5143  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Interview] Crypto business in Kazakhstan on: July 29, 2021, 11:16:39 AM
I read an interesting analytics that the cost of electricity at CHP plants, which were built in the Soviet Union, is less than 1 cent per kilowatt. Even in the Soviet Union, the leaders understood that it was necessary to look for other sources of electricity, so improvements to the CHP plant stopped. Modern CHP plants have higher efficiency, they are being built in China.
In Kazakhstan, the same CHP plants are used as now in Russia.
But there is a lot of coal in Russia and Kazakhstan Smiley
5144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) to buy right now? on: July 28, 2021, 10:34:52 PM
There are many Ethereum-based games which provide one-of-the-kind tokens for gamers to collect. Depending on their "rareness", they could be worth a ton of money in the long term. I know that some people have made a lot of money selling unique and rare CryptoKitties within the Blockchain. This has led me to wonder what are the best non-fungible tokens (or ERC-721 tokens) to buy right now?
This is a very difficult market, I think it is even more difficult than trading on a cryptocurrency exchange. By re-investing, you need to collect a lot of information about the market and do your own research.
The price of the NTF token may fall to 0 or this token will cease to be in demand.
Therefore, I would think very well before investing.
5145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safest way of long term holding on: July 28, 2021, 10:21:27 PM
I will also vote Trezor and Ledger. You can use a separate computer or store coins on a paper wallet,
but there is a risk of losing coins when you download a jailbroken wallet or your private key is stolen.
A hardware wallet does not require the user to enter private keys on a computer.
And the price of the hardware wallet is small, but it is better to buy with a discount on Black Friday.
5146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If not invested then do it now... on: July 28, 2021, 10:15:16 PM
It is dangerous to invest now if it is not short-term speculation. According to the classics of the genre, there will now be a small pump up to 48-50 thousand dollars per bitcoin, and then a dump up to 20 K.
Of course there can be many options, but the price should still be in the 20-25K range.
Market makers will need to buy cheap bitcoin.

"Никогда не говори никогда"(С)
Для большинства людей экосистема DeFi это скам проекты которые замаскированы под фармилки ликвидности. Дальше никто не смотрит.
Для понимающих DeFi это децентрализованная система торговли и обмена ценностями без посредников.

Кому интересны будущие проекты и мое виденье, сюда

Мошенничество будет всегда, поэтому нужно изучать экосистему.

Celer cBridge запускает мост межсетевой и межуровневой ликвидности
Пока cBridge может использоваться для мгновенной передачи токенов между цепями и между уровнями между любыми двумя из этих сетей: Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon и Binance Smart Chain.

Celer cBridge: :

5149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: July 28, 2021, 09:20:52 PM
The number of validators in the Ethereum 2.0 network has exceeded 200,215 currently the betting platform contains 6,406,811 ethereum, or more than $15 billion in value.
The number of validators on ETH network is bigger than what Binance Smart Chain has. Binance Smart Chain is centralized by Binance but Ethereum network is more decentralized. Your screenshot and given stats on that page demonstrate that ETH network is actually decentralized.

If I choose one between Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain, I would choose Ethereum. It has longer history and better decentralization. Transaction fee is not the only thing to consider and assess one project.

I wouldn't say that Ethereum is fully decentralized. Only partially perhaps. There is this developer team with an uknown premined stash, who decides what to do with the bloockchain. This is done without asking the users, including reversing transactions in case they don't like something. This is what happened in 2016, after the DAO accident. Since then the project has been compromised and nobody can state that it is truly decentralized. Now we see a switch from POW, which was the only decentralized element, to a POS, which is like the fiat money. So with time instead of going more decentralized, ethereum is going even less decentralized. It is like a fiat money blockchain, which allows ponzis to be made on top of it, like DAO, Icos, Defi, etc. So everyone investing in ethereum must know, that they are trusting their money to a team that makes all decisions on their own and may split and abandon the project anytime. One of the inventors has already left the project. And finally, nobody knows what is the supply and what it will be after the POS switch. So it is not about bitcoin maximalism as Vitalik is trying to defend his project. This is the truth -  that the only fully decentralized blockchain is bitcoin. There is the Core's team of course, who is changing with time but they always ask the community for each change. The users and miners vote and then the change is implemented. And we are talking about small techical soft forks like segwit and tarpoot, which are expanding the decentralization.
I do not agree with you. After the DAO was hacked, a vote was taken and a hard fork was carried out.
Consensus has been reached.
https://blog.ethereum.org/2016/06/24/dao-wars-youre-voice-soft-fork-dilemma/

I understand that a lot of coins were created in the genesis block, but you can't talk about the project if you don't compare it with competitors.
Ethereum is the most decentralized protocol after Bitcoin.

"The current refund program will run until the 10 mln 1INCH mark is reached. Please, note that only transactions with such parameters as ‘fast gas price’ and ‘slippage tolerance >= 1%’ chosen in the 1inch dApp (either web or iOS versions) are eligible for refunds."

5154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero: A good long-term investment? on: July 27, 2021, 12:47:35 PM
I don't think investing in Monero is going to be a good one. The exchanges will split this coin by order of the regulators and this will negatively affect its price.
The coin has a large community, an excellent development team, but the growth prospects are not great, because if the coin is very expensive,
then users will use other coins from competitors.
5155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how can i find alt coins before they explod on: July 27, 2021, 12:41:59 PM
so i havent invested anything in crpto YET (idk i want to see if bitcoin goes down lol il probly invest a bit into bitcoin and eth now tho) so yea as the title says how can i find alt coins that havent blown up.

ps im a total newb so any tips will be welcomed and thanked!  Smiley
The pump and dump scheme is a cheat for beginners.
Nobody will make you a millionaire.
Before pumping the lightning, the manipulator will redeem most of the coins, and the rest will probably be blocked in smart contracts or staking.
Then the price will be pumped, but after that the manipulator will sell its coins to the hamsters.
5156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: prepare for next halving on: July 27, 2021, 12:36:00 PM
The best thing is prepare for next halving event. Now very risky point to invest. one day 10% green then all think that market will be ok. but after 1 week 20% down.

2024 and 2028 are we need to focus.
Bitcoin price will rise in the long term. I think that in 7 years, we can see a price of several hundred thousand dollars for 1 bitcoin.
Check out the Stock-to-Flow model, it explains very well the rise in the price of bitcoin along the timeline.
It is not a mistake to buy bitcoin at any price, but you do not need to do it in 1 day. Split your budget and buy bitcoin every 2 weeks or month

Tether Execs Facing Department of Justice Probe For Alleged Bank Fraud

"Tether executives are facing a U.S. Department of Justice probe on potential bank fraud committed during Tether's early days.

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) is investigating whether or not Tether's executives have committed bank fraud, per Bloomberg.

Federal prosecutors are focusing on Tether's early days, where it is alleged that Tether potentially concealed from banks transactions that were linked to crypto."
5158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to Tether? on: July 26, 2021, 07:23:31 PM
To my understanding Tether is the cryptocurrency created and backed by Bitfinex. If they become bankrupt and stop operating as an exchange what will happen to all the tethers in circulation? Will it all lose value also? Will Bitfinex have the responsibility to exchange them for real us dollars?
Read this information

And read this article:

Use various stablecoins to store your crypto savings, not just USDT. It is very risky to hodl all coins in USDT.
5159  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: correct trading signals on: July 26, 2021, 07:19:32 PM
i am new in crypto world and i don't know how can i get right signals on right time . i joined some paid group but they gave me some good and some bad signals too. then i learned about indicators and i used some indicators but some time it didn't work for me. i want to know that where am i making mistake and what should i do to get a handsome profit.
If you are a beginner, then first read the well-known literature on investing, trading and proper risk management. In telegram groups, administrators make money by selling trading signals to beginners, but they may not be qualified traders, but simply amateurs.
If you continue to do this, then you will lose your money.
At first, you may have made a profit, but then you will lose everything. There is no easy money in trading.
5160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful what you choose to invest in now, not all coins will recover. on: July 26, 2021, 06:57:51 PM
New coins and projects should not be given the hype they crave for. You feed them with hype, they will expand further and draw more of a crowd and essentially scam more people. It is true, similar thing happened with the ICO craze back in 2016-2017 when everyone was coming with a new idea for an ICO and people blindly followed them putting in a hundred dollars for each one hoping to see gains.

But it all crumbled down to nothing when the fact came into light that ICO tokens were not securities nor equities and once the team decided to show its true colours, the investors were the one who were scammed off their money.

Similarly, hype is what pushed up the DeFi and NFT craze. People who are thinking about investing in these because bitcoin is beyond their reach are being foolish.
The best thing about 2022 coming closer is NFT's are going to be dead and we wont have to hear about them anymore.
A very optimistic opinion. NFT projects are developing very strongly and very interesting solutions are being developed for NFT projects. For example, scrt.network allows the customer to see the Picture in low quality, and after the purchase, the customer gets the picture in the maximum resolution.
Before that, each customer can download pictures for free.
