Present perfect actually Wink I do see that all the cool kids are using 7-zip now though so maybe I'll give it a try, just never had reason to change it really.

lol, what are you, an english teacher?

yes, 7zip's unrivaled chillness and coolity is one of the major factors for adoption "in the hood".

Used to be an English teacher yeah Smiley

aaaand now you're a crypto millionaire, what a career ;P
522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [MYR] Myriad - Multi Algo - SHA or Scrypt or Qubit or Skein or Groestl on: March 28, 2014, 09:27:28 PM
i like the multitude of colors ... looks good and to me signifies the possibility for adopting new algorithms into the protocol

yeah, i think so too. design should be very pure and sophisticated, white and some anthracite to leave more room for the logo itself.

just keep it basic until the community gets around to define the brand.

hey hardcoreminers,

could you lower the auto payout a bit from 9999 to, say, 500?

Hah, what's wrong with winrar? Its served me well for many years.

"served" you well. past tense. 7zip be the future yo!
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN][GRP] - Graphene ★ Scrypt-Jane ★ PoW/PoS ★ nFactor - Launched! on: March 28, 2014, 04:58:42 PM
Use any other unzip program to unzip this it will prompt you for password. If you are using windows builtin you will get this error

Am I the only one with an error when I try to unpack the wallet file?

specify the error and maybe someone can help Smiley

okay Smiley I've never had this error before.

you can get 7zip for free on the web and should be able to take it from there.

maybe the dev could upload a password-less wallet, since we're done with the launch?

dumps come from rumors that China Gov will shut down exchanges.

That is the bane of current down spiral.

If it is confirmed, all alt coins will suffer.

I think all coins but the fundamentally sound and innovative ones. But remember, these are just rumors and nothing is confirmed, so it won't be constant dumping.

the china ban for btc was once again fake news. there is rumor of an orchestrated fud campaign, supported by planned dumps and strategic buys from larger investors.

so when people pull out of bitcoin at least some will drop any other holdings to convert to btc and then to fiat. i checked my portfolio just now and was also a bit shocked to see myriad down to 280 from 340 yesterday. then i saw bitcoin is down 10% and realy couldn't worry less Cheesy

http://myr-groestl.poolerino.com/

pls give it a try, its not finished designed but working, need to find a block so Wink

switching over tomorrow, seriously don't get why poolerino pools get so little love from miners.

It has come to my attention that newcomers have no idea where to point their hash power. Here are the pools that I've tested, are stable and can be easily contacted in case of problems

Skein - http://myrsk.nut2pools.com/ (if nut2pools has any other algos running I would recommend them, they are stable and comunicative)

Groestl - http://eup2pool.cryptopools.com:3333/static/ (P2Pool, only one I used but since the others are identical in setup I presume they work like a charm too)
Groestl - http://usp2pool.cryptopools.com:3333/static/ (P2Pool)
Groestl - http://asiap2pool.cryptopools.com:3333/static/ (P2Pool)

Scrypt - http://myr.nut2pools.com/
Scrypt - http://myr.coinsprofit.com/

SHA256D - http://myr.poolerino.com/ (reputable, Mike is always online and responsive)
SHA256D - http://ispace.co.uk/ (very reputable and stable)

Qubit - https://cpu-pool.net/myr/ (have not mined qubit, but I presume they are doing well since we had no complains)
Qubit - http://myr.nonce-pool.com/ (same)

For other pool owners this list is not meant to promote pools but to recommend pools I have used and have always been stable and quick to solve any problems, so if you feel left out I am sorry and you are free to advertise your pool.

hey,

i noticed right now the block explorer doesn't show the real difficulty for the scrypt algo. it says 10.x but right now we're at 8.46. just a heads up.

what pool are you on ?

you might be on a forked chain

say whaaaaa? cryptopool.eu. it started out with a way low diff like 4 or so and is now stuck at 8.4

hi everyone,
i'm newcomer & i want to put 2x 270x on the myriad network.
is it more profitable to mine skein or scrypt algo ?
mining with my i5 750 can it be worth ?

ps: dont forget to vote on mintpal.

you can mine which algo gives you the most coins, however consider the energy costs you save when mining one of the non scrypt algos. i like qubit the most, it saves around 40% of kwh.

well, i think it might be actually time to start some promotion.

what do we need? i'm a freelance motion designer. i'll do the work (mostly) for free, but voice over costs money.

How about you show some of your work, poolerino.com pays you a bit and you make two for myr for free and one for poolerino and my company?
For my company I need some cool promotion clips for new apps and ideas.

are you the same mike as in the poolerino chat?

edit: concerning some myriad promo, i'm gonna post in the subreddit, this thing here is way too cluttered up and i don't have the time to browse for replies Cheesy
538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official BlackCoin statement from CryptoRush - Very shocking information on: March 25, 2014, 10:40:01 AM
i filed a bug with your support literally seconds after the fork was announced, then again when the wallet update was out.

it took you 6! hours to figure this out? other exchanges were done in a matter of minutes.
539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [MYR] Myriad - Multi Algo - SHA or Scrypt or Qubit or Skein or Groestl on: March 25, 2014, 09:10:59 AM
you may notice that there is another chain available on the abe part of the block explorer, a small coin developer asked me for a favor to host their explorer so I did, because they're a zero premine coin and because that's just the kind of guy I am. I want it to be known that I did not charge him even 1 satoshi because that's how the crypto community should work (*hint to ahmed about the groestl stratum) Smiley)))

I just wanted you guys to know this before people start saying I'm a coin hopper or something, that was just a helping hand for a fellow crypto enthusiast. I do not endorse/support/hold any amount of that coin, I just think everyone should do their own thing and if I can help then why not.

traitor!

burn the witch!
