522  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: *New PCI-E Based ASIC miners 1.2th/s - 1.9th's +\- 10%* on: May 23, 2013, 11:28:26 PM
who said anything about 7000 chips ? Find Someone who actually has 10+ years of cpu / chip Design, and 20 years of board design and 10 - 20 years of next generation coding who aren't children like the BFL labs guys, and we can talk.  Until then your all ID-10-Ts, just because you can Google and read articles you don't fully understand does not make you an expert.  Like i said on the 31st all your stupid remarks and trolls will get put in their places... Because then you will actually see the proof until then STFU.  I also have people who can verify i do provide amazing VPS and VPN services for CHEAP, i have not had one client yet complain about anything i have sold or offered services 2. Hell my uncle who has 30 years of programming experience wrote a custom cmd line miner program . And all he did was read this article http://spectrum.ieee.org/computing/software/bitcoin-the-cryptoanarchists-answer-to-cash and 6 hours later had a miner written that is 20% more effective for gpu mining...

When you have access to some of the most brilliant programmers / cpu / chip / board designers / anything can happen.  And we have made that happen.

Try harder.

This should be made water and dust proof.
Also why is the connection not bluetooth instead of usb? That connector will wear out.

It'll be dust proof but not water proof. The device has no battery in this version, so you cannot "just use bluetooth instead of USB".

In my 10+ years of professional computer work I have never seen a USB plug so worn it no longer works. They can withstand a long operational lifetime.

I would say for a real savings account you should maintain a true solid offline account, like the physical Bitcoins or something similar. This device helps bridge the gap to make offline spending easier for other things.

That's because 5 year old hardware is replaced & any port that survives ten years was not used much.

Micro USB ports are rated for 10,000 cycles (insertions). At ten a day that's less than 3 years. Won't be an issue for most people, but its something to think about.

Oh no battery? Didn't realize that. Smart move.

I didn't imply it was easily done, just wondering how long a micro-usb connector will last.

For 1.3btc i would want it to be waterproof.

537  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Full List of BTC4Amazon Services(Now on OTC!) on: May 15, 2013, 02:23:20 PM
His OTC name is BTC4Amazon. That's where we made the deal, on IRC.

And he changed it, ask nanotube if you don't believe me. http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewratingdetail.php?nick=BTC4Amazon does not exist.

That nick wasn't OTC registered. But he did use it.
538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be displaced by another mined coin? on: May 15, 2013, 03:50:04 AM
we will transfer the value of mined BTC to another non-mined currency. mining is inefficient, wasteful, and produces vulnerabilities. great marketing scheme and traction-generator - but we need to move on.

Dream On.

If you wish to survive - follow me. Else, perish.

Whatever you say, kid.
