5141  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Reference] Lending board spammers and scammers. on: January 04, 2021, 10:49:49 PM
hello I need 0.02btc urgently and I have a faucet website for collateral please check out the links
<snip>
the loan will be paid in 3weeks time
[Archive]
Lol.  He calls it "the best faucet website" and meanwhile it looks like one that nobody has likely ever heard of--and if you're putting up a faucet as collateral for a 0.02BTC loan with that amount of interest, it's probably for gambling and will never be paid back.

I'm so glad I put the Lending section on ignore a long time ago.  I don't know how it is these days, but back in 2015-16 it seemed like nobody understood the concept of valid collateral (like this guy), and Vod was tagging so many of these potential scammers it was ridiculous.

This is not the first attempt to sell the domain through loans. This user also trying to giving worthless domain as collateral. For example, user tradwra asking for a loan

Need some money start an new business, so i am try to find an loan here.
Amount 0.1 BTC for 3 month, pay back 0.115 BTC
collateral my website tradwra.com, can transfer domain to you.
Thanks!

Also, this domain has been on auction https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5299711.0

but just a few days later, without any interest, domain value rapidly lowered to 0.025.

0.025 BTC if someone can take over it. PM
5142  Economy / Exchanges / Re: LIVECOIN HACKED on: January 04, 2021, 02:54:18 PM
An exchange will definitely make its reputation even badder because of the hacking incidents. If they can help their affected users to get a refund that will retrieve them and on this case, there's nothing much has been seen for Livecoin except that bounty for the attack that has been posted above.

it's over with their reputation as well as with their business. after all, who would send any money to them at all.

Just read this blog about Livecoin hack posted by Ratimov https://graph.org/Livecoin-Hack-or-hack-Current-state-12-26
I just read it there:

Quote
July 4, 2019 - the company was registered in Belize (company name is Red Velvet) but the registration expired one year after. So in fact, Livecoin has no official company registration since July 2020.

So they operate without a license, no company, just as a group of enthusiast.
it is very strange that they somehow fitted it with the end of the year
5143  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Develop bitcoinwallet.id on: January 04, 2021, 02:33:12 PM
Yes, it is a good domain, but not such a good as you think. as far as I can see you are asking for some serious sums of money, 20 BTC for litecoin.id is more than unreal amount for the domain name.
I am not sure that domain like bitcoinwallet.id can bring more than half of million dollars in 5-10 years. there is needed a very good application to run behind this domain and probably is much better to invest 20BTC in app development, rather than in just domain name. There will still be money left for promotion so you can have a domain like coingecko.com, coindesk.com and to make a profit.

Also, you don't need to spam through PM, offering your domains. I suppose account benhur2008 is also yours, you sent me PM a few days ago. You offering this domain with your alt account here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5296194
5144  Economy / Reputation / Re: Who controls Bestchange's account? on: January 04, 2021, 01:33:13 PM
I'm not sure I understood where you see the problem here. Even if behind this account is a real person, they can create his own custom trust list like everyone else. A year ago there was a critical situation with scam accusations against them, I guess that's affected and that they expand his trust list, more to be sure about his own feedback rating here.
I add them on my trust list based on a conversation with the person who handles it and to his reactions on the forum in some specific situation.

If this is a corporate BestChange account, then he must clear his trust list, leaving it by default. This account will soon become DT1 and in the event of any dispute, this account will be able to use a preventive response.

BestChange account is trusted by 8 7 members, and they need much more to be selected into DT1, no matter what their DT list looked like.

btw. What is the difference between a corporate or personal account?

  • Despite the fact that the account has a lot of positive feedbacks, I see that most of them have nothing to do with assessing the quality of the Bestchange service.

I made the exchange with them for $5k+ I still stand behind the fact that they are trusted as I say in my feedback there.
5145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: January 04, 2021, 12:01:35 PM
Thanks to @examplens I'm back here on Idena looking forward to being permanently active here, so many things to catch up here, I still think that it's one of the coins with good potential in the market I notice there's a huge node now and I'm sure it will reach 1000 nodes early this year.

Hey, I saw you successfully pass validation. I'm glad that I helped.
I suggest you follow their official Telegram channels https://t.me/IdenaAnnouncements and https://t.me/IdenaAnnouncements always to be up to date.
Also, don't forget to create flips before the next validation time.
5146  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Please unfreeze The YOBIT Account over 1 month Freeze 89 BTC on: January 04, 2021, 11:56:33 AM
Bro... You're replying to a 3 year old thread. YoBit resolved the situation in spectacular fashion. That was the second post of the thread!

their deceptions never become obsolete. this is a normal way of doing business for them. They promise some great amounts if you invest there, but it is always conditioned through some of their tokens. You need to buy, stake, gamble with his shit tokens. I no longer have sympathy for the people deceived by Yobit, they just took advantage of their greed because they ignored all the advice on the occasion fraudulent way of running a business.
You say "YoBit trollbox mod seems a bit unprofessional". But I did not find anything there has the professionalism in indications.
5147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 04, 2021, 11:38:10 AM
I was able to get the exact scores for both matches that were played today, that's boosted my rank to 4th and 6th position in the round and overall leaderboard respectively.
After some long time we have very good round because too many members with very good number of points but sadly now again we are going for vacation and now we have to wait for next round of EPL for more action hopefully now we are going to have some good and interesting matches as top ranked teams doing much better for title race.

There are not many surprising games, almost all favourites win. Maybe except Everton.

It's interesting Chelsea vs. Manchester City game, it is evident that a break suited M.City caused by postponed match. They played much easier, maybe this was their best game of the season. rhythm games on every 2-3 days are really too much.

I've gone for the draw. Liverpool should win but I don't trust them right now and Southampton have been playing surprisingly strong losing to only the two Manchester teams and those were close.

This is very possible. I am doubting between a draw or Liverpool win. Check Liverpool's stats from away games, only two wins + 5 drawn and 1 lost until now.

Wow, @bitmover, this is very nice work from you.
I was just checking the server load from your account, you are very frugal  Wink

I still think the font size for mining pool names should be a little bit smaller. Better visual and also better to catch attention of viewers on main and non-main points on your chart. Of course, it is personal perspective on which is main/ non-main points.

maybe there’s not even a need for another type of font. Heading may be marked with biggest/smallest or bolded font if they need. I think differnet font type draws attention, more than the size.
5150  Economy / Lending / Re: Can a wallet with vested tokens be used as collateral? on: December 31, 2020, 11:59:46 AM
For example a Near wallet with locked and staked tokens that release linearly for the next year and a half, Or a Flow wallet with staked and locked flow.

Can these be used as collateral here for a loan?

To be clear I'm trying to research as many details as I can before I ask for a loan, I've gathered that as a noobie, it's risky even to ask.

it's always better to ask.
It is not possible. Assuming your tokens are really worth something, and that they can be sold at any time if something going wrong with his value or your loan repayment, you must provide the private key to the lender and you can no longer have access to this wallet until full repayments of the loan. that's the only way for the lender to be protected and that you can't selling tokens or sending them to your other wallet.
5151  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: codecanyon.net subscription on: December 31, 2020, 11:52:02 AM
What will be the illegal option to download something from codecanyon? Need to know to have a knowledge about the way.

of course, it is legal downloading something from Codecanyon, I just suggest buying a license in the group so the costs are divided into several people and everyone can get what they want for much cheapest price.
I distance myself from legality or illegality for this way of licencing, because opinions are divided here although not a single rule is essentially violated. In the end, I used this method myself.

Don't really think this is a good idea... I'm not sure what sort of script you're looking for, but there are dozens of open-source templates out there.

And if you really want a custom one, might as well pay 30$.

If you try to download it illegally somewhere, it's highly likely the code is either tampered with (eg. backdoor), or that the download itself contains shit like viruses.

Really though, if your website is worth more than 50$, I would never use a nulled or cracked version of some script.

Of course, but because of that, they asked for regular download from codecanyon. Usually, everything from there is safe.

..

I sent you a link in PM.
5152  Economy / Lending / Re: require loan 0.1 BTC with collateral. on: December 30, 2020, 12:51:36 PM
0.025 BTC if someone can take over it. PM

After all the advice and suggestions of members here, you insist to try to sell your domain through a loan. I suggest to lock it now and move on.

the value of this domain rapidly drops. From 0.1 to 0.025 in just 10 days.
I am wondering, whether he would get any offer even if he asked 0.001 BTC for this domain and website. Probably no.
5153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: December 29, 2020, 11:52:32 PM
Congratulations to Idena as one of the most active thread here in Bitcointalk the volume is still good and so is the price I'm looking forward to activating my identity again I have a long rest mining, 2021 is going to be a good year for Idena, I'm sure of this.

Anyone here has a code to send and what's your requirement so I can have one wallet is now syncing

I have one code free if you still need it. if I understood you well, you already had validated wallet here but you left him, can you tell me why? I guess no one wants to waste invite code to someone's who it is not certain that it will be regular on the validation.
Still have one free invite if you want I will send it to you. You can contact me through PM or on telegram @examplens. I would like to be sure that is everything okay with your wallet, synchronized etc...
5154  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: codecanyon.net subscription on: December 29, 2020, 10:08:12 PM
I need a little help. Does anyone have monthly or yearly subscription of codecanyon.net? I need some template/scripts to download, if you can help then please PM me.

Cheers,

Do you want legal or illegal options for download?
I may not be allowed to share links here but try to search for "group buy SEO tools" + codecanyon. I think you will find organized buying licenses and as I know there were offers for a shared monthly license for codecanyon, just for a few bucks.
5155  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: akminers.com legit site on: December 29, 2020, 10:00:41 PM
Looking at how the site looks like and their low online presence[1] (odd for a service that started operating in 2018)... I'd suggest staying away from it.

[1] https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5038441.300

here is obviously a new kind of deception. It is evident that with the growth of Bitcoin value growing interested in bitcoin mining which opened up a new possibility for fraudsters. I find many threads where "innocent" people asking about the credibility of some mining hardware webshops, but they all look very similar and mostly offer it for slightly less money than real value. The next thing that happens is that some complete Newbies here, asking for advice is it legit, no shilling, just asking but still promote suspicious webshop and give them authority backlink from this forum.

if it looks a little more carefully just on the first page of the Service Discussion section, there are several topics with the same question.

Barrique wine and fine! https://www.barriquenis.rs/

5157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 29, 2020, 05:13:55 PM

I do not see how they can play the next two weeks then because is quarantine not for 2 weeks or 10 days minimum? So how will the games progress in this case? Will teams be forced to field a second team of B players/reserves? Does not seem fair but I guess this is why all players have to respect quarantine rules.

They have healthy 14 players which are enough for regular matches. But there is a risk, probably all of the players were in contact with the infected. therefore, the incubation period must pass. So as not to risk that they may transmit the disease further to Everton players or any other teams. They must be quarantined for a few days because many of them are not infected but still at risk.
Probably next game against Chelsea will be played normally.
5158  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Livecoin on: December 29, 2020, 05:05:34 PM
Probably the haven of scamcoins and ponzi schemes. The only exchange that kept offering bitconnect trading for months after the ponzi collapsed.
Holds a vast amount of shit/scam coins, only traded on their exchange. (OTN, DIG, GOAL and around 200 more useless scamcoins).

I sense an exit-scam soon after they trap a few newbies with their latest promotion. They will probably say they got hacked and they lost all funds. Same recipe as cryptopia probably, another home of scamcoins.

Came back just because I remembered I posted this last year.

I also remember many of you were part of this scam exchange promotion. And many of you that claim to be ethical and always do due diligence you were promoting this scam.
I just hope that my warning as well as everyone else that made a post about this scam have at least helped a few people not to lose their money.
Peace out.

you could have written that in one of the many threads in which the discussion about Livecoin and his latest update. Okay, you had a right in something when you saying 1.5year ago, but do we really need another one discussion about Livecoin.
We still do not know is it real hack here or it's just another exit scam case.
5159  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Visa Cards Are Now Available in Europe on: December 29, 2020, 05:01:09 PM
My experience with Binance card.

Last week I have receive an email that my card is ready to be issued and I immediately ordered it. This morning I've checked my mailbox and found and envelope there with the card. Got my card in less than 1 week. It was delivered from Germany via Deutsche post.

I've transferred small amount of funds from spot account to the card just to test it. To be precise 18$ worth Swipe (SXP) tokens. Then I've finished my work and went out for a lunch. I've tried to check my card balance on the ATM screen but it just spit my card out. Tried to withdraw 10 EUR several times - got my card back again. Tried 5 EUR - same result. Then I took a risk and entered local shop (wearing mask of course) and tried to use it to pay for my purchase (around 1.5 EUR) - had to capitulate and use regular card...

Not satisfied, 1/5 stars just for quick delivery and easy UI on binance.com

so you failed to use it on ATM or POS terminal, right?
Did you check on Binance, maybe you need to activate it first, or you've already done it?
I didn't look in their app but maybe also there you need to enable using the card for offline payments, ATM etc...
