5145  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Got some satoshi transferred to wallet but who send them? on: December 30, 2017, 06:47:12 PM
Maybe its a noob questions but I'm participating in different twitter bounties so I got today one transaction of almost 80k satoshi, but idk for which campaign. How can I trace the sender? Tried looking for the senders address in the forum but got only one hit from campaign from early November in which I was not participating.

Campaigns usually provide you with some sort of Google docs sheets so you may want to trace it down. For future enrollments you may want to keep a record where do you apply how much they pay etc.

Thanks for the replay. I have a Google table I made myself and there I put every campaign I'm into with deadlines and payments also the wallet addresses but maybe I need a more detailed template to keep better track of the things

Really good guide, I have added the OP as a reference in my mobile app. I'm mining monero at the moment  @1000 h/s but I'm thinking to switch to electoneum. Which is the best pool to joint? I'm also planning to upgrade my mining rig soon.

Ive had good success on https://etn.spacepools.org/ - solid ping and rarely down. Also gives good stats and has a decent hashrate so steady payouts most of the time.

Im also switching between mining Monero and ETN using XMR-Cast as I get about a 15% hashrate increase compared to XMR-STAK or Claymore and I find its been stable with Crimson Blockchain drivers. It's a hard one to decide which coin to mine as ETN isnt that profitable as the moment compared to other coins so you really have to be confident that the price will go up. Monero is more the safe bet option long term but I am a big fan of ETN so will continue mining.

Thanks for the info, I'm also having faith in ETN that's why  I'll give it a try for a long term investment. I'm mining it now only with CPU and made around  25 for a few days now. Prefer to hold my coins and sell only when is really necessary Smiley

Has anyone received the bounty (PIN) of week 2 yet?

No, I'm still waiting. I wrote a few days ago and still no answer.

Is this the fork that Coinbase was preparing to support and it was cancelled on the way? I read somewhere that the new fork is quite different from the one planned last month?
5151  Other / Meta / Re: [Help] How do I increase my activity on bitcointalk? on: December 28, 2017, 09:43:02 PM

5152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2x Dec 28th on: December 27, 2017, 11:08:01 PM
Coinbase was preparing for this fork for a very long time but I haven't heard anything about it yet. It was a big thing the cancellation of the B2X because of the disagreement of some of the big gamers and I think it affected quite a lot the last crazy uptrend of the Bitcoin. I wonder what will happen now it this is true. We will see tomorrow.
5153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee start sharing his thoughts on Alts on: December 27, 2017, 09:38:45 PM
Most of the newbies are following him and will buy every "shit coin" he tweets about. I'm also following him but i do not put trust on his words, just to be up with the hype he is creating.
5154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did Verge pump only because of McAfee? on: December 27, 2017, 09:30:13 PM
He has this "coin of the day" thing so every day he tweets info for different coin. Almost half a million people are following him, and big part of them are asking what to buy almost constantly. Maybe he get some % to promote  certain coins, but he is definitely able to move the markets.
5155  Local / Other languages/locations / Re: Български (Bulgarian) on: December 22, 2017, 12:38:27 PM
Здравейте и от мен! Защо си нямаме БГ борд, а сме чак в other languages/locations е моя простичък въпрос?!?  Smiley

5156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I sold everything on: December 22, 2017, 08:35:37 AM
Hello from Norway Smiley
I know what you mean about taxes, It's horrible here too but I'm gonna hold my small bitcoin fortune a bit longer (no matter what). I enter this horse race rather late @3500$ this summer but I'm gonna hold it even if it falls down to 3K$ now. If you have no nerves for this is gonna be sell and forget.

5158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Bitcoin Cash, was it scam? on: December 20, 2017, 12:50:54 PM
You cannot sell/buy Cash on Coinbase at the moment. I tried earlier today and got error massage that it is temporary disabled. They initially announced that the Bitcoin Cash will be available after 1. of Jan next year. Now the Bitcoin is recovering well, back to almost 18k $. Maybe it's gonna have another drop when they enable back the Cash trade.
5159  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why can’t I verify my identity in any exchange on: December 20, 2017, 08:39:46 AM
I had some similar problem with Coinbase. I had a Bulgarian driving license but I'm living in Norway. I wrote to the support and it took almost 3 months to fix the issue. There is an other way to register if you cannot wait so long. When I got no answer from the support the first two weeks I decided to use a Teamviewer to connect to my friend's PC in Bulgaria and make the registration there. It went smooth.
So, maybe you can use a VPN to connecto to Sri Lanka and make the registration from there, this I haven't tried since I do not trust the public VPNs.
5160  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I dont pay for electricity should I mine Bitcoin or Litecoin?! on: December 20, 2017, 08:20:47 AM
I can suggest mining a Monero. You can mine with GPU and CPU. I'm mining at the moment with PCs with around 1000H/s together. I do pay electricity but I mine it more for investment, and use the PCs as a heating in the winter Wink
