Perhaps the constant "hey guys, I don't really hate monero, but I hate monero!" posts.

Perpetually unhappy is the person who is pissed off when someone else gets laid or scores a few baskets. Not even Michael Jordan or Rockefeller can shut out his competition.

Many of my friends own some Monero. The entire crypto ecosystem is rising, thus we all rise together.

As for the final score and the championship, that is not complete yet.

Sentiments about certain attitudes will make more sense and be more clarified by and if ever certain actions are completed— better than any hollow words could express.

I actually bought LTC…

Backsplaining is not equivalent to the public prediction that came true.

Quote from: sidhujag
…He called the forming of a top in 2015.75 but prices have flown way higher from that point…

Another person who has not read every blog and every paid subscription report, attributing predictions to MA that he never made.
The 2015.75 was an ECM turning point and was the exact day that Russia entered the Syrian conflict.
It is not the real estate cycle (global nor USA which are separate cycles).

How would you feel if some idiot that does not understand programming started making a lot of false accusations about your Syscoin.
Up your game man and stop be a disingenuous twit.

@r0ach and @OROBTC, both Ag & Pt are not money, will never be even a currency again, and they are highly volatile commodities.
As the global economy implodes, commodities are going to nosedrive into the abyss. In short, both of you are making a big mistake.
Buy more crypto and hang on tight.
A little gold as a diversification, but your huge gains will come from crypto (yet also highly volatile).
Commodities highly volatile but no where near the gains of crypto and crypto has 1000X growth potential while commodities are only going to shrink as the global industrial age economy does (we are moving into Knowledge Age and do not tell me little bits of silver in mobile phones will make up for it).

Little bird asks @r0ach to link to anything AnonyMint has written to justify his assertion that AnonyMint is pissed off if Monero rises or where AnonyMint predicted Monero would not rise at this time?
Perhaps @roach is referring to some yet unpublished/unfinished anonymity blog which makes no statement whatsoever about price objectives for the price of Monero
(and in fact those who were trying to trade based on that document were told to not do so because price is not short-term correlated to technical realities which are future looking (as competition will rise to enact that sledgehammer of the little bird’s insights).
We all know @r0ach is still butthurt for selling BTC at $600 and buying silver.
And for not buying LTC at 0.006 when AnonyMint told him to (which is still going to 0.05 btw and make sure you sell all forks of BTC and hold only the original).

EDIT:
Quote from: sidhujag
Im wondering about his rei forcast. He called a top in 2017.. we seen the rei top?

Definitely so in London, Switzerland, Vancouver, etc.. He has blogged about all those toppings over the past few months.

The theme has always been that Europe would top out a couple/few of years before the USA and we would have a stampede of capital into the dollar and dollar assets as the final topping in the USA (currently projecting roughly 2020 - 2022ish).
Right now there is a deadcat bounce in the Euro as the last gasp before the European collapse ensues in 2018.
The deadcat bounce is because of for example the election of Macron in France, the pooling of all the sovereign bonds into an asset backed by the core of Germany (which means when it explodes it takes down Germany also), and what he writes about as linked.

I was always more prophetic than him in predictions

Their answers are all vague, are they all bots?
Yes. I think, altcoins really have a future. There may be times that they are at dump but expect that it will eventually pump in no time.
You just have to be patient and wait for it. Don't sell during dump. Instead, buy a lot of potential coins at dump and sell it when it's pumping or you already have enough profit from it.

Thank you, my friend, for clearing things up.
525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: July 15, 2017, 11:03:19 AM
That is vague and also a contradiction.

Their answers are all vague, are they all bots?

Armstrong has hinted that it is all in the detail of the database and that the computation of possible patterns is unbounded and
thus his outcomes are probabilistic only w.r.t. to the relative level of complexity explored, i.e. generalized markets versus specialised.
So now we know why he can not model Bitcoin (no applicable database with sufficient detail):

There are so many great use-cases and projects being developed still finding their legs.
Like what?
lets hear it  Cool

That said, its safe to assume that a fraction of (current) projects will be around in +5 years.

There wont be a single one, because they are all useless.
529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: July 11, 2017, 05:08:49 PM
I think a few coins in the crypto market ought to have a future, as they are made with framework and advancement and positively have great vision and mission for future prospects and can rival different coins

Such as?  Roll Eyes

This thread is full of bots saying same thing over and over again Cheesy

Yes altcoins do have a future because most of them does have real projects which is a good example of the things that we need to look for a coin before buying that coin or making an investment. Altcoins always have a future but it depends on their performance if they will have a bright or dark future.

Having lost a great deal of money last month; i still belirvr some alternste blockchains will survivr. Actually, I believe there will be more than thousands.

I count more than 20 coins that have some sort of a future that I am very confident in. I also count about 20 that i am not sure, except they are not scams. Then i know of about 200 coins that are scams. Another 500+ i have no idea about... so, genrally speaking they are shit, correct. But not all.

 Cool

I am not a believer of crypto , but I think some of the altcoins will success in future. To me , I invest in them , then get return or get loss.

Nice usage, nice adoption... on exchanges for potential ROI   Roll Eyes
Bright future ahead! /s
530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: July 11, 2017, 02:10:53 AM
I think that can be said for many all of them,
but a few hold some purpose.

Except gambling and betting?
Or you mean some "games"?

All this is not enough to keep it "alive".

Oooh yeah banks use them  Roll Eyes moon soon

all i hear is - there are few currencies that are good.... few that are legit... few with real use...
well name them if you can... wtf...

tell me WHICH one is USED and FOR WHAT.

HINT: you can't, cuz they are useless.

you gamble with shitokens, it's not investing.
It's not even legit.
531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: July 11, 2017, 01:50:28 AM

these cryptocurrencies have become more like commodities or equities rather than currencies.
Investing in the remaining altcoins is like investing in silver, bronze, platinum, tesla, amazon, etc. That's where we are headed.

those "altcoins", "tokens", "shitcoins" or whatever are all useless and are nothing but schemes.

5 years from now(but I'd bet even sooner) all these shitokens(currently existing) will be gone for good (because they are useless).

534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DECENT Announcement - Decentralizing Content Distribution on: June 30, 2017, 09:14:19 PM
They changed the txt on their blog post
First there was stated create a new account, and now they say login with the credentials from the reclaim.
https://decent.ch/en/decent-go-is-live-now/
At this link they changed the txt after people already created a new account.

Ok thanks, so I'm not crazy after all =)
I remember I was surprised when I read instructions for creating new account with same credentials. I thought "this should be automated"
535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DECENT Announcement - Decentralizing Content Distribution on: June 30, 2017, 08:56:03 PM
So here is where the confusion begins for ICO participants. In step 1 they use the word create referring to DECENT GO and use it once more to state if you do not reclaim you won't be allowed to create the account. Please read carefully.

1. DECENT ICO Participants who HAVE NOT completed the ICO Reclaim yet:
Please go to https://icoreclaim.decentgo.com/ and complete the ICO Reclaim BEFORE creating an account in DECENT GO. If you skip this step, you won’t be allowed to create the account. Once the reclaim process is complete (ie. you have a Recovery Phrase), follow the instructions below.

In step 2 they use the wording login

2. DECENT ICO Participants who HAVE already RECLAIMED their accounts:
Go to the DECENT GO page: https://www.decentgo.com/ and login with the credentials created in DECENT ICO Reclaim Portal. You will find all the necessary information through our support portal: https://decent.ladesk.com/. Please note, it may take up to 7 working days from the date of your account creation to finalize the transfer of your DCT balance. This is due to manual double-checks in the verification protocol for each account. Verifications will be handled in the order in which the accounts are created.

It appears that you do need to create a new account on Decent GO. I say this because they specifically use the word create directed towards the DECENT GO website twice in the first step. The confusion then comes in step 2 they have already told us we need to create a DECENT GO account as an ICO participant highlighted in red above. They used the wrong verbage to communicate the correct process to gain access but later in step 2 once again used the word create. I believe in step 2 they need to replace "login" with create an account. Either way I will be waiting for confirmation from the team to avoid headaches.

This, and also - if you go to https://icoreclaim.decentgo.com and login...
Below balance is this message:

This ICO account is not created in blockchain. Once the DECENT Blockchain network is released, you will be asked to create your Blockchain account & Wallet with your current DCT Balance in DECENT GO application.

This relates to the OP of this thread.

Is the future of mobile computing small screens or docking on large screens?

The original comment was made here.

>Mark wrote:
Creative work on mobile devices is increasing rapidly.

This might be true, but I doubt that results are of same or higher quality.
Just try to create music, draw/paint something on small screen, vs large screen.

>We can not do maximally productive work of nearly any kind of creative arts on a mobile device. The screen is too small, the keyboard is too slow, and the pointing device is too imprecise.

I agree with this.

Personally I never wanted a tablet(almost useless to me), except for reading books, but decided to buy kindle instead.
Perhaps something like Superscreen could come in handy.
If one wants tablet for lets say gaming (or reading in my case - mobile is too small for much text), what they really want is just larger screen.

Docking seems practical, it might be the future.

Or you could have avoided an abused function (the quote feature) and typed out an explanation.
You know how fed up i am listening to lippy one-liners with huge massive quotes i have to scroll past ?

I know the guy, i have been dealing with him for years.

Meh, I merely quoted small part of your post.
Explanation is quite long, so no tl;dr for you today :/ sorry.
Your post is really huge so cba to quote every single line and then find a post where he explained things that you question etc.

C'mon, give it a shot (you can read his posts only anyway - contains quotes so I think you wont get lost).
It's an interesting thread (you should know, since you know him so well) Smiley

you noob ?

And it shouldn't be a rule system based on your arrogant attitude or IQ.

Take the multi posting rule..
Shelby thinks he's exempt from that rule because his comments are higher quality.
So he feels he is entitled to side step the rule he knows he's breaking.

Like what the fuck is the problem?
Say you are sorry and agree to stop violating those key rules mentioned and move on.
Why is this even an issue?

Shelby 90% of us would not even get a 2nd consideration from the boss.. But you did.
And turned your nose up at it.

You should read the whole thread.
(if you actually read it - your prior post wouldn't exist)

Reminder to all: this thread is meant for discussing about iamnotback's (and his alts') ban(s) and topics directly surrounding it (his actions, forum policy, rules, positive, neutral or negative opinions about said topics), NOT to speculate about LTC's price or anything else. To iamnotback: you're allowed to talk about your ban (and the aforementioned directly related topics) in Meta and that's it - discussing about topics unrelated to it (again, LTC price predictions) is considered ban evasion.

Food for thought: I think majority of people reading this thread is here to read what @iamnotback has to say, and not how you execute censorship.
