the services section. I know where you thought this would go in beginners and help, but it sticks better on in services.
Of course i've also reported this thread if you don't want to move it yourself. No harm done, just think a bit harder next time. I've been in your spot before and it sometime gets confusing.
Cool service, it's a good one but I think i'll stick with a free host. The commission part is cool and i'll try to get some commissions if I can. But I really have no connections, so.. :c
i5 servers cost a bit much but compared to hosting your own its much cheaper compared to other hosts.
5088  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Safe Paypal&BTC exchange on: March 08, 2016, 12:40:55 AM
localbitcoins, straight off the top of my head. Although sometimes the prices are way higher than market, it's an easy way to get some of those delicious bits into your hand.
Be wary that some sellers will make a a delay in crediting bitcoin to your wallet. Not a big deal, but still it's a small hitch in the road.
Other than that not many other exchanges that will do this.
5089  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to earn money on: March 07, 2016, 11:38:23 PM
For me as I have observed right now I am still on stage of trying to earn and keep posting for signature campaigns. I have a low profile to get a high value of bitcoin. I am keep posting for they say this is much better by posting. I am really looking forward to earn while posting into the campaign..
Yes, paygrade gets much higher from your rank up. Member is easily reached from jr member, and likewise from member to full member. The long stretch is full member to sr member, but during that period pay almost doubles on most campaigns. Keep posting good posts and add on to the conversation. You'll get the good feeling of both helping the community and earning some bitcoin easily. As long as you don't spam, nothing will get in your way and over a long period of time, you could gain enough bitcoin to buy a miner that is profitable and start actually making bitcoins Wink
5090  Other / Off-topic / Re: Seriously they want my account? on: March 07, 2016, 11:20:23 PM
I only can admire how they have good ideas. Every day we can see new attempt and always is different.
Scammers are evolving, they becoming very good at social engineering.
Social engineers are being hired left and right with no idea what job they're going to except that they're getting paid a lot now. Scammers were never smart, they just seem to get smarter. But people are getting smarter too, so it's not really getting anywhere. Luckily we aren't as gullible as those scammers think we are so we're safe.. for now.
Just don't click on weird links. And if you feel tempted to do so, click it on a throwaway phone or something. I use a windows xp laptop to click weird links, because it was free at a garage sale and I dont care if it gets infected or dies.
5091  Other / Off-topic / Re: 50 $ in 2 hours??? on: March 07, 2016, 11:13:29 PM
50$ in 2 hours? that's pretty easy. Just go to the average survey website for the average american gullible citizen, enter your personal info, credit card number, and social security number, and you'll get 50$ sent to your credit card account and the surveyers will laugh at how gullible americans are.
Then they'll take all your cash and steal your identity and you'll end up as a hobo.
Not meant to offend anybody on this forum, it's just that so many people are gullible and don't know how to use the internet. Obviously people here can. Cheesy
5092  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitfury: "16nm... sales to public start shortly" on: March 07, 2016, 11:08:49 PM
I am still running an S1 because... I want to.
That's my man! I run a rig of 6 mixed s3/s5 because I want to and because the smell of fans and asics is so comforting. I run my miners overclocked because elctricity is no problem for me. 40% of my house is solar so the cost of those miners brings my electricity costs back to before solar. I ran a s3 at 520ghs for a while before a chip went x, then it stabilized at 470. Once you become fearless and don't care about your equipment dying, you can have some pretty fun moments where you can overclock to some ridiculous hashrate and smell the burning asics. It's fun as I said and when the new bitfury chips come out, I assure you all I will run that until it burns. and so I can breathe the amazing smell of burning electronics. S1 chips burning smells different from s5 chips burning. It's subtle but delicious.
Anyways, once a new miner with bitfury chips comes out, I will run that thing until it burns and i'll laugh at how good or bad it overclocks and i'll sell a dead pane on bitcointalk for some other chap to experiment on it. Burning chips smell so good and are so interesting...
5093  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S7 is available at bitmaintech.com with 4.86TH/s, 0.25J/GH on: March 07, 2016, 10:58:22 PM
Since no real news on Bitfury other than speculations, I might go for another 10-20 x S7.  I think Bitfury really dropped the ball by being all talk and no show of product and pricing by now.  I was saving some amperage for them but since all talk and no news, I'm going to get some more S7 instead.
It's not currently worth it for me, though. I still think i'll wait for bitfury's "chip" that might never come out. I have 0.1$/kwh electricity, and i'd lose money buying these. Still a cool product, and once price drops I might buy one of these just to experiment with these. ATM roi is impossible because of my electrixity.Cool miners, but I think i'll just mine at a loss for fun. Gotta hit a block one day, no matter how long it takes. Smiley

5096  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why did you come to Bitcointalk? on: March 07, 2016, 09:12:23 PM
The reason behind I came to bitcoin is because I really need to have an extra money to earn something during at times when I am not busy for this is an online job. This is very helpful and I am looking forward for more earnings every now and then..
It's perfectly fine to have come here to earn money unless you spam, which I have checked your posts and you don't. Yes, it provides a few dollars a day and it's beneficial for me when I really need it. It's kind of extreme to use this as a online job imo, it's not really a job but bitcointalk was created to help others and to further current projects. It's nice to have you here and have a good time Cheesy
5097  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WHICH BITCOIN WALLET IS THE MOST GOOD AND CONVINENCY on: March 07, 2016, 09:04:11 PM
I have seen most users suggesting blockchain wallet. It is really good with easy methods of accessing. Blockchain has got a very transparent transaction process than other wallets.
You can never trust any wallet provider though, so always either have a copy of the full wallet or have electrum if you don't use mining payments. Otherwise yes, blockchain is a great website and i've only had a few problems with it. I'd give them an 8/10 for good performance, but they are still far from perfect.
5098  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: CryptoLocker experiences on: March 07, 2016, 09:00:58 PM
This is why you always do a backup at least once a month, I do one every WEEK. Recently I installed a game and when I tried to uninstall it with the uninstaller it came with, the uninstaller malfunctioned and deleted EVERYTHING on my ssd and 2 hdds. I noticed halfway why it was taking so long and stopped it with task manager, but the good news was it deleted only so much and I was able to backup my pc.
NEVER PAY CRYPTOLOCKER. NO MATTER HOW GOOD YOUR FILES WERE, YOU DID NOT BACKUP YOUR PC AND YOU PAY THE PRICE. Learn the lesson and don't do it next time.
5099  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S7 is available at bitmaintech.com with 4.86TH/s, 0.25J/GH on: March 07, 2016, 08:48:50 PM
I suspect most, if not all, of the S7s they are selling right now are what they've been running in their mines for a while and so the reduced price reflects the "used" nature of the devices without them coming out and selling them as "used".  The next gen of chips in on the horizon, so they want to get as much out of these as they can.

I can't wait for the S7 used market to take off in the coming months, then I can get one.  I hope to see them around ~$200 used soon. Smiley
Me too. I am also waiting for the cheaper price to come... But considering that s5s are still commonly sold for 200$ on places like amazon and ebay, i'll expect people will start selling them for around 300$ each. I only have a budget of 200$, so if they get that cheap around july (halving will KILL prices) i'll start buying em.
Profit per day is sharply dropping, so I expect that these cheaper batches are just a result of bitmain trying to offload their current s7s. If these come in to people used, don't be surprised. You got them for cheap for a reason, but there is still a warranty, so it's still a good deal.. at least for now. The difficulty drop could have been because antpool unplugged their s7s to get them up for sale. Purely speculation though.
5100  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: March 07, 2016, 08:44:47 PM
People, just calm down and wait. Spamming about the button will get you removed from the campaign. Yes, it may be every monday, but seriously, no other campaign has such high pay with daily payments. Think about their fees with each transaction. There HAS to be something else for you to do on this forum other than to spam about this button. The reason many people have been kicked is partially because they have been spamming about the button. If people would stop talking about it, it would be better for everyone because every time, this issue has been fixed within 2 days. So please, stop.
