521  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Is cyber crime the last resort of the struggling Nigerians on: January 14, 2024, 07:44:00 AM
I was going through the social media and came across this news about the Economic and Financial Crime Commission Chairman, Olukoyede saying that 7 out of 10 Nigerian students are involved in cyber crime. This is not something to be proud of because it means that 70% of Nigerian students are into cyber crime which I think it is not true entirely when deeper analysis is done about it.

We know that the rate of cyber crime within Nigerians and especially student is increasing but I don’t think it has gotten to that level that he said already. We know this moment are hard times and the economy is not friendly to everyone. Settling for cyber fraud shouldn’t be the last resort for any Nigerian. How can this be averted in the country and what are the possible solutions to stop students from involving in such criminal activities.

https://www.instagram.com/p/C0gaCP0s5MJ/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

OP, I am shocked to have read this post now and what baffles me the most is the percentage of young people, especially the students who are involved in the cyber crime activities. For the EFCC chairman to have highlighted that 7 out of 10 Nigerian students are involved in cyber related crimes is a figure that should ordinarily hurt any well meaning young Nigerian. These are not small percentages and I don't think the numbers are looking at decreasing anytime.

I can tell that the reason why many students are involved in this cyber crimes boils down to the economic crisis currently experienced by the country. Families are falling into economic issues everyday and only a few are coming out of poverty. Over 30% of our population is gone below the poverty line and the poverty rate has only been increaseing by the year. Last year, it was calculated at over 80-90 million people.

Could it also be that the government is encouraging these young people by not encouraging them to learn digital skills as an alternative to the over bloated government jobs. In this regard, I will advise the government to concentrate more on the digital skills across the 36 states of Nigeria to bolster their productivity and reduce these crime rates. These skills should be infused in our educational curriculum from start.
522  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: My people ooo, all these moderators just dey delete my posts anyhow on: January 14, 2024, 07:17:23 AM
Moderators will continue to delete your posts until you stop using AI bots to write your posts and stop plagiarizing. The moderators were lenient with you this time, but next time you may get a ban. To prevent this from happening you should change your behavior on the forum.

As a matter of fact, I think the moderators have been so kind and considerate to him for not banning OP all these while, maybe because OP is still a newbie and is expected to improve over the time. I also like that OP is open to learning for him to have come to the local board to seek for help from other members here.

It is key for OP to understand the core mandate of this forum and for him to understand that this forum does not expect him to be spectacular or superficial before he can contribute to the subjects being discussed here. You need to understand that this forum encourages only those that maintain originality as a criteria for quality posts and not those who use AI generated texts or go online to copy and paste plagiarized texts to make a post. If such thing had been encouraged, the forum will lose its core mandate which revolves around originality.

If English is not your first language, you cannot force it to be and the moment you try to impress others here, smart members will understand your plagiarism just from the tone of your words without necessary using tools to detect your plagiarism. So be simple and self explanatory.

Also realize that you cannot outsmart anyone on this platform thinking that you smartly copy plagiarized texts and paste here, there are several online plagiarism checks like 1Text.com plagiarism checker that can be used to expose you. So, all I'm saying is be yourself and try to be explanatory in your own terms.

Note that the forum does not expect you to know everything, so always try to attempt only topics you have knowledge on or go for research and learn about topics of interest that you want to contribute on. Through this forum alone, trying to make contribution to topics of interest, I have learnt a lot of new things while conducting my research before responding to a matter of discussion.

Good luck mate!
523  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Using QR codes as Bitcoin address protection on: January 14, 2024, 06:59:29 AM
I was reading some threads talking about malware attacks and clipboard virus so I thought of using something new to protect Bitcoin address, though I'm still anticipating a cold wallet to use this method on but I thought of sharing it. I don't know if this belongs here or beginners and help.

So as when your bitcoin address is requested you can just send the image for scan to prevent your Bitcoin address from being tempered with. I also thought of how easy it would be for businesses that uses Bitcoin as payment method. It could be printed out and pasted on points where it can be scanned easily.

Although there could be some negative effect of this action but at least it's a good ideal from my perspective.

I don't think QR codes provide any better protection to your wallets. I also see that you mentioned cold wallets, if you are talking about storing your private keys in a QR code, that will be the worst and most craziest idea to ever attempt – I'm saying this will all sincerity of purpose — because I QR Codes are never a safe way of securing your private keys neither is it an alternative to cold wallets.

In fact, even though we've seen bitcoin exchange platforms like Binance and Trust wallet that gives you the option of using QR codes to replace your address, I think it is mostly provided to serve as an easy way to allow your a sender send you funds to your wallets without having to copy your wallet address. In that regards, one could encourage you to use QR codes especially as you are scared of the sender mistakenly tempering with your address which are represented in hexadecimals. I can encourage the use of QR Codes in P2P transactions especially when they are closed transactions.

For public transactions, which includes a situation when you have to drop your wallet address in a public space, I can advise that you use your wallet address instead of the QR Code as people can manipulate your QR Codes to theirs and you will not notice the difference. But at least, once there's a change in your wallet address, you can easily detect that.

LASTLY, DO NOT USE QR CODES TO STORE YOUR PRIVATE KEYS, IT'S ONLY EXPOSING YOUR KEYS TO HACKERS WHO CAN MANIPULATE YOUR QR CODES.
524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What you can benefit from investing in Bitcoin on: January 14, 2024, 06:38:41 AM
As a late investor in Bitcoin, I have come to realize some benefits from investing in this cryptocurrency which includes:
1: With just your smartphone you can carry out financial services.
2: In bitcoin, you have full control of your financial assets. You have ownership to your private keys which is not always available in our normal banking.
3: As freelancer who works online, you can use bitcoin to facilitate some of your transactions.

These are three reasons why I will not hesitate to learn more about the technology in bitcoin and educate myself more on how I can invest in bitcoin as well.
Firstly, with just my smartphone I'm able to do virtually everything I need to do in terms of self-services without having to knock at the doors of any bank for over a year or two now. This I believe also opened doors for more banks to go smart in their technology thereby adopting the use of mobile banking app as an alternative to their physical banking.

Secondly, I have never personally felt so secure with my financial assets, like when I use Bitcoin because of the full control I have over my wallets. Unlike the normal banking platforms where I fear liquidation of banks thereby running away with my savings and investments or situations where they default government rules and get banned, then you have to start being worried about the safety of your finances amongst others.

Also, the fear that you do not have control over your own assets as they can be tempered with and some banks will use your money to trade in their businesses without giving you the desired interest is another angle. Other than that will also include that, with Bitcoin, which is open-sourced and can be monitored by me, I feel more safe to invest in such system since there's a quantifiable amount of security to that and as an address owner. You feel your ownership right with you.

Thirdly, I'm also a freelancer and I have got clients from different parts of the world. I have encountered with clients who requested to pay on my wallet instead of using the banks. This is because I think it is easier for them due to the forex exchanges and the difficulties in forex trade. Also, before I started using Bitcoin for international transactions, clients will pay me for a job and it will take another extra 3 to 7 days at worst cases to arrive. It was so boring and tiring for me but with my wallet, every transaction is made swiftly in just seconds and I can immediately swap it out for use.

Quote
4: As a business owner or an entrepreneur one can accept payment in Bitcoin.
5: When there is currency devaluation, one can use Bitcoin to protect their wealth even though there is risk of price volatility.

For any individual who has not invested in Bitcoin, I would advise you to give it a try. Ignorance shouldn't prevent you from investing in Bitcoin. Read, research, and gather all the knowledge you need to know about it here.

Ignorance should not stop us from learning and I also advise us to be perpetual learners, educating ourselves on the new financial breakthroughs like the cryptocurrencies and how they operate and this will help make your life better and much more easier than the way the government takes it.
525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to generate a Bitcoin Statement of Transaction on: January 13, 2024, 03:11:26 PM
So in conclusion, I'm hereby convince that as lovers and people who uses Bitcoin for day to day transaction, this is one feature that it's a must we all need to know about it and how to use it in times of need, because though this year is making it my 4th year of effectively using Bitcoin for transaction, I must confess I never knew about this feature, not until last month (I.e December 2023), and as such I thought It will be wise if I share it among others who may not know that such feature like this exists.

I'm really intrigued by your thoughts to put this piece together and I will also like to take it back to my local board to enlighten my fellow members more about things like this.

For me, it is not just all about generating Bitcoin statement of account but also the idea that came to you to put out this piece for others to learn. This doesn't necessarily mean that we don't know about the situation yet, but what it means is that we need to allow others who are new into bitcoin or were never aware of it like the OP himself and other bitcoin users.

I think knowledge is all about touching up on an idea people are most likely interested and the good thing about sharing knowledge is the fact that not everyone is aware of things you and I already know about.
526  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Invest in something that worth your money on: January 13, 2024, 07:06:51 AM
As I come BY last year I see one big house for the capital and I com try ask and then say those people done carry many investors money run. according to watin I hear be say if you invest, them go use your money take trade forex but along the line them done run with people money.

So let's be careful and learn to invest in something that worth investing instead of investing in something that doesn't worth our money.

You talk am well and I think say this matter wey you just talk now E they very important for a new year like this. As everybody talk say them go go free for this year, that statement alone comes with a lot of responsibilities which includes you understanding whatever business you want to sink money into. It's very vital to understand the nitty-gritty of the business, your calculated profits and the time length it will take to materialize.

Its not always a good ethics to  jump into any investment or trade, this is the reason why many people fall into the wrong hands. Before you go in deeply, understand the SWOT Analysis of the business, check the project proposal very carefully and ensure that they all make your checklist. Finally ask those who are experts in the business to understand if you are making the right decision to invest in the business.

528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not a means to an end, Do it for fun and don't take it as a job on: January 13, 2024, 04:02:04 AM
sometimes the situation is quite different, most people who have a small economy often get caught up in gambling and use it as a hope, in contrast to people who have enough economy they gamble with pleasure

Well I see that as a weak and negative mindset to gambling. If you are gambling because you have meagre resources and want to earn a living as a gambler, it is a very wrong decision as far as I am concerned because it will end up ruining the person's financial life and well-being. People who have small economy should do less of fun things to make money, since gambling is also a way of catching fun. They should diversify in different businesses to scale up their business opportunities.

But of course a lot of people caught up in this situation, gambling with the intention of making more money. I will say that is wrong and they should have instead think of creative ideas that can even create gambling platform ls or games like you.

People can take it as the jobs ~XD

Example: Streamer, Poker Profesional. As long you can control and manage your self, these industry have some potential. Especially on (Streamer) the money flow is really big as you can see the contract between Stake - Influencer

It's really rolling.

Or better still, people can pay more attention into creating the gambling platforms with the intention of making more money through it. Like those creating casino games out there, many of us can come up with much creative platforms and betting games that will interest gamblers thereby making a living from it.
529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your view on this? Is it fun or addiction? on: January 13, 2024, 03:49:38 AM
So in weekends in my departmental WhatsApp group, we just randomly talk about soccer bets and sometimes drop a particular game and keep it open for correct score prediction to be made on it, and the first person with the correct score goes home with a data subscription, this has been going on for almost two years now and people have gotten used to it without knowing it.

This is one of the chat I just bumped into by one of us in the group chat and at this point I feel most of my friend have made it compulsory to always gamble every weekend.

Do you see this as addiction or just catching of fun?

Mind you, we just enjoy the moment and might just joke around with people making predictions based on the teams,  they love but we are mostly gamblers at our different ends.

Two different things in my opinion. Addiction and Fun. And gambling can fall in between the two of the divide. As some may take it as a career path to gamble and make a living with it. A lot more out there will see gambling as a fun game. As a way of unwinding their stressful life and spending it on gambling. For instance, a man out there have lived his life on a salary-earning job under a private firm and he suddenly just lost the job, a gambler can decide to take out of his sorrowful moment to gamble and make a fun out of it whereas another person out there with his job and take a time out of his business schedules to gamble. I think that's some addiction there.

And O yes, just to respond to the question of whether one can become addicted to any fun game. In fact, almost a 100 percent of gambling is in the games people play for fun everyday and that's why numerous people are addicted to gambling.

Continue to gamble and take a loan? For gamblers that are not new to gambling, it would be seen as a joke. But it should also not to be taken for a joke. Why would someone gamble to the extent it will get to taking a loan? That is an addiction already and nothing else.

Gambling should be without loan. Also gambling should be without 95% of the money you are earning. Even only 1% of the money that you are earning should be used to gamble is the recommendation.

If you use 1% to gamble and continue to lose, you have no loan to take and you have no difficulty to face.

If I try to understand your point, the advice you are giving to gamblers is for those gambling not to firstly involve in taking loans to gamble and secondly, not to take loans using a majority or all of their incomes but just to take a few of their income, like 1% to gamble.

Well, for the first advice, I will completely agree with you over it and will not encourage anyone out there to go into loans to gamble. If gambling is seen as a fun thing and one is not already addicted to the fun, then there should be no reason to why you should go into taking loans to purposely engage into gambling and I will always discourage such decisions even when you claim to be an expert in gambling like some will do.

Secondly, the issue of using a little percentage out of your earnings to gamble, I think it's absolutely a thing of choice and the decision is to be taken by the gambler. However, just like in investment, where you are not encouraged to invest your money and profits to one investment, I won't also encourage you to use all your earnings to play gambling games.
530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: January 12, 2024, 10:21:51 PM
Benzema with his time in Lyon, played as a striker but when he moved to Real Madrid, he played more like a forward than a striker. The scoring task in Real Madrid many years was assigned to Cristiano Ronaldo and Benzema accepted his role to support Cristiano. He is not a bad striker as his last two seasons with Real Madrid proved how good he could do as a club main striker.

Karim Benzema is such a great guy to rely on especially when it comes to your forward and at a time when you are desperately looking for goals. The French striker has always guaranteed goals wherever he finds himself and has not ceased in doing that in the Saudi Pro Leagues. Although, I will prefer the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi than Benzema, However in an even those two goal manufacturers are not around, I will not hesitate to pick Benzema. He can make the goal and still create the opportunity for another to win more goals.

Quote
In Saudi Professional League, he is still professional as he has been always a professional player over many years but he is affected by his age. Benzema seems to not have a good given physical body like Cristiano and his performance is affected more seriously by ageing than Cristiano since 2022. He is younger than Cristiano and still has time to come back like how Cristiano did after some months of poor performances in Manchester United.

Ageing? I don't think he's so that old or weak to talk about or that he's losing his talents. Well personally I'm not of that perspective. I'm more strong of the opinion that it takes every player who's transfers to a new club, some time to understand the gameplay of the club before he can get use to them and he also needs a well solid group of young and highly talented players so he can work with them to score more goals and mentor them well to become stronger
531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 12, 2024, 06:43:20 PM
Real Madrid are favorites in the final, but I have no hesitation in supporting Barcelona to secure the Spanish Super Cup title again this season. I admit that Barcelona's performance has decreased this season compared to last season, but that is not necessarily the reason why Barcelona deserves to lose in the final this season.

Barcelona has advantages and disadvantages, as does Real Madrid. One of the two will win the final and it has become a custom that both of them beat each other. This season, Barcelona lost to Real Madrid in La Liga in the first meeting, but Barcelona could beat Real Madrid in the next match. In my opinion, Barcelona in any case should never be underestimated even if Real Madrid is the favorite.

Let's be more of realists than just supporting and of course that's the fun part of football when you have those fans who support you regardless of the situation you find yourself as a club. For instance there are some periods when clubs are in their worse moments, as fans, you are supposed to support the clubs and wish them well as if they're the only best.

However, as a realistic person, if you want Barcelona to win or take the title, then they must also brace up their performance and work harder. It's not really easy to play between these leagues and stand strong in all. This is why having good players beyond the first XI is very important to the success of any team. As star clubs, they must look beyond the first XI and always scout for promising players in the second eleven to balance the team by creating alternatives.
532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 12, 2024, 06:29:23 PM
Yes, I heard about this conflict and Osimhen spoke very harshly about this agent on Twitter - he told him to shut his dirty mouth and all that stuff. To be honest, I didn’t understand at all why that agent started saying such strange things, maybe later we’ll find out the reason behind all this bickering.
As for Chelsea, yes, they can probably afford to buy Osimhen and even without aggravating their situation in terms of FFP - they only need to sell some of the players to free up finances for a new transfer.

I am not a fan of supporting people blindly so I prefer to get as much information as possible from the incidents that happened before jumping into conclusion and drawing my perspective or opinion from it. Firstly, it is not just okay for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s agent, Jugeli  to release statements about Osihmhen without have a fact record or accurate information at hand. It is not really encouraging for him to just make statements on other players other than his especially as it relates with the issue of transfers and club, when he's very much aware of the existing sour that exists between the player and his club.

Secondly, Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda is not at fault to find that insulting for another agent to dictate or predict the future of his player since such can affect the reputation of his player. Any thing about the transfer of the player from Napoli to any other club, not just the Saudi clubs have to be announced by Calendar and not Judeli because they are sensitive to the player's professional career. Delving into such issues to make public announcement kindof will only result in crisis especially when Osihmhen just signed a renewed contract with Napoli not quiet long.

Liverpool won their match against Fulham and they’ve had 2 wins out of 2 since Salah got absent due to the AFCON. This team have tried to maintain victory even with his absence but they’ve struggled and not scored plenty of goals. And this Liverpool team is used to scoring plenty of goals, i feel the second leg of the encounter will be quite fierce especially as Fulham tried to contain them this first leg though they couldn’t hold for long.  Moh Salah still out so I think Fulham will learn from this match and head to the next with all they’ve learned.

The most interesting part of this match was the 2 goals that were scored by Liverpool in 3 minutes after Fulham started the first half of the game with the much needed energy. Liverpool later showed their professionalism in the second half with the goals. Fulham who were the visitors stepped into Anfield with William goal but was later to be canceled by more goals won by the homeowners. Well done Klopp!

533  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: Getting international passport is now easier on: January 11, 2024, 10:06:41 PM
For some times now e dey very difficult to obtain international passport for this country. The money wey you go spend and the long time e go take before being processed really dey discouraging. This administration together with the ministry of interior and immigration services don launch the automation passport system.

Tunji Ojo needs to be wholeheartedly applauded and duly appreciated for the landmark achievements he have recorded in the ministry, especially, when he orchestrated the clearance of over 200,000 backlogs of passports left in the system for the very long time now. I can't imagine that gone are those days when you find it very difficult to get a passport ready, but you have to wait tirelessly or lobby for it with an insider officer to help you push the process to a fruition. To the point that he was even awarded with the "Public Service Person Of The Year 2023” by Leadership newspaper.

Anyways, at least we are improving. Easily opening the borders would make foreign Interactions easy. People who leave the country for any reason especially Education and are patriotic enough can even come back and better the country. So, if possible the price and time span should also be cut down in the near future. God bless this country.

His attention to the neglected border community have also been profound which before he came it was a big issue by those people who are most oftentimes being ignore in the scheme of works. The second aspect is the milestone he recorded with the decongestation of over 4,000 inmates in the Nigerian correctional facilities.
534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 10, 2024, 11:59:26 PM
Ancelotti and his boys are really playing and putting all efforts in their game. I guess this season might be a good one for them and I agree with you, they do tend to stand out from the other teams in the La liga Santander most especially their arch rivals Barcelona. With the season is going for them I see them winning the champions league and even the la Liga although it's still early but with the showdown I watch this night with their game with against athletic Madrid it's okay to say real Madrid are building back that their winning drive that has helped them win lots of league titles.

I'm thrilled by the performance of the Real Madrid right now, following the 5 goals win over the Atletico Madrid who got 3 goals at the end of the match. The interesting part of the game was the effort that Atletico put into their plan to ensure that they win but kindly enough, Real Madrid canceled the goals with Rudiger's and Mendy. Immediately after Mendy's goal and Griezman. Carvajal, Savic and Brahim who scored at the deadline of the match.
535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think women will make better gamblers by their nature? on: January 10, 2024, 11:36:17 PM
Women by nature are more conservative than men. They are better manager of resources and know how to prioritise things. This is what is needed for successful gambling because with it, the chances of using funds meant for basic needs in gambling will be minimised.

So do you think women will make better gamblers than men?

In what aspect? How do you evaluate this or what do you think women are aware of in terms of gambling that men are not? Do you think women can bear more lost than men, and is gambling just all about the loses or do you think women can guess right more than men will. I don't think Bitcoin is anyway associated with gender-specific traits.

To say the least is for you to mention that women are probably more knowledgeable than men which is not a fact anywhere as far as my knowledge and research is concerned. If that's the case, then all you need to attain mastery or become victorious about gambling is your strategy, discipline and understanding of odds.

But how is this related to gambling discussion? For women to be gambling instead of men if they can have better self-control or what are you talking about? If I should tell my mind, this kind of thread is not needed at all and it belongs to off-topic.

If most women can know how to manage more than most men, that is the reason you will see just few women that are gambling, unlike we men. If women are gambling, some may also be prone to addiction.

I agree with you on your last paragraph. If women are to indulge into gambling as men do, I feel like they may fall victim of addiction since the games are generally addictive and women seems to be more emotionally attached to things they desire than men do. So, there is no gender-specific traits to gambling and it is an oversimplification to say women will make better gamblers than men.
536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 10, 2024, 04:51:23 PM
I think it's not because Real Madrid is currently good, but the Atletico Madrid team is inconsistent and has experienced a slight decline in performance recently so that Real Madrid is the favorite to be able to beat Atletico Madrid.
While Barcelona is really down right now, I think Osasuna's chances are bigger to advance to the final.
Real Madrid is currently in a very good form and all their key players are in good condition and very ready for this game against atletico, with vinicious and Bellingham present in this game I doubt if Atletico has got any chance with this coupled with the fact that Real Madrid will be playing from home it's an advantage for them.

Real Madrid is very optimistic to win this match but like you said, they need more players to fill in the space. Bellingham and other guys need to stay very focused and strong at the very best. It will be good to see a scenario where Real Madrid will face Barcelona in the finals or in another hand, Osasuna meeting with Atletico to take the lead. Sometimes, it is refreshing to see these junior teams take the lead and titles.

Im excited about this Real Madrid-Atletico Madrid match. I lean toward Real Madrid since their recent form is more promising. With Vini Jr. back, their offense seems strong. Remember their Girona match? Atletico played well, but Real Madrid had the edge.

Its been a close match in their last five, but I think Real Madrid will win this time. They're not simply competing for points; a revenge plan is hatching following that LaLiga loss. Atletico never make it easy, but Real's momentum should help them. It will be an action-packed match!

Atletico Madrid won over Real Madrid in the last fixturing in a 3 to 1 win while Atletico was the one at home. This time around I feel like the table is going to turn around with Real Madrid seeming to win the match. That's my humble opinion though I'm not sure if that will be the case.

The match is still few hours away and we can't completely predict the formation and first XI for the clubs yet but I'm sure Ancelotti will be high on the heels now to make sure he takes the lead on this one. Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid won't also want to give up now because they are also very hopeful and confident that they will win again or draw in the match.

As a businessman or salary earners here are tips on how to stay poor in life. Grin

1. Spending your money on unnecessary items immediately the money arrives. Trying to prove a point to people by living a standard that is above your pay grade.

This is very true as I can personally attest to the bad side of spending your finances on unnecessary items that will not add to your financial assets. Or benefit you in the near and future. I have been a victim of trying to impress my peers and family members by always budgeting and spending money on things that do not impact me but rather ends up exceeding my pay grade. This is me always waiting to recieve my salary and spend it on family and friends problems. Always promising to solve people's problems leaving my own issues underlying. My advise to every young person out there is for them learn how to priorize their expenses and spend only on important things.

2. Live on one source of income. Everyday of our life our responsibilities and challenges keeps piling up accumulating without consideration to our financial capability. The economy and cost of living continue getting worsen. So in order not to be able to beat this piling settle comfortably on a single source of income flow.

On this aspect, I'm not doing so badly, my rule in life is for everyone out there to have at least 4 different streams of income. And 4 is the least for my standard. Like the Four Rivers of Paradise described in the Book of Genesis, where an unnamed stream flowing out of the Garden of Eden splits into Four different branches, so shall the blessings and riches of man come from different branches and for me the minimum will be four.

Therefore, I am a writer and content developer who works on profiling of celebrities and write blog articles talking about society, politics and business as my areas of focus. I am into graphics designer and a printer at the same working for private companies around my country. I am also a proud member of this forum and always try to contribute by sharing my opinions and perspectives to issues within my purview. Lastly, I own a PR company which is focused on image making and proper communication of brand missions and projects to the bigger and wider audiences.

3. Become an extremely cheerful giver/lender to friends and family. A wisdom quote I read somewhere said, "if you want to lose your friends and family lend them money".  Keeping doing this and you going to be successfully poor.

This i think is synonymous to the first statement especially as it concerns me. For others, it will be more of spendingon dresses, at clubs and other fashion or technological assessories, but for me it was more of spending on others or at most taking different girls out on dates. Thereby finishing up my finances on such events.

4.Learn how not to mind your own business, making every events around you your concern even when it doesn't affect you. It's a nice way to make cool enemies. Etc.

I trust you all get the sarcasm as conveyed.

Well, I would not also say that I'm the event type as I don't really like going to birthdays, anniversaries parties or whatnot, so making cool enemies is not really my thing but I see how people gradually make enemies on events that will absolutely be avoidable.

In a nutshell. Let's try and avoid unnecessary liabilities and expenses instead go into savings however little and get used to investing our money for the period of need.

The following is the most valuable guidelines of ending indecision and delay during investment on bitcoin.
1. Identify the area of indecision and remove fear that leads to failure.

I don't really blame or finger people for their indecision or fear in the Bitcoin investment including other cryptocurrencies, this is because most people are scared of the volatility in the market thereby becoming increasingly worried about the likely failure that can stem from the lost.

Secondly, most users as well as lovers of Bitcoin are mostly scared of the lack of knowledge on the intricacies of the technology thereby being fearful to invest in it. This is simply because the invention and adoption of Bitcoin is new to many, and only a few still have deepest understanding of the technical skills that surrounds the technology.

So, to take away fear from failure in the Bitcoin investment is to enlighten ourselves more with the technical aspects of the technology especially the investment associated risks and market trends.

2. Focus more on the benefits not on the losses.

The truth is, Bitcoin presents us with a myriad of benefits that can be compelling. One is supposed to look at the long term benefits of what comes with investment in the technology rather than looking at the short term losses that is associated with it. Understanding that Bitcoin gives us ample of opportunities to become financially independent through trading and investing in it, makes you feel better than worse in investing on Bitcoin. It also helps you to face the fears and build a thick skin around the potential failures that comes with it. Mind you, there's no business investment that doesn't come with associated risks and potential failures.

Looking at the bigger picture of why the technology supercedes the traditional banking will give you more confidence in investing in your time and efforts to learn more about it. For instance, Bitcoin gives you the opportunity to invest through the DCA approach and still make profits out of your investments. It also helps you to understand the market trend and minimize the risk and lost with your investments.

3. Create timetable and gives deadline.

Consistent and adherence to a consistent timeline through setting of achievable goals makes it easier for you to win in your bitcoin investment career. This can be achieved when you establish a well structured approach by crafting a clear timetable that will outline specific milestone for your investments. When you do that, it gives you a clarity and road map for your investment journey.

When you also give yourself the habit of regularly reviewing your milestones and cementing the mistakes, it gives you the edge to reduce the failure of the investments. This is mostly achieved through creating effective timetable, which makes you more organized, focused, discipline and result-oriented.

Optimism is key in every aspect of life. You fulfill your goals and desires, when you look at the positive side of investing, it gives you the spiritual energy and encouragement to triumph.

6. Always be self confidence

8. Evaluate positively and negatively  your past indecision and delay consequences
9. Put into action what your mind tells you without second thought.
I think this can help us this year on Bitcoin investment , please add yours to help our growth.

Other guidelines like understanding the scope others took to succeed and putting into action what your mind inspires you to do without a second thought, helps you to easily navigate your way to successful trading and investment. A good investor, is well guided and positively imparted by ideas that run into their minds. Your mindset tells a lot about your persona and goes on to influence your level of success in your investment life.

People dey always dey talk say power corrupt, power corrupt, yes most of us don talk am before, we dey think say na power dey corrupt person but the truth be say most of us already get corruption inside of us we only need the opportunity (power) to bring out the corruption in us. A man once said if you really want to know the person true self give him 3 things: Money, Power and Access to Sex. With this 3 things you can know any one true nature. So no be power dey corrupt, power only reveals corruption.

To an extent, I may seem to agree with your ascertions, but to a very large extent, I may like to disagree too. Saying this means that I believe there's no generality in what you said. Sometimes, people become tempted to power and as such they go into things they never thought they could through the influence of others. On this case, I fit talk say, the person mind been don almost they corrupt but na the opportunity to join the corruption na hin him been they lack, so as he saw the opportunity in the individuals surrounding him, or his colleagues, he grabbed it well by joining them.

Another reason why I been talk say I go disagree with you be say, there's what we call; SYSTEMIC CORRUPTION or in another words, ENDEMIC CORRUPTION, and that's the kind of corruption that happens within the weak system of an organization. Most of these corruptions take place in the public sector rather than the private sector.

In the kind of corruption, it is like a cabal or cartel system where it runs through ranks of the organization in an organized manner mostly orchestrated by the top officials or the government in itself to loot out funds from the organization. You don't need to have intentions to be corrupt before you're drawn into it, especially when you get promoted to such ranks. This time around it's not an individual thing and it in such cases that you're given the thin option to join the system or resign with immediate effect in the event that you refuse or frustrate the syndicate.
