521  Economy / Economics / Re: Hamas Military Wing Crowdfunding Bitcoin on: February 12, 2019, 11:22:05 AM
This is a bad news, some of the people that not understand about bitcoin will accused bitcoin being used for terrorist activity and the government could become hesitate in adopting crypto, but one thing that cross my mind is bitcoin is not too anonymous, we still can trace back the sender, I think the news is a bit odd, the group supposed to be looking for some crypto that really anonymous rather than using bitcoin
522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Australia looks at Initial Coin Offerings positively on: February 12, 2019, 05:20:43 AM
The purpose of ICO creation supposed to be making the transaction become easier and more focus on one sectors, but now we already got too many coins with almost the same usage, this is the one that makes people underestimate the ICO, and we need to regulate ICO creation, it can help to prevent fraud ICO and overflowing coins, if everything can be control then ICO could give positive contribution for the crypto
523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF Available Eventually on: February 12, 2019, 02:03:22 AM
There is no timetable for the ETF approval. This SEC people are probably just playing around. For me, it is better to ignore them for now and just wait for the official announcement. If it does happen (ETF approval), it'll definitely move the market. I'm not just sure if it will trigger a bull run.

Yeah I dont want to get my hopes too high, there has been so many times, the sec rejected the etf and the commissioner only talk about there will be possibility that it will be accepted, it will be great for all of us if the proposal really being accepted, it could make people regain trust and bitcoin price could go up high again, but until there is an official announcement, I don't want to see any false hopes
524  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are traders born or made? on: February 11, 2019, 01:53:28 PM
A good traders are the one that keep on learning, keep on fixing the mistake, getting more knowledge and experience, and don't afraid to take risk so traders are made of, maybe some of them already got the talent since they were born, but without experience and practising it wont be complete
525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can an Escrow be a guarantee? on: February 11, 2019, 05:20:46 AM
Its better to check the project more details, an escrow can be a good indicator especially with a positive trust but we still need to see the team and developers, its one of the important thing to check in a project, so I think I wont join the project if the developers team refuse to show up
526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Union Bank of the Philippines Launching Cryptocurrency ATM on: February 11, 2019, 01:00:36 AM
This is a great news, its mean the mass adoption is getting closer, and this could make the other countries to follow the footstep, putting ATM usually is a small step, but this atm is put by the big bank institutions, in other words this country is ready to try crypto for adoption, so its another great progress for Bitcoin
527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Positivity is necessary in the cryptocurrency space on: February 10, 2019, 05:54:52 AM
Positivity is needed but we also need to be rational, we need to do our own research to see whether this project will work or not, we need implementation and adoption, we need the currency to have some potential so we can keep on holding the coin, positive thinking could make you believe that you can achieve something in the future but not every positive thinking will end up with all you predicted
528  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the most problem facing in the market? on: February 10, 2019, 01:20:59 AM
Before you start to invest yoy need to have enough information and knowledge about the products and the situation, many people become bankrupt because they don't set any loss limit, most of the time when people invest they just put the money in and expect a miracle, you need to keep on checking the price and the market condition, so when something seems not right then you can make decision immediately
529  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if the bull run refuses to come again? on: February 09, 2019, 11:13:03 AM
If the price could stabilise, and the adoption could spread out then I don't mind with the current price, bull run is for attracting more investors and the adoption, bull run will make the bitcoin future better, but the one that we need is the price stability and the investors that really invest because of the technology
530  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What % volume is just traders? on: February 09, 2019, 05:44:56 AM
Well it's still great to be number one in trading, its mean that a lot of people interested in trade the coin, in other perspective its mean that the coin got a big potential to become big in the future and if the developer see that the coin is active then I am sure there will be more development
531  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Elections lead to major changes in Crypto Currency ? on: February 09, 2019, 12:47:38 AM
I don't think so, usually an election wont have any big effect on crypto, the candidate may give promise to adopt crypto and try to get vote form the crypto users, but in the end we all know that adopting crypto is not about one person decision, it will need cooperation from all sectors, because the adoption will effect the country's economic
532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bullish trend has commence! on: February 08, 2019, 11:27:36 PM
It's great if this is true, we need the green market to increase the trust level, if we can make the trend to change then we can see bitcoin revive again, although etf effect can't be permanent but at least this will give confidence to the investors to put the funds into crypto, really hope this green is the start of bull run
533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kid should start earning bitcoin as young as kindlegarden on: February 08, 2019, 12:57:45 PM
I don't think its a children job to make money, we can educate them about money and business, but there should be no responsible or burden for them to make money, making them learning about the value of money is good, but not all of them want to become banker or establish a business, let them go to school and learn different lesson will be good for them to spot their talent, ask children to learn bitcoin at early age could be quite difficult because it can be complicated
534  Economy / Economics / Re: The harmful affect of a continuous downward movement of the Bitcoin price. on: February 08, 2019, 08:04:02 AM
Snip
I think downward movement in Bitcoin price is not that harmful because of the fact that we are in an advantage in both down and upward trend. Investors hoard Bitcoins during plummet and sell when it bounce back or make a new all time high. I am not that sure for merchants on what is their opinion regarding a continued movement of prices downward as I think it is so complicated for them.

I disagree, the temporary falling down price is not harmful and can be consider as the healthy correction, but if the price continously fall down then its mean people are not interesting in the coin anymore and in long term it can decrease the trust of investors, when more and more investors feel that way then the coin could lose its value and got stagnant growth, so for now its quite important for bitcoin to hit the bull run because the bear market already happen for a long time
535  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should we call it a trend or a wave? Or something else? on: February 08, 2019, 05:23:31 AM
I believe it can come back again, but it is going yo need a long of time, 2017 when bitcoin hit the peak, the hype was too high, so once bitcoin hit the major correction the price fall down really deep, for the one that doesn't really understand about bitcoin then they will say that bitcoin is dead and can't recover again, but for the early adopter we already see how great is the bitcoin growing from one year to another year
536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please let's halt the Madness of Everyday New Cryptocurrency Release on: February 08, 2019, 12:52:45 AM
Then am not sure you have been up to date about the condition of initial coin offering of late mate.
Due to the market collapse there have been reduced initial coin offering projects around.
And I don't think it should bother you that much if there are much ico project you can just ignore them

Ignoring might not be a good answer to this problem, overflow coin may seems like a simple trouble but in a long term we can have big problem, the first one is the crypto reputation, nowadays people already know that 90% of the ICO are scam, with this reputation the good ICO will have difficulty to find investors and survive, the second is the diversify investment, if we are not focus on the certain coin then one day the strong coin will have small transactions volume that can caused the price to stop growing, I agree with OP that we should regulate the ICO production
537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Progressing adoption on: February 07, 2019, 11:32:15 PM
Since vitcoin got huge correction there hasn't been a lot of news, there are few adoption news in US and othee countries but all in small scale, if the government hasn't agree to legalize crypto there won't be any adoption, and from the bitcoin itself the volatility is too high when the bitcoin popularity hit the peak in 2017, there are merchants that try to receive btc as payment, but because of the volatility they said it's not suitable to be used for daily transactions yet, the progress of the adoption in ongoing but it moves in a slow phase
538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are gambling altcoins undervalued? on: February 07, 2019, 01:40:36 PM
The reason its undervalue is because there are no other place to spend other than specific gambling site, and with a lot of coins with the same purpose then the alt coin will slowly losing its transaction volume due to the diversify, when the gambler see the coin that they won keep on decreasing they will find other coin to used, its better just to used bitcoin for now because it can be used in alot of place and the price is more stable than other crypto
539  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mike Novograz: Bitcoin growth still needs to wait a few months on: February 07, 2019, 07:26:59 AM
I dont follow this individual but he does make an impact whenever he talks in the cryptospace.
I am sure this tweet will carry some truth for those who do follow him for his predictions.
Ofcourse there are many things which are known to bring the price back up in a few months.
So this is sort of like what you would get by going to a fortune teller at a carnival.

He is quite known person in crypto, but with only bunch of people saying bitcoin is going to go up, it won't help the price to go up, we need a real investors that put the funds or big institutions that ready to accept bitcoin, we need more adoption and more funds, more people support bitcoin will be great but we need real action to trigger the bull and return the trust of the investors
540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Indian government is worried that cryptocurrencies may destabilise the rupee on: February 07, 2019, 04:43:01 AM
Its a common thing that the bankers are worried about crypto, with the balance usage crypto could increase the economic of a country by providing more job opportunity and new business income, but if its out of balance then it could be increasing the inflation rate, and decentralised technology does has it disadvantages, there will be bunch of people used it for bad things, but fiat is also used for the same thing, so its not crypto that need to be fixed but the person that used it and to prevent bigger problem the government could make regulation, but banning is not the answer because it's a useful technology
