Kelvin De Bruyne's inability to perform well since the start of the season is caused by the injury he picked in the beginning of the season and not because he can't do well if he was actually fit enough for games.  It seems that Newcastle's misfortunes will not end, this time Joelinton was injured, he was out of the game for 6 weeks. He has problems with his quadriceps tendon, which is a complex injury. There has to be a logical explanation for Newcastle having so much injured, it's probably that Howe puts too much pressure on the players and they just can't handle it with all the tournaments they play.

The injuries have made a serious impact on Man Cities squad. They will start playing much better no doubt when all players recover. All the teams now are scared with the comeback of Kevin De Bruyne. He is the main key in their team and with him they are different team and on a much better level. So i doubt with him that it will be hard to take away points from Man City

Barcelona didn't get a surprising result and made it to the finale in the Super Cup.    They didn't feel a serious threat against Osasuna even though the game was played at a neutral location. I thought the finale would be on a far date from now but unlike that it is only two days later. It is going to be really lovely to watch another El Clasico very soon.

Real Madrid are of course the favoured side. They have already been doing much better than Barcelona in other competitions. I think they will show their performance quality in this finale as well to become the champions. Xavi had better prepare his players in the best way for a tough challenge.
