5081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 21, 2022, 10:33:15 AM
Indiana Pacers have been on a really great run in the recent times. They played two really tough away games consecutively and managed to win both of them. First, they defeated Lakers and last night they managed to defeat Warriors by 121-117. Curry played really superbly this time and did everything he could to carry his team to a victory. He got 39 points but still couldn't help for a win. Because the rest of the players were too ineffective. Thompson is still recovering now.
Well, I thought that they are going to win the game because they have a 3 point lead, with less than 10 seconds to go. But Holiday drain a 3 in the corner to tie the score and they failed on the next possession. And in the overtime, they've missed a lot of shots that could have made them the winner in this game. Congrats to Pacers, back to back win, it's tough but still they got the W and it's huge.

Really amazes me how the Pacers steal this one for the Warriors. From the beginning, you can see that it will be really close as the Warriors didn't take a good lead in this game. And it compounded them with the way they shoot, it was really horrendous that Curry was the only one hitting 3's for the first 3 quarters. And Poole and Wiggins and JTA can't produce enough score to help the team. Klay played too but he wasn't a factor as well. It was just Curry who carry the team but it was not enough. And what a game from Duarte, this rookie is for real, hitting tough shots with good body control.

Ayos tuloy tuloy lang ang panalo natin, as usual pahinga pahinga muna ako.

Bukas heto nasisilip ko:

GSW vs Pacers - since the home court to ng GSW -11.5 ako sa kanila.
NYK vs Hornets - parehas na struggling team, pero sa NYK ako -3.5.

Kursunada ko tong dalawang laro na ito kaya sasabayan na kita sa dalawang ito.

Knicks -4.5 @1.93 vs Pelicans, struggling itong Pelicans at inconsistent pa kaya Knicks is a good choice since they are playing at home this time.

5083  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade-in between the lines on: January 20, 2022, 11:24:46 AM
That is quite simple to understand that trading in now a days is even difficult to do, even the top traders can't predict that much because we didn't know about the crypto and most probably the bitcoin whenever it falls or it rises, but the same thing a trader should always ready for the loss, which he not intended to make but was in fortune, then it would be better to trade.
In recent days the market is not good, a lot of FUD that makes Bitcoin fall. Momentum like this is very good to take advantage of, buying at a lower price. If most people are currently stuck at high prices, of course some traders who have done the analysis and have spare money will take advantage of this bear market situation well. It all depends on readiness and good capital management, otherwise trading will only leave you restless.

I'm not really sure if there is FUD, but the news says that the mining hash rate is dropping because of the Kazakhstan turmoil. There is political unrest, resulting in nation wide black out and so the mining is affected due to this. So this is not FUD but real news, as far as I'm concern. But yeah, when the price drops, it's always a good opportunity to buy and invest and hold.

5085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Thurman vs Barrios - Feb 5 on: January 20, 2022, 07:03:28 AM
WBC Pres Sulaiman said it's not final

Quote
“It’s an official WBC [eliminator], not final,” Mauricio Sulaiman, longtime WBC president informed Boxingscene.com in clarifying the matter.

https://www.boxingscene.com/wbc-president-thurman-barrios-an-official-eliminator-not-final--163542

So it's better for Thurman and Barrios not to think about it as this could put pressures on either of them. Just play with it and go and fight and see who is going to win. And maybe we wait what will be the WBC's decision after the fight.
5086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 20, 2022, 06:18:14 AM
I'm taking the Cavaliers @1.67, they're kind of hot and in pretty good shape as of late while the Bulls are on a losing streak.

On top of that LaVine and Ball are out for the Bulls even if they have a solid record at home it's still gonna be tough when you're missing some key players.

I'm avoiding the spread and stick with the moneyline since the Cavs winning margin on the road has been pretty close.

Unfortunately, the Bulls avoiding a 5 game winning streak with a huge win against the Cavs 117-104.

DeRozan do his usual 30 ppg, but it was Dosunmu with a huge 18 points and 8 assists to cover for Lavine's absence. I guess playing at home really help the Bulls to get another L right now, and maintain a slim lead on top of the East.

Yes, it seems that the Bulls doesn't want to extend their losing streak at home.
So even face with a tough opponent in Cavs, the manage to win with DeRozan taking over the team with the help from Vucevic, White and Dosunmu.

Interesting games between the Lakers and Pacers, I got Pacers +1.5 at 1.94 live betting. Let's see how it goes.

Good bet on the Pacers, I also have a live bet but it was on ML for the Pacers, just a bit higher than yours, nevertheless it's a good win for us.

At one time the Lakers took a huge lead, at 16 points, but Lakers opted to play small and Sabonis at times take advantage of that.
5087  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gary Russell vs Mark Magsayo WBC Featherweight Title on: January 20, 2022, 05:52:30 AM
It seems that Russell has injury going into the fight:

Quote
The long-reigning WBC featherweight champion revealed during an appearance Wednesday on “The DAZN Boxing Show” that he is suffering from “a little slight injury” that he declined to disclose. Russell will end almost a two-year layoff on Saturday night and already has dealt with the foot amputation that has prevented his father, who is his longtime trainer, from properly helping him prepare for this fight.

https://www.boxingscene.com/gary-russell-i-little-slight-injury-elaborate-magsayo-fight--163547

So physically and mentally Russell is on a turmoil, not saying that he is going to lose, he doesn't want to disclose his injury but Magsayo might take advantage of it, maybe it was a shoulder injury or something so we have to look at how the fight might turn out. Maybe he won't be as fast as before because of the undisclosed injury. So Magsayo will have to take advantage of it.
5088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Growth of Bitcoin? on: January 18, 2022, 04:11:43 AM
El Salvador has legalised bitcoin and just for a thought I was evaluating that the country purchased btc in 30k range and after a few weeks purchased in 50k range and now it's dumping and again seems to touch 30/40 k range. Such a huge volatility means big players are manipulating bitcoin. So is that good for motivating other countries to make it legal tender as currency? The whales have deep roots in btc and it will always be a drawback for the organic growth of Bitcoin. And donot forget blockchain technology is known by bitcoin! Am I right?

Why we always equate about the price going down to manipulation? Maybe it's obvious that it's not only whales are selling, even average joe and retail investors are. And regarding El Salvador's purchases, I think the President took the risk to invest and legalised bitcoin so we can't blame him for that though. Bitcoin has been and always volatile regardless if there is manipulation or not.
5089  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gary Russell vs Mark Magsayo WBC Featherweight Title on: January 18, 2022, 02:52:40 AM
Magsayo's recent interview:

Quote
“I learned a lot from that fight,” Magsayo admitted during a recent Zoom media conference call to otherwise discuss the fight with Russell. “I learned a lesson how to better box. I made an adjustment in the middle of the fight and knocked him out.”

https://www.boxingscene.com/magsayo-learned-lot-from-ceja-fight-i-win-fight-gary-russell--163491

Talking about his last fight with Ceja, wherein he was behind the judges scorecard so he needs to come back and win it by KO which he eventually scored that's why he is not facing Ceja.

And he told the media that he has learned a lot from that match and that he should really engage early and not let the fight slip, specially that he is facing a great champion in Russell. So he needs to be focus and concentrate from the opening bell.
5090  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2022 bear market? on: January 17, 2022, 02:01:11 PM
As we have seen the bull market of 2021, history has shown there to be a following of a bear market in the next year (2022). What are your thoughts so far and how do you believe it will play out.

I think the bear market is still just starting, btc should now be around 16-22k on average price until 2025.

Your thoughts?

And where is your great analysis about why the Bitcoin price should be at 16-22K right now?
The current Bitcoin price is what it is.Everything else is just wishful thinking and/or FUD.

Not defending the guy, but we can have our own opinion and we can argue against it. I'm not also sure if $16k-$22k will be the lows for this year. But we will see.

Nobody can say when the bearish market will occur.Maybe we are in a bearish market right now,or maybe the bearish market will happen, when price drops below 40K or 30K.
There's no guarantee that the Bitcoin price is moving in cycles. The BTC price is determined mostly by supply and demand, not by some imaginary cycles. There are some other factors, which can influence the price, but most of them are temporary-crypto whales buying and selling, bullish or FUD news about Bitcoin, crypto miners being kicked out by some country, etc.

I guess we should look at the bright side. If the price goes bearish, then it's time to accumulate and buy a lot of bitcoin. I'm talking about my first bulls/bears experience. When I did see the bearish trend in 2018, I don't know what to do, although I did buy some, I should have totally focus on bitcoin and try to accumulate as many as I can. So that is my target if the bearish market starts this year.
5091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Always do Some Research Before You Start Staking on: January 17, 2022, 01:12:21 PM
As you have said, not just in staking but in all others that involved crypto, there will always be scammers and shady characters behind because they know they can hide within the confines in the space of "pseudo-anonymity" argument.

Initially there are a lot of staking exchanges that is reputable but lately, some shady exchanges popping up like mushrooms and take advantage of the whole staking game and netting a lot of noobs and pulling a rug pull.
5092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gary Russell vs Mark Magsayo WBC Featherweight Title on: January 17, 2022, 12:31:39 PM
^^ Not sure if he will go win an interpreter or not, Manny didn't got one and when Jim or Larry interview him after the fight, you will see the awkwardness in the post fight interview until Pacquiao improves his English hehehe.

So it will be a long way to go for Magsayo, he really needs to win this fight to be in the discussion and will really raise his stocks in the featherweight and maybe faces Leo Sta Cruz or just the recent upset winner Kiko Martinez. So very promising for Magsayo if he wins against Russell.
5093  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When Bull Market will Start on: January 17, 2022, 11:33:52 AM
The new ath will coming soon because if we imagine the current week is almost better than the previous week.so I hoped market will go up to high in these coming days
It's more of that we're not going to see any ATH for this year but that is because we're not seeing some quick ramps this time.

I'm also looking forward for it to happen but I don't want to have that expectation for a higher price more than the last ATH. It's likely that $70k should be the next ATH or more than that for it to break the last ATH.

Give time to the market and it's going to be more than that it was. If it won't be in another ATH for this year, we've been patient enough and been tested by time to wait until it happens.

As others have said, patience is the key, so we need a lot of that specially with the current situation that we are in. Although it really surprises me that the market is still above $40k despite being so bearish after the Christmas season.

So maybe there is still some hope for the market to bounce back and even reach a new new all time high of $70k this year. We just need to be optimistic that in the next coming months, a recovery is on the way.
5094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 17, 2022, 11:01:08 AM
game: Pistons vs Phoenix

I will trust the Phoenix to win on the road again.

They beat the Pacers (W 112 - 94) on their last game, and I think Pistons is just like the Pacers, or even worst, so I expecf the same result.

My pick : Phoenix -12.

Congrats mate, spread was indeed big but they covered it and dominate the Detroit Pistons. The result was 135-108 in our favor.
As expected they didn't had a hard time and certainly that wasn't tough one beating the Pistons, congrats again! Now the Suns are standing tall in the league with an almost .800 win percentage.

I also have the same bet with you mate, -11.5 for me. I said it might be difficult for the Suns to cover but in the end they can really do it and that's what happen here, even if they played on the Pistons homecourt, their competitiveness is very high specially Booker. It's also a high scoring game which really gives the Suns the advantage because this is their type of play.

So congrats to everyone who won in this game.
5095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 17, 2022, 10:34:46 AM
It's really interesting as where Simmons will go, I guess some of us wanted to see him play this season.

We are about to find out soon, hopefully in a team that has a chance to be in the playoffs so we will see him play against his former team and I would be happy if he can prove them wrong in making a decision to trade him. With a talent like his, he deserves to be in a good team and I hope that will happen so soon.

Well its good if some playoff contender team will get him, nevertheless a losing team this season will not be bad for Ben, as long as he can play.

Then start a clean slate next season with a new team, form a bond during off-season and then proved that the Sixers make a bad decision (although Ben has partly to blame with his current situation with the team).
5096  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: January 17, 2022, 09:47:02 AM

5097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Thurman vs Barrios - Feb 5 on: January 16, 2022, 12:11:20 PM
Thurman is taking a different approach in this fight and base on this interviews this is what he has to say specially about the demand for boxing for a PPV:

Quote
“All other contact sports have found a way to reduce the contact in the sport. Not boxing. Not boxing, not UFC, because we are the original contact sport. We are the only real contact sport that is still alive, still living still breathing. yes, the referee will jump and stop the fight, yes the referee is in there to protect the fighter and fighters in today’s generation are taking a little bit less damage. But there is no sport like boxing. every punch to the head is a mild concussion. We know that. And so for me to be here to be speaking full sentences to you right now is a blessing from above.

“That’s why we’re going to keep striving, living this dream, putting ourselves on the line, knowing that one day we don’t know what’s gonna happen when we step out of the ring. I wanna see my family, I wanna hold my child, I want to be able to talk to her and talk to my family, but we don’t know. So when fighters say that they’re done, they’re done and we salute them and we respect them for what they put into this ring, you know?”

https://www.boxingscene.com/thurman-makes-case-pay-per-view-no-sport-like-boxing-every-punch-head-mild-concussion--163457

He also touch the subject that he is not done with the sports and that he still has some in his tank.

So we will see if this is true the fight will happen less than a month from now so for sure we fans are very excited for this fight.
5098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 16, 2022, 11:31:43 AM
What a game between the Bulls and the Celtics, I thought that the Bulls are going to take the win already. But they melt down with less than a minute to go, failed to score while the Celtics, with Robert Williams hitting 4 crucial free throws. They have been in the lead most of the time when the Bulls comes back late in the 3rd and took the 4th quarter. But they have enough gas to push and a hard fought win for the Celts.
Those 2 turnovers at the final minute of the game is very huge because the Celtics converted it into points and yes those 4 free throws by Williams sealed the deal.
You can also in his face a bit of a pressure because his free throw will dictate the outcome of the game.

A blooper has been made when one announcer thought that it will go to Overtime where in fact the Celtics win. The Announcers are in another world Cheesy. Now the Bulls are in a 3 game losing streak and 0.5 games behind Brooklyn who is in 2nd. With the absence of Lavine for a brief moment, I think that Bulls will not hold the top spot for some time. Seeing the current standings and the top 4 in the East all have 27 wins so there is a chance that we might see new team at the top after a few games.

^ It was such a close game. Firstly congrats to the Celtics for the win. I thought that the Bulls might win this match but the Celtics proved me wrong. It all came down to the last minutes of the game and this is the type of game we want to see more. Nail-biting and thrilling - not knowing till the last second who would win. Both the teams played really well IMO.

^ players from the Celtics hit the double-digit mark and the trio of Derozan, Vucevic, and Dosunmu scored 20+ points for the Bulls. The last two turnovers were quite the most impactful event in the match as I think that is a big reason why the Celtics won.

Yeah, that turnover and then Celtics scoring a goal and the free throws was the crucial pieces on their win. I also thought that the Bulls have this one and has control of the game, but when I came back to check the scores, the Celtics won and I have to check the highlights and see what went wrong with the Bulls. Dosunmu really played very good in this game maybe he will be given more time in the absence of Zach Lavine because they needed another scorer.
5099  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: January 16, 2022, 10:54:25 AM

Goodluck at sana swertihin tayo.
5100  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Fear Index at 10 on: January 15, 2022, 03:38:21 PM
Fear is low, will take another 20-30% correction to get the panic selling started. Lots of people got in on the bull run and really think the total crypto market cap can double or even triple in the coming months.
I don't know about that but I think that people are starting to panic sell already if not have done it already, pretty sure that a lot have panic sold when bitcoin dipped in 40k but you're right that it's a bit low but a low fear index don't mean that there's not a lot who has already sold. Hopefully many people deserving of profit, get something out of this current situation.
The question is why? Are they panicking over Omicron? Well, that's something panicking about but I think people should know in the first place that even at the start of the pandemic Bitcoin has been x30 up during that dip and if they ever sold then it's another mistake from paper hands. I am hoping this is just a bear trap or something and having this extreme fear may consider a buying opportunity as well.

It's normal though, I mean it is a new variant much worst that Delta so it's new and people are going to panic because it's unknown and we don't know the effects of it. So the market was really affected by it and we are still in the process of recovery, but it will take some time though as the sentiments of the market or the fear index is 10 as per OP. Although they tool is not to be used as a gauge in my opinion.
