If I invest in BCH now, is it too late? I see the current price is slightly higher. But it is very potential.  Please give me some advice.

Yes it's too late. It's a shitcoin very manipulated full of Bshills spamming propogranda.
They are claiming for months that the flippening is happening as you can see there is no flippening at all.

I recommend you to do your own research and don't listen to anyone here that is red tagged.
Those people can't be trusted.

It seems totally irresponsible to me your bad investment advice.

Also the same shit as always, Fud and more Fud. I should read the definition of shitcoin before saying that bch is.

Bitcoin cash now has important fundamentals that make it an investment for the coming months.

haidangtp ignore him, stupidity is a very dangerous weapon.

Any time is good to invest in Bitcoin cash, in 6 months your investment will have more value, I assure you.

It would help to fight the fud if you were giving real arguments to help BCH instead of saying there are arguments

most smart asic miners switching over to TEKcash(no-segwit) it's a SHA-256 bitcoin fork that came out wayyyy before BeeCash :-D weee ===>

526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANNOUNCE] paccoin a new SHA256D coin is being introduced on: January 14, 2018, 05:33:48 PM
The client is bugged and weighted to those with the most coins. There's is a coding error in the SetBestChain logic which results from several bugs in the way the 'trust' value is calculated. You can see the code here:

https://github.com/wmcorless/paccoin/blob/master/src/main.cpp

line 2047:

Code:
if (pindexNew->bnChainTrust > bnBestChainTrust)

The glitch allows PoS blocks to "reset" the chain. You can see the impact by blocks erasing, transactions going into the void (aka. confirmed and then 0'd out), and PoW blocks disappearing into the void also. it even eat other PoS blocks. The net result is that 'old' account with more stake are able to nuke new PoS, PoW, etc. which is, obviously, not right.

Luckily, the fix is simple, only accept new PoS blocks when when their height is higher than the previous block.

Code:
if (pindexNew->bnChainTrust > bnBestChainTrust && pindexNew->nBestHeight)

Now the devs just need to make it. If not, I'll post a hardfork shortly for anyone interested in a fair coin. I mined pac the day it was launched years ago and while I applaud the new launch, this needs to be corrected.

Right now, however, the largest wallets are issuing PoS blocks out of sync by several hours but they reset and fork the chain because they have a higher 'trust' score despite being several hundred or thousand blocks behind.

This is all easily observed on the blockchain explorer look at blocks:

http://paccoinexplorer.com/block/356b009bdda2c826b57b973c753705dc0ac822bd720c7047e0fc3c5f28a81b68

and

http://paccoinexplorer.com/block/ba33cb2c216b4574ea191cadfc678e01608d085eaa2f1beb7f45921a55374fd9

The second block came first in time with a much higher height which should have controlled the chain but the link above it actually reset the height by 15 blocks erasing any PoW, PoS, and TX mined during that time.

I've been watching for a few days. If you want to observe the behavior yourself because you don't trust me (I've been a blockchain dev since long before pac actually launched) you can view the output of the latest wallet in the debug.log. Search for SetBestChain(). When the chain forks due to a PoS trust block eating previous blocks you'll see the height drop:

Code:
SetBestChain: new best=00000000000d44d98ce9  height=2622715  trust=4070805786459404226  date=01/13/18 22:53:05,block hash= 00000000000d44d98ce9fa105c6f11210ece856c62d814ba5026c11db590ce85

SetBestChain: new best=1e775ca1297f46d905c6  height=2622707  trust=4070805893862858138  date=01/13/18 22:50:10,block hash= 1e775ca1297f46d905c60735ef28fbf8aeb3102be98c7f144f39b5c4ecd6d2b4

Anyway, if the devs don't want to patch the forking issue, I will and I'll post a new wallet for anyone interested. I'd like to keep one chain but that chain needs to be fair for all of those invested.

...at least that's what I believe...

^interesting i wonder how many of these shitcoin wallets are simply run by the exchanges themselves  Roll Eyes ~cryptsy was notorious for this behavior and possibly the majority of first wave PoS algo coins were made by exchange insiders?hmm>_>just my wag*
527  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bittrex is a scam website - AVOID!- WITH PROOF!! on: January 14, 2018, 04:43:52 PM
''Confirmed scammers'' That's not really true, they are just really unprofessional. Unfortunately the only way to get your coins/money back is by providing them with your personal information. At the end of the day most exchanges will ask you for personal information.

Except their verification process is horribly broken and instead of providing a reasonable solution they will simply lock the account for good. That is about as scammy as it gets. They know that most people won't go to the trouble of getting a new ID card or whatever is needed to pass the verification (if at all possible) so they can sweep up those small amounts.

If this was purely a KYC issue they would work to help their customers. This is not what's happening. Their support people are acting like assholes determined to piss you off and make it not worth bothering to regain access.

Except if they were really scamming they would have ran away by now. As I said, I'm not defending them, they are extremely unprofessional and a horrible service in general but personally I got verified after a month, I withdrew everything and here I am. You can get verified as well, it just takes time.

They are not only unprofessional.... We can't call "horrible service" actions that killed bittrex reputation. Because this is what they did.... they distroyed their reputation. They where one of the main exchange on the market. How could anyone trust them again after this shit!?

For a comparison we can look on how poloniex treated this kyc requirement... First of all they declared that there will be an annuncement of a deadline for kyc, and even after the deadline customers will be able to withdrawal their funds without verification. This if fair and professional.

It is clear that poloniex don't want to steal customers funds.... What about bittrex?

jack boot thugs will track them down and literally kick their doors down..same ole story :\ meh

BCash will never cease to amaze me. What the F is it doing at 0.1915? Should be max 0.165... The only stable median in the chart.

Well done to the believers though. Happy you got what you wanted.

This is a bit sad if 0.195 is considered as the best thing it can do ...

That depends on how hard BTC falls. Could well be 1.95 after the flippening

No still here

Your mempool is filling up though almost at 100MB

Ohhh noes, ehrmagerd, it's 70MB!!!! Should we decrease the blocksize?!

You ready to answer the question? Come on buddy just have fun with it.

we need 1337MB blocks :-D weeee

I am newbie. This coin is totally a scam bag.. i bought it when it was almost at the peak..totally wasted my investment in this. Please stay away such shit coins. Lesson learnt hard way.

This isn't a scam what happened in cryptopia is there are many people who placed their sell orders in 1sat so it will take time to get to you. One of the reason for the volume is because of the Doge and the LTC market that is paused.

bwaahaha dude PAC can be got for 1/2 satoshi who would buy at 1? Shocked lol
533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Stellar on: January 14, 2018, 04:03:32 AM
Does Ripple let you issue your own personal currencies so friends can keep track of their debts to each other and such?

I had the impression Ripple was trying to move away from the original idea, and close everything down so only institutions and exchanges and banks and such could issue currencies?

That is why I chose Stellar over Ripple. It even seemed like Ripple's desktop client got deliberately broken or something so everyone had to use some web-based wallet or something like that so Big Brother could keep track of everything?

ya ripple is just a pennystock :-D who let this happen? ~ the greedy banksters.

Gotta love this kind of articles, where author offers own list of stocks, coins in the end, as only being valuable.  Working on a priciple " good stock (coin) is the one I have in my portfolio"....

ATW appears promising ~ i'm looking into this company :-D ..will report back Cool

The problem isn't them running away with the whole loot (yet), the problem is them skimming small amounts by imposing unreasonable requirements.

And no, I can't get verified, tried both their basic and enhanced verification. It's pure bullshit of course. I can open any bank account, and I have a fully verified Coinbase account, so again - it's not a KYC issue. Bittrex is lying when they say that the "government" is forcing them to do this.

Didn't work for me neither, only after a month and using what's called the ''2fa trick'' I got verified. I still think they just fucked up. Why would they lock accounts in the US? Why not disable accounts in shithole countries where they know it's virtually impossible for them to be sued by those people?

these n00bs think they are going to "regulate crypto" ...rotflmfao :-D
sureeeee they are ~ as they steal your coins?

Hi (name hidden),

I have forwarded this to our coin listing department. Please be patient and an agent will reply as soon as possible. Thank you.

In other words, I think it's going to be prohibitively expensive. And I'm not going to sink $30,000+ worth of bitcoin just to list it.

I understand mate as the fee is a little expensive however they have always been at 2 BTC from as far as I know. Maybe it would of been good to list 808 on there when I mentioned it many months ago before BTC really started taking off. Did you hear back from CryptoBridge exchange?

Fair enough question. It is a hot technology that we have, and they are big and getting bigger. They started growing internationally, like they are partnering now with 15Bil in revenue French gaming business.
We will help them minimize their expenses, and they will help us to get mainstream media attention as they have great relations with TV stations and magazines. All of that by implementing EMC2 as payment method, taking positions in EMC2, referencing EMC2 as a store of value, and bringing their partners into EMC2 as well.
We’ve been working on the partnership for more than a year now.

Partnerships are made on mutual benefit. Wink

We have had a modest attempt at a weekend dip that has failed.  Another attempt is surely coming but badger is looking resilient.  IF this resilience holds, this would be a bullish signal for next week.

Bittrex just gave me a small heart attack.  Tether balances are not included in your wallet balance for reasons unknown.

Bittrex ..you didn't hear? :-D you a turkey.  Roll Eyes
