5141  Economy / Securities / Re: Emberfund.io Crypto Hedge Fund - 30.000 Users [December 2020 Newsletter] on: February 10, 2021, 10:11:12 PM
That is what I thought, I believed you were either a shill or an employee/owner when I read the OP, the idea you could be a customer never crossed my mind and I doubt very much that you are their customer.

If you have used their services kindly post the transaction ids that show you sent funds to them and they sent funds to you. Let us all see the funds involved.

The referral link ensures you receive commission if anybody believes the fund to be true and believes the ROI but to be clear I do not.

The post you made really does seem more of an advertisement to promote the service rather than be a genuine post about "hey look what I found..."

Why would someone be investing/trusting their funds with a third party even if they are genuine when they could invest/trade/buy/sell crypto as and when they want themselves without paying a share of profits and fees?

Mainly because I use it and I believe in the team's vision. In fact, they eliminated trading fees completely by cleverly using smart contracts with WBTC on the ETH architecture recently. They constantly improve and refine the product, so I want to give something back. Plus a Quant for ETH is coming soon, eliminating the need to trade yourself. The Quant became fully „set and forget” too not too long ago.

5142  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Yobit Scam Accusation megathread. "Normal" modus operandi or shady practices? on: February 10, 2021, 10:08:21 PM
The last time I checked their Terms and Conditions did not list any company details. They are hiding behind anonymity.

Do anybody have legal adress of Yobit to start the actions with lawer?
5143  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: February 10, 2021, 06:01:51 PM
Thank you for the explanation.

The assumptions you refer to are essential for any investor to keep in mind and as you rightly stated there is no consensus on exactly what would be considered as reasonable assumption. Everybody has their own opinion.

A potential for any form of divestment on any scale that has an impact can only take place if investors know what estimates to expect and how they would be compared to their previous and current calculations. No matter how many investors might divest the website/business is far too big for it to have a negative impact in the long run.

bustabit saw gross gaming revenue of 26,851,012 XDR in 2020. Let's assume that the gross gaming revenue will be the same going forwards. With the current commission rate of 40.55% an estimate for the bankroll's annual return under the current system would be 15,962,926 XDR, which represents a return of 12.17% on its current value of 131,120,101 XDR. If the new commission structure were in place today, the estimated return would only be 6,927,561 XDR or 5.28%.

However, that doesn't account for the commission rate reacting to size of the bankroll or Bitcoin's price, investments or divestments being made, the gross gaming revenue being smaller or larger compared to last year etc. Estimates for the bankroll's expected rate of return can vary wildly depending on what assumptions you make and every investor needs to decide for themselves what assumptions they consider to be reasonable.

Well it happened to me too, figmentofmyass also contacted DT members asking them to either remove me from their trust list or add me to their distrust list.

I did question why but the idea of sock-puppets or alt-accounts never really came to my mind. I now think I must given red trust to one of his alt-accounts and that must have struck a nerve therefore he tried his best to manipulate others against me.

Well... Well... Well...

So the DT1 Troll figmentofmyass who DT distrusted me and spent many months convincing other DT1 Trolls that my investigations into alts was wild hysteria has been proven to be in actual fact an alt scammer him/herself scamming from the largest SigCamp.

This post I made still stands....

Any victim can ask the domain registrar to stop allowing the scammers to use the domain. At least one victim should have taken action by now in order to stop others becoming victims too.

They do not have a gaming licence from Curacao otherwise they would listed it. I think you are wrong because there is no evidence they are registered in Costa Rica. Why would you contact "Antillephone from Curacao" in the first place?

It seems they are not listed as an company anywhere, they are not a company it is just some scammer trying his luck.

The scam website URL is: https://1xbit.com/
Their Twitter URL is this: https://twitter.com/1x_bit
The link in the Twitter page goes here: bit.ly/2E02tGm (which is: crypto1xbit.com)

Here are the WHOIS:

https://whois.domaintools.com/1xbit.com
https://whois.domaintools.com/crypto1xbit.com

I have contacted the license holder Antillephone from Curacao about my case regarding to 1xbit, but they told me that 1xbit is not familiar to them.
I am afraid they are licensed in costa rica. I spent hours and hours to find data about their company, but I can not find it anywhere.

5148  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ Bet online ᐉ BTC Betting ᐉ Online betting odds on: February 10, 2021, 10:49:27 AM
So the people behind the website/business remain anonymous because they are not registering themselves as an LLC/LTD ?

If a user wants to start litigation against 1XBIT.COM there are two important issue:

1- who are their lawyers going to send the Court papers to? Name and address

2- 1XBIT.COM is not a legal entity because it is not an LLC/LTD. Even people behind it remain anonymous so which name will be on the litigation papers?

Here is what I think: there is no LLC/LTD and there is no "team" and no "security department". You are most likely a one-man band or at most just a group of 2 or 3 people that have been scamming members that trusted you and your website.
This statement could be easily refuted by checking our site - there are thousands of events and promotions. To a decent part of them there are daily updating banners.
Customer support works 24/7 in different languages, and site has millions of visitors per month (you can check it via free tools i.e. similarweb).
+ there is an affiliate part of the site, which constantly updates with its own creatives.

It's hard to imagine a small team carrying that all, and that's only a part of a work going.
5149  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - The most advanced cryptocurrency exchange on: February 10, 2021, 10:31:52 AM
I am sorry to read about another victim. HitBTC have a history of selective scamming users. They seem to use any excuse to withhold funds (as the complaints against them show) but the moral of the story is that they should be avoided at all costs.

Hi. I have the same situation now. They locked my account for no reason. They requested documents and I quickly provided them. But they do not check them and for several days they have not responded in tickets.

I looked for some information about this exchange and found that in 2019 they already had a similar situation. When they had difficulties with the availability of funds on their accounts, they did not think of anything better than freezing traders' accounts under the guise of KYC requirements.
5150  Economy / Goods / Re: Purchasing a London apartment for BTC on: February 10, 2021, 10:21:02 AM
The OP should have listed everything in detail so others would not have to write asking questions to get clarification.

His post could easily have been: "I am interested in selling it for BTC (I have found a law firm that can work on the transaction).

I would appreciate any suggestions of how/where this could be marketed? Would anyone here be interested in purchasing a 7 seater car in Central London (W9)?
"

The onus is on the OP needs to put as much information out there as possible in order to generate interest.

This sounds quite niche, why can't you use cash or fiat?

You might also want to list the value of the property. I've seen listings for quite a few things go up on this forum (Real Estate/yacht listings) but I'm not sure how well they do.
5151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: February 10, 2021, 12:49:37 AM
If what you say is true then it is your belief that you share with just a handful of other users here in the forum.

If your aim here is to create momentum for some form of unison way forward which the developers will accept and implement then you are misguided. No matter how many words are typed in this thread and no matter who types them - the developers will take zero notice and rightly so.

As for the other thing, if sending begging letters to the developers will not do anything then what exactly is stopping you from creating your own fork and along with it your own ANN thread so the discussion can be taken there which would allow for this thread to be free from the endless whining?

The same old nonsense from the same old trolls...about miners this and masternode operators that and share allocation this and voting rights that but it is useless. They should take that nonsense to the top and send emails to the developers or better still they should fork and call it whatever they want.

It's not the "thread" trolling you which you should be worried about, it's the markets trolling you.

This here is not a temporary trend, it's permanent and there are good technical reasons for it. If you want to argue for sitting on your hands and doing sweet f.a. about it then that is of course your prerogative but this coin does not work by sending begging letters to devs. The devs do what the community tells them to and if the community wants to live in dismissive ignorance of the priorities that drive its market performance as you seem to be advocating then don't expect any future other than continuing along the same trajectory.

I am not sure why you took unilateral steps to give money that belongs to the OP to a third party without their consent. They never agreed to the arbiter that you selected and was not even offered a choice so why did you take all these step?

Did you think about approaching the OP and asking if they would accept this before you started the process?

Update:

as promised, bank receipt of the deposit on the arbitrator account. Every quarter we will publish the bank statement proving the existence of the deposit.

What you are saying is that you are not a legal company otherwise the information would have been posted within your ToS.

Here is what I think: there is no LLC/LTD and there is no "team" and no "security department". You are most likely a one-man band or at most just a group of 2 or 3 people that have been scamming members that trusted you and your website.

@1xbit_official

Can you post the following information?

Who is your security team?

What is your LLC/LTD incorporated company name and address?

What is the name of the legal representative appointed to deal those wish to seek Court action?
We don't really understand what info do you require by asking "who is your security team". It is a separate department of 1xbit company.
Regarding official representative: since we do not operate fiat money - we require no personal information to set up an account, and that was made to follow privacy for both a player and the company.
5154  Economy / Reputation / Re: JollyGood incorrect neg tag on: February 09, 2021, 04:39:03 PM
You are right on occasion I have been quick off the mark to tag.

You may be aware of more incidents but I can recall I think of at least two occasions where I did leave negative trust where it was not warranted and I think I apologised to the user in question in a thread rather than PMs and reluctantly revised feedbacks for other users.

On a different occasion I was pressured in to removing a red tag for a particular but later on the same user in question made a mistake that deserved a red tag and it was not contested.

I will definitely take your advice I appreciate the feedback.

Calling it "abusive" is be a bit much, I take that back.  I know you work hard to keep the forum safe and free of scammers, and for that you deserve recognition and commendation.  I would hate to see you fall from DT as a result of some of the more frivolous red-tags.  The only reason I haven't included you in my trust list is because I feel you're quick with your judgements in some situations.
5155  Economy / Reputation / Re: JollyGood incorrect neg tag on: February 09, 2021, 04:11:42 PM
Hello, let's talk with facts.

~snip~
You started this thread at 09:50am yet send a PM at 1:41pm seeking a resolution - why?

Maybe you should have considered approaching me first before starting the thread. I will review the situation and revise the feedback to neutral if it is appropriate so there was no need for all the drama that is contained here since the thread was created when you could have sent a PM first.

If possible, kindly explain why took exception to my trust but not of others specifically to the point of creating threads in the Reputation board citing how you have been wronged.

P.P.S: I' a little worry about that fact that forum also turning into GULAG-like place, where you can be accused due to someone's words.
And also because the DT system doesn't work. I hope that I'm wrong, but I have a strong feeling that here everything ends as often: nothing will change. False accused guy will ask for help and will be ignored and a mad "commissar" will continue to tag everything he want  Sad

You ignored your previous two negs for a long time, but suddenly you attack the third because you see an opening?  JollyGood is all over the forum right now - easy target to flush away your past errors?

I don't see how you calling IconFirm mad is OK, but someone stating you may be an alt is not.

Edit:  Thx johhnyUA
My sentiments exactly. He already had negative trust which will still sit there even if I revise mine to neutral but he made no overt effort to have it revised or removed yet the feedback I gave is causing him a lot of anxiety and distress to the point he created this thread.

You ignored your previous two negs for a long time, but suddenly you attack the third because you see an opening?

You a little wrong about this statement, let me clarify:
1. With bob I have a personal conversation, and it didn't help.
2. About second false feedback I tried to resolve in our local russian section. And at least few people removed their tags for me. Bob was one of them (after strong proofs as private conversation):
While the screenhots do not absolutely proof that this is not your alt yet.. i still believe that it would be highly unprobable.

I removed the rating on both accounts.
So in his opinion it is highly unprobable but not impossible.

Red trust without proof (or referring to another red trust rating without reference/proof, same thing) are not cool. Basically the trust rating the way it is now says that johhnyUA is a high risk in trading because he changed his e-mail address at some point in the past. Makes no sense.
This is true, I should have written it out my reasons for him being a bounty cheat with that reference link. Thank you for pointing it out, I will modify it.

IconFirm made assumption that account johhnyUA changed hands and they probably didn't give a fuck to check whether account is sold or not just because of yobit's signature, which is the main reason of feedback anyway. JG's reference points "kvanko-johhnyUA alt accusation" topic, as there is no way to prove or disapprove it, JG probably see him as cheater who will do anything for money and he decided that yUA is dangerous, then he left him feedback and send him to "Ignoreland", which is, btw, according to yohhnyUA OK to do:
I can't understand one thing: why do you not put them in ignore list, eh?

It's really weird, see: For example, i have some assholes in russian local which i don't like, moreover, i think they are dangerous to forum members. I left my feedbacks to them and send them to Ignoreland. Sometimes they create butthurt topics about me but most of the time i don't see them. So, what's bother you to do so?
I am speechless. You read my mind!

marlboroza since when did you start gaining mind reading powers  Shocked

Regarding tagging I am not sure a neutral tag would suffice on the basis of that conversation and here are two important posts:

yes, he helps me to do translation for russian branch on this forum. Some kind of translation company

Kvanko Registration Date: 10/29/2015

Agreed, and this is yet another feedback of JollyGood's that I don't agree with, no matter how much he's right about Yobit being a scam exchange.  I wouldn't tag anyone for being in a previous Yobit campaign, and the evidence of OP's account changing hands is just....meh, as far as I can see--but I didn't delve too deep into it.

Gotta go easy on those negs, JG.
I know, I really am trying The Pharmacist I took advice previously and tried to refrain from doing so. On a slightly different note, I still need to take the time out to see if any of my red trust can be revised to neutral, I did mention to you I would do it and I will get round to it soon.

IconFirm made assumption that account johhnyUA changed hands and they probably didn't give a fuck to check whether account is sold or not just because of yobit's signature, which is the main reason of feedback anyway. Ignore is fine, red trust to tell everyone that JG is ignoring someone - not so much. Same with the ratings that say one thing and point to another... it shouldn't be a puzzle, it should be factual and indicate "high risk in trading".
In my red trust I did not write I was ignoring him but I will update the wording to not mention Yobit but rather be more specific about the reason (character space permitting) which is I do not buy the whole story that he signed up then invited his friend to the forum because his friend (alt) signed up before him and I do not accept any reason that they (he and his alt) shared the same ETH address for any reason at all.

There no evidence about that. That's the problem. But we have evidences that I'm still myself. Called "signed message". If account would change hands in 2020 i doubt that he could sign message with an address from 2017-2018.

It wouldn't be the first time an account was sold along with a private key that was used some time back.  I'm not saying the claims that the account changed hands are valid, the evidence is very weak.  But, if you proved to the community that the claim is total horse shit, then maybe JollyGood would feel pressured to revise his tag.  I personally think his use of the trust system is abusive.  A hair trigger with red-tags is damaging to the system as a whole, and dilutes the value.

I have to say; in my opinion all the red-tags on your account are worthless.  My trust settings only show the ones from JollyGood and bob123.  The one from JollyGood shouldn't be there at all, and the one from bob123 is taking a hardline stance on semantics.

I see that KTChampion's feedback shows up on DT.  I get the one about bounty cheating, and not believing the "Friends" excuse, but that's another situation where I don't like tagging people unless there's substantial irrefutable evidence.  The other one is just another petty squabble using red-tags as a bludgeon.  My recommendation to you is to not feed into it and make things worse with retaliatory feedback.  These things have a way ironing themselves out in the long run.
I am sorry that you felt that my use of the trust system is abusive. I would not see myself with hair trigger tendencies but still I will take your feedback on-board and reflect to see my general style in the forum.

Can you believe what you are reading? You already asked for a manual withdrawal to your wallet but sadly it never happened and seems like he is putting the onus back on you to try again when you clearly stated you are asking for him to send the crypto to your wallet.

And yet the bankroll size barely budged. I think it didn't even move at all on bustadice.

Unless you're referring to the previous calculation adjustment, I imagine investors have not taken action after reading this news because the proposed changes do not take effect until March 2nd, 2021.

We will probably see large divestments in the days leading up to the March 2nd, 2021 bankroll calculation change.
