Can you please post a comparison between this and Decent? I prefer your project, but I want to see your take as well.
Decent is a good project, but there are a few key differences: Upfiring strictly focuses on file-sharing. The app allows files to move freely between 2 or more peers - and the solidity smart contracts, which manage the token, distribute UFR tokens when appropriate. Users of our platform earn tokens when others download their files. DECENT is a protocol for applications and publishing of content. Decent itself doesn't do anything as an application - it simply allows others to build apps on top of it. It functions similarly to an Ethereum/Solidity development framework. It is a solid project in and of itself, but definitely different than Upfiring. I appreciate your answer. Since Decent is distinctly different from Upfiring, is there any other competition which are much more like Upfiring? I'm curious who your biggest competitor is, and what differentiates you. I think vTorrent is the only competitor, but I don't know were this project stands at the moment. What we need is an anonymous encrypted P2P sharing plattform to compete with one-click-hoster. |

NOW: 1 H2O token = 5 kWh, ICO: 1 H2O token costs 0.01 ETH. At the moment this is about 3.40 USD. You are selling 5 kWh for 3.40 USD (0,68 USD/kWh)?

The two you are referring are two different approach on distributing profits for the token holders. The BEFORE is at a disadvantage for token holders. Because the only use of the coin is to wait for the profit dividends from mining. The second one will help decrease the total H20 Circulating and Trading in the market/exchange. And as a token holder, you have the choice to: Spend it to Hydrominer to mine and to trade(the usual average crypto buy-low-sell-high guy). The kWh you are talking about in the new token specification, actually includes hash mining power and other operational expenses. This is what i understand base on the new Whitepaper. Either one of the two, you still get a profit not in H20 coins, but in the coin of your choice. Be it Ethereum or Bitcoin. Before it was a long-term investment in their mining company with dividends and now it is nothing more than a tradeable 2 years limited mining plan with pump and dump option. Hash mining power was included in both. At the beginning this project was quite interesting to me but now I advice to stay away. There is already available profitability calculator available online. Only the Difficulty change overtime can dictate the price of H20 after the ICO. By that, you can have the option to stay away or to avail the contract. I'm with cimpex because his calculations look plausible. Any change in difficulty (good/bad) would have affected both models. There is only one thing that counts for mining operations: Price of power or included energy per token. Hydrominer offered 175 kWh, now they cut it to 5 kWh per token.  0.68 $c/kWh is way to high, better to invest in a coin of your favour. |

As well as continual work as we have grown from nothing to something. You may read it for yourselves if you inquire. Again, I apologize about all this disruption, some people have very strong feelings on Ohni. You can listen to them if you wish but we will not and will continue to grow. Thank you for your understanding in advance. Your missing the point, and avoiding the ciritisms. Why exactly does Ohni need to give access to the US government when no other coin does? Why should people trust you with their personal information? Why do you refuse to share you own real name? Why should you have the ability to freeze other peoples money at your discretion? Why should any exchange list your token (which is needed for most people to be interested and for it to gain any real value), when you have screwed the one exchange that did by freezing the wallet? This questions has to be answered ASAP! What a bad for start for a project...your homepage is beautiful. |

Etherscan zeigt alle Tokens an, die auf der Adresse liegen. Für die richtige Anzeige bei MEW musst du zum Teil Custom Token hinzufügen. eventuell könnte das nämlich zum teil erklären, warum man nur einen (bruch)teil der airdrops erhaltet an denen man teilnimmt Smiley
Bei den ganzen e-Shitcoins haben viele keine Coins bekommen. Wohl teilweise, weil den "devs" (bin nicht sicher, ob man die Personen dahinter als "devs" bezeichnen sollte) GAS zu teuer ist. |

170K eth was the ICO hardcap for 68 million ctr tokens. Max ctr token supply is 100 million. Remaining 32million is a 17/15 split wherein 17 million goes back into company 15m is held by founders held in a lockup period for 1 year and will be slowly distributed for a period of 5 years after the 1st year lockup period. Thank you for your comprehensive answer. Now the CTR price has fallen more than x2 lower than the price during ICO. Does this mean that the project has exhausted itself? I really hope not because I really love this project, for me it's one of the best at the moment. Most projects are far overestimated during pre-sale/ICO. No wonder the price is dropping below ICO. Let's have a closer look at CENTRA: Total Cap: 100M Pre-ICO: 50M sold for about 5M USD (1 ETH for 400 CTR) ICO: 18M were sold for 26M USD (1 ETH for 200 CTR) During pre-sale the ETH price was far lower than during ICO. I would have never bought at ICO price. Either at pre-sale or wait for the sweet spot. |

Bitfinex hat beim BCH Fork auch sehr gut funktioniert. Die Coins wurden schnell gut geschrieben und der Handel nicht lange danach auch schon gestartet. Mal sehen, wann es bzgl. Gold ein Announcement gibt.

Das Thema Sicherheit finde ich ja super wichtig und ich schätze dass die Hälfte dieses Forums keinen Plan diesbezüglich hat. Ich will jetzt aber ungern den Airdrops Thread damit zumüllen. Gibt es denn einen "deutschen" Thread in dem diverse Angriffsszenarien aufgezeigt werden, Schutzempfehlungen, etc.? Ansonsten würde ich so einen mal eröffnen damit man sich hier wieder auf richtige Airdrops konzentrieren kann Das ist sicher keine schlechte Idee. Seit dem ich an div. Airdrops begonnen habe teilzunehmen, steigt der ICO Spam, Pishing-Mails und "fehlgeschlagene Log-in Versuche" beim Account meiner Spam-Adresse ganz gewaltig. |

Klingt eigentlich viel zu gut um wahr zu sein. Wären ja innerhalb kürzester Zeit im Roi. Wie es ausgeschüttet wird hab ich nicht ganz gefunden. Nach der Anfangszeit muss man die halt loswerden Das Rechenbeispiel ist in Ordnung. Hinterfragen muss man den Eingangswert, nämlich den täglichen Umsatz von 40M$ wie es derzeit bei Local Bitcoins der Fall ist. Local Bitcoins gibt es bereits längere Zeit und ist entsprechend bekannt. Das ist bei ETBS nicht der Fall. |
