5161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Ioka Dec 31 on: December 29, 2021, 12:13:12 PM
Here is an update, the fight is not going to happen. But our very own Jerwin will face Argentina’s Fernando Daniel Martinez in February.

While Ioka fellow Japanese fighter Ryoji Fukunaga.

Quote
BoxingScene.com has learned that the long-reigning IBF junior bantamweight titlist will next face Argentina’s Fernando Daniel Martinez in a bout tentatively scheduled to take place on a February date in the United States. The likely date is February 19, with Rappler.com reporting either New York or New Jersey as the destination.

https://www.boxingscene.com/jerwin-ancajas-fernando-daniel-martinez-ibf-title-fight-set-february-us--163094

So I guess the fight between Ioka and Ancajas can still happen next year if both fighters win their respective fights.

5163  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bullish Scenario - Minimum will reach $75000 on: December 28, 2021, 02:53:24 PM
Op I don't believe in your analysis because there is a indication of a downward trend only if you know what each and every candle stick stand for. Although, everyone is entitled to his or her opinion and that is why I see those who believe in your analysis are given you merit but in time we shall see the end result of this analysis if actually we have seen the last bottom.
Actually, Bitcoin price analysis can be done by anyone. The most important thing in making an analysis is understanding the basic concepts. In my analysis, each candle stick represents a specific price movement, according to the time frame. Therefore, let's see in the future whether this bullish scenario occurs. You need to know that in a bitcoin bullish or bearish scenario, nothing has been proven accurately. may happen may not happen.
somehow I believe bitcoin will hit 75K like the analysis you made ! 2022 could all happen seeing the price in the last few weeks strong at the level of 40K up to 51K ,hopefully in two weeks from now coinciding between this year and next year bitcoin will remain at that level ,because 75k should be able ! ah hope the wind doesn't turn far from where it is too in 2022

We are not below $50k, so as I have said, the run up to $51k is a fake breakout to be honest.

However, we have still the New Year, so I'm expecting the price to still go up a bit and a shade above $50k at the end of the year.

But that could be the last push we are going to see as we might see a bad 2022, just saying.

Maybe it will be the start of a bear season.
5164  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Signal Notifications on: December 28, 2021, 02:05:21 AM
However I seem to be spending forever looking through 100s of coins to find a perfect buy opportunity.
You can use a trading bot so you could scan pairs that would satisfy your existing strategy.

For example, if you are using four emas, you are just waiting for them to cross each other; you could automate it and then select the market pairs you want, and it would trade for you. You need to set up the trading limit (which is the amount of capital you deal per trade), then just be updated in Telegram. You can also set coins and strategies through Telegram. It makes your life easier.

The bot that I'm talking about is Gunbot, and you have the opportunity to see what it can do and see the other features it has to offer. I can assist you if you want.

Yes, gunbot for one is a good trading bot, although you will have a learning curve in the beginning before you can learn how to used it properly, but the support is superb.

As for finding a gem, isn't it the challenge though? I mean it will all be satisfying that after scanning so many coins out there and you narrow it down to just a few and it turns out that your hunch in correct and it become one that gives you huge profit, I think that is going to be worth in the end.

Daming laro bukas, bawi nalang tayo.

Hornets vs Rockets - Hornets -5.5

Parlay 3.15
5166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is really controlling the Bitcoin market. on: December 27, 2021, 02:03:30 PM
People always say that they are are waiting for the price of Bitcoin go down before they go into the market for trading and at the same time nobody can predict the market.
Now is the market been manipulated? Or it all depends on the numbers of investors who invested.
There is something we need to understand about Bitcoin.

There is a school of thoughts that the whales control the market, but how they control and move everything is the big question. Are they colluding which each other? because I doubt that a single whale can shake up the market is that is what you are trying to say.

The more the demand of Bitcoin the more the increase take place. Can anyone predict the market?
Because people are waiting for the decrease in price and are they predicting the market or not?
I don't think have a better understandingn on how Bitcoins

Basically based on the tenants of economics: supply and demand.

As far as predicting the price, no one can "accurately" says what will be the price. Everyone is just making a wild and educated guess.
5167  Economy / Speculation / Re: How far can bitcoin price correction go? on: December 27, 2021, 01:09:06 PM
I think this year's price correction is over. bitcoin in price status holds until waiting for strong support for the start of the new year. The bear market is heating up and is filling up the strong material to be able to break through the new ATH in 2022.

What we are witnessing is another bounce, Bitcoin is moving giving those last week takers a very decent profits.

We can't conclude or there's no solid proof that this market momentum is now for good, and the bearish run is already finished, at any moment

in time this market can start back and experienced corrections.  Best to make a good use of the situation if you have spare money to play.

I'm not too convince that the bear market is over, it's just around the corner as bitcoin has not fully recovered yet, maybe if it will go back to $60k then I might believe that it's still bullish and it's going to make a new ATH next year, for now, it's still uncertain, market could go sideways at the moment.

I echo your sentiments, as much as we don't want a bear market, it's just around the corner. This pump to $51k doesn't look normal to me as it might just be giving us false signals about an incoming bear market next year.

So better be cautious specially going on the last week of December, I'm expecting still some spike in the price but it might be the last one that we are going to see as we might plunge into a bearish trend after that.
5168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Thurman vs Barrios - Feb 5 on: December 27, 2021, 11:47:37 AM

That's right, betting has to be taken seriously because we are risking money, there are fights that we choose to watch only but would not put our bet because we are not confident with our prediction or we just don't see the value for us to win. For me, this is a big fight and I will never miss watching this and I'm surely gonna put my bet. As I am impressed with Thurman's performance against pacquioa although he lose, so I would put my bet on him to win this fight.

And as a bettor, it is our responsibility to carefully assess the fighter that we will be going to put our bets on because we are totally taking the risk of putting our money in the hand of a fighter if he wins then you will also gonna win. With regards to the upcoming fight of Thurman vs. Barrios, referring to their fight record and base on their fight experiences I believe that both are capable to put each other into a knock-out win. Both are also has a single loss, this will be a challenging fight for the two fighters but at this time I will going to favor on Thurman's side.

I guess the majority of us here would go for Thurman to win this fight. For me, if Thurman was not inactive after his fight with Pacquiao, he would definitely not gonna go down hard in ranking, so this is his chance to come back and be a good challenger to the champions. So without a doubt, no changing of mind, I'm with Thurman 100% to win.

Yes mate, as I have said in the beginning of the thread, Thurman even if inactive for more than two years, still is being rank very high even in the top 3 or top 4 in the rankings.

And so when he decided to fight again, he will be the heavy favoured against an inexperience Barrios at this weight category. So yes, based on the comments, no doubt that Thurman is most likely to win the fight with a knock out.
5169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 27, 2021, 08:27:27 AM
Not much interesting game tomorrow. But maybe Wizards vs Sixers might be a good one. Wizards have been on a losing streak and they will try to break it against the Sixers. However, without their top scorer in Beal, it will be very difficult, so I'm picking the Sixers here, -3.5 with odds of 1.90. I think it's already attractive to most bettors here.

Yep, I think it's a juicy odds already, might as well parlay this to other games to make it more attractive.

Miami vs Orlando, I will go with Miami, Butler and Tucker might play in this game so that is a big boost already for them.

So I will have a parlay betting here, Miami -8.5 + Sixers -3.5 for a good 3.67 odds.

Well, I have my parlay too, I will take the Wizards and the Clippers. I'm betting on the underdog so it will have a better odds, it's not I bet because of the high odds but I also believe that the underdog being the home team has a great value.

Unfortunately, both of them lost though, Wizards and Clippers.

So yeah, I was able to get a good recovery from that good with with Miami + Sixers parlay. Butler playing was the big difference in their win.

I wasn't able to watch the Sixers vs Washington, but Beal is absent, so that's an easy pick for the Sixers to win comfortably.
5170  Economy / Gambling / Re: Self-exclusion/ban who to be blame on: December 26, 2021, 11:33:01 PM
In my opinion, the player is at fault and some of those who request for such a ban on accounts are either suffering from gambling addiction which may have taken over their reasoning if not why should you go ahead to deposit on an account you request a closer one?

They are obviously suffering from a gambling addiction, specially if they keep on losing big money on that casinos. And that's why their decisions are clouded, their logics seems to be questionable at this point and you can't really understand why he still deposited some money when he already ask for self-exclusion? And we are talking here a online casinos not the land base one. In land base if you are ban, you can't enter their premises period. But here, you can simply deposit, then play again even if you are self-excluded.
5171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hoddle or day trading on: December 26, 2021, 10:50:20 PM
I have some altcoins I bought at the ICO stage which did x pricee movement and now are dead while others are still at a stable price but I will like to make some profits at this time should I continue holding or start trading them to make instant profits what will be your advice in this situation.

Well the profit taking should be during the huge boom of ICO in 2018 because some of them are really dead as you have said. Anyway, my piece of advise is that you should sell them and move to other coins that has been going up instead of letting your capital sleep on those dead coins. But before moving, choose wisely, DYOR on my next projects are you going to invest, best of luck.
5172  Economy / Speculation / Re: TA shows potential bullish breakout - if history repeats on: December 26, 2021, 01:49:27 PM
The price really goes down from the last all time high we got. But hopefully next year will be different and that the covid-19 will be over so that we can see the market rally again without this news around.
Yeah I remember that by the times of this Omicron variant was identified, bitcoin was trading around $58k levels but market reacted to that and then bitcoin slide down to below $50k levels within a week time of span. I guess only retail investors might have pulled down their investments but long term holders might have continued which is the reason we managed to stay above $45k levels; otherwise we might have experienced fall-down up to $30k levels.

Now, it seems the time for recovery and then new ATH. I just do not want another ATH within $70k levels. I just dream about a big leap toward $90k to $100k. If history repeats then it should be a copy of what we had in 2017 and not just what we had some weeks back.

Who wouldn't want a huge uptick on price to 6 digits? And that's what we are expecting for this year because many speculators have pointed out that it can be done this year. Unfortunately, we are blinded by this Omicron variant that put a lot of selling pressures in the market as you have pointed out, from $58k to $43k, that's a huge lost for us. Nevertheless, who knows, maybe a conservative $70k can still be hit next year or even higher.

And it wouldn't be healthy though in the long run if we see a massive run to $100k.

I'm not against it though, but for me, we might get to it maybe in the next 2-4 months and that will be the safest increase to 6 digits. Unlike the prediction for this year, they are saying that 6 digits can be reached, however, if we look at the price in October we are like in the $60k'ish and they said that $90kish in November and then more than $100k in December (which didn't happen). But in any case we hit that price in December, we might see a massive downward spiral next.
5173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: December 26, 2021, 12:24:18 PM
We will eventually see the fight between Casimero and Inoue since both fighters will likely stay on their current weight division and as they beat each other opponents, they leave no choice but to finally step on the ring to fight each other. They really need to make it happen since they want total glory and the fans wanted them to prove who is the best in this era. I think this is enough for Casimero because he already took down lots of opponents to catch the big fish, Inoue. They really need to consider making it happen before those passed their primes.

Hopefully, I heard news that Casimero is having a hard time getting into the scale with this current weight. So I'm thinking he is really getting bigger and heavier as he age so we don't know how long will he stay in this weight class to wait either Donaire or Inoue for a mega fight.

I remember him calling out the champions in higher weight class as well so that is the sign that he is willing to go up in weight and might not be comfortable in the bantam.

If money talks then maybe Casimero will have enough time to wait and fight either one of them.

Plus, the WBO champion in the next weight class Stephen Fulton might be too big for him.

So I think the money fight is still him and Inoue or Donaire. Might be better if he can unify the belt in the bantamweight before he can go up in weight.

5175  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: We have the right tools but many don't know how to use them on: December 26, 2021, 11:22:46 AM
Coinmarketcap and coingecko are enough to solve scam problems if you are a newbie, you don't have to ask anyone for link to official website, contract address or telegram channel coinmarketcap and coingecko got you covered, no more fake contract address and buying fake tokens on uniswap, we have the right tools but many don't know how to use them.

Well you have to understand where the questions is coming from, and most probably it is from a newbie in crypto who didn't dig enough and wanted to get all the info by asking and spoon feed. Although its good to answer them from time to time, however, I don't like the idea of spoon feeding. Let them do and research first. So it might take some though before they ever knew what cmc or coingecko is or where to look at the correct places.
5176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 26, 2021, 10:44:27 AM
How bout the Suns and the Warriors game?

Warriors proved that they are a better team and it seems that Curry was in a mission to proved himself in this game as he started to hit his three point shots. And although the Suns with CP3 trying to make a comeback and even take a lead, the Warriors didn't have a meltdown and then another hero on their side, Otto Porter hitting dagger threes to close out the game.

Agree, it was Steph who keeps them afloat in the game and even if the Suns took the lead, they are still compose and I don't have a doubt that with the way Steph is shooting that night, the Warriors are going to win against the Suns even at their home floor. Porter has one of his best game so far, and even trolls the Suns bench, hehehe. And win this win, the Dubs are now on top of the West division.

<..>
Inoue vs Donaire is a good match if it will happen I think Donaire must focus on training so that he has a chance to win against the king of their division. Inoue must be careful also cause we all know that Donaire is a counter puncher.
Back to the topic about magsayo and Russell yes This is the big fight of Magsayo's career and they must be trained harder. In this fight I will bet magsayo too.

I think it's not about the question of training, for sure Magsayo is giving everything he got in his training because this will be his biggest test so far.

It's more of having the biggest heart in the ring, he should be positive that he can beat his American opponent even though he is the underdog here. He has the burden to prove that he is elite and will become the next biggest fighter in this division. So he has to accept and embrace the challenge.
5179  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Ilunga Makabu on: December 25, 2021, 07:45:02 PM
Just inserting Eddie Hearn's opinion about Canelo's career jump on cruiserweight. Hearn is known to promote Canelo Alvarez, but their relationship is somewhat different, as far as I know there is no contract between them. It's that the Canelo chooses him at this point as his de-facto promoter.

Quote
“I personally think Canelo should look to become undisputed at 175. And I think he can do it. To be undisputed in two weight classes will be incredible, and I think that’s a move that will be very exciting.

“So whether you’re Dmitry Bivol or whether you’re Joe Smith and whether you’re Artur Beterbiev, you hope that Canelo Alvarez will give you that call to give you the opportunity to be in a mega-fight.”

https://www.boxingscene.com/eddie-hearn-says-canelo-alvarez-resume-career-175--163028

As other's have been calling here, Canelo should stick to 175 lbs and become undisputed. And it will be history if he does become undisputed in 2 weight classes.
5180  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is still in a downward trend, will it last long or temporarily? on: December 25, 2021, 01:00:36 PM
$50k is a big barrier to break and for sure everyone is very happy to see the price finally getting into $51k. But I don't know I have a feeling that his could be a bull trap and not a bullish sign. We still have the end of the year push though, if this price maintain this week, maybe $52k or $54k might be the final price for this year. So still very good if we can end the year getting green at least. And then we all look forward to 2022 and hopefully we can still go and reach new ATH.

It’s like that debate between looking at the the glass half-empty, or the glass half-full. In my opinion, the bull trap is actually an opportunity, maybe one of the last, to buy Bitcoin below $50,000. Before six digits.

The glass is half-full. Cool

Yeah, others look it that way, they are afraid because they think the price will go down because it's a trap, or we remain bullish all thru next year and the price hits six digits.

Still 50/50, but in any case, still a win win situation, if it goes down then grab that opportunity to fill your bags and hold for long term, simply as that.
