Fajardo the best player in the PBA is not joining the bubble but good news he starts his own training too for his comeback.

Fajardo returns to SMB practice court flashing three-point shooting touch

Quote
JUNE Mar Fajardo took a huge step in his recovery from a leg injury as he stepped on the court for the first time in eight months this week.

While the rest of San Miguel returned to practice at the Angeles University Foundation gym in Clark, Pampanga, the SMB cornerstone continued his own comeback bid at the Acropolis gym in Quezon City, putting up some shots with the help of assistant coach Boycie Zamar and staff Andrew Bulahan.

The six-time MVP showed his progress from tibia surgery in his newest video on his Youtube channel AHOS gaming on Thursday, entitled “FINALLY!! Nakabalik na din sa court!”

“After eight long months nakabalik na din sa court. Slowly but surely lang,” Fajardo said. “Salamat sa lahat ng mga prayers nyo at suporta, naappreciate ko kayo ng husto!”

Of course, money is involved.

Did you see an exhibition match wherein they are not after the money? lol.

So let's not take this fight as the worst match or be against this. Good thing, Manny Pacquaio will put some of his earnings on this fight on the charity. That was the most important thing.

He is a real Hero of the Filipino, imagine, this would affect his legacy as a boxer and yet he is willing to take the fight to donate the earnings to the Filipino.
We are talking of not less than $100 million dollars here the fight will generate if the expectation is correct, so that's already a big help.

There's nothing to discuss on who will win as it's so obviously but we can always discuss the reason or purpose why Manny would fight Conor.

Me either. I don't want to judge.
5163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any truly safe bets in sports betting? on: October 03, 2020, 10:43:56 AM
Are these bets as safe as they seem? Would you go for this strategy or not? Why?

It only looks like that this is "safer". In reality, odds like 2.5-2.9 are often win, so another side with 1.1-1.2 will lose such games. It's not enough just to look odds and bet to some outcome. You need to know a sport which you're betting on. Because sometimes books calculate odds in a weird way, so strong team will get winning odd like 2.1 and more weak - 1.2 . In that case you will lose your money pretty sure.

Knowledge is the strongest weapon and the safer way to get money in betting. Not odds
Actually I have seen that Table Tennis is one game where the underdog actually wins more than the favorite player. I don't know if that happens only with me or that happens with everyone but betting on TT I have lost more than 80% bets on favorite and by favorites I mean like odds of 1.35 are never safe on table tennis. So yeah it depends what sports you bet on because in a sport like NBA you would hardly see a huge upset and likely to win more on the favorites.

Pick wisely and sports with single player like tennis table tennis are more dangerous to bet on low odds, because a single player might have a say off but it is unlikely a favorite team will suddenly have all their players having a bad day. I mean it is hard for a team to loose against a weaker opponent while much easier for a single player to loose a game.

Not only in tennis actually, all kinds of sports, 1.35 looks safe but it was never, you only have a higher chance of winning but winning is not guaranteed. I know you know that based on your experience, but for those who does not have an experience, they might find it attractive and might experiment on it.

The longer we play we get curious and will try different strategy but we will understand in the long run that risk is always present regardless what odds we pick.
5164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Haney vs Gamboa WBC World Lightweight Title on: October 03, 2020, 07:47:56 AM
Haney for the win here, he might KO Gamboa here. Gamboa is already way past his prime, and he is just being used by a lot of incoming fighters are a stepping stone. This is another get busy fight for Haney, as he is looking for a Ryan Garcia clash in the future. There's no more pop on Gamboa, he is no longer have that fast hands. This will be an easy fight for Haney.

Let's see, I'm waiting for the odds, if I get an odds like +500 for Gamboa, I would certainly take it, I'm doing it blindly, I'll trust his little chance of winning in this fight, he has been in many battles in the past, this should not be new to him.

Great news!

Heat's Bam Adebayo plans to play Game 3 of NBA Finals: 'I'm feeling better. I believe I'll play'
Take Miami Heat now, they are current +9, Miami will try to win one game here, with Bam, Heat are a better team.

This is what like to see, I was already expecting that Bam would play in game 3 as he was present in the court in game 2, so hopefully he will not suffer injury again to at least give the Lakers a hard game, those last two games were too easy for the Lakers, there seems to be less defense in this game, it's a high scoring game, very unusual for a finals series.
5166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting small amounts on a lot of matches or big amount on couple of matches? on: October 02, 2020, 08:25:03 AM
Ofcourse, as long as you are profitable bettor . The important thing is to lessen risk as much as possible by learning/understanding how to bet on games/competitions... and testing or betting with amount you can afford to lose to be certain before betting with huge amounts

You call yourself profitable, you don't minimize the risk, you maximize your income, that's the best way to do. Not everyone can be profitable, there are some but we call them professionals or those who are making a living in gambling which most of us wish but we fail to achieve it.
5167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: October 01, 2020, 11:12:27 PM
Yeah Manny has high chances if winning.

It is funny to read that Manny has chances to win. A guy that trained boxing for his entire life and is one of unique fighters has chances over a rookie in boxing and has only 1 boxing fight. A chance against a guy that did not do any fighting sport for half of his life. A chance against a guy that likes to drink and smoke (Tyson Fury is an exception).

I second the motion Hahahah Grin Cheesy chance are we talking about chance ?

Oh well, I think if the fight will not be rigged then the chance of losing for Manny is slim, though he's fighting for charity works, most probably he will aim to win and bag much bigger money to help those people who are in need due to this pandemic virus.

Chance for Conor to win is very slim, but there's always a chance since Manny is also human despite looks god in boxing. You know, what if Manny got injured in the fight and Conor would dominate him due to that injury, so that makes Conor as a winner, but then, there's only a slim chance of happening but wouldn't bet anyway of Manny's odds, unless there's an odds available to know Conor as that's likely to happen.
5168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 01, 2020, 10:52:30 PM
Yeah, prohibiting fist bumps is nonsense as asf. Not to mention that almost everyone's bodies are bumping with each other the whole game as they defend or attack the rim. If they mean this prohibition, why not require the players to wear mask the whole game too? haha, kidding aside, I'm excited to watch PBA again, I hope everyone will enjoy and be thrilled again just like before.

Fist bumps and high fives aren't prohibited. Players won't be penalized for doing that. It's just that they want to discourage players from doing that.

But either way, that's nonsense! I don't know what kind of strict protocols is that. And that idea came from the BCDA President itself which supported by the PBA commissioner. I always remember the DILG Chief when it comes to a protocol like that lol.

Wearing facemask shouldn't also a mandatory requirement for players but it's a must for those speculators and team staffs.

It's non sense really if they don't allow that since they are already the bubble and they were tested before they get in, and the fact that they can't go out, they are very safe from the virus, if they follow the format of the NBA,  then it should be allowed.
5169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: October 01, 2020, 09:10:17 AM
It appears that Pacman and Conor might be the promoters of this fight. I am not certain how trustworthy is this journalist, however. The source was not mentioned.

In any case, I am hoping for the MMA fans to hype Conor for better odds on Pacman hehehe.

Statement from Senator @MannyPacquiao (1 of x): “At the present time, I do not have an existing management contract with @AudieAttar. I have formed my own company, Pac Sports and Entertainment, and am more than willing to give the fans what they want: (MORE)

Senator @MannyPacquiao statement (2 of 2): An exciting fight with @TheNotoriousMMA under terms and conditions where I am the co-promoter with my company. Thank you and God bless.”

Source https://twitter.com/kevini/status/1311459512964935682?s=21

It's not gonna happen, everyone knows Conor has no chance of beating Pacman, he isn't as good as Mayweather and what I like about Conor is he never back down and with that, he is a good target for Manny's power punch and he might kneel to the king of boxing if the fight happen.

Even if we all speak out, create a petition, I see no reason for casinos to listen to us. They make money, why should they think about the mental health of their clients? The worse it is, the more money the casino gets.
~

I strongly disagree with this. First off, if you think that casinos are so evil, stop working for them. But I have a good news for you, they are not interested in worsening of the mental health of their clients. Quite the contrary, they want as many as possible of healthy clients playing on their platforms, and losing only what they can afford to lose. In that scenario casinos can keep profiting from the house edge. But if the percentage of addicted gamblers crossed a certain threshold(it is below 5% currently), gambling would be banned by the legislation of most countries. And casinos definitely don't want that to happen.

I do not blame or say that casinos are to blame for all the troubles. It is a fact that most of all profits are brought to them by dependent players, otherwise you would have significantly fewer people going to the casino than we see now. The question is about the mental health of an individual, not how casinos affect it.
~

Are you sure this is a fact? Because I'm not. I think it is a myth created by media, TV series, books and movies. Why do they try to sell it? Because it sells! People love stories about villains, who profit of the misery of others. So they make up such stories even when there is little to no factual ground for that.

I think it is more likely that most of the profits comes from most of the gamblers, and most gamblers, about 95% of them, are not addicted.

That's 100% accurate, I agree with it, because if we think casinos are making money from people who suffers from their loses, them simply casinos or gambling industry will not grow as our government will ban it.

I love to support our fellow here but I can't seem to find the betting odds so I can put my bet while watching it?

Anyone knows? as I've seen looking around in crypto sportsbook but can't find one.

Looking for that match also in some sportsbooks here but to no avail. The fight date is fast approaching so I think fiat-based bookies are picking this up not crypto bookies yet. Is this match not really popular to gain some traffic on their site? Let's find out tomorrow...

We have a local sportsbook but I did not use it as I get used to gambling with crypto, it's more easier and anonymous, that's really what I like to experience, but if there's no odds for this fight, I might be force to used them but as of now I can't recall the name, I'll just check it.

Free deposits are good there are many barriers to deposit because it is not allowed in all countries in that case if it is allowed in all countries then the demand will increase every user wants to play casino games from different places and if they have all kinds of game knowledge it is very easy to withdraw and there will be no problem with the license. It is better to allow everywhere to increase the convenience and interest of users.

Definitely not all countries, but many countries. In case you haven't read the thread link above, here's the complete list of countries allowed.

Hi Everyone,

Nice to be part of the community.

Just some clarification. So the winner of this competition (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5278352.0) will get BTC0.05, not BTC0.01?

I read this one so it's quit confusing to me.

NOTE:

For this first week only (Sunday is tomorrow), the prize is 0.01BTC

Apologize for the inconvenience but instructions from management were not understood correctly

Thanks for the new info, I didn't know that, I thought they didn't change name, so only Alaska and Ginebra did not change their name, right?

BGSM also changed its team name before. If my memory serves me right, they changed to Gordon's Gin to promote the brand alongside the popular San Miguel Gin (the classic).

Mobiline Phonepals to Talk N Text. (Asi Taulava's Prime)

Welcoat Paint to Rain Or Shine. (a former PBL team)

Petron Blaze Master (SMB) - after the company bought the majority of the share of Petron Corp (that was big news back then).

Don't know about Alaska but I'm 100% sure Aces is not the original team name. Damn, I remembered my 90s conversation with my fellow PBA enthusiast in our hometown. Smiley

Wow, that was very impressive, you still remember that? How old  are you man? that's crazy, a crazy FAN. haha.

I wish I was also an avid fan of the PBA, I just got so interested with it when I was already in college and start betting on it, and now I got a family, I'm still doing it, I just love PBA because it's easy to predict, and they say PBA is a fraud and that's more I like it.
5176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Micah - Sept 26 on: September 27, 2020, 10:42:55 AM
That's a disrespect to Inoue, he should take the fight, unless he is afraid.

I don't think it's disrespectful to Inoue, remember that English is not Casimero's first language obviously. We have seen worst, Floyd or Conor is way disrespectful to their opponent. He is just expressing the need for Inoue to really face him in the future, because he wanted to show that Inoue is not the monster that everyone wanted to project. And Casimero has proven that he can back up all this pre and post trash talk.

I wouldn't say this is an easy fight for Casimero, Micah offer him a lot in the first round. But obviously, Casimero is giving everything in his punch and it's very heavy. Micah has a chin as well, but it is the body shot that really take everything from him.

Have you watch the video? Casimero calling Inoue Motherfucker, I don't think that's something not disrespectful.

Well, maybe Oilacris is right too, it depends on how we interpret it, but the word "Motherfucker" is not hard to interpret, lol.
5177  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🍀Lucky.lat🍀 - Bets verifier for Luckybit on: September 27, 2020, 07:33:29 AM
very nice, this is certainly useful, maybe luckybit could also use this for their gamblers and add it in their ANN thread so everyone can see easily.

Great job, I read some post in gambling discussion board from someone asking for an independent bet verifier for sites who offers provably fair gambling, maybe if you can make for other gambling site, you can comply it, that if you have more time and you aren't tired of sharing your knowledge.
5178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Micah - Sept 26 on: September 27, 2020, 07:01:02 AM
It's over now, Casimero stop Micah in the third round. He already did his part, now Inoue will have to win his, so that we might see the two in 2021.

I was not able to find a live streaming but if I would it would still be late as the fight was finish early.

Nice win by casimero, it's a good KO win, and now I'm more convince why Inoue fight with him was cancelled, I'm sure he will give Inoue some big trouble.

You have a point though as he is already talking now, he badly want Inoue to fight him.

Casimero calls out 'scared' Inoue after vicious third-round stoppage of Micah

Quote
JOHN RIEL Casimero of the Philippines turned heads in his US television debut, scoring a vicious third-round stoppage of Ghana's Duke Micah to retain his WBO bantamweight championship on Sunday morning.

Casimero, 31, dropped the previously unbeaten Micah in the second round with a left hook before stopping him for good in the third round of one of the featured title fights at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut.

The impressive TKO win put a happy ending to a seven-month stay in the US for Casimero, who headed overseas to prepare for a mega-fight against Japan's Naoya 'Monster' Inoue only to see it postponed a couple of times before being shelved for good.

To celebrate, and as if to show he barely broke a sweat in the TKO win, Casimero did six one-hand pushups inside the ring to the delight of the crowd.

Casimero's first order of business after the win was call out Inoue.

"I'm the real monster. Naoya Inoue is scared of me. You're next. I would have knocked out anyone today," Casimero told CBS Sports. "If Inoue doesn't fight me, then I'll fight Guillermo Rigondeaux, Luis Nery, or any of the top fighters."

And look at that mask, do you see a Wilder here?

it seems that my country is blocked from your platform well it's good that you are blocking users that is prohibited rather than closing and confiscating the fund of users if they were detected lately in your website. i hope i soon you would allow some countries to use your platform i really like to test and try your no deposit free bet.

You can check the list of countries are allowed to access the site.

There's a bunch of countries which are allowed to access, I don't know if they are getting a good number of gamblers if they have a lot of countries ban to access the site.
