I have convinced myself that the NBA regular season and post season are CANCELLED. due to the rising number of infected people in the USA.
Just want to clarify something, what do you guys thinking? The whole NBA season will be just postponed or cancelled already? If the latter one hapoens, then who is gonna be the proclaimed champion? I am curious about this issue because recently I saw a post on FB (one of sport related pages out there) that if NBA failed to continue the season then they will go with the point system something like that thus Lakers will be the overall champion. Is it a rule? How true this is? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) No, it doesn't work that way, it will be unprecedented not just on basketball but the whole of sporting worlds. Games need to be settled to declare as who is the champion. It might take months before we can see an NBA games or even years. But the point is that the champion need to earn it and not be awarded without any competition. So we might as well wait till the dust have settled on the US right now as they have been hit very hard by the Covid-19 pandemic.

I'm sorry but it looks like you have been scammed. So I doubt that someone here in the community can help you out. I do hope that it's not that big money involved here, otherwise its really going to be an expensive lessons on your part to learn. And with the current situation that we are in right now, I doubt that those scammers are going to return back your money. So I'm sorry for your loss, I know it's a tough one, but you have to move forward and learn from it.

Ok looking at the current price, bitcoin has just broken a big mental barrier of $7k. So obviously, we are moving away from the $3k price and we already doubled it by today's price. So I don't see the price falling to that level again. And with the block halving approaching, perhaps we have a chance that investors are going to flock again. I'm not saying that we should invest today, but smart investors are way ahead of the game and know when to enter specially that we are just months away from the block halving.

How long have you been in the crypto sphere though? I assume that you still have some in your wallet as savings or investment? And you can used it as a hedge in this looming financial crisis. But I agree about that strategy, I call it NPA or Non Performing Assets, I usually sell them if it just sits on my house. But I don't know if this is enough to cover, let's say bring food in the table. Unless you did have a bucket in your bank account for like six months. The only thing that I can think of is that if you have cryptos then you don't have any choice but to sell them in order to survived in this crisis. Best of luck to you.

And maybe the hospital are forced to pay because they are afraid that they are going to be sued by their patience because of the 'doctor-patient confidentiality". So just imagine if the medical records of that hospital leaks on the internet and used as a tool to destroy others. I think one problem is that the health industry computer systems are not that updated that's why it is easy for the hackers to exploit. And it is more evident in this Covid-19 pandemic as many hackers are easily breaking on hospital systems because of that loophole. Microsoft is Alerting Hospitals Vulnerable to Ransomware Attacks.

Does it matter? That dude wants to stay off the public stream. I think we can all do him a favour and stop bringing up topics about him. At least he has left us a legacy we should be proud of and also be more focused on developing and building for the world to use. i don't know how talks about his whereabouts is going to do us any good or the development of blockchain technology in the near future.
I agree, at this point?? it really doesn't matter if he is alive or deceased. What's important is that his invention had flourished with or without him. Heck, there are speculations that there is a probability that it is a group of person so any theory that he is deceased doesn't hold any weight. And the good thing is that there are people who are willing to continue his legacy so that we all can enjoy bitcoin for the next years to come regardless if he is dead or not.

This is a very well known fraudulent practice by scammers and criminals. As far as I can remember, there have been thousands of youtube accounts being hacked since last year of September. And those criminals turn this channels to create fake giveaways. Yes, they issue the first ban in December, but it didn't stop because up to know, you can go to Youtube and search for fake Binance or Elon Musk or Vitalik Buterin and you will still see a lot of fake giveaways still plowing on their platform. So it is about time that Youtube will have to take a closer look again.

Agree, it brings some nostalgic to us, specially from generations who have experienced their game. So let's see how their token will bring benefits to the crypto gaming. It is interesting though that they have chosen this niche. I can also speculate that they know that crypto gaming or gambling is a billion dollar industry. And with the name "Atari", they can really attract gamblers to used their token.

Invest what you can afford to lose.
If you follow this philosophy then you won't simply be affected by the price changes. It will be a continuous trend, someone is selling because they needed fiat at this time. Those who have plenty of money can buy in this dip, simply as that. So no one can really answer as whether we are going to buy or sell, it is up to the individual themselves, specially with the risk involved with the corona virus pandemic.

I am damn sure the price of BTC will reach atleast 12k before halving. Just have some patience and wait..
we can't wait too much, it's only 39 days before the halving - https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/bitcoin-clock/The world is still in panic right now, it's a big hindrance for us achieving that good price, we might see the price slowly recovers but to pump that high, I am not sure now as anything there could be another dump because the economy is getting worst and that information could be use by whales to cause some big panic again. I think there are a lot of people who really wanted to see the price to go to at least 5 digit, but because of the Covid-19 the price sinks to its lowest this year and we are having a hard time to even break $7k today because of the continuous selling as people needed money at this time. Yes, we are close to halving, almost a month now, but I don't think that $12k is possible before the halving because the pandemic is still spreading very fast and this could put a pressure to most crypto investors to still sell just to be able to survived right now.

I heard a ledger chrome extension have stolen up to 2.5million in crypto, Users are asked to input their 24-word seed, which allows scammers access to the wallet’s contents. This is why I hate add-ons for chrome or Firefox, they aren't safe at all but how come people are falling for this cheap trick that have been around since years ago now?
Not just ledger but trezor as well, chrome extensions are very dangerous because we don't know if the app is malicious or not. In the case of crypto, there are still thousands in google web store still in the wild, When will people learn?
In a perfect world, no one should really fall for this cheap trick. However, human stupidity is one subject that we can't really understand. How in the hell you are sharing all of your 'secret' phases? That's why it is secret and you need to take care of it and not just blindly entering it to a website or apps that you didn't even bother to check?

Gambling is not a very nice advice to multiply as you know it's purely based in luck and randomness. It's either you will loss more without really earning anything or worse you could loss all your money. There are tons of information in the topic, and it's confusing. You could just list the methods and add description so it's easy to read.
But the idea is the fastest way, not the safest way right? If the only factor to take into account was the fastest way, then gambling is indeed the way, if you are lucky that is. Besides, even if you answer investing, in one way or another, that could also be considered as a gamble since investing has a 50 50 chance of you winning or losing. And comparing winning to losing, winning has a larger margin needed to exceed compared to losing after all. If it was a constant way for BTC though, I might've answered mining. Though it depends on the number of mining machines a person could provide, but well, its one idea out there. As the saying goes, "haste makes waste", so I wouldn't even think that gambling is the safest way to multiply our bitcoin because of the risk. That's why we preach that we need a lot of patience in this crypto sphere, specially if you chooses to be a hodler. And for me this is by far the safest and most effective way, specially if you don't like gambling or trading. By in dip, stay focus, don't panic and keep your bitcoin in a safe device and secure it.

Speaking of Casimero, he wanted to go home to Philippines with his family. However, he is afraid that he might get the virus in the US. I can't blame him though, he is away from his family and he just wanted to make sure that everything is ok down in the Philippines. On the other hand, he is torn leaving the US because he might be infected along the way. The 31-year-old Casimero, who resides in Ormoc, still wants to be with his family during this trying time. He informed the Philippines’ largest newspaper that in addition to safety concerns, travel restrictions and financial considerations have made flying from Las Vegas to Manila difficult.
“It’s just dangerous here in the U.S.,” Casimero said. “Many people have the virus and I might even be able to [interact with] a passenger with the virus on the plane. I really want to go home now because I haven’t been able to tell exactly when the fight is going to happen.” https://www.boxingscene.com/philippines-casimero-fears-leaving-las-vegas-during-covid-19-pandemic--148030Maybe he already got bored there in the US that's why he is contemplating on going back to the Philippines. The best thing for him to do now is to stay put in the US, if he fear to get contaminated with the virus then he should stay indoors. If things gets worst in the US and he contacted the disease i think he can shrugged it off just like another punch that hit his body. He is young and a very healthy individual, he won't die from this virus. Probably, because the fight is obviously cancelled that's why he is contemplating on staying with his family on this time. However, US won't just simply allow him because of a travel ban. And I guess he is not the only athlete to be caught in this scenario. He is a warrior after all and I think he can survived. Yes, he can just stay in touch with his family in the Philippines and he should be the one calming them, not the other way around. Besides he is a healthy body and if ever he can get infected, chances are he is going to through to it. Consider this as a big mental test and he can pass it.

What's going to happen if CZ and binance start getting rid of some projects on Coinmarketcap? Especially those with bad volume and Liquidity and also dead projects, because many are on coinmarketcap, what do you think this will do for crypto space? Will it have any impact or not?
It will bring more good in the crypto-sphere, I guess. Remember that we have complaint that Coinmarketcap is advertising scam project and listing exchanges in the top, when obviously those exchangers are doing some sort of wash trading and fake volumes. So if CZ and Binance can clean up the list, then no newbie will fall on trading on shitty exchanges that has been displayed in the old Coinmarketcap.

Aren't we are all tired of his shit-show? And now he comes up with another one of his 'grabbing the headlines' antics to bring some publicity to him again. I think people need to stop paying attention to this person because obviously, he is a pathological liar. Sue bitcoin? WTF is that, is he gonna sue his supposedly own bitcoin? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) He has been caught lying already, and every time he open his mouth, people are going to be like laughing and then hating him.

According to this article, YouTube continues to ban crypto content; No one knows the reason!. Last December they ban a lot of 'legitimate crypto website'. But lately though, we have seen hundreds if not thousands of fake giveways, and with the Covid-19 pandemic, perhaps there are more crypto related scams appearing on Youtube. Weird. I thought that after the first wave of bans around the December, they should have a list of which is legit and trusted. And that they shouldn't get the boot again if there are new bans. I agree with the ban of crpyto related scams, and they should focus on it. However, if some legit channels are going to be affected, then they have to look at their process of banning, just saying.
Yes, the problem is that as we have said, those legit channels. So I wouldn't be surprised that they complains about this new wave. Besides, there should be a new of rules about the banning. Google and Youtube have fuck up again and those legit channels might look for a better decentralised video based alternative here.

One of the core troubles accustomed to traders of crypto currency is their mindset.
Believe me, as a trader, you need to be confident and always trade to win and make profits.
Never have it in mind that you are trading to lose, develop a strong mentality and always dyor
Your mindsets determines what you see on a trade chart anytime
Definitely, we need to be very positive in any way we kind because that's where it starts. If you feel that you are not that confident and can always win, then it will surely manifest it when you do your trading activity. Of course, we can't really say that we are always going to win 100%, because after all we can make a lot of mistakes. But being positive and optimistic that we can win, definitely will be a plus, just saying.

That is rather easy to prevent; NEVER click ad search results ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Also, don't use google, don't use Google, don't use Chrome and... well, check the link and everything you download They made it such a small difference between ads and normal results that it is likely you might accidentally click an ad instead of a wanted result. It's happened to me more than 5 times in the past few weeks.. I thought cryptocurrency ads were removed by Google? It's almost as if Google, Twitter (with their fake giveaways which ran for MONTHS without them doing anything about it) and all the other large corporations want us to fall victims to scams so we could lose trust in cryptocurrencies.. Oh wait, that's exactly what they want ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) There are still loads of fake giveways in Google. And no way they are going to removed or at least filtered those ads unless people reported it to them. That's how messed up Google system is, and as much as we tell crypto people not to used it, I'm sure majority are still using it. And with the Covid-19 situation, Google should at least review all their ads as it might contained theme attacks, but as everybody here says, they don't care as long as they can also generate money from ads.

Nah, I don't think that Cardano can compete with Bitcoin and Ethereum. Cardano has been in the space long enough and we didn't see it taking the torch specially from ETH. Yes, it is a good project, however, both bitcoin and ethereum have some the 'trust' of the investors already and despite the current situation, it is still by far the most invested crypto.
Cardano will have its place in cryptosphere, but saying that it can compete or over throw them on top is a bit exaggeration, on my opinion.
