Lol, mindfox is like magic. He posted that and stuff straightened itself back out with the current mining and orphans and such.
Thank you. Being a member of Zeuspool admin team, it means a lot to have users appreciate the work and effort we are putting so the pool is up and service all our hungry for blocks miners All of you guys have done amazing work getting the coin back on track. You never see devs (and non devs) put a 1/10 of the effort in that people involved with this coin have.

Are you sure that you didn't delete the wallet.dat from your folder? If you did that, then you have a new wallet address and unless you kept a backup of the old file, you destroyed your coins yourself. Otherwise, you can wait for the block explorer to come back online and check the existance of the transactions id yourself.
100% positive the wallet is intact. Have multiple backups as well. Before i was aware of the incident i noticed my wallet re-locked. I re-opened it for minting and the coins immidiately drained out and started posting as stake. Wasn't sure this was normal so came here to look.. and saw mention of the problems. I don't know how the process works, so i'm not sure exactly what happened. If the coins ( the originals that is ) are gone, well, it sucks but such is life. If it's possible to retrieve them i'd like to try to do so. Just not sure how to go about it. Edit: for clarity I recommend waiting till tomorrow for the block explorer to come online. In the mean time, keep your wallet open so it's synced all the time. After that, we'll see what we can do. Sounds like a plan to me.

So all my coins went to stake right about the time this for happened. They're no longer in the wallet and didn't come back when i re-opened for minting, are they gone for good?
If those coins were coming from blocks with height number higher than the one that we restarted ( a few hours after the incident happened ), then yes, they are lost, as they were never meant to be created in the manner they did. No, my original coins which were mined at launch, are gone. Edit: For clarity, i mined 19 blocks at launch. They posted early on. the dev stated they are not affiliated with the actual faircoin dev's at all. Most people in the thread called scam

I get that it's not easy to come up with a substantial amount upfront. If one can't mine it back, then it's kinda pointless. Otoh, demanding something and setting low ball "donations", i.e. "I want it, and at the price I determine" is at best spamming and wasting everyone's time.
I'm mostly saying this to prevent that the most talented people of the community end up becoming fed up and leave or slow down to a crawl. I've seen it a few times, either someone that optimized scrypt OpenCL, the dude that modded ATI bios to lower the vram latency, etc...
I didn't see demands anywhere. I saw offers. Calm yourself.

This coin is passed on! This coin is no more! It has ceased to be! It's expired and gone to meet it's maker! It's a stiff! Bereft of life, it rests in peace! It's pushing up the daisies! It's metabolic processes are now history! It's off the twig! It's kicked the bucket! It's shuffled off it's mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisible!! THIS IS AN EX-COIN!!
100 FTC to the first who guess from what sketch this was adapted !

i dont get how the 1 pool is getting beat for blocks though.
Because the people with battlecruisers worth of hash generally don't use pools. And thanks to the brilliant concept of "shit reward to start" and "lolinstantKGW" the little miners (guys with 1-5mh) get a giant steamy shit while the big guys still rake it in.

Looks like KGW was turned on DIFF already sky high... Screw this
it's 0.77 its 1.96... at block 91

I think we're at "Something is still busted" right now.

Hey everyone.. Is there a way to lower the diff the pool assigns you? At 64 diff shares and 8 sec blocks my antminer is having a hard time submitting anything
What pool are you on suprnova ya meto, check the pool stats if it shows your normal hashrate you should be fine, the dash board only shows 1/4th of my normal hashrate The pool info was incorrect for me as well, however the diff has adjusted down for me
