Oh thats what this is all about But Hashnest is also from China and the most reliable cloudmining with a good standing company. And all these other Chinese scammers can hardly formulate a sentence not to mention building a believable website. I think with the comment above yours, I don't think he meant ALL chinese are scammers, obviously. Hashnest/Bitmain are very reliable, however they could fold any day and shut up shop, this is just what happens. Highly unlikely imo, though. The same thing has been said before about AM before the whole FC went 'missing' thing. The same thing has been said before about AM, NOT. Yes, they were shilled for, but both companies (Asicminer and Rockminer) had major problems and were in bad shape. In fact FC went 'missing' at least partly because of that I would think.

I believe FC went missing 100% because of that. like some entitled spoilt brat, as soon as problems became a challenge he books it. the twerp. i wanted to believe maybe some unforeseeable problem came up, some "act of God" but the silence is what speaks loudest here. FC and AM could not handle the heat, so they fled the kitchen, let the house burn down. I really hope this follows them around. million bucks wont last forever, he'll need to work sometime in the future. He wont work in anything tech related if I find out about it.

FC was an engineer who got lucky. He had very little business skills from what I can tell. The skills needed to run a business for more than a year.

Yup. The correct thing to do would be to liquidate the company, distribute the btc to the shareholders, amhash included. I really wonder, inside AM, did they all get paid off? The BoD? FC is known to some real people who reside in China. Vanishing and staying in hiding is difficult. You'd need to hand out some hush money if you want to walk down the street let alone work in the industry ever again.

Well if you steal a lot of money along the way it might be quite doable - at least we can see it done, can't we And since the reputation of Asicminer is so ruined that this company is done and out of business anyway, why would they give any money instead of keeping it to themselves. The only way to get our money I would think is in court and that's a big problem because it is in China. And because of AMHashLC... Any news on how to get our balance back from amhash.com?

I'm sure that the latest bitcoin 'crash' is hurting AM and FC. If AM decides to liquidate and give some money to shareholders, it will be extremely small. I highly doubt AM has anything worthwhile in their inventory anyway.

So bad that it hurts them Luckily it doesn't hurt us cause they stole our BTC and we have nothing to worry about price drop. It's even good that it's crashing - we can buy cheap and start again. This time let's choose more wisely...

*sigh* I guess other than AMHash on the 20th my ASICMiner saga is over. Cashed out shares and got 2% of the BTC I had put in. (I'm not even going to look at the USD to buy the BTC.) I thought FC could pull Gen4 off but....
I still have 20 Gen 1 Blades and backplanes... for the museum I guess.
EDIT: Is anyone having problems with Havelock withdrawals ??
EDIT2: I guess it takes days now not minutes.

I dumped some AM1 a few days back, and the withdrawal took ~12 hours. I emailed, and the response (after the transaction completed) was that they are processing all withdrawals manually. Edit: Hello,
All withdrawals are being verified and processed manually. We are working on a new development that will make the bitcoin transfers much more secure but until then we recommend not to use your Havelock wallet for direct payments to a third party.

Their investors are losing money. If it is FC and /or AM it looks like it's "business as usual" for them! Do you think the pictures of the mine being built with the new miners, that those miners in it are AMhash/AM stolen miners? Please explain your math

FC was talking about getting cheap electricity in northern China and FC/AM had a 'good' relationship with the local government. Whatever that means.

or FC just sold a whole bunch of miners "off the back of the truck" and pocketed the money. Who is Zeus miner anyway? I don't recall hearing of them before. From the photos they provide they don't look like the 3rd biggest mine in China.

I got the same email response yesterday but it's now 16 hours, no more responses from them at all. I guess Havelock can be added to the now a scam list. My question is if the AMHashLC money will be paid into havelock where we won't be able to get it back out, or directly to an address we supply. EDIT: Just called Havelock and big surprise, no answer, no voice mail... just not there during business hours. (Another one bits the dust.)
EDIT1: Havelock has stated they process withdrawals twice a day, I have my BTC now. Thank you, Havelock...

Zeus is a scrypt ASIC manufacturer and probably the largest.

This is the first day in ages I have come home from work and clicked my watchlist, and NOT seen this thread updated.
I guess that means that all hope is out then? There is no chance of getting anything out of my several hundred (sob) direct shares I take it? I know shares are still being traded on Havelock, but I guess I can't get any shares transferred.
Oh well, it was a good run while it lasted. I'm sad to see FC go rogue like this and I feel bad for people who lost money on this. Stay safe guys!

Well, as poor as AM seems to be, they still came up with almost $300,000 to settle the AMHash fiasco.. (3000BTC Fully funded buyback), .. Didn't bitfountain have 3 primary investors? (Plus all of us suckers?)... Shares are probably still worth about a $1 or so each for a future buyout when they shut the doors. Keep your address active, you may eventually see a few dollars for those few hundred direct shares, even if they can't be transferred, you are not missing out on much.
