522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Site to show best trade on: August 16, 2011, 08:45:24 PM
yeah im aware of that one, this was different. It just come up with like the top 6 places to buy from and where the best places to sell from are, and what % markup you could make instantly.

using bitcoincharts gets confusing since you have to convert currencys, would be good to have a method to display all in USD to see the top ones
523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Site to show best trade on: August 16, 2011, 08:40:56 PM
Hi.

Im looking for a website i had come across but completely forgot which it was. basically it displayed where the best exchange to buy from and where to sell it and how much mark up you would get. It displayed it in red and green blocks. Anyone have any idea?

Thanks

Joe
524  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bit coins and PayPal on: August 16, 2011, 02:42:42 PM
i can see that, but still the website service will not be publicly linked with a paypal page,

the only way paypal would know which account would be to buy bitcoins, then sell them with my system, which i dout they would go out of their way to do.

Even if it did get frozen, could easily make another account.
525  Other / Beginners & Help / placed order with britcoin... how long will this take? on: August 16, 2011, 02:39:31 PM

527  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bit coins and PayPal on: August 16, 2011, 12:15:17 PM
I can see how they work, but they dont provide an instant payment method for withdrawing funds.
528  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bit coins and PayPal on: August 16, 2011, 12:08:25 PM
ah i see.

What about other services like moneybookers / neteller. Which ever would be instant enough for people to want to use it.

I only plan to make an automated service that would buy people BTC. That way there is no risk for me except if the market crashed.

Obviously i would charge some sort of fee to make it worth my while where It would then automatically sell the BTC at the highest market price..

I guess paypal is out of the window but

my questions do not come all at once.

Would freezing accounts mean freezing the money?
530  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bit coins and PayPal on: August 16, 2011, 11:40:01 AM
Sorry, but when your limited to a single board its becomes very anoying, i only came on here to contact a member, but i have to stay logged in for 4 hours before i get white listed so i might as well post crap.

Why would it get frozen? I would be paying people with my account, not the other way around. All paypal would see is that im sending money to people. i dont see how this is agasint their policy
531  Other / Beginners & Help / Bit coins and PayPal on: August 16, 2011, 11:35:08 AM
Right I do understand that you cannot sell bitcoins via paypal, as its against the paypal policy and that people can rip you off and do a charge back.

But what about buying bit coins for paypal?

I was thinking on creating an automated system where people can deposit coins into my account which would send them back paypal currency. It would be a one way transaction. Since i would be the one to buy the currency from them, it would be much safer right?
532  Other / Beginners & Help / Why are ATI cards better for mineing? on: August 16, 2011, 11:30:29 AM
Just a thought, im only getting 20Mhash with my 9800GT card
533  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Method of mass mineing on: August 16, 2011, 11:25:34 AM
what do you get out of someone buying a graphics card for you only for you to have to use it for him?

The software is freeware. Its actually some casino bot that people are stupid enough to download anyway as it claims to cheat casinos out of money, i used to use it to gain money from the affiliate programs, but too many people started doing it. Still get quite a few downloads from it though.

534  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Method of mass mineing on: August 16, 2011, 11:07:09 AM
I am using bitcoin-miner.exe which support GPU. and its linked to a pool. So far its on about 10 machines and doing alright. around 1000 machines would get me a decent income.

Im sure i can sort something out with a pool, or just start my own pool. I am able to change a host file that updates the slaves with the details of the pool and settings etc.
535  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How are we protected from XSS? on: August 16, 2011, 11:03:34 AM
Only known about bitcoin a day and as intriguing as it is, theres wayyyy too many storys about hacked accounts and stolen bitcoins.
536  Other / Beginners & Help / How are we protected from XSS? on: August 16, 2011, 10:09:56 AM
Just a thought as I had done alot of research on this subject before. How easy would it be for a hacker to obtain your login details or even steal your cookie file from a bitcoin trade site and use it to steal your coins?

Every couple of months someone will find a vulnerability in a system. Bit coins only just starting to take off so should we see an increase of stolen passwords?
537  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to mine namecoins? Help!!! on: August 16, 2011, 02:59:39 AM
http://bitcointalk.org/?topic=3878.0

have a look at this, its a good GUI miner.

basically...

1.Download GUI-Miner
2.Register at one of the mining pools
3.Make sure you create a worker with the pool in your account
4.setup the gui-miner with the details of the worker
5.mine
5.profit!!
538  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trade places - Fees on: August 16, 2011, 02:55:07 AM
Ah that sounds alright. I plan to make a bot at some point, wasnt sure if I had to deal with the fee's seperatly or go by their bid prices.

Thanks!
