OK.. let's take the American budget as an example. Here:

As you can see, defense and veterans affairs make up 20% of the total spending. Treasury amounts for another 14%.
They are spending whole 20% on social security and only 3% on education. Isn't this a great way to have a society full of dumb and lazy people?
Benefits were always the easiest way to bribe voters.
5082  Other / Politics & Society / Re: If nuclear war broke out where's the safest place on Earth? on: December 30, 2016, 12:37:02 PM
Benyamin nettanyaou or the Bushes suitcases.. Grin

Yeah... Benjamin Netanyahu will be the first prime minister to die in case of a nuclear war. Israel is surrounded on all sides by hostile nations. The only question is from where the nuclear attack will come from. It can either come from Saudi Arabia, or it can be from Iran.
Do you really think they have no bunkers in Israel?
You don't need much to survive a nuclear blast, in most cases an underground tunnel or a car park should suffice. 3-4 miles from the ground zero you can survive in a normal basement. A high end fallout bunker can survive a direct hit, meaning that it can be inside the ground zero. Of course it all depends on the size of the warhead.

5083  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "We got hacked" coming ! on: December 30, 2016, 12:13:57 PM
Mt Gox was a mystery. I think it is hacked from inside. Even before the big hack happening, there are numerous small accounts get hacked and bitcoins from these accounts are transferred away. I am sure some employees did these, if not with the company itself.

From what I have heard, the problems with Mt Gox actually started in 2011, only a few months after Jed McCaleb sold the site to Mark Karpeles. Since there were no audits, this wasn't detected until February 2014.
Karpeles was already a scammer when he moved to Japan. I read about him running away with the money when his employer fell ill. Then he failed to properly secure the site and lost a lot of coins, but still continued to take deposits, hoping that future clients will help him recover. He also liked the expensive stuff: apartments with a view and prostitutes... And did I mention stealing? He also liked that.
5084  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is taxation theft? on: December 30, 2016, 11:23:07 AM
I think minimal taxes equals a night-watchman state with high social tensions and in the end, wealth being accumulated by the few lucky individuals. Higher taxes can be used to distribute some of the wealth for the poor. I'm not talking about full-scale socialism. But I understand this kind of idea is probably not very popular in the US where there's still a culture of a mythical self-made success even though it's being made almost impossible for the poor people of the society. Money is being printed out as much as it's being needed so it's not really about lack of funds to have a few social programs for the poor. But the current situation, "the central banking socialism", where the printed money is being given straight to the top 1% and then others have to get by on what's left is totally unsustainable. But it's done on purpose, to destroy the system completely from inside to take control of everything.
This idea is unpopular everywhere, not only in the US. Don't mix in helping the poor (charity) with a socialist redistribution of wealth. Taking money from the rich to give to the poor is theft. I'm not a rich person myself, but I'm against it. Give people free money because they are poor and they will stay poor. Do you really think that giving a poor family benefits of $200 a month is going to change something? Make them start their own business for instance or start looking for a job? You have to give them means to support themselves, the rod not the fish.
5085  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: December 30, 2016, 11:07:12 AM
I think the crash will come, but that is not that high because the value is still low and many people are hoping that the value is going to be high so they can sell it.
They are hoping for it to break $1000. Predictions are great and hopes are high, we might really see it. Not in 2016, like some people suggest ( http://www.coindesk.com/will-bitcoin-surpass-1000-2016/ ), but certainly in 2017.
5086  Other / Meta / Re: Dear signature spammers... (or account farmers.) -- Read the STATS inside. on: December 29, 2016, 04:45:34 PM
You guys just don't get it.  These aren't mere individuals spamming the forum for pennies as said.  This is a professionally run operation.  Don't believe me?  Read this article then.  I'm sure there's one or two operating in this forum right now.

The Bot Bubble:  Click Farms Have Inflated Social Media Currency
https://newrepublic.com/article/121551/bot-bubble-click-farms-have-inflated-social-media-currency

So the signature campaigns aren't really the problem.  The buying and selling of accounts are.  The sig campaigns just happen to be there for them to make a little extra.
Two words: free market. Forum pays for signatures, people start abusing it and making more accounts to earn more money. Same thing happened with Youtube and Facebook likes, solving captchas and many more.
The article is interesting, but this is only one of the many similar companies. I remember reading about a government agency in Russia, that was using the same tactic to influence forums.
5087  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Which would you rather have, feminism or cancer? on: December 29, 2016, 04:38:38 PM
I'd rather have feminism, at least I can ignore that, but I can't ignore cancer. I'm all about gender equality. If a woman wants to do a man's job, be my guest. You want to wear pants, be a soldier or provide for the family while your man stays at home with kids? Please do, just don't come crying when you feel tired and dirty or somebody at work made a pass and you feel molested.
5088  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Cowardice of the U.S.A. on: December 29, 2016, 04:14:32 PM
For all the talk of bravery, people of the u.s. are some of the biggest most pathetic cowards.  Actions speak louder than words.

What actions are you talking about? You mean like when they saved the world from tyranny in 1945?

Are you smoking weed? Or high on meth?

Seems like you need some lessons in history. It was the Soviet Union and China, which saved the world from tyranny in 1945.
I'd say you're smoking weed, but you're most likely uneducated. If you want to give lessons in history first take some yourself. Here is a small list of events you should read about.
Start with The Battle of Leyte Gulf and Operation Overlord, both great battles, undoubtedly among the biggest events that turned the tables of WWII.
Quote
The Americans did nothing, other than dropping nukes and killing civilians when Japan was about to surrender.

About to surrender? And who did they want to surrender to and why? The Americans did nothing, so who defeated the biggest navy in the world? China? Cheesy

Maybe they recently bombed his neighborhood in the MusrallahFasallah village and he lost his favourite goat Cheesy

On topic. I'd say IS is the (although formally unrecognized) nation of evil. Who's with me?
5090  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is taxation theft? on: December 29, 2016, 03:50:13 PM
How brainwashed some of you are... You think there would be chaos without taxes. No there wouldn't be. Did Native Americans have taxes? No. Was there chaos? No.
But the roads... What people need, people make. People needed cars, they invested their money and made more cars to satisfy their needs. Same thing would happen with roads police and other services.
What governments can't accept is that people are different, some are more productive and intelligent than others. Governments want to impose fake equality, to make all people contribute, even if they are dumb, uneducated or lazy. This only brings those people deeper into poverty and sometimes makes them break the law or start living in the street.

There is a way to make taxes just. For instance property tax is just IMO. You choose a country you want to live in and you can check how much you will have to pay each year for living there. This amount should be constant, no matter if you have a business or just prefer to drink vodka and watch the clouds go by. This would be your contribution to the services provided by State.
Income tax is unjust, because it punishes the innovative, people who are working their asses off every day. The more they work, the more the government takes.

Do you have still slot available for this campaign, I was hoping to apply if there is. Please inform me about this matter, thanks in advance!
ATM all 5 full member slots are taken. Keep checking though, sometimes people resign or get kicked due to a ban or a negative trust.

5092  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2016 rally is led by India on: December 26, 2016, 04:15:28 PM
Reason of the spike of 2013 is generally attributed to China, as BTCC was leading the CNY price, which was followed by Mt. Gox in USD equivalent.

In 2016, because of demonetization, bitcoin was trading over 900 USD equivalent in India far before the USD exchanges reached 900 USD.

Hence, do u think, it can be concluded that India led the rally of 2016, like China led the rally of 2013?

That's unfair. China has the major role in the current years rally. India at the end of the year led to a rise due to the demonetisation that started few weeks back. India holds the strategy of around 25%, where china leads with the increased mining comparatively.

I dont agree with you let it be that China is playing major role in current year but the rally led in november have pushed the bitcoin price past $900+ is due to the Indian buying hardly in bitcoin due to demonetization, it is not that who is playing how many days but it is who is giving a great impact and i think this time India have done the major part because when the international market price of bitcoin was $730 that time in india exchange it went above $1000+ and after some time this rally interested in international market and in only 30 days the price of bitcoin went high up to $900+

What are you talking about? You don't agree with the facts or what? The price has nothing to do with a country leading the rally. You can have Bitcoin trading for 1,5K USD in Zimbabwe and it won't mean anything if it's a single transaction a day. Just some numbers for you:

The highest volume was on the 23rd of December.
Bitfinex had the volume of 24k BTC Bitstamp 17k, Coinbase 14k... This should give you a rough estimation of how much money is going through the major Western exchanges a day.
Now, let's check the East. BTC china had a volume of 4.6M (!) and Huobi 3.5M.
The smallest of the three, Okcoin had 3M, which is over 20 times more than all the other exchanges in the world combined.

5093  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Rally! Keep hold your coins! watch that chart 1200$ soon. on: December 26, 2016, 03:58:10 PM
WE going high! Trump is on! no worries!
Chart: http://bitcoinchart.io/#trump-china-chart

It's very likely we'll break that $1200 and OP's prediction comes true, but I really doubt it has something to do with Trump. The market in the US is not the biggest one and it doesn't matter who sits in the Oval Office. Sure it can influence the price, but Trump hasn't established any Bitcoin laws yet.
5094  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Berlin: at least nine dead after truck crashes into Christmas market on: December 26, 2016, 03:42:15 PM
Nothing is going to happen. A year back, hundreds of German women were groped and molested by these barbarians in Cologne and the other major cities. There was no backlash from the German men. Last month, the daughter of an European Union official was raped and murdered by a rapefugee. Once again, there was no reaction from the natives.

Just you wait. New Year's Eve in Cologne is coming. I'm sure rapefugees are already rubbing their dicks at the thought of it. Last hope for the Germans is in the form of their once hated NDP, that is getting more and more support due to Merkel's ignorance.
5095  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: December 26, 2016, 03:35:10 PM
Only desperate drug addicts or psychotics think about robbing banks.  Not nearly enough money there to make it worth while.

Not only that. Banksters are among the worst robbers out there. They rob hardworking people of their money, in the form of mortgage and loans. How can anyone dare to rob these thieves?
Governments are the worst robbers. They make up various taxes with different names and stack them on top of each other, so dumb people don't see they have to pay 50% tax on a product, because it's only 20% income tax and 20% VAT and 10% excise.
5096  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AntMiner S7: electricity bill on: December 26, 2016, 02:56:05 PM
Check if your government offers grants for people going green. In Europe you can easily get 30% or more of the initial investment returned either in the form of grants or tax exemptions.
If you're choosing between wind and solar, first check which will be more efficient in your location. How many hours of sunlight are you getting per day, how powerful are the winds. For instance, if you're located on a hill or close to the sea you'll get stronger winds.
5097  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: December 26, 2016, 02:49:12 PM
In my humble opinion it's going to be a great year for Bitcoin. Historically 2012 was good, 2013 was great, 2014 was shit, probably the worst year, second half of 2015 and first half of 2016 were decent, it was obvious the confidence started to build up after the long decline of 2014 and of course the second half of 2016 was great, taking us back to the 2013 highs.
I predict 2017 will be good and we'll reach a new all time high. We'll probably crash after reaching it, but it's to be expected.
5098  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make 17 BTC out of 7 BTC ? on: December 25, 2016, 08:23:16 PM
Does someone has any suggestions how to make 17 BTC with 7 BTC starting capital in short period of time?
There is no sure way to earn that amount of money in a very short period without risks the only way that i could think of that can double your money by nearly 100% are gambling which is very very risky , and trading which is the best option especilay if you use the 1 min trading in some sites , i earned a lot from those.
The only way to make 17 out of 7 in a short time is to engage in some illegal activity like black market trading or smuggling. Think about it, we're not even talking about doubling the investment. Sites that say you'll get ROI in a month are shown as examples of pyramid schemes and he's asking for a way to get over 2 times more. It's good to dream though.
5099  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive Income on: December 25, 2016, 05:40:34 PM
Well, signature campaigns are a really good way for passive incomes, if you consider that. But for you to really gain something, you need to have a good rank, a good posting quality and also try to join a decent paying trusted campaign. Thats really the way to go. Otherwise, I can recommend you to write articles, post in the services section to get hired, you might get good amounts for some decent quality articles.

Passive income is something you earn doing nothing, Signature Campaign isn't passive income, you need to be active on forum, read many threads, spend time writing, viewing the links another people post.

Investments that generate you income without any effort from your side is passive income. Like when you let your money at the bank and they pay you interest every month. The profit from passive income is usually very low and only is useful to let your savings generating some profit, as people say: better than nothing.

I agree with this comment, passive income is the profit obtained by forming an active network. So we do not work hard anymore. The word passive income often encountered in multi-level marketing. If we discuss it for earnings youtube, blogs, and others, for example, we post content 10-100, and we do not need to post again, after that, we get unlimited earning from visitors who click on our ads forever.

Even if you post 10 to 100 posts on your blog or youtube channel, you need to always need to add fresh content. Otherwise, the traffic will diminish and your income will reflect it, you can have a passive income from the type of website. But you always need to continue to provide value for your audience.

blogs is just too mush of an effort to maintain every week. you can't auto this becuase search engine bots like google's are pretty mush smarter than what it was on 2008. fresh contents may not even be enough now, it also needs SEO or die outranked by competitors.

Yup, despite what you might think blogs require a lot of money to be put into them before one can profit. Most of the big, well known ones aren't maintained by a single person, but by a group of people. Professionals have their own photographers, stylists and programmers. They just come up with the idea and write an article, the rest is done by their staff.
5100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Very little Press Coverage of Bitcoin's Rally this time on: December 25, 2016, 05:36:06 PM
lots of crazy stuff happening, so they don't look at BTC too much

you know, Trump, planes crashing, Aleppo, terrorist attacks, and all sort of things

And a Russian plane crashing with no survivors...
Maybe it's nothing special and unexpected and that's why there's not that much press. 2 years ago people were expecting Bitcoin to break ATH and it made us wait for so long. When it happens there's going to be a lot of press, I promise you.
