5101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What role did China Play in the current market declines. on: November 24, 2019, 12:29:47 PM
This thread can be closed. The article (3rd of November) referenced here states, " Bitcoin soared from $7,500 to $10,500 in just a few hours

following Xi’s remarks. " and that is simply wrong. The price did not go up, but rather went down, after the same government made negative

statements.   Roll Eyes We once again see Forbes posting this --> https://www.forbes.com/sites/billybambrough/2019/11/22/stark-china-warning-causes-bitcoin-to-suddenly-crash-10-as-other-major-cryptos-nosedive/#22250c7c53d4

You have to wonder how many bitcoins Forbes has in this game.  Huh
It probably I have to lock this one cause it is clear and (might) everyone knows that isn't only China is the reason for this fall. Many factors could affect and give influence to the market flow but somehow we are just focusing on China.

May people could clear out their mind that this all totally in nothing with the correlation of banning crypto in China but instead, it is purely in market demand.
5102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What role did China Play in the current market declines. on: November 23, 2019, 10:24:47 PM
For many of us are blaming China as the main reason for the current downfall trend we have experienced today but somehow it gets into my attention and changes my insights upon reading this one https://www.forbes.com/sites/cryptoconfidential/2019/11/03/bitcoin-spikes-as-china-embraces-blockchain/#2bafc66015c8.

It may be we couldn't make a conclusion pointing out China for the declining market just base on what they did before. I believe this all market changes because of its volatility features.

any thoughts...
5103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: November 23, 2019, 09:46:25 PM
Can you consciously and willingly stop gambling at any time?
If you can do the above, you have great control and discipline, of course, you are not an addict and you deserve to gamble as much as you want.
If not, clarify your ways of stopping gambling.

I can stop gambling anytime, but there is a tendency that once I gamble I don't stop not unless I have no money to gamble with. I have yried this several times, I often gamble, but once I start playing, I spend a lot of time gambling. That is why as much as possible I don't gamble at all.
It was a little bit more push to it, you can just escape from this kind of temptation if you really want a change but sadly, it didn't work for you.
Anyway, you can make another and another try. It can be some sort of discouragement and knowing that gambling is truly addictive especially when you already won big before cause in our mind, it will always be thinking for another win.

5107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: November 20, 2019, 10:58:20 AM
For that though, it clarifies something that holding can't be good all the time, it causes losses to our ends also sometimes.
The market is still not in good shape after the bull runs dried out, we suffer a long bearish which makes people get into panicking and sell their coin but somehow you've been holding for some reason. Sadly it won't give your expectations making you lose.

I'm sure a lot of people still holding altcoins for the sake that it will soon to rise (even me). But I'd rather accept the reality that bullish can't be easily seen right now. May HOLD isn't a perfect option for altcoins to think but rather sell them right away if we already in profit.
5108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one makes sense on: November 20, 2019, 08:19:18 AM
I think both are the same. while the promotion was taking place and with fundraising, many projects were successful with the system, and by first promoting it to the end and resuming sales, many projects were successful. I think it depends on the policies of the development team to use which method

But most projects Bounties/ICO are having a promotion before taking into the fundraising. What makes difficult here is the risk for investors putting up their money for no assurance of returns. If this project never gets enough money during their fundraising, it maybe won't go over with its launching period. Thus, many investors compromised themselves and give doubts to reinvest ICO/Bounties that don't have a working product because of their past experience. Of course, they'll be taking it seriously and nothing it makes sense investing projects that always broked their promises, and much worse if they will turn into a scam which it is mostly happening nowadays.

Wanted to apply to the campaign. Set my personal message and signature. Took a small hiatus but all my posts are always constructive and never spam. Appreciate the consideration, thanks!
There is no need to apply mate. By simply registering your UID in YoBit and set all necessary requirements as required for this campaign, then you are automatically registered as one of the (thousands)participants. Well, Good luck to you.

And this is what @yahoo62278 says,

I am not accepting participants for this campaign. Everything is done on the yobit website, just follow the instructions above. I will however be able to ban anyone I feel is spamming, anyone with justified negative trust, or anyone breaking any of the forums rules as far as campaigns go.
5110  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you holding Bitcoin? on: November 19, 2019, 10:55:35 PM
not sure that it's good idea... i'm sure that price fall down. Look at the graph for the latest 12 month... And look at the graph from Jul 2019... The graph goes down!
We are now in a month of november 2019 dont go back in the past, We want the future about bitcoin.
It is not a problem if the bitcoin go down the price it is not the a first time of bitcoin go down or up.
We are so glad that bitcoins are still stable the price to $8k and $9k.

As of now Im holding some bitcoin on my wallet to believe that have a comeback to take a price of $12k or more than that price in this year or end of this year.
That was amazing...
Having positive insights into the market will help us personally to keep calm. We are almost 2 years not experiencing bull run but seeing how the market trend goes on, it is still good and full of excitement. I can't leave for the hope that we will soon be having a great day in crypto (most likely) as it happens before.

Yes, it was great seeing prices aren't falling down deeper just like last year. For this is a reason why people are still giving their trust despite of all the struggled they are facing since last year until today. I could stand and keep holding by Bitcoins until such time that it has no value.
5111  Economy / Speculation / Re: Newbie looking for advice on: November 19, 2019, 10:21:37 PM
Hello all;
I used to have a little btc which sold and use in 2017-2018 , i had lost a good portion of it trying to profit trading with altcoins (bad option).
Now a days i dont have any crypto as i have used the crypto i had in 2017-2018 as my principal funds, i spent it on good and cash out the rest ( a little at a lost but i needed that money) as a student ive used it as my principal money.

Trading isn't a bad option for me mate. The only thing that I've to look to this situation is your altcoins selection for trade and (maybe) you're not choosing potential altcoins in the market. It can be a big loss to our end if we badly choose altcoins. But the worst thing happens to you is that you bring it entirely to altcoins which are supposed to make share it to bitcoin. Then, too hope that you have learned something from this and for your future reference as well.
But he already lost a good portion of his money what he tried to trade during 2017 and 2018, and that is worrying because if you have not learned anything from those days it is very likely that you are going to repeat the same mistakes again, so before anyone begins to trade after they had lost a significant portion of their capital they need to make a very deep research about what happened and why it happened otherwise the same will happen again.
He probably can't escape to that. Looking back to what we've done before is leading us to make new steps ahead. We know that consequences already so better we have to think of other ways for not going to happen again. Though we say we're not perfect and yes we are but can't just let it happens all the time, cause why not to have a change and correct those mistakes we've been commit before.

For the reason that is why most traders experience losses is because of there emotions and choose coins to trade. It can't be a good sign for him to continue in trading if he never changes or learns from what has got. This (big) mistake serves as a sort of learning, it was a bad experience but can't neglect it from happening since we are still learning.
5112  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to learn bitcoin trading? on: November 19, 2019, 04:05:54 PM
Then it has something to ask ourselves, are we ready to learn this?
Trading can be easy to learn if we are much interested to know. The only problem if we are able to cope with all the things we need to learn for I have to believe that it requires patience and hard work. Trading can be a process, for we can't be good at first and even suffer losses but somehow we look this as an opportunity to be more prepare for the possible results.

Mistakes are often to experience but the good thing is that it helps to drive us for the better trade in the future, for it is sure that we will have to work on it and so we can't be caught again. And I may think that this will also help you decide https://www.bitdegree.org/tutorials/day-trading-cryptocurrency/
5113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking answers can help on: November 18, 2019, 10:37:28 PM
A lot of information out there but somehow it was just ignored for they are more focus looking at those big rewards and possible doubling their profit. This is a reason why most new traders and investors fall into scam projects. We have awareness spread out already but can't think why they still fooled into this kind of promises. It is something they need to spend time to scam accusation board for them to avoid being a victim of scam projects.

Those projects can neither survive if we never support/invest them. We have to give recognition to some of our members here for their works and being a scam buster for they are helping out the market clean. In such a way, new investors are guided of what they are doing.
5114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you become a better or a worse person after you started gambling on: November 18, 2019, 10:08:04 PM
Being in gambling is gonna be a sort of learning for me. Not actually it gives a negative impact on our life but also it gives a realization where it change our understanding of gambling. Gambling can't be a thing to put a big deal cause it surely dragging us into worse which is an addiction and that is commonly happening to someone who never controls themselves.

As I've looked at myself now, it actually no change, it is still the same before I've started. It may be because I know how to control my self and stick to what I believe that gambling can do to our life if we engage too much and treat this as an opportunity to earn.
5115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction at its Worst! on: November 18, 2019, 03:27:11 PM
today I've got $ 200 start with $ 5 yes already withdrawn 2 hours ago
but when you have no other activities, gambling is like continuing to call to try again.

and what do I get after that?
Yesss I lost everything in just minutes  Angry greddy and addict its totally worst !
\

So you learned that gambling is about greedy and addict. That makes you lose the money. Next time, if you win $200, you better leave the place as soon as possible. Otherwise, you will end up losing all the money like what you got before. Maybe you need to learn about controlling yourself so that it will give you a chance to prevent continuing gambling. I am sure you can do that if you have an effort to reduce your time in gambling.
It simply reminds everyone that we can't be a lucky person all the time or even the whole day. There is too much temptation in gambling and it fuels our mind to think for more and more until we've got nothing. I give sympathy to that person cause it also happens to me before, though we think that would be a sort of learning and exactly yes but can't deny that we can befall into that back again.

For sure that we can't promise and learned from our mistakes cause for being out from the hell of greediness is a long term commitment, it can't be done instantly nor to change our mindset in just a week or month for sure. Cause I know that we can't escape from this.
5116  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 things you need to know before trading crypto on: November 18, 2019, 01:18:14 AM
Additional to what OP and other say's,
*Never expect instant returns
*never tried to make loans just to funds in trading
*Expect market change and tend to be contented of what you've got
*prepare for possible losses

Everything can happen around, only we have to prepare ourselves for all the changes occurs. We live in a roller coaster a-like market, tend to control our emotions by then for we aren't be falling into FUD/FOMO. We can't rely upon the future of our trades on the other hand, though listening to other's advice is good but we have to make our own decision as well, a thing we should have to master and need attention.
5117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3 Things You like To learn on: November 17, 2019, 11:42:29 PM
I would really be interested in learning how to Code blockchain. I dont mean  Clone a coin like Ripple and add a few more codes. But physically learn how they code new coins and other various blockchain projects. It really interests me and it is something I would like to learn!
Though it looks interesting but somehow it can't be a good idea to think about it. I'm not going to discourage you but it gonna be a difficult mate and it takes months or years probably to master which I don't think that you will survive for this.
Anyway, it is all about how you make your self clear to your goal and must stick to it otherwise, you will never succeed.

Then learn the basics first or practice coding alone, beside of that Bitcoin code is also an open source and you can find it on the internet.
I don't know why Satoshi did left the block this so small but it's like he's stopping the massive selling by limiting the blocks for any transaction committed because somehow it is the main problem that I see  right now.
Then he can be another satoshi if he could make it. Otherwise, he will just be wasting his time learning about codes.
Though we can see a lot on the internet, what satoshi made is quite unique from the others and only this person knows how it made.

5118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: November 17, 2019, 10:45:17 PM
It is all about transfers and anonymity are the reasons why we are preferred to used crypto over fiat in gambling but I'm afraid that gambling sites will require KYC to verified our account especially those who have a huge transfer and losses our anonymity at all.

It has to believe that most of us are using both fiat and crypto in gambling. Well, it is an option and I don't think that crypto is accepted in all gambling sites, and not also accepted in offline casinos that it force gamblers to used fiat. And for sometimes that I've converted my crypto to fiat for I have a chance to used it in offline casinos.
5119  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you holding Bitcoin? on: November 17, 2019, 09:59:12 PM
Long term holding will only be good if you have patience. It is only a few of us doing that for sure as more of us here are more preferable in short-term holding knowing the fact of its volatility. In fact, I consider myself as one of those short-term holders, I have patience but I'd rather enjoy the moment when Bitcoin price jump high and then sell off my BTC. We know it turns down back again, consider this a time to buy back and hold again.

For the best thing to do if we have Bitcoin in our wallet better learn to trade just what I did with my holdings. It eventually helps us to kept track of our Bitcoin and even gains more profit as well.
