521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: EFL English Championship League 2023/2024 (coming soon) on: July 18, 2023, 04:05:44 AM
Historically when teams go down from Premier League into Championship they are split in two ways, two fights in the top and surely one make the comeback fast to Premier League, but always one strugled a lot and they are more close to relegation than from promotion, its really strange but its like the crisis doesnt end when they go down. An example of this its Sunderland going also into League one, or Wigan.

@darxiaomi I feel that Leicester will thrive in this league and I won’t be surprised if Southampton also rediscover their lost form thus I believe that these two team’s will fight for the top 2 spot’s. Furthermore if they fail to qualify for the premier league then their fan’s will be bitterly disappointed as both have quality player’s and now let’s hope that they put in their best performances once the league starts.
522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2023/2024 on: July 17, 2023, 07:29:43 AM
The new Premier League season will start on Friday 11th August 2023 when newly promoted Burnley host Manchester City. The subsequent first set of fixtures will be played on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

There should be exciting drama watching the relegation battle as well as the challenge to finish in the top four to ensure Champions League football next season.

Here are the 20 teams that form the English Premier League for the 2022/23 season

    Arsenal
    Aston Villa
    Bournemouth
    Brentford
    Brighton and Hove Albion
    Burnley
    Chelsea
    Crystal Palace
    Everton
    Fulham
    Liverpool
    Luton Town
    Manchester City
    Manchester United
    Newcastle United
    Nottingham Forest
    Sheffield United
    Tottenham Hotspur
    West Ham United
    Wolverhampton Wanderers

The poll has been reset therefore select which team you think will be crowned champions for the 2023/24 season and let us know why you think they will do it.

@JollyGood I’m eagerly waiting for it to resume because life gets boring without football and I can’t wait to see a new Manchester United provided they get a new keeper and a striker. Furthermore for the the title City and Arsenal are the contenders and Newcastle, Liverpool, and Manchester United should give them a healthy competition at least that’s what I feel.

Rumors:

Carlo Saninz will leave Ferrari in 2025 and his spot will be taken by Lando Norris.

According to the rumor Norris already signed a deal with Ferrari.

Sainz will go to Audi.

Really good move made by Ferrari if this its true. Lando Norris its one of the better drivers on the entire F1, he never had the car he deserve, but he really have hands and also a good mentality.

The main question its, for first driver or alongside Charles Leclerc? I think Leclerc its gonna say goodbye to Ferrari.

Leclerc is clearly not happy with Ferrari team right now if you have been careful to listen to his team radios where he continuously complains for almost everything regarding Ferrari, team strategies and many other things so I don't see him being at Ferrari for much longer.

I think the ideal team for him should be Mercedes and Hamilton by 2025 should be not out of F1 but should go and help some other team like Alonso is doing and Schumacher did at the age of 40 as in 2025 Hamilton will be 40.I know that Totto Wolff said that they owe Hamilton the 8th title and how skillful he is but if they are not able to bring a winning car to him I don't see much interest from Hamilton either staying here.

@swogerino it would have been nice to have Leclerc and Hamilton at Ferrari but now Hamilton is close to agreeing a new deal with Mercedes hence Leclerc may have to wait longer if he wishes to replace Hamilton at Mercedes. Also Mercedes will have to further improve their car before they can tempt Leclerc to join them thus I feel that these are pure speculations about him quitting Ferrari for Mercedes.

I will be a very happy man once Harry Kane takes a jet off to Germany to join Bayern Munich this summer; so far it has been positive and Kane has agreed terms with the Bayern Munich transfer offer; report says that Bayern wait for Tottenham Hotspur and Levy to take the offer and the deal can be finalized. At 30 years; Harry Kane also deserves some trophy happiness; hope he gets them

@ampere it’s either Bayern or PSG for Kane as both are waiting for him and Spurs should honour his loyalty by selling him because if he had joined City last year then he would have won the premier league and if he retires without winning a single trophy then it’ll be the saddest thing to happen in modern day football. Furthermore I hope that he choses Bayern as Ligue 1 is very easy and with Bayern he’ll shine and win more honours for himself.
525  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Alfa Romeo F1 Team on: July 16, 2023, 10:42:34 AM
My monthly was reduced as well from $14 to $5.3 (platinum 1) but I expected it to be low because I haven't been wagering for several weeks and my total wager from last month is around $100~ from using the previous monthly.

At this point, the post monthly is like the new monthly in terms of the amount we're getting.  Tongue
Totally the same with my situation Platinum 1. Not playing for the whole month except if they give us the weekly bonus which is 2$ every week or sometimes 0.1 cent, don't know how it works, happens. They give us default 5$ for plat 1 on monthly bonus even if we're not wagering. I think its time to leave stake. Lmao.
Expecting a lot of money even when you do not gamble is a weird thing. So by that logic you have gambled a bit, and you should be paid for the next 30 years? Without gambling at all? I mean if you do not wager for a whole month then that month you are not going to end up getting any money, isn't that a normal thing? Shouldn't we consider that as the thing that should happen anyway?

I personally believe that you should be getting nothing, let alone 5 dollars because if you have zero wagering that means you haven't done any help to anyone. This is a business, I know it's a casino but it's also a business, they need to make money from it, and there are tens of thousands of people here, so it's not going to be easy for them to keep paying to people who used to gamble.

@tygeade I feel that Stake has pampered their user’s a lot and if they leave due to these issues then Stake should be happy because then only legit gamblers who actually gamble will be staying back. Furthermore bonuses are at completely discretion of Stake hence once can’t demand them to give it rather one should be thankful that they’re yet giving it.
526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: July 16, 2023, 05:22:27 AM
Looking at the training pics of Zuck, I can’t look further than him now. My guy is looking good, we have to remember though, Elon is one of if not the smartest dude alive. Surely he will have a trick or two up his sleeve. The fight will be entertaining though, that’s for sure. I just hope it does happen.
Mark is making us feel like the match between him and Elon Musk is real and we should anticipate it as soonest while it not so. Having him work on himself makes me like him more for him to take up training to build his physique at this time when the attention of everyone is on him to see how prepared he is to fight Elon Musk.

With how Mark has built on his physical appearance to fight Elon Musk, Elon Musk won't have an easy match to start with, no matter how trick moves he comes up with to defeat Mark

@JoyMarsha Elon may pull a GOT trick and nominate a warrior on his behalf because if he gets into that ring with Mark he ain’t stepping out whole and thus I hope that they don’t ever get into a ring. Furthermore I got to give it to these two for hyping it up and in the end they could do what Vince and Trump did few year’s back nominate a wrestler and place a condition eg Vince had to get his hair shaved cause he lost.

And +2k WoF spins waiting for some better days.
I see you stick to the same pattern by keeping WoF continuously for a long term, which is not so fun when the based reward goes down because the price of BTC is going up, but good luck with the +2K from the wheel of fortune, it will really be great if more than 70% of the WoF results later are satoshi and also Reward Points and can get the biggest based reward several times in form of satoshi and RP as well as the Golden ticket so that it opens up opportunities to be involved in the lambo contest.
It's a personal preference and I understand what they are doing and why they are doing as well so I am not going to say that's a wrong thing, as long as they have more and more bitcoins as a return, I would say that's a good thing, plus having a one big rip-off as a result would definitely be a good thing, I wouldn't argue against that.

However, looking at it, I have the exactly opposite and whenever I have any WOF at all I end up doing it, never had more than 200 in my life, all I have is always gone right as soon as I have the time to do it and usually that's daily. I am not saying that's the right way to do it neither, I wouldn't presume that I do better than others, I am just saying what I personally prefer and show how people may prefer different things.

@FanEagle I see nothing wrong in your method and till you’re happy with your results you can definitely stick to this method but in the long run try and experiment too as I usually get thrills whenever I try something new in gambling. Also these days I have been pretty inactive but when I was active I was locking my earned Satoshis for Fun tokens because I didn’t want to spend them and I yet believed that Fun tokens will give higher returns in the long run.

Yesterday we had WTA semi-finals at Wimbledon and Jabeur put out a crazy comeback to win the game and I think she deserves to win it this year.

Today , it's time for the big boys to enter the court and put up a show and first ATP semi-final is between Sinner and Djokovic and this is also a rematch from last year Wimbledon where Sinner had a clear 2-0 after two sets but was unable to close the game and gave Djokovic a chance to comeback and eventually win the game. Now , I don't see Djokovic to win this game because honestly , I'm kinda tired to see him in almost every final in tennis or to face Alcaraz in every final because what is the point of the rest of competition then ? I want Sinner to win and shock the world because the guy has all the necessary skill assets to beat Djokovic.  Cool

Second semi-final ..I think we can say who will win already because in my books , no one and nothing can stop Alcaraz from winning this game.

Odds can be found here - https://sportsbet.io/sports/tennis/atp/wimbledon-men-singles/matches  Cool

@boltz Djokovic comfortably won this fixture and has progressed to the finals and I’ll be very happy for him if he can now go on to win this tournament. Furthermore he has now reached a record 35 grand slam singles finals which is a huge achievement in my personal opinion and thus I’m hoping that he can put in a solid performance once more and then go on to lift the trophy.
529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 14, 2023, 01:00:01 PM
I believe it can be a little more successful in Serie A because it is not as difficult as the Premier league. Serie A is of course a difficult league, but Milan is one of the important teams in this league and Pulisic, who can play in many positions, can achieve great success in this team.
Yeah Serie A isn't difficult as the Premier League because if we take a look with the Champions League when the final matches were always dominated with Premier League's team. But what I like in Serie A is the unpredictable performance of the team, sometime AC Milan become a winner, but sometime they're not able to reach top 3 etc. It's not like Premier League when there's a team is very tough, almost no team can beat them, but it's not like Bundesliga where Bayern Munich looks impossible to not win.
So true. But last season I think the European football competition was really surprised by the clubs from Serie A who made it to the finals in several competitions. For example, Roma, who made it to the final level in the Europa League, Inter Milan, who also made it to the final level in the UCL. and then Fiorentina, which I didn't expect to reach the final stage in the Europa Conference League. But unfortunately the three of them failed to win the Finals and only managed to get second place. but I think the achievement is quite surprising. because we know that in terms of the quality of the players from Serie A there are not too many players who have high prices. Clubs in Serie A shop for players which is quite cheap when compared to the shopping prices of Premier League clubs. but the clubs from Serie A can always make good use of the players they bring in. and even the price of players bought cheaply can be expensive in the next season.

@Uruhara Pulisic is a very talented player and he was not used well at Chelsea however at Milan we can hope that he’ll be given more opportunities to perform and thus I feel that he’ll definitely improve the team. Furthermore last year the Italian team’s improved way beyond expectations and this year I believe that they’ll continue to push the other league team’s even further because they’ll be hurting from their loss that they suffered last season.
530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 14, 2023, 09:44:53 AM
In the end, they still need a great scorer, not just a striker, but someone who looks to score at all times, Kane could be the best option available right now, but if they can't, they shouldn't lose too much time trying to get him and try to find someone else that could work for them in the end.
but it seems that Tuchel is really serious about signing Kane. Tottenham also did not want to lose him actually. as there are rumors Tottenham is again offering a better salary to Kane. but it's possible that it wasn't what Kane was expecting. he could have moved to Munich as long as Munich had enough money to make up for it.
Tuchel looks like he will completely overhaul his team for this season. several players are reportedly ready to be released including Mane. and maybe this is also one of Munich's efforts to bring in Kane.
Here Thomas Tuchel's insist working, and Bayern Munich are increasing their bid for the Harry Kane as we have reports last bid from them is now €90 million which is surely near their target of Levy Tottenham chairman which also understand this is last chance for him to have amount like this hopefully we will have positive end of this all negotiation between all parties because Harry Kane is also now wants to go Bavarian's for this desire to win trophies and have his name as one of the greatest player of this era.

As things are going most chances we will have this deal complete at this price and if still things not gone in favor of the Bavarian's then surely they will also go for the desired amount of the Levy which is €100 million because they are also feeling with the arrival of Harry Kane things can go much better than last season and Sadio Mané exit could be also settled after this deal.

@wiss19 money is not an issue for Kane but if he doesn’t leave Tottenham now then there’s a high probability that he may never win any trophy and for a player of his caliber it’ll be really shameful if he retires without winning anything in the long run. Furthermore Bayern also needs him as the team can be built around him and he can guarantee them lots of goals and he can further increase their chances of dominating the Bundesliga hence they should sign him immediately.

Have anyone watch the friendly match between Arsenal vs Nurnberg yesterday?

Kai Havertz was playing in left winger position, it looks like he will not replace Odegaard position in attacking midfielder. If Arteta really want Havertz to play in left winger position, he would become a substitute player since Martinelli is solid in that position, same like Bukayo Saka who's solid in right winger position.
Actually for now, one match to confirm things like positions for Havertz and some other players I think is impossible, because it is likely that for the next match Arteta will try a new placement for Havertz and this is a start.
He's still playing quite well with some of the real money players still needing time to play.
Odegaard was the only one who didn't play and I still haven't found Rice's name for Arsenal on the pitch or on the bench this time.

The 1-1 result was good enough for their first game in a friendly with Arteta's schemes and attempts.

@Jody.Drummer totally agree with you because during preseason managers tend to try out new positions and strategies but during the season they don’t use them unless they want to drastically try something new to stun an opponent. @Plaguedeath for the fee they have brought him he’s definitely not going to be a substitute player and he’ll definitely be in the starting 11 when the season starts.
532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 13, 2023, 01:15:37 PM
Watching PSG and Mbappe play with such high stakes is fascinating. Mbappe, as you correctly pointed out, has his sights set on the pinnacle of the Champions League. But what I really want to know is if PSG is making serious preparations to give up its king. The club has spent a total of 155.50 million euros on new players in the past few months, suggesting that they are preparing for a period of transition. Does the team's recent move to add players like Ugarte, and Kang-in Lee signal an imminent exit for Mbappe? Then there's Neymar, whose price tag is falling.

I think by now it is pretty obvious to anyone, that Mbappe does not want to play for Paris Saint Germain anymore. Therefore i would hope that the official of PSG are already planning for the time after Mbappe. When he is gone i think it is safe to say that the time of the huge names at PSG is over. Only Neymar is left then and it is not even sure yet if he will maybe also leave the club.
I also think that in retrospective the whole PSG strategy so far was a pretty big fail. They have spent ridiculously high amounts of money to buy the biggest names in the sports, no matter if it is good for the chemistry in the team or not. The most recent transfers make more sense in my opinion. Good players without huge names.

@Jackl87 he used the same strategy Ronaldo used when he wanted to leave Manchester United i.e. give an explosive interview and destabilise the squad thus his exit is inevitable. Furthermore if PSG can get at least 100 million for him then it’ll be a good business and while I’m aware that his value is almost double of what I have said but given the circumstances it’s a good deal for PSG or they’ll risk losing him for free.
533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: July 13, 2023, 09:08:55 AM
Luis Enrique's track record as an experienced coach is certainly extraordinary and I personally respect him a lot. When training Barcelona it was 8 years ago and of course now the era has changed, every football development cannot be predicted easily, especially for the champions league, of course every season the winner is always different. Therefore I will be quite happy if Luis Enrique helps PSG win the Ligue 1 title first before targeting titles in other competitions. However, if Luis Enrique manages to turn this team into one to be feared from next season, I think they have a chance to win the champions league even though the possibility is very slim.

Especially due to his big success in the Champions League with Barcelona in the past, I hope he can do the same with PSG as well. He will have a quite strong squad in his hands and have a world star player like Mbappe as well. Mbappe could still leave the team this summer though but let's say he didn't leave for now.

Back then Enrique worked with Messi and now he is lucky to work with another world star. Mbappe can continue to do this best with a high level contribution to bring success to the team. Enrique should just give him some freedom in his game. Because Mbappe is himself when he becomes more creative than being too disciplined to play the same game with the others.

@Velvet78 PSG won’t win the champions league unless they have a united squad and due to Mbappe’s recent statements the squad is already divided hence they need to sell him and unite the player’s. Furthermore Enrique will need at least two - three transfer windows to build a squad that can implement his plans and thus I hope that PSG owner’s give him time otherwise the head coach position for PSG will open up very soon.
534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 13, 2023, 03:40:11 AM
to quote myself, Eubanks had good match, and provided some gains
but, I did not cash-out when possible after third set on a win, and should do that, but at that moment expected to see Eubanks winning this one, and he could do that in fourth set, fifth was just a formality

will be interesting to see Alcaraz against Medvedev, but I think that Medvedev is without chances to take even set there, should be straight sets for Alcaraz, will check odds and probably have it like that

Good performance from Alcaraz. Both waited for mistakes from the opponent and Alcaraz was more consistent overall in terms of performance than Rune

Eubanks as expected from me, did not disappoint me. The fact that he managed to play 5 sets in the quarter-finals shows that we have to expect more from him in the future. It seems he have lost concentration in set 5.
At Thursday the mens have a day off and at Friday the semi-finals will be played.

It was refreshing to see how the guy called Eubanks played against Medvedev. I have never heard of him before and it seems that he was about to give up professional tennis. The telegraph and some other news outlets have written that he was on his way to a different career path as a commentator. I love life stories like that. A player decides to end the career and then to his own surprise almost beats Medvedev in a Wimbledon quarter-final.

Alcaraz was strong and he is looking good and confident. I don't own a crystal ball but I think that both Djokovic and Alcaraz are too stable and focused to fail in the semi-finals.
I have followed Eubanks for a long time now and he is a good player that serves well and has a good forehand but his behand is bad and that causes problems for him. But he has improved so much lately and this is one of the biggest achievements of his life. But cant wait to watch the semifinals,it will be awesome.
Eubanks gave tough fight winning two sets out of the first four sets. The final set could've been very close, but things were different and Medvedev won it without difficulty as the set ended 6-1. As said the progress from Eubanks is really big and he needs to keep it up to stand high.

The match between the two young players Alcaraz and Rune were more enjoyable as we were able to watch the energetic performance from both sides. Rune played well, but he couldn't stay on the tournament anymore. The tricky shots and cool movements were nice to watch.

@Vaskiy Eubanks can take lots of positives from this match as he put in a solid performance and even though he missed out on a victory I’m sure that all tennis fan’s will appreciate his performance. Furthermore I’m quite excited for Alcaraz vs Medvedev match as these two have a 7 year age difference and thus I wonder if Medvedev experience will come handy but at the same time I’ll say that we can’t underestimate Alcaraz too hence it’s very risky to wager big amounts on this match.
535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 12, 2023, 01:18:20 PM
He's the number 2 off-spinner in the world after Ashwin, no one else comes near to him IMO.

Usually, cricket revolves around Batters and the rest of the glory goes to the fast bowlers. For some weird reason, spin hardly earned any brownie points in the cricketing world. You will find a fan club for mediocre batters everywhere and even fast bowlers have their dedicated fans but there is no such thing for spinners unless you are playing T-20 cricket (like Rashid Khan). So i'd say Lyon is doing a fair job.

He maybe doing a fair job and I agree with that. But if you are going to treat him like a legend, then I would disagree. Warne and Muttiah Muralitharan were legends, but Lyon doesn't come anyway near them. He has taken a total of 496 wickets in test cricket, but that came with an average of more than 30. If he was a pacer, then with such an average he wouldn't have got selected for the national team. For comparison, Pat Cummins have a bowling average of 22.07, while for Mitchell Starc it is 27.47.
Everything you just mentioned is completely true but at the same time, in the current generation please mention 3 top test off-spinner. Ashwin and Lyon are ranked 1st and 2nd respectively, and plz name the 3rd off spinner, IMO there is no 3rd guy.

Warne and Murli both belong to the previous generation so a comparison isn't fair imo.

@JSRAW I’ll agree with you and while Lyon often doesn’t get the appreciation he truly deserves but I feel that in this case he deserves it, and to be honest at times I have criticised him but then out of the blues he gets those important wickets and helps Australia win matches. @Sithara007 his legacy is secured otherwise he wouldn’t be in the team for so long and that too a team that is known to depend on their fast bowler's and that is also enough reason for him to be given the legendary status.

Major League Cricket (MLC) is about to get started in the United States, in around 24 hours from now. After several failed attempts to start a high-profile cricket league within the United States, finally the organizers managed to come up with a competition with some of the top players around the world. IPL franchises are owners of some of the teams. Out of a total of 6 teams, three (Los Angeles Knight Riders, MI New York and Texas Super Kings) are owned by IPL franchises. But I am a bit skeptical whether all this investment will result in an increase in popularity of cricket within the United States.

@Sithara007 if they have spend heavily on advertising their league then yea they can get solid ROI because without proper marketing even if they would have hosted IPL then that too would have failed. Furthermore US has lots of scope for cricket to flourish but it needs proper marketing and only then will they see the US citizens come out in huge number’s even on a weekday.

The summary is that Afghanistan without many of their top players were able to defeat Bangladesh, and that too paying away from home. Now they have the two match T20I series. Shoriful Islam played a large part in the win by Bangladesh on 11th July, but the batting collapse from Afghanistan was unexpected. For Afghanistan, their bowling was always a notch higher than their batting capability. And this is one of the reasons why they perform so poorly in test matches. Ibrahim Zadran and Rahmanullah Gurbaz are talented players, but they are too volatile.
I don't know which top players of their team are not played in this series. Rashid, Nabi, and Mujeeb are playing in this series, and I count them as the top players in Afghanistan. I knew Shahzad, who plays as an opener for Afghanistan. I don't know where he is and why he is not playing. Except for him, I don't remember other missing top players from Afghanistan.

Their bowling unit is strong enough to fight against a top-class team. Their batting line is not bad as well. They can beat anything on their good day. They have some experienced batters like Nabi and Rashid who playing for Afghanistan for a long time now.

Rashid Khan and Naveen-ul-Haq didn't played the third match, which they lost to Bangladesh. And at this point, Rashid is the dominant player in Afghanistan team (still agreed that he played the first two ODIs and contributed a lot). And Bangladesh was playing with a full-strength squad. Anyway, this is humiliating for Bangladesh. They have been defeated by a team that achieved full member status. And who knows? Maybe ICC is also taking note. Bangladesh has continuously underperformed for the last two decades.

@Sithara007 I sincerely doubt that ICC will make any changes that favour Afghanistan or dramatically reduce benefits for Bangladesh even post this defeat nothing really will change. Furthermore this loss might be a nice wake-up call for Bangladesh and hopefully they can start working on their plans better because they need to improve quickly or they’ll continue losing.
538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: July 12, 2023, 03:35:45 AM
I don't think there will be a real fight between Mark and Elon, but if I had to place a bet, I would go for Mark just because looks like he is in better shape, but I feel like Elon's punch is stronger.

The real fight between these guys is with their social networks, the fact that Musk started the new social network called Threads is proof that the fight is on. I don't really think people will jump from Twitter to threads, the fact that all the social networks are under the control of the same person isn't good for humanity.

Agreed. Right now we are sitting back and enjoying the Threads vs Twitter battle as it unfolds before our own eyes. My first impression is that it Threads can't replace Twitter. The biggest positive for Twitter is anonymity and fair censorship rules. These factors are not applicable to Threads. And adding micro-blogging capabilities to Instagram profiles may not work well. The target demographic is much different. The mainstream media will try to over-hype Threads, since they are unhappy with Twitter kicking out the far-left loonies who managed it earlier.

@seoincorporation the fight was just a hype to draw more viewership to their respective platforms and if they do end up in that steel cage then they’ll make more money then any fight ever could even though it’ll be scripted  Grin. @Sithara007 I wonder if real people are using it or it’s just bots because Threads has so many privacy issues and no sane person should be using it and thus I’m personally not quitting Twitter for Threads.

Okay, you make a good argument; it is about striking a balance between the many interests, right? Furthermore, the players' point of view must be taken into account. But let's be rationally skeptical for a second. The majority of players' pay comes from their clubs, yet there is no greater honor than playing for your country in the FIFA World Cup. No self-respecting athlete would risk that recognition for the sake of a few extra club games. This brings up an intriguing debate. The FIFA Confederations Cup and other regional tournaments may be perceived as watering down the prestige of the World Cup and the European Championship. However, they also help find and develop promising new talent. Spreading out these competitions over a longer period of time might help keep the World Cup's level of interest and enthusiasm high.

Well.. I don't want to change the current setup. Right now, the world cup is being played every 4 years, and most of the regional competitions are being played with shorter intervals. This should continue IMO. I am a big supporter of the expansion of the FIFA World Cup to 48 countries, and I am of the opinion that it will further popularize football. But any attempt to reduce the interval between two events to two years need to be opposed. In this case, I agree with the clubs. Playing world cup every two years may prove counterproductive.

Changing the rules something will not work, for example, if you have the world cup every two or three years it will definitely decrease the quality of the world cup and we all know it, also it will change the FIFA calendar and makes everything hard even for the leagues, but having more teams in the world cup is another story however I this even this will decrease the quality of the world cup because of having more weak countries in the world cup they should not in this tournament normally.

@Leviathan.007 I too oppose the World Cup being played every two years because it’ll ruin it’s vibe and take away it’s charm which comes after the long wait. Furthermore if the duration is short many athletes may suffer burnout due to so many games being played in such a short duration and I won’t be surprised if some of them decide to skip it all together because the World Cup would have clearly lost it’s charm.

I am Man united fan and i can tell you Man U is not yet ready for the champions league, I will advocate for Asernal more than Man United, look at how poor they are doing in the transfer window, a serious club will by now get their main targets but till now, they have not, no squad depth, until they offload some dead wood players like chelsea is doing and sign new players until then, they are not serious yet
I also think that Manchester United still have to buy a few more players to make themselves able to compete strongly in the Champions League next season, because without some great players Manchester United will potentially have difficulties in the Champions League next season. So I think Manchester United should be able to get one of the great strikers and reliable defenders in order to make themselves stronger than last season in all the competitions they participate in.

You are accurate because, based on what I've heard about Manchester United's alleged plans to sell off its players, the club needs to get a new player who will enhance the team's performance the next year. According to what I've heard, Manchester United is parting ways with Fred and a few other famous players in order to raise money to bring in a new player. However, in my opinion, what they are doing is right since it indicates that they have a sound plan for moving forward.

The only advice I can provide Manchester United is to make sure they sign new players prior to the start of the league season. If they don't, it won't be advantageous for them, particularly if they perform well in the Champions League the following year.

@HajiBagi I’m also a Manchester United and while I’m not happy that the club is yet to be sold but that doesn’t mean that they’re not progressing because they already have purchased Mount, and released De Gea and now they’re very close to getting a top class keeper. Furthermore if Ten Hag can sell few more player’s especially McFred, Maguire then the club can further buy quality player’s however even with the current squad the club should do well at least in the initial rounds of the champions league.
