521  Economy / Economics / Re: China moves further towards cashless society on: October 02, 2018, 03:49:52 PM
Well this is an incident that smells business. It is clear that companies offering cashless transaction or payments would always be happy to hear about their payment system was being used. It would certainly give them more revenue or profit. But I would love to hear if they would be applying the use of cryptocurrency like bitcoin because transactions for me can easily be done.
522  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin vs world economy on: October 02, 2018, 03:13:53 PM
Based on the current events and as what I have observed, the world economy can have an impact to bitcoins usage and volume as it may affect its price. Bitcoin serves as the secondary tool for moving money aside from bank to bank transactions or just directly handling it over. It is limited in volume and is dependent upon usage for pricing. Bitcoin may somewhat be considered a stand-alone currency yet it is still based on fiat and any change in the world economy affecting fiat also affects the cryptocurrency world. Bitcoin is strong and there is no need to really think about it negatively. You can always start investing
523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the Unsold Tokens? on: October 02, 2018, 05:59:30 AM
I have seen others do the third option. And it seems that the airdrop isn't even worth anything because it was low valued and if exchanged would probably be not so profitable. I think they use this strategy to let you hold their coins to keep it from dropping in value, advertise their coin and most of all keep it stable oe in balance. I don't know if this is really correct but this is just what I have observed.
524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is a bubble? on: October 01, 2018, 10:11:13 PM
Of course it is both. Because you are referring to it generally and we know for a fact that some digital coins are just pump and dump coins. But there are good coins which I think were stable enough to survive even this unfavorable market that we have now. The changes in the value is somehow very much helpful to those who are day trading because it behaves like a reset so that again and again they could make profit.
525  Economy / Economics / Re: The economic crisis in 2018 on: October 01, 2018, 09:32:38 PM
The main economy isn't about cryptocurrency. The real physical market and the world trades is what creates the big difference. In the recent connected events, we have seen how there had been many problems about economy. Calamities struck, wars and chaos in somw regions of the earth and trade (economic) wars and so many things causes a lot of changes in the economy. Because of these cryptocurrency had been affected as well.
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunter, now what are you going to do? on: October 01, 2018, 03:46:55 PM
I guess I will have to stay and wait for the right time. Everything that happens is just like a repetition of the past so that in my opinion things will be back to what once was previously a green pasture for all of the bounty hunters to strive for. Now might be in a bad or unfavorable market but wait for sometime and everything will be just fiine.
527  Economy / Economics / Re: What can be done to make bitcoin stable? on: October 01, 2018, 06:06:08 AM
Stable in a very strict sense could be impossible. But stable as we should have to consider only that the price won't have to fall too far below and could rise up again so easily can be possible. A constant usage of bitcoin can be of great help to maintain its current status. Holding doesn't help but the usual transactions you do with bitcoin will do. The more people who will use it the more stable it will be. But volatility will always continue due to its limited volume.
528  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will control the world economy!!!!! is it true? on: September 30, 2018, 09:29:38 PM
For me I don't really think that much. I know how bitcoin can really affect the economy of a country but to control the world economy is an overstatement. The volume of bitcoin does not surpass even the population so how can it control the entire world economy when its volume is limited? The effect is clear and will be realistic if everyone will be involved in bitcoin which as we know the possibility of manipulating prices is real and possible. So it may if everybody is holding bitcoin but when not I really don't think this is true.
529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still did not get bounty rewards? on: September 30, 2018, 04:20:02 PM
It is certainly hard to find ICO projects that could definitely give you the right bounty as promised. Sometimes we stumbled upon those that do not give because they fail and some others just because they are scam projects. Maybe there are good bounty projects out there that are really the kind we need to look into. The only problem is how do we know if they are the right one to choose? Maybe you need to look back at some posts about how to choose good ICOs and consult others in these forum for additional help.
530  Economy / Economics / Re: Technology improves we work more. on: September 30, 2018, 10:58:03 AM
While it is true that there is a change in the peoples lives brought about by technology but on the on the other side if you can look at the details the work loads get even more difficult because they think that with the use of technology the human capacity to do work is even extended thus bringing everything back to the limitation of the human being and thus works seems to be just the same.  Many of course care less for the work done but for the profit they can earn.
531  Economy / Economics / Re: When will smartphones used for bitcoin mining? on: September 29, 2018, 03:55:44 PM
It maybe possible in the future when smartphones are made with heavy duty components. Technology is always changing and the impossible will become possible in the future. Who could have ever thought that a metal that weighs several tons would ever fly high above the skies? The idea was a very ridiculous one before but it was never till people saw one today.  So for me it may happen, and I think I am buying this idea.
532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that the HODL approach is good bitcoin? on: September 28, 2018, 08:11:18 AM
I would say you are right about it. Holding is not so good as it may only just allow others to attack the weaknesses of the newbie upon doing investments. When price are down enough such as what happened many will be leaving and selling their bitcoin in the fear that the prices will never go back up again. So we need to be wise and analytical as possible and not to get too emotional while at the same time analyzing the market to avoid so much loses.

534  Economy / Economics / Re: We can totally eradicate poverty if we TRULY want to. on: September 26, 2018, 08:51:08 PM
I happen to read the following item below and it is quite alarming to see how the world is really living in poverty. I only selected a few items below to emphasize the idea of how worst poverty is. It reads:

Quote
1 billion children worldwide are living in poverty. According to UNICEF, 22,000 children die each day due to poverty."

The World Food Programme says, “The poor are hungry and their hunger traps them in poverty.” Hunger is the number one cause of death in the world, killing more than HIV/AIDS, malaria, and tuberculosis combined.

Source: https://www.dosomething.org/us/facts/11-facts-about-global-poverty

And so as I read the information In this article about poverty, I stumbled upon the following data above that suggested how worst poverty really is. Isn't 22,000 really is something? It made me think that the world is really suffering from it and that teaching each individual how to fish might not even be so easy, not unless people will realize the necessity of helping one another.  We could only think of a solution but how the solution can be meet in reality is something that has to be worked for during this times of hardship. Imagine the thousands of deaths for the children due to poverty and imagine how poverty had killed more than those diseases that have been mentioned above. Is the principle of teaching the man how to fish really is a workable idea? Well for me, I don't believe so, I think the world needs more than that. The resources for food, medicine and some other basic needs are not met easily despite having to work hard. The salary for the poor isn't so well enough to satisfy their needs. So I guess the love for humanity and the concern that should be shown by the rich individuals would be the most important idea to give the poor the chance to work with better salaries to alleviate poverty. For most of the time I could only see that the rich is getting richer and the poor is getting poorer. How can we really live as comfortable and happy then?
535  Economy / Economics / Re: Are fiat currencies necessary in the world? on: September 24, 2018, 01:51:10 PM
Considering that the world is changing, it could or may happen that fiat will be just a collectible. I believe that someday it might be gone. Yet for cryptocurrency to take over is something which I think is yet too far from happening. The reason is very simple. Cryptocurrency in its current state today cannot be controlled by the government. So it would appear to be like a one currency for the world and this could only happen if there would be one unified government which in our case may be far from happening. Cryptocurrency however may have a chance to be in the circulation given if the government itself will create for themselves and it will be just like a digital version of money. Which is not greatly affected by the change of demands but by what the government has set for it in terms of value.
536  Other / Meta / Re: [TOP-200] Members who support newbies - Thanks! on: September 23, 2018, 04:50:10 PM
There is a lot of love for quality new members. It's the spambies that are the ones that the rules are intended to control. I suspect a lot of the 150-200 are spambies promoted by their alts and sponsors. I think the good news is that the new rules highlight these members and their puppet masters. If there are too many, then the next stage will have to be sig removal for juniors.

The site needs quality posts because it is really needed for a better advertising of products and or projects. And so many are just spamming and giving off merits to their alts just to rank it up. I think this system could probably go up in time where juniors will really be stripped off of their signature. And certainly this will help clean the system of newbies and juniors who are not really making good post. I think it will be good to see higher ranking forum member's posts in the site so that they can act as a good example.
537  Other / Meta / Re: Bounty Manager as a good Merit source! on: September 22, 2018, 11:17:50 PM

I stopped reading right here. Read this:
I think you should consider adding Sylon manager to your list.
He manages a lot of campaigns, if you check his post history, you can see he everything works very up-to-date and answering all question to his participants.
Lol, seriously? He is probably one of the worst bounty managers on Bitcointalk. He even received negative trust because he accepts many scammers into his campaigns. Do you really think that Sylon deserves to be among best signature campaign managers?
Was just going to say the same thing. This is an anti-spam list and Sylon is one of the worst managers on the forum for spam in my opinion. Sylon accepts and pays for anyone as long as you make the minimum amount of spam. The amount of farmers and copy and pasters on his campaigns is ridiculous and multiple users are banned every day from campaigns he's running so staff end up doing his job for him which is incredibly annoying.

Actually I have not participated in Sylon's campaign but I based my ideas on the spreadsheet where I saw how they marked the posts as red and banned them from campaign. Many of the top ranking forum members are so critical in examining posts. You only mentioned more about Sylon how about the other high ranking FMs. It only shows that not all are really doing bad at managing. So we can put it this way, select only good bounty managers to become merit source. I could agree that some did receive negative trust and that is because they banned spammers and in retaliation they give negative trust. I understand your point, not all or everyone is good but these managers are responsible for the posts and they are the one to read it first, so I just think it would be feasible for them to encourage good post by rewarding bounty hunters and what is 1 point merit to do anyway with ranking to position like yours? It will be funny how many campaigns that needs to be finished just to reach your position. Actually up a little above this post, I don't have to quote, are high ranking bounty managers as well and are known to be doing good, I even read your name from the posts here that means this includes you, which I think you would certainly agree on me that you can be a good merit source. How about that? I am sure you would not allow spam to get in! If you can only understand my point and have read books you would discover that "Rewards are better than Punishment" and that is why the word bounty lives. Had it not for rewards nobody would be interested to post daily on a limit per week because it takes a lot of time to wait for nothing. I am not really arguing you but I only wanted you to see some good points. This is only a suggestion anyway.
538  Other / Meta / Re: Bounty Manager as a good Merit source! on: September 22, 2018, 02:05:49 PM
Bounty managers who don't do their job and pay spammers are the reason we have the Merit system. Making them merit sources would be just as bad as removing Merit entirely.

You maybe right I can understand how you look at bounty managers as someone who only works for money. But protecting the integrity of the site would be so easy for them, because they are the main person who can really see directly how their bounty hunters are doing in the campaign. Moderators won't be having a hard time looking at each post each day. And besides this is what the bounty managers are supposed to do and is paid for, they are responsible for checking the posts of their bounty hunters and would be the same person who warns them if they are not doing good posts. They can also remove bounty hunters from the campaign anytime when they are not doing their job. Maybe you are just so pessimistic about ideas that seem to you as impossible especially from a newbie. There are so many bounty managers that are really good, I see Lauda as a good example. I have not participated in the campaign manage by him but as I have looked at the spreadsheets you can see how each spammers and shitposters are marked red or maybe banned. There are so many good bounty managers if you would only open your mind and not to dismiss them easily like...Sylon, wapinter, hotachy, olcaytu2005 and many others that are too many to list down, and they are not just anybody they are hero and legendary forum members that knows a lot. And if your problem is that they could only increase spam, then there is a solution to that, like when merits will be given only at the end of the campaign and only a few selected Bounty hunters will have the chance to receive it. This reward system can help bounty hunters create good and meaningful post. And because BMs are responsible for allowing bad posts they can be liable such that they can be warned and eventually be given demerit if still allowing bad post even if they have been warned.

This is really a stupid suggestion, as this could just be solved by not giving stakes to the spammers by the bounty managers rather than making bounty managers as merit source. Huh

Calling these as a stupid suggestion is like calling good bounty hunters as stupid as well. Note that many BMs that are good are really high ranking forum members, the ones who ranked legendary and hero members.  I have a lot of respect to the good BMs especially the ones I have mentioned even if I have participated or not in their campaigns. They are good and hardworking. I am very sorry to disappoint you but I really can't agree with you on this. Don't make it too general and complicated...thanks!

539  Other / Meta / Bounty Manager as a good Merit source! on: September 20, 2018, 11:47:25 AM
It has been a problem to maintain and check bitcointalk forum member's posts. Spams and so many posts that are not meaningful can best be seen by bounty manager. Thus it is good in my own analysis to make bounty managers as a merit source. Giving them the automatic sMerit value intended only to be given to the bounty hunters will probably give them the chance to promote only the deserving bounty hunters and allowing better opportunities for ranking up. This will also help the entire site to be checked constantly of posts that bounty hunters have created on the shortest time possible due to the direct access the BMs have over his bounty hunters. What do you think of this?

540  Economy / Economics / Re: What manipulators want on: September 17, 2018, 08:52:13 AM
Of course money. They want that they could earn money the way exactly as you have said. I just don't know how these things could happen because if you are going to look at how the market is really going up or down matters. People unlike before are now so hesitant to go on investing maybe they have matured enough in terms of investing and this could be seen by the way market falls so hard as of now.
