The devs aren't just responsive, they're also very very hard working. It's very very undervalued right now.

Same as with LISK, if you've heard from it. DELEGATED Proof of Stake. Which means only 101 delegates (on whom can be voted by people who hold Shift) can stake, or as we like to call it ''forge''. To become a delegate you just need some good internet connection(doesn't have to be fast, just reliable) and get people to vote you (or just vote yourself). Most people use Linux right now, but I think soon there will be an easier way to use Windows for it. Anyway, delegates that have a good connection and seldomly are offline naturally get voted to the top, and those who have occasionally down time will lose their votes.

And I understand you might want to sell everything, but before you do, you should realize that the Slack group members tripled in the meantime and that the whole swap created some nice publicity, but apparently you weren't the only one that wants to dump, lots of SHIFT is dumped already, fortunately for me, I had some nice low buy-orders.

And I think soon there will be a a newsletter something, which probably has some kind of roadmap. And what does this bring that other coins don't? An amazing way to decentralize the internet and very very hard working devs.

Kinda amazing that it's working better than LISK itself.

So SHIFT, a former fork of ETH was attacked by 51% attacks, it's hash rate just wasn't strong enough compared to these big miners, they asked for ransom but the SHIFT team didn't give them anything. So they tried it again and the Shift team had this great idea to switch from Ethereum like blockchain to a new LISK fork, in which they can't be 51%ed. They also said that the LISK languages could be beneficial for the concept of Shift, Decentralized Internet/Web hosting. But while the swap happened, the Bittrex exchange disabled wallets and suspended trading for over a month. In the mean time the (Shift Slack group)(http://www.shiftnrg.org/slack-auto-invitation) tripled it's amount of users.

This is an interesting situation, what will happen if a market suddenly continues after a long break?

There's however, exchanges that invested in the ICO, that  offer ''fake''  ICN before the launch, which they paid for and will get, and so when released they will be able to send  real ICN to the buyers of the ''fake''  (I don't want to use the word fake, but I can't think of a better one, like a swap token I guess)

But the problem here is, that if something goes wrong, you do not have ICN, all you have are these tokens, that will probably become real ICN if everything goes well, but in the end, they're not real ICN yet. Also, on exchanges like this, the amount bought isn't that much, and the price is easily pumped, creating an unrealistic price, which actually might increase publicity, but some people will buy at a far too high price on fomo and will be duped, which is sad.

Anyway, you can't trade real ICN yet.

Suspended trading is not the same thing as delisting, it will be back soon, after the migrating to LISK I think.

I think most users right now support the devs and their hardwork and not the ''classic Shift blockchain''

PoS is safer than PoW if there's not over a 1000 miners.  They don't have that much Shift left, so it's not like they will control the blockchain, the holders/stakers will control the blockchain, but I would use my stake to go with them as I trust them with the network they created.

Would websites like Kickass Torrents benefit a lot from this technology?
