521  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Try to recover loss on: March 15, 2018, 11:23:24 AM
Trying to revenge from markets only can lead to one final: Trader will lose all balance/investment sooner or later.  Recovering loss is kinda to keep falling knife while you act emotionally. Market is always right and trading mistakes will make you wise person.. I always turn off computer in case of losing money  in market.
It will definitely lead him to that. One mistake he wants to do now is buying at the top and selling at the bottom. That is not a ways to trade any market. Since he has missed the top, the best thing now is to wait for the next top, and learn how to trade before then so he does not miss it and with that he can decide to sell some of his holdings and start trading from there, but trying to sell now is actually an insane thing to do.

Previous few month we see all altcoin price is decrease. So at this time how I recover my loss.I decided one think,I want to sell my all altcoin now.And try to start trade and recovery again. It's possible? Can I do this.Tell me your opinion, can do or not?
In this sense, you are not recovering loss, you are accepting loss instead. What is the point? If you are to start trading now anyway, it is either you are buying at the bottom right now which most of the alts already are and then selling at the top. Also, if you feel you even want to trade, you should only be using stop losses for any coin that just probably has broken support and shows sign of more free fall. If you sell out now, you will be more worried to see huge loss, if the market recovers after then and you end up gambling your position.
522  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Reduce to $ 4000? on: March 15, 2018, 10:53:59 AM
My suggestion to every one is don't predict too low like USD4000 instead waiting for bottom book your profit or even book your lose to be safe side and it wont affect much in your portfolio. Bitcoin has a great performance record so I don't think bitcoin can reduce to USD 4000.
Exactly, we have to stop spreading FUD so that people will not be worried and probably will be encouraged to help Bitcoin increase its price by continuing to support  its services. Speculation like this can only make things become worst and we don't want to make that happen. Bitcoin already have so many trials and I don't think this time it will go down to $4K.
I really do not see the point in all that the OP has said anyway and since binance stated all that happened on their blog as that not being a hack attempt, then I do not see how there should be an issue. However, if we are to say in the literal sense where bitcoin will be moving to and in what direction, then we can as well just imagine anything is possible. It is a market and if the chances come for the bears to drag it down to $4k, no one will stop it and vice versa.

Apparently, we can all expect anything to happen as none of us can predict the future anyway and even traders keep trying to see how things turn out from their analysis, so even at that, no one can say if that is possible or not. It is a free way down and a free way up and bitcoin can make any surprising decision at any time depending on all the factors that could cause its movement in such direction.
523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can go wrong! on: March 15, 2018, 10:14:55 AM
if you learn from your own mistake , you will spend time and money too .

better to learn from other's mistakes .

if your query is related to crypto , then be wise while taking decision of delling and buying , FOMO and panic sell may cause you loss .
The reason why a lot of people are doing very well in their fields today is because of their experiences which they were able to garner from their mistakes. We cannot do without going wrong some times as no one is perfect but what is necessary is to make use of those wrongs to get a better part of ourselves. A lot of people instead of that always end up getting down cast which is pretty bad.

Running from failure is not even a good thing because sometimes it just happens and the idea is to learn from it upfront, get better and then be able to make great decisions in the long run. It is important to always know that you can go wrong, but the interesting part of it is that there is always an opportunity to retrace and make the best use of it. Once you take it as part of life, you will always get the benefit of even failing.
524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can myetherwallet still work? on: March 15, 2018, 08:53:39 AM
I heard that the wallet MEW may not be used anymore, this information is true. So if the wallet MEW for some reason can not be used then can we use any other wallet?
Where did you heard this? I'm curious and want to find out if this is true or not. Yesterday, I sent my tokens to an exchange and it works perfectly. Maybe this is just a hoax.
Maybe this, maybe that! I have not seen anyone that generated a wallet on MEW without them having their private keys or their keystore file.

If you have most especially your private key, why worry about anything that happens with MEW. MEW is just a medium to make transactions just like any other wallet that supports Ethereum, so I do not see why all this fuss is necessary. Moreover, MEW is still intact, so only the OP can explain where he heard his own stories from.
525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing still worth in Crypto? on: March 14, 2018, 05:47:21 PM
Crypto is still very much worth investing in and there is nothing wrong with it. The same stock market you have also decided to go into is also a volatile market and I have not seen any market that ends up not having its own fluctuation. However, crypto is still new and that gives you a chance to even gain more in the long run. You can check the history of those coins.

One way or the other, they always end up having a huge increase and some of them will not even test that bottom again, no matter what and you can also learn to sell during FOMOs rather than getting too greedy.
526  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as your main income? on: March 14, 2018, 04:31:00 PM
Bitcoin could not be a main income because it is not stable. It is just another source of income when you invest or join a bounty that pay bitcoin or you are working online which is the payment is bitcoin. You can earn from these and that will give you a chance yo earn extra income. Mostly if you are lucky, bitcoin is more profitable rather than your permanent job.
Yeah, unless you are really doing something to earn it, which is when one can classify it as an income. Bitcoin itself is a digital currency and a tool for payment, whereas holding it may give you some huge profit in the long run, but nothing is guaranteed and unless you want to add trading to your job and be benefiting from the fluctuation to earn from that, then you can sya you are getting an income, but investing in bitcoin itself will not give you income.

OP must be got it wrong by classifying bitcoin as a main income. Yes, he stated it right that the blockchain technology is going to change a lot of things, but he also has to understand that bitcoin is more like a payment tool and if we are considering investing it and expecting a main income from that, unless he is a trader of course, then he is really mistaken. It takes a lot of patience to even be able to get something from it, so no need sweating it.
527  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people buy high and sell low on: March 14, 2018, 03:23:48 PM
I've been one of those people, the people that buy at the high points of crypto and then sell low, losing my money and then later on losing out on a good amount of profits which I could've made. I'd like to know some of the reasons that people do this, besides doing it to cut their losses as that one is my reason.

Thanks guys!

Definitely you are one of those panic sellers. When price is high, you buy because of thinking that those coins will still go up to the moon without realizing that sooner or later, the price drops. And when the price drops, you sell them because you think that it may keep on decreasing. Those moment, you are panicking and thinking that its better to sell in lw price than to have nothing.
Apparently one of them. A lot of people have always made this mistake anyway and it seems no matter how we keep saying it, people will keep falling for it. They buy into FOMO, the whales see that as a spot to strike since there are already weak hands and greedy guys in the market, and then it all starts and then people like OP panic easily since they have no understanding of the market's volatility and then sell low only to realize the market recovering and coming back higher than before. We do not always say HODL for fun, it is from experience.
528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's effect Facebook banned will have on ICOs today on: March 14, 2018, 07:38:23 AM
If your question was what would be the effect on ICOs if Facebook puts a ban on cryptocurrency advertisement, then the answer is quite simply not much of an effect may be the ICOs would lose one platform for advertisement. There are many other social media's where ICOs do their advertisement through us. So that wouldn't make a whole big of an effect to the advertisements of ICOs.
Losing Facebook is big, after all Facebook is probably the biggest social media site in the entire world so they are losing at big platform for them so I think the effects are going to be a lot bigger than many think, this is not going to stop icos, but it is going to slow them down a little bit and when we take into account that the market is kind of slow and the know your customer policy issues then you are talking about a lot of investments lost for the icos.
Losing Facebook is not big, but Facebook losing the revenue they are generating from those ICO adverts is the one that is big. Trust me bro, they have been getting a lot, and it is just because they would want to at least consider the community and the users since they cannot really get to screen the spammers, then that just had to happen.

It seems before anything and as long as it pertains to ICOs now, you will need to get a legit verified document to be able to do anything and that is good enough for the community.
529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would we know which cryptocurrency would be Scam? on: March 14, 2018, 07:07:44 AM
As of now there are 1500+ cryptocurrency exists in the world.
Many dead many rising and many has to come.
So how can i know the currency  ,where i am putting my money is not a part of scam?
Or is there any other way so we can check about respected crypto might be it'll work?

There is no way to for sure if a cryptocurrency is a scam. All cryptocurrencies start well and they didn't just begin as a scam. They just along the years lose value and people begin to lose interest and in the coin and soon after there are no investment in such coin altogether.
However, I think to know if an ICO will be successful, you need to check all details concerning such coin. You also need to consider all factors determining the success or failure of such coin.
That is because you have never experienced being scammed before. Some out rightly started out as a scam during ICO and you can know from the team, some managed to enter the market with an empty promise, the devs dumped on the market and disappeared with no further development for years is a scam.

The problem with a lot of us is that we do not try as much as possible to dig for information and being an information age which even makes a lot of things easy, we should not even be a victim.
530  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Merit "trading" - buying and selling Bitcointalk merit on: March 14, 2018, 03:55:07 AM
Introducing some feature like smerit for benefiting the community is helping some top ranks to cash the opportunity, i would like to suggest admin/moderators  to come up with new feature some thing like like/dislike/favorite some post similar to smerit but every one was given few of those at first based on the rank and have some conditions similar to count/timer of posts at entry level, in that case there wont be feeling like you are left out and if you had donated smerit you may be not sure that you will recieve more at the same time.
I like the conception of meriting but not with the way of providing smerits.
I really do not know why you guys keep complaining about smerits, if your post is good enough to get a merit, you will get. Those who are freely giving out merit to those who deserve it are available on this forum and if you have an impact to create in the community without spamming, plagiarizing or going against the forum rule, you should be fine. However, this whole thing shows that most people here are more interested in the pay than contributing effectively or learning on the forum.
531  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Livecoin Sign In Problem (Access From Your IP Address is Restricted) on: March 13, 2018, 06:08:05 PM
sorry for being late to update my thread, my livecoin account has been fix about the issue of ip address is restricted, livecoin exchange is legit if you have a problem to your account send a request to livecoin@help.net with detailed description of the issue, And also one of the admin of exchange is active here in the furom https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1151791.0
Oh! Thanks a lot for giving us those feedbacks as some of us are always at the side of the fence trying to see how things turn out. I have never tried livecoin before but since there is no harm in trying different exchanges and since some of the tokens I am holding are on the exchange platform, I may have to just try them out. I have always been very skeptical when it comes to exchanges, and I always wait for the reputable ones to list first, so maybe I see how this one goes.

some people got that problem too,
it can be happened due to DDoS attack that happened with them, they are restricting some IPs to get access into their website.
and your IPs might be suspected as an 'attacker' even though you did not do that.
vps ? or something similiar to that ?
Yeah, I had the same challenge but it got rectified by itself automatically when I tried it again yesterday morning. Everything is still intact; I did not worry much since I really do not have so much inside anyway except for some tokens. If the Op cannot successfully make use of a VPN to get that solved, then he may just have to be patient to wait for a support. Although, I am sure a change of IP should get that solved, maybe he can just try another network provider.
532  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading actually worth it? on: March 13, 2018, 05:22:51 PM
So yeah i'm just wondering whether can you make serious money with trading or is it more than not just gambling?

Are "pro traders" making millions, or are they barely getting by and need to sell their signals and such?

Not in a bull market anymore so i'm looking at trading as a way to make money, but not sure whether it actually works. Note i'm not complete newbie, but i was never really trading.
With the current market boom, bitcoin prices and altcoin knitting has been steadily declining over the past few days and there is no sign of recovery, so we trade successfully at this time. extremely difficult. It can be seen that in order to be able to trade successfully, we need to have experience, and if it is, the profit can not exceed 5%.
You should even be very careful of any market, irrespective of it being a bear market or a bull market because if you are making your decisions blindly, then you will so much regret it.

The market is not a child's play and if you end up not being careful which can only be applicable if you are knowledgeable, then you will lose so much and wish you never set your eyes on any of those exchanges. Trading is very good to earn a lot, but at least, know what you are doing.

We can make a lot from trading if we do not consider it as gambling and we must learn a lot to be able to trade well which a lot of people usually don't do anyway. If we have no skills, we can never have strategy and if we have no strategy, then we are gambling. It takes just a few days before we realize how much we have lost and we cannot even recover. The best is not to trade at all if we know we do not have the knowledge. We will do ourselves more harm to go against all just mentioned here.
533  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anonymous exchanges? on: March 13, 2018, 02:49:39 PM
Yup there are several exchanges that provide this currently. You can trade on Binance (up to 2 BTC), Etherdelta (unlimited), and I believe Poloniex as well (2k limit).
Binance doesn't have fiat pairs. They trade BTC / USDT which is still not fiat. Anyway they look like the only decent exchange with high unverified limits . Etherdelta is obviously working with ether and different tokens which won't be needed by OP. And before  verifying Poloniex account you will have 0$ daily withdrawal limit that will extend to 25k after verification, I've been checking this thing recently.
The OP did not ask for fiat pairs, he asked for a platform he can change his altcoins into btc without having to do any KYC verification and from the look of things, the only best place he can do that is on Binance.

Etherdelta is even already becoming a pain in the ass now since that split and since what he is exchanging is not even tokens, it will not work. With your last statement, I have honestly wondered why people are afraid of sharing their data with exchanges and skeptical about KYC. I still have not gotten a concrete answer to that.
534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Strategy to invest in crypto ? on: March 13, 2018, 01:09:54 PM
If you have, at any point, the opportunity to cover your initial investment and still have enough crypto to play around with: don't hesitate and do it. It will give you peace of mind and it will allow you to trade with a lot less emotion and make better choices.
Honestly, that has saved me a lot. I used to be very greedy and always look out for the best sell but one thing about the market is that nothing is predictable, but it is always better to have your own angle, what you are looking for and stick with it and one way or the other, when you have sold out at the top, the market will one way or the other in the next few months, come running back to mummy for safety and then I accumulate again for the future.
535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is product important for a project? on: March 12, 2018, 06:50:24 PM
Product is not that important as 99 times out of 100 people do not do proper research. They mostly follow hypes: see "what coin to buy" questions on this forum.
That does not mean we will say product is not important. Those who want to follow hype will follow hype which eventually is not always sustainable and who wants to be bag holding a shit coin and gambling with their funds? The thing that makes product relevant is that with hype or not, you know you are cut out for the long term and with the product, there would always be lot of support for the coin, which is where the essence of product is very important.
536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: No more facebook campaigns? on: March 12, 2018, 05:32:21 PM
In fact, Facebook campaigns have never offered such considerable profits to be a significant source of income for bounty hunters. I think we could live without problems without Facebook campaigns, because I think that social network should be dedicated exclusively to communicate with our family and friends rather than to spread spam.
Lol. How would you know that? Although I really understand anyway, compared to twitter which rakes in most of the investors and where most investors are found anyway, Facebook campaign pretty much targets just the user's followers or friends which sometimes, they may not actually be cryptocurrency related friends and that makes it unimportant whereas with a hash tag for twitter, you can get it to as many as possible which makes it more effective.
537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people think that ETH can Overcome Bitcoin? on: March 10, 2018, 07:39:45 AM
Recently I am hearing some rumors or words that, Eth will beat bitcoin sooner or later. But I don't think so and I totally disagree with it. Bitcoin is Bitcoin, And Eth is like after Bitcoin, If bitcoin fall then eth will fall too. Then how can people think that ETH can Overcome Bitcoin? What do you think About this? Share your thoughts.
Its not about the price that people are talking about its about the market capitalization of bitcoin and ethereum that are being compared. Ethereum can never overcome bitcoin in the terms of price, but ethereum can overcome bitcoin in terms of market capitalization.

And falling of bitcoin doesn’t affect ethereum at all. When the whole market cap drops, all the coins fall in which bitcoin is included. Its not like bitcoin falls so everything falls. It’s the pouring of money and cashing it out in the market.
I feel you but I still tend to disagree. If we are even talking about market capitalization here, you should have always noticed the shift most of the time to have known it would be extremely hard and very close to impossible for that to even happen.
You also have to understand that the cashing out of the market most times affects all, but whether we like it or not, bitcoin is always the first center of attraction and the bull rally of bitcoin also brings about a huge level of domination, so at the end, it would be a hard one to catch up with.
538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding is bullshit? on: March 10, 2018, 06:59:16 AM
only works long term for btc and real alt projects with real dev teams that are not a scam
It is surprising though how he got himself into such messy coins, because even the names alone should scream scam. Espers, insane and html, and that insane even got me laughing the most. He is really holding coins that have lost their sanity a long time ago and 3 years for holding a coin without a single slight movement, I bet the coins are already dead. He should just forget and start over!

It is funny how people always end up bag holding shit coins, when it is not like there is no way they can do some little research on the coin they are holding before deciding to invest.

Why hold a coin that no one in their right mind wants and actually only someone who is not smart will even trade coins like that, which makes me believe they may not even have a single trading volume. Pretty bad condition for the OP right now and he should better sell out now if he can and then get into better projects.
539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT IS GOING ON? Come back form holidays and everything red????it is over? on: March 10, 2018, 06:00:16 AM
this is a precious experience for you right here.
next time don't bag hold altcoins taht are in a bubble and will get dumped hard as soon as the whales find an opportunity to exit. try and look for coins that have been getting pumped and invest in those instead of mindlessly holding on tight to certain "names" that are big.

The whales are getting into pretty much any coins that's out there. It's impossible to know which coins are going to skip having whales jump on.
Diversification of the portofolio is the solution. And right now it's natural for the market to go down.
That is the reason why the whales will always win and most of us are just tag along. I understand how much the whales will always have a good time having their fun with some of these alts in the long run, either in the bear moment or bull moment, but the only safe way is to know when to just opt out, rather than trying to gamble anything.

A lot of us have learned this lesson from the past and while everyone keeps shouting HODL, which is good, but sometimes, the whales just make it unbearable and you start asking if it was worth holding after all or learning how to trade to utilize those moments to your benefit.
540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl or do I realize the loss? on: March 10, 2018, 04:25:12 AM
This is a decision you must make for yourself. If you really need money, of course sell. It seems to me that in any case you lost this battle and lost money. I usually keep tokens until the scheduled time, despite the price. Can you explain to me. Why do you think the price will not be reached?
I am sure he is a lot confused at what to do and it is normal, and even though he is to make any decision right now by himself, it would be great for him to make the right decision which is to just hold. As long as he has not sold, he is not in loss and he should wait for it and be patient enough. Like Warren will say, never invest in the value and forget what you are seeing now, but invest in the company and I am sure you did by choosing crypterium.

Holding is always the best option. I bought into some solid tokens and coins as well, but normally with the market correction, there is nothing I would have expected than seeing stuffs like this happening. It is the way the whole market is presently and selling now would not make any sense. Once the market recovers, it is normal to achieve his target easily as 90% loss is nothing really compared to the level of gains these altcoins usually have.
