@shorena

@rico666

522  Economy / Reputation / Re: User Yahoo62278 is a brutal account seller and on: February 14, 2017, 04:16:37 PM
Let me say this first: your signature makes me cringe.

Well, see this Smiley

Just check this user : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=542429

Made from starting to just sell and buy accounts ( mainly sell )

and hence a potential serious signature spammer, and where are those guys who tag account sellers ?

Basically because its a trusted member selling/buying accounts brutally you allow him ?

No, IMHO anyone should be able to buy and sell as many accounts as they want. Should it lead to spam, its for staff to handle and - if needed - ban the person with all accounts they hold. Someone that buys an account in order to ROI on it via signature campaign(s) has a high interest to avoid spam as it would destroy their investment (the account). Another point - originally brought up by Salty IIRC (sorry no ref) - is that open account sales and signature campaigns together make it more difficult for scammers to ROI on a bought account. Simplified the argument is: account sales are public thus people trust accounts less in general which lowers the amount that can be scammed w/o significant work (long cons); signature campaigns offer a legit way to ROI on a bought acct which increases demand and thus price for accounts raising the amount needed to scam to ROI nefariously.

And yes , an auction which was abandoned without any information and this is quite rubbish.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1150562.msg12133013#msg12133013

Auctions are often finished via PM, please show us the related scam accusation.

To lauda : you give -ve trust to people for selling accounts and encouraging members to earn from sigs from multiple accounts ( see : http://prntscr.com/e8j4uf ) and yourself working with a brutal account seller dude ?

I have been discussing this topic with Lauda for quite some time and my latest information on this is that Lauda is reviewing these ratings. Be that as it may, it changes nothing about yahoos position on DT.

But how can you allow a user who has a past of selling accounts in such a complicated team where a single blacklist means that the user won't be able to take part in any campaign ( that respects SMAS )

You are being blind eyed man !

SMAS is just a list for a few members, it does not apply to all campaigns and I think its better that these members put their list in the public instead of doing the same in secret. I have no doubt that campaign managers frequently warn each others about spammers to reduce their workload. I think there can be improvements made to SMAS, but overal its a good idea against spam. One improvement I offered in the past was to check whether or not someone should be on SMAS or not. I have yet to receive a list of accounts I should check, it seems either your signature misrepresents me or there is no strong interest in getting this done. I could do it blind as well, a few of the accounts could not be on SMAS and Id have to find those that should be. If SMAS is all you have, it wont be enough to get yahoo removed from DT.

-snip-
Edit: Forgot the reason I dropped by here. Completely agree with what you have on your sig

I dont think those 98 days are wasted.

-snip-
Had a newbie done all these, please tell me honestly would you allow him in the DT mate ?

No, a newbie has no history. The question whether or not someone should be on DT is the same as "are the ratings they leave helpful to me?" For me this answer is yes for yahoo. I had some issues with some ratings they left, handled it rather poorly on my end, but they came around and changed them.

-snip-
A learner should not be a part of a list that are believed to be experts and teach others plus him being a part of SMAS can well be a very wise decision by allowing his own accounts and being partial towards them.

Thats not really how it works. You just log in one day and boom your inbox is full of PMs, because newsflash someone put you on DT. Everyone needs some time to adapt to this. Depending on your past ratings this can take some time.

-snip-
Yahoo62278 is playing with SMAS for personal interests.
-snip-

That might be true, but I dont see any evidence of this and I dont think SMAS has enough influence to make this profitable. Besides, due to its public nature anyone could verify and more importantly dispute being on that list.

Lauda being gone shouldn't make much of a difference with these newbie bot accounts.

Hmm, I see.

-snip-
even when Lauda was staff there often seemed to be a backlog of reports at about 5-7am-ish (gmt) as I often notice when I get up early so maybe we could do with a patroller active in that time zone. Those bots in the op were active between 5-8am and I slept in today (which is rare  Grin).

Yeah, I tend to see them more often when I get up early as well. I doubt its a common time for people to be active though.

I like the white listing/shadow ban idea as long as they are handled quickly enough.

Was los, geschlossene Gesellschaft?

Sorry, bin Linux-Noob Wink

Code:
shutdown -h now

I didn't play much, registered on December 20, placed 20-30 bets and everything was alright until the match Tus Koblenz-Turanspor.

h4ns, I have an update.

***

Sorry for the delay in our response. It took time to investigate this issue in details.
Unfortunately we are forced to cancel the bets on TuS Koblenz – Turanspor Mannheim match.
All your bets on this specific event were refunded. Your account and funds are unblocked for withdrawal.
We apologize for inconvenience.

***

This is the official position. Yes, this match is the reason. Bets on this match were refunded all the others were unblocked. I can't do more, sorry.

To me this sounds like you made a mistake on the odds and now the players have to take the fall.

What do you mean in change?
A send not part of the payments? Or another send that was included not from the manager or the one holding the campaign's funds?

The transaction[1] uses a single input (on the left), which has to be used entirely according to bitcoin rules. Every satoshi of the input you dont spend as output (on the right) is fee. If the input is 4 BTC and you want to spend 1 BTC, you send 3 BTC as change back to an address you control yourself (we ignore fee in this simplified example).

533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Full Node questions. on: February 13, 2017, 08:28:04 AM
It's possible to use your full node as a wallet and there is nothing to be worried about but you should take the same precautions as If you was using any other wallet and no , you don't earn anything by running a full node , you are simply helping the network and making it more secure.

Thanks, 1 more question Cheesy

Can see transactions which my node has processed?

You can see which transactions your node currently holds in memory yes. Your node will not "process" transactions in the sense of confirmations, if thats what you are thinking of.
534  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is my method a secure way to gather entropy? on: February 13, 2017, 08:23:11 AM
-snip-
That is my thought process.

You somehow assume asking a search engine will improve things, but it wont. You would just encode the information in a different way. Anyone that knows your keywords will find the same results[1]. If your initial keywords are not randomly generated, neither are your results. You also open yourself to several new attack vectors (e.g. MITM and Sybil) because you rely on information provided by others. Its significantly more difficult to manipulate a building you are about to take a picture off[2] than intercept your internet traffic and feed you predetermined data based on knowledge of your algorithm. If you really want to bake your own PRNG I suggest you follow piotr_n's advice. What you came up with might work for some time, until someone has a (strong) interest to make it work in their favor.

[1] within reason. There is a chance that different results will show up based on googles profiling or other factors.
[2] or the sound a busy intersection makes, etc.
535  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Lauda/TMAN/minifrij extortion attempt on: February 09, 2017, 10:08:03 PM
Was Lauda fired or not ?
To me, it is obvious he was fired.

Blazed still has Lauda within his trust list, and this makes Blazed look like he thinks a self-admitted extortionist should be trusted by everyone. In my book, this means Blazed is not quite as trustworthy as he presents himself to be.

@shorena
That was highly evasive.

Probably, yes. I dont like that I had to leave these ratings and I like even less than it seems Im the only one on DT who gives a fuck. This thread makes me feel 1000 years old and so tired of this forum.

And what i said about VOD is bad and you played off like it was no big deal.

or maybe I just want to keep this on topic and not drift off into another discussion about people who should not matter in this thread.

-snip-
The regular people i deal with do not need to be PM'd all the time.

Yeah, I dont like this either. On the other hand Im not going to tell what someone told me in convidence. Please sign NDA if you wana see proof of scam, shits getting real fucked up.

Shorena i lost any respect i might have had for you.. it's gone.

I just try to do what is right with the little power BadBear and Cyrus gave me. If that means people dont like or respect me, so be it.

VOD did what i said.. that is a fucking fact !

Yeah, same as many others Vod tends to ignore what someone with a negative rating says. I personally think its stupid to ignore a well constructed argument because of the person that made it, but I cant change that. Well, I can support the argument - as I do here - myself, but thats about it. A single DT rating means nothing, esp. not over time and with counter ratings.

To active a forum is not that easy. first we should have contents.

No, first you need to do the minimum to make sure your forum can actually work, e.g. working encryption so passwords are not transferred in plain text. What do you think will happen when some bored kid gets your admin password? You might get content, but probably not the kind of content you are looking for.

Second we should have advantage.

What?

Third ,we need time

No shit.

According to all these , 0.1btc for 500 valuable articles is not that expensive.

Ahhh, now we are getting to the small print. So you are not actually paying daily, but only after those working for you have reached 500 "valueable" (how is that determined?) posts?

And all the article mentions their original author in our forum  www.bitcointalk.review

Where?

537  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: It never asked for a password so I have no way to change it on: February 09, 2017, 09:22:28 PM
I had lots of trouble installing this on my Macbook.  Finally got it on.  When I click on the Lock on the bottom that says my wallet is encrypted and asks for my password.   I also never set up seeds.   This could be from the problems installing it.

I never set up a password to start with or seeds so I have no way to change it or if I get locked out I'm screwed.

I can't figure this out.  Can anyone help?

Its likely a wallet file from an old installation. Did you install electrum on this system before?
538  Economy / Services / Re: ★ Coinroll ★ Signature Campaign ★ on: February 09, 2017, 09:18:00 PM
Your sends will never confirm with just a 0.000456 BTC miners fee applied. Undecided

It was confirmed a few blocks ago, 40-50 sat per byte are still a reasonable fee if you have some time.

And how does someone in a signature campaign get paid like this?

3.66363129 BTC to 17kEry63s9iCJFE4zcawZX5SE8ds5oBFcu

I would want to be in this one if you are paying someone to post a few messages on the forums. Cheesy

Thats likely change.

I will leave this here, just in case it somehow "disappears".

#1 This thread -> https://archive.fo/IIg8c

#2 Your SSL cert is not yours. Full cert chain below[1]. It for "*.web-hosting.com, web-hosting.com", which leads here

-> https://www.namecheap.com/hosting.aspx

Did you steal it or are you just incompetent? Anyway, make sure you dont reuse passwords on that site or rely on your account there in any way. Its very easy for someone to get your account data.

#3 Those working for you are stealing threads from users here

-> http://bitcointalk.review/index.php?topic=8.0
-> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1781568.0
-> https://archive.fo/F9YLJ

#4 Your payment is unusually high for what you are getting and you refuse to use escrow. This makes me think you are not going to pay at all.
