... in der nächsten Blase werden noch einige von uns Milionär!

schaut was ich euch mitgebracht habe:

5186  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: announcement: the international "when-bitcoin-reaches 1000,- $ party" on: December 15, 2013, 06:42:31 PM
To save money on lodging, we should just have a giant slumber party. We can gossip, try on makeup, and compare our moobs (man boobs).

And, in the spirit of The Tutu Project, every male dons a pink tutu.

If you make them accept my donation, I'll wear one to the party Wink

we should bribe mr oberman. it'd be worth it ... Grin

Don't do it guys.

It's ostentatious a la WallStreet. I can live off of 1 BTC for two or three months down here in Argentina.

Don't throw 50 away ! It makes me cringe..

They have ridiculous amounts of money, and the money won't be destroyed here, it would just change hands.

I don't know man... it sure reminds me of the phone talks of Enron's traders (someone posted the documentary here yesterday, thanks btw!).

I'm pretty sure that's not the path our new BTC rich should take.

that is just some free entertainment from nice guys. i love it.
if you are holding/selling bitcoins you are betting with much more than they do (relatively)

i guess that is what the waring about others having posted already is all about...   Grin
5190  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 14, 2013, 12:13:03 AM
$200 is easy as fuck, but i still dont get what this has to do with the claim btc WILL go down 50%

(good that I didnt close this yet) Wink

If you are willing to bet on the low point of BTC, I can do that also.

Do you pay me 2 to 1 in USD that Bitcoin will visit $450 in either Gox/Bitstamp in 3 months?

You lose, I get $50k.
I lose, you get $25k.

hmm, let me think about this for a second. I'm kind of wondering why you need 2 to 1 odds when you were so sure before.

c'm on guys ... get it settled.

panem et circenses

is what we want.

hartes schicksal....  Cry

yes, except for flight and if you want more that very basic accomondation.

No problem with that , as long as "basic accomodation"  is not a hostel

Everybody understands that *if* this maintains itself (or go better) next week will be rising like hell... right?

No. Math says that it takes 10x more everything to make the price rise from 10x higher level.

We do not have 10 times more anything, compared to last summer. 5 times we have, so the price is overvalued by a factor of 2, and will go down -50%.

I have thousands of lines of research on the subject but nobody reads it anyway so why even post...

But this is btc:-D

Btc dont care

You should be the right person to bet for BTC against me... Grin

How about:
- Will Bitstamp surpass its ATH of $1163/BTC in 2 months?

- If this price is breached, Goat wins.
- If not (until February 13th 24:00 UTC), rpietila wins.

Bet amount is $50,000, (odds 1:1) paid in bitcoins at the rate of the settlement date.

Why am I not surprised not one 'bull' has taken up this more than fair bet... Bulls? More like 'CCMF' shouting cheerleaders.

I would take it if $50,000 was the same % of my net worth as it is for rpietila. Someone might accept it, it's a pretty good bet.

tempting... problem is that i'd need to win to afford to lose  Cheesy

The word "imprint" should be replaced with "about us".

Imprint is not a correct translation of "Impressum".

will be corrected as soon as webdev awakes from coma. 48 hrs...  Grin

Thx

I hope you ain't mad that I will only buy the ticket when we're into the 27th day of the required btc-average.

not at all.

but if everyone tries to pay as late as possible it will make things complicated for us. this is crowdfunding...

on the other hand, if you pay early and the party does not fly, you will get refunded.

Can I suggest that if late payments create unnecessary complications that you start raising the price after you have reached a comfortable size audience?   this will create incentive to buy in early vs. late.     Being up front about this may help.   In the least you should consider raising the price by 100 mBTCs every day after the threshold is reached.

Somebody might remember that in my conference last May, tickets started at BTC1 and each one was BTC1 more than the previous. 8 tickets were sold. Something similar might work here also.

it would be kind of nice to go in steps of 1 btc...    Wink
we get some questions if 1 btc isn´t in fact expensive for a party. considering what kind of party it will be, it will not be expensive. but it is a sensitive question, we need to be careful.
5197  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: announcement: the international "when-bitcoin-reaches 1000,- $ party" on: December 13, 2013, 10:03:24 PM

Is "anything" included in the 1 BTC ticket price?    Wink

yes, except for flight and if you want more that very basic accomondation.

Es gibt kein eindeutigeres Kaufsignal als die Kauf-Warnung der Finanzaufsicht!

der bericht im heute journal war relativ ausgewogen.

we will do some more testing and withdraw the mbtc from the multisig address.
