why was bittrex so late to add this coin to their exchange?

We got added almost immediately after launch last year and have been on Bittrex ever since

Trading was just disabled during the migration.

Hi Ondin,

yes, an official roadmap is in preparation and will be released shortly.

In the meantime here's a brief summary that details our past and future developments:

The midterm roadmap will see us bring back Phantom, our flagship product which we had in alpha
state on the old chain. Our main development lies in decentralized web, closely integrated with the
benefits of an underlying blockchain.

So far with our last Alpha release you were able to create a site, register a top level domain (e.g.
myblog.shift) with a smart contract and publish the default template to our fully meshed network.

The future will see a lot more applications in this direction like decentralized social media, easy to
use web site creators, secure messaging, decentralized markets and much more. All while offering
users the security of a free and resilient way to publish any content.

first find the process with:
ps axl | grep app

sudo kill (no of the process)       for example     sudo kill 8021 8022 (kill both with one command)

sudo rm -rf shift

sudo apt-get purge -y -qq postgres*

sudo git clone https://github.com/shiftcurrency/shift.git && cd shift && sudo ./shift_manager.bash install

sudo (name of your editor) config.json  (whitelist your ip in API and Forging)

sudo forever start app.js


New version will ask you for IP of the VPS, password and email.
Good luck with forging.

We urge users to upgrade to the latest version Shift v5.0.0. This update is mandatory update and needs to be
done immediately, please see https://github.com/shiftcurrency/shift

If you use the install script (shift_manager.bash) you have to resync the blockchain. Make sure to backup your
config.json if you have any delegate secrets configured. The easist approach is to remove the whole directory
after backing up config.json, clone the new version and use the install script, and copy back your config.json.

You do not need to run the shift server as root. you do not need sudo for the last four commands
