I checked the website nastyfans.org, but it's a bit unclear to me - is it some kind of cloudmining service or what? You can buy some seats (=shares?) then get dividends based on them or just how it works? Roll Eyes

Check out the thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=86854.0

It should be more clear there.  NastyFans definitely isn't cloudmining.  Seats never expire, don't have costs, and don't depend on mining alone for BTC.

Still don't get it Grin What is this service or security all about... Is there some kind of review or a summary about it, like what does it really mean to buy some seats here Undecided
522  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: April 14, 2015, 08:29:58 PM
This sucks big time. Hope the price recovers in the meantime for owners of Umisoo.

On the other hand, if these get turned off, would this affect diff?

There is no guarantee that they will be turned off, or that S2's are currently hashing for the UMISOO contract.  If Bitmain has gone in and upgraded all S2's to S5's already, then they can provide the hashrate for the UMISOO and S2 contracts for cheaper than what they are selling it for.  It also means they will probably continue to mine with them or resell them as S5's now.

I also always bet that they had cheaper than .098 kw/h electricity rates, but charged us that amount.  So they could still run them for themselves if it makes sense.

So you are saying Bitmain might claim to shut them off and would not actually do that?

Isn't that's what cex.io did? Or at least was suspected to do so with so easily switchable miners to ''mining mode'' from being shut down...
Well Bitmain is of course a lot more trustable, but still.. I guess it's the same thing from the point of the customers, maybe just that hashrate would be a little bit higher (bad for difficulty).
All in all the way btc price goes nowadays you just hold... Then buy at the bottom and then..maybe..after rebounding..sometime..you know Cheesy
523  Economy / Speculation / Re: They say it can't be the miners on: April 14, 2015, 08:22:27 PM
Maybe a few factors are that the need to sell is more mandatory and the need to buy is more voluntary, I mean these mining companies must sell a big part of mined btc to pay the bills and merchants most often exchanges btc for fiat as soon as they get it. While on the buyers its not quite like this - they can delay, can buy much later, can not buy at all if they don't like it so the pressure is not that hard like sell pressure...
524  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Fatty Faucet - The fattest faucet ever! on: April 14, 2015, 08:16:01 PM
0 balance... it is not healthy being too fat or you'll end like this faucet... So much for the fattest faucet Tongue
525  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: April 14, 2015, 08:03:52 PM
I bet there is a grain of truth hidden in a mound of bullshit here:

I bet GAW DID buy a lot of XPY at some point. Mainly during the "$20 floor attempt", specifically, XPY that Homero held, emptying the GAW coffers into anonymous BTC wallets. It is a new way to embezzle company funds.

I just wonder whether he counts those XPY as sold which he gave for hashpoints because those were also sold since people paid for them by buying those shitty ''1 satoshi or hashpoints'' mining hashlets
526  Economy / Securities / Re: Anything sustainable worth of investing? on: April 14, 2015, 07:58:30 PM
Agree but let us please stay on topic. Are there any other interesting and SUSTAINABLE BTC project you currently use?

NastyMining will be hitting our 3rd anniversary in a few weeks.  NastyFans is interesting and has become a very diversified project.  I don't believe it will be going away anytime soon.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=86854.0

I do see a bit decreasing trend when looking at your reports. How do you expect this to develop in the future.
Regarding transparency I give you A+. Very few projects are so open and informative.

I can't control the market price, but our product and service offerings continue to develop and grow.

I checked the website nastyfans.org, but it's a bit unclear to me - is it some kind of cloudmining service or what? You can buy some seats (=shares?) then get dividends based on them or just how it works? Roll Eyes
527  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to invest in btc? on: April 14, 2015, 07:44:53 PM
I know this is your standard noob question but being new to bitcoin/cryptocurrency i thought it would be worth asking. With the price down to ~$200 is now the time to be buying them? Ive read some of the horror stories of people losing 30k etc and that's more than a lifetime of savings which if i had couldn't even comprehend losing. At the moment ive bought my first btc but am now worried of a potential crash.

I know you shouldnt risk what you cant afford to lose but you have to take some risks i suppose.

Im guessing this may be a question better asked to a crystal ball?

thanks and apologies if this gets asked everyday.

I think we'll go a little bit below 150$ before rebounding (it might take a few weeks or even a month though) and I'll buy at ~150$ Smiley
Well it's speculation thread isn't it Tongue

They always pay, but rarely on time, so don't worry. Anyway is that an amount to be worried about? Roll Eyes

The Grand Finale is happening Cheesy

I'm sure that the latest bitcoin 'crash' is hurting AM and FC.  If AM decides to liquidate and give some money to shareholders, it will be extremely small.  I highly doubt AM has anything worthwhile in their inventory anyway.

So bad that it hurts them Cry
Luckily it doesn't hurt us cause they stole our BTC and we have nothing to worry about price drop. It's even good that it's crashing - we can buy cheap and start again. This time let's choose more wisely...
531  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cloud Mining - Please help a newbie on: April 14, 2015, 07:05:28 AM
What about these people that lost in legit sites like amhash and gaw? Well, gaw is not very legit, but at least it is a registered company with public owners (going to jail soontm) and it is rated quite good in Puppet list having in mind how scammy they are.

Investing in GAW was warned by community especially their ponzi coin.

I don't blame AMHash completely assuming it wasn't a planned theft. Anyway, there is risk in everything and I didn't only tell about ponzi sites. I used "most" but I understand it can does have a second meaning.

From the mail communication that Rock Xie published later, it seems FriedCat's theft was indeed planned.

Of course it was planned, well, unless he decided to steal spontaneously which I kinda doubt a bit Grin
On a more serious note this whole scheme involving different companies etc looks complicated, maybe even complicated on purpose. And the offering price, fees and even compensation after liquidation (not AMHashLC, but that initial compensation of ending contract after it is unprofitable)was a bit too good at the start when you look back..
532  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: freebitco.in - is it even worth it? on: April 14, 2015, 06:53:02 AM
Focus on finding more lucrative ways to earn Bitcoin beyond faucets, time is money and faucets are a lot of time for little money.

Not that much of time if you keep some in separate tabs at work and spend a few seconds every hour for rolling, you know, just in case of 10000.
I know I'll hit it one day... Been rolling for a lot of times now everyday Tongue
533  Economy / Securities / Re: Anything sustainable worth of investing? on: April 14, 2015, 06:45:56 AM
More people, give me more. What about PoS coins. Any success with that?

Want some PoS coins? Take a look at Paycon Grin It looks promising, way better than Paycoin Cheesy
534  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: April 14, 2015, 06:40:36 AM
Yup.
The correct thing to do would be to liquidate the company, distribute the btc to the shareholders, amhash included. I really wonder, inside AM, did they all get paid off? The BoD? FC is known to some real people who reside in China. Vanishing and staying in hiding is difficult. You'd need to hand out some hush money if you want to walk down the street let alone work in the industry ever again.

Well if you steal a lot of money along the way it might be quite doable - at least we can see it done, can't we Roll Eyes Tongue
And since the reputation of Asicminer is so ruined that this company is done and out of business anyway, why would they give any money instead of keeping it to themselves. The only way to get our money I would think is in court and that's a big problem because it is in China. And because of AMHashLC...

Any news on how to get our balance back from amhash.com?
535  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I am speculating that Josh Garza of GAW will go to jail this year on: April 14, 2015, 06:35:07 AM
Homero is now trying to make things more complicated by blaming his friends/colleagues for stealing from him and forcing to sign some contracts.. he probably thinks by making this he will delay the investigation, but the bottom line is that hashlets was a ponzi and all this paycoin thing was a security the way they handled them and he will answer for this Wink
536  Economy / Speculation / Re: They say it can't be the miners on: April 13, 2015, 10:03:01 PM
Maybe because a lot of these ''farms shutting down'' are just ponzies collapsing without any hashrate at all. Look how many cloudmining companies ''stopped'' mining like cex.io, zencloud, amhash and others, not to mention all the smaller ''miners''.
537  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: April 13, 2015, 09:56:43 PM
I am being deadly serious here!  Coinfire I think badbitcoin Vik is your bunny killer.  This guy is totally obsessed and is mentally unhinged.  Point the FBI in his direction.  He is totally obsessed.  I am flabbergasted by that email exchange.

Looks like the dumbfuck cant accept the loss of his investment and went full retard. Vik, if your're reading this i wish your wife died and you left being homeless soon. I think you're a coward not go accept your own stupidity and end your life, so you will be a homeless for the rest of your pitiful life.

And go to jail! Don't forget that also. It's the most important thing for me in this show Tongue
538  Economy / Securities / Re: THE AMHASH INCIDENT IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER, IN SUMMARY... on: April 13, 2015, 09:53:02 PM
Is there anyone not taking that AmhashLC for some reason? Seems too risky not to take I guess...
539  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: cloudmining.website New puppy in cloud mining on: April 13, 2015, 09:44:33 PM
Yeah sure, Hashnest on the same category as cloudmining.website and cloudminr.io Wink Grin

So you guys decided to wait for next generation asics according to your website Smiley
What asics are you waiting for? Antminer S6? Or you hope BitFury will ship you some?
Any new roadmap for what and when to expect?
Or maybe you'll change your mind - have you considered launching your own PoS coin instead? Grin Just kidding Wink
