5101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 6 countries have more than 50% of BTC exchange traffic on: November 12, 2020, 09:16:16 AM
I don't believe US has almost 20% of bitcoin traffics, most exchanges know that there are large number of traders in that country so they won't ban it. Users outside that country would definitely know that so they would obviously connect in that country. That percentage is not exactly inside US only.
5102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fees high on: November 12, 2020, 06:36:41 AM
The reason why bitcoin fees are high because there are many transactions ongoing on the blockchain. If fees are still high on bitcoin then why not try using other crypto. In the end all of them is all dependent on USD. If the fee is 10$ on bitcoin then look for other like doge, eth, or ltc where it's less than that.
5103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did anyone try to "gamble" with ponzi scheme crypto scam services? on: November 12, 2020, 05:02:02 AM
When I was new in crypto I tried invested on ponzi schemes. That was what I did first, withraw as early as possible. But as time passes, those ponzis got think of a way to get ahead if their investors. They put a minimum withdrawal on their system to prevent investors withrawing early. Before you can even withdraw their platform is gone like nothing happened taking all the money of their victims.

By using scripts you are dropping all the fun, and most of the time, increasing the speed with which you lose money to the sites.

No script has a magic formula to minimize your losses.

They believe that with a script they can win, but it reality it really does not changes the chances of winning in dice since the house edge would still remain regardless of the strategy a gambler will use, and since the house edge will remain, no luck could withstand a house edge.
Likely that it's stuck in the minds of everyone that when they read "script", it's a software that will make them win most of the time. But they don't know that these scripts doesn't work as what they are anticipating.

I agree that using script will just remove the natural fun that it can cause. Just the usual thinking that when somebody thinks of beating the game, they'll have an idea that scripts will make their job easily but it's not like that. They will only realize it until they lose a lot.

Non technical people always think of something like a hack when they hear that word. They think that the script will manipulate or exploit the website to give them more profit than normal. Me too believe on those at first but when I learned something about IT I realized that it's just a bot or macro you use on games.
5105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the new US administration be friendly to bitcoin? on: November 11, 2020, 10:46:22 AM

Biden just appointed a former chairman of Commodity Futures Trading Commission Gary Gensler as a leader of financial policy transition team, which is not bad cause he seems to be pro-crypto, he testified before Congress against comparison bitcoin to Ponzi schemes.
source: https://www.coindesk.com/biden-confirms-gary-gensler-will-lead-financial-policy-transition-team

Too bad trump lost the election to Biden, although trump never liked bitcoin, and so far have not heard Biden say anything about bitcoin, i believe that hasn't crossed his mind yet, so i guess we just have to wait till he assumes office and see what his administration brings, I just hope it will be good for us bitcoiners, because slowly US are becoming an out cast to crypto, so many platform refrain from distributing crypto to citizens of US, due to their regulation system.

This is a good start, he can help more people to explain bitcoin about what really it is and tell them their big differences. He can start appointing some people on finance department that knows crypto very well. If US will become crypto friendly then I think some countries would start acknowledging it too.
5106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PRIZE OF FIGHTING Boxing’s biggest contracts revealed on: November 11, 2020, 03:34:48 AM
On OP's list is the famous boxing champs and with their earnings, it is definitely a large amount but they are worthy of it because of the hardships that they went through just to become a champ. But I have read a story of a most legend boxing champ from the early 80's that all his riches went to waste because he wasn't able to manage it sad but true that some of them were not able to handle the fame they have gained. The boxing champs on the list are a private individuals and they can maintain their privacy somehow which will not give us information on how and where they are spending their wealth.
Many boxers are gone bankrupt because they didn’t manage their money well and as far as I know, Mike Tyson also file for bankruptcy. Anyway, I have to agree that they really work hard for this one and they really deserve those money.

they work hard for it and they deserve to spend it according to thier likings . the words that i said are the words that they will also reply if there are people that will scold them because they go bankrupt .

it was a valid reason imo but if this is a hard earned money , wouldnt be better if you spend it on more worth it things too so that your hardwork for earning it wont be wasted big time . they are popular and thier fame are going to get affected if the public will know that they got bankrupt and its hard to hide it

It's really a big disappointment if they go bankrupt with all those money. Yes, it's their choice where to spend it but once in their life they must think that if they don't spend it well or not even have atleast 1 business then sooner they will go bankrupt. They can't do boxing forever so while spending on what they want he should also secure his future so his family wouln't suffer in the future.
5107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How long until we can bet with bitcoin in real life casinos? on: November 11, 2020, 01:17:55 AM
It depends on that country when will that happen. I think some casinos in US already have that. But to countries where bitcoin is not fully known yet and not been acknowledged by the government then it's not likely to happen. All we can do for now is go to gambling websites and use our bitcoin there.
5108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Top Tips for New Bitcoin (BTC) Investors on: November 10, 2020, 04:31:17 AM
- Invest in other cryptocurrencies

What is this?
I don't think this is really necessary for new bitcoin investors. As you said in the first point, even investing in altcoins should do more research than bitcoin, including the background to the altcoin itself.
By the way, this is ridiculous advice from a content writer with more than 3 years of experience

In other words he just wants to create traffic on his blog generating income for himself.

I wouldn't really recommend a newbie to invest in altcoins. They are more volatile than bitcoin and some altcoins these days are scam. He should learn the basics of bitcoin first and understand the risk. Then he could visit some forums to start gain knowledge about different altcoins, what to look for before investing on it.
5109  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How btc price correction make things right. And what you should be aware of. on: November 10, 2020, 03:32:24 AM
Correction is normal and we should expect this when pump happends. This indicates that the market is healthy and traders are grabbing their profit that time. If correction doesn't happen then it's just a pump and dump scheme like any other crypto out there.
5110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multi bets vs single bets on: November 10, 2020, 01:36:25 AM
Multi bets or single bets, it's just all about luck. Single bet can also be risky too if you go all-in.
While multi bets is also not good if you lose only once, it's difficult to recover your bet from that loss. It would take many games and there's a high chance that you would lose again recovering your losses.
5111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC on gambling casinos on: November 10, 2020, 12:05:49 AM
Some of the Gambling casinos I've seen are requiring its user to conduct a KYC (not mandatory but they said there's a chance or something) however my concern is that the gambling casino is not licensed are you going to trust this or not? Imagine winning a big jackpot and they asked for you to conduct KYC but they are not licensed.

Unlicensed only means they can't comply with the proper regulations of a gambling website, maybe their platform is illegal or they have something bad doing to their customers. I wouldn't even try to gamble on those sites even if they have some good promotions or bonuses. I'm pretty sure they have something fishy to do that's why they are asking for KYC.
5112  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is the best cryptocurrency exchange for beginners on: November 09, 2020, 09:50:06 AM
Binance for me. All basic and even advance features of trading are on that exchange. Their platform is very mobile friendly too. I've been trading there since the website was established and I have not encounter any problems so far. It has also large volumes of crypto so you won't have any problem what to trade.
5113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump on: November 09, 2020, 06:05:43 AM
I just realized that $5 million can already be fed those people who are poor since we're on the pandemic, I hoped he uses it in donation than using for a bet.

It's his money so it's his decision where or how to spend it. I'm pretty sure he's rich and doing his part to help the unfortunates during this pandemic.

But I can't blame him for doing that, he purposedly bet a huge amount for his own entertainment but hoping that he has a lot of money, so he can't be depressed on such a huge loss.

He has the confidence to go all in for Trump even if many US citizens hate him so I think that $5m is just a chunk of his asset.

I'm now wondering what he feels when he made that bet compared to now.
5114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Indian boy committed suicide after losing money by Betting in IPL on: November 09, 2020, 03:44:23 AM
This is sad news in gambling industry. We should remember that we shouldn't borrow money from others just to gamble or try to recover our losses. If we think gambling is the only way to earn money, we should change that and ask for the help of others about financial matters rather than ending with this.
5115  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Targets for 2020 on: November 08, 2020, 06:26:23 AM
I think it's even possible to hit ATH, we still have more or less 45 days of 2020 so there are still many things to expect on bitcoin. Everyone is bullish now on it so let's hope it will continue until next year.

What I'm worried about is how low can it go when this trend stops. I'm hoping that what happened last year won't happen again.
5116  Economy / Economics / Re: How long will it take banks to phase out physical cash completely? on: November 08, 2020, 04:09:35 AM
For me it will still take some decades to go cashless. There are still some people now who prefer the traditional way and can't understand how to pay without using fiat, in other words they must be born in a year where technology is not that progressive yet. But current generations now understand the process of it, how to scan QR, how to topup credits for their mobile wallets, etc.
5117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 and its impact on gambling on: November 08, 2020, 03:16:57 AM
How does two different things relate to each other? It won't have any impact at all.
Gambling is a habit and all about the probability of win and losses, meanwhile election is decided by people who vote on the candidates.
It's not like sports where you can vote who's going to win.
5118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Suggest the best strategy on: November 08, 2020, 02:03:54 AM
If you have the money then subscribe to a group that is specializing in winning a bet, there are a lot of groups who have a huge winning percentage that can lead you to big winnings and jackpot I have a friend who implemented this in horse racing and he is making a lot of money because of the group, so find one for yourself.

Be wary when joining those groups. Find out some proofs that they actually have higher winning percentage. Gambling is all about luck in the first place, I would be suspicious of how they are doing that. And if they are exploiting the platform then what they said is not true. They are just stealing money to people from their false claims.
5119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AIRDROPS ARE NO LONGER VIABLE on: November 07, 2020, 09:25:32 AM
You can't really say they are not already viable unless you try joining it. There's a recent airdrop few months ago called UNI that give some thousand bucks(not sure how much exactly) to people. I've missed that airdrop since we have the same opinion but I get a little bit jealous when 2 of my friends got it.

When I have time now, I join some airdrops. If you have nothing to do then joining airdrops would not hurt. It's just gambling but the difference is you don't waste money but only time.
5120  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading hours on: November 07, 2020, 06:50:11 AM
From what I've experienced it's good to trade when US market is open. I live in asia and the pump often happens in the night where it's morning in the US. I think the reason for that is US is a progressive country and many people there know bitcoin and cryptos very well. Their country also are capable to affect the trend of bitcoin.
