521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CALL OF DUTY Launches Game with Virtual Currency on: March 12, 2020, 06:13:47 AM
It is not clear if the virtual currency that is going to be use in the game is really a cryptocurrency but since the article is a news in bitcoinist.com that is a cryptocurrency news websites I assume that it might be a cryptocurrency.

Yes and based from the article, there is not sure yet whether the virtual currency will be on chain connected to a possible cryptocurrency. Lots of gaming companies expresses their interest on blockchain but still to early to sync in that COD will be launching a blockchain supported currency that can be used on their own game. But this will be a great advance if ever they will, since COD is one of the famous game and lots of crypto enthusiast would be happy to know about it when that time comes.
522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Protect your cryptocurrency, only means, protect your account. on: March 12, 2020, 05:35:26 AM
Bonus:
5. Restrict to save your passwords even on your PC
6. Do not set same passwords for every account

I think these can be covered already by the number 1 point of OP since using strong password means dont set similar passwords if you have many accounts.

There a recent hack on the 2FA security so I guess its not a 100% secure at all so make sure to change regularly your password, keep everything secured on your vault box and spread many back-ups of your wallet.
This is very scary if even 2FA can be by pass already. In my accounts this is the most strong protection already but knowing this could make me nervous. Was the recent hack even proven to be legit and effective? Or maybe there is a mistake also by the victim lead to the hacked event.
523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ✅ [1X2 COIN] ✅ 3-IN-1 CASINO INVESTMENT PACKAGE on: March 12, 2020, 05:06:46 AM
The offer is quite interesting. But I see that your coin traded on not so popular exchanges. Do you have any plans to add it to more volume type exchange such as Binance, Bithumb, Kraken or Kucoin?

By the way, do you have a web wallet version for the coins? Also the dividend earning of 5% is based on the based investment per package or the yield profits the platform?
524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: South Korea Parliament Legalizes Crypto on: March 12, 2020, 04:53:24 AM
This country is known for its adoption and very quick in terms of innovation. Its not shocking that the home of Samsung Company will be in line to the progress and support blockchain technology.

I do hope that South Korea make a regulation and provision that will be shown the world how cryptocurrency can be regulated in a right way. Many projects under their territory has increased tremendously which is why I believe that fundamentals are still working aside from the technical analysis alone. This news will influence more country to step up too and if thats happened more investors will likely come back again.
525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Quiet Bounty Time on: March 12, 2020, 04:44:51 AM
Sometimes, I also check the bounty section but the new projects listed there don't worth the time to promote. Instead of promoting the low-paying project, I prefer to do something else in my spare time, the promised bounty reward doesn't even have the fixed value after the end of bounty campaign.
Agreed. I always joined campaign in that section, some I got lucky and some are purely wasted time. The best one is to join campaign that has leverage profit such as btc paid. We know that it decrease in value but one thing is for sure, it will always recover no matter what.

They should bring their eyes out from deep underground to the reality that bounty hunting days are long gone.
Maybe they cant just move on with the previous christmas season of airdrop and bounty. I hate to admit but bounty isnt the same anymore and hence use our free time to do more beneficial to our self development like trading and reading stuff that increases our knowledge.
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ChainX Exchange & Emjac IEO Scheme Leaked on: March 12, 2020, 04:24:35 AM
Looks like Emjac are in trouble now after being exposed.

Not just in trouble but surely their project would lose investors. Scheme like this isnt common, even in the past there are related incident where projects are collaborating with exchanges to boost their sales. Though its clearly a fake one. Even now we cant trust most IEOs that conducted on these markets, Im sure there are shady things occuring on their process plus we cant detect it especially everything is done under the table, and inside the centralized exchange. That's why centralized markets conducting IEO still vague when it comes to transparency. Even on major one, we cant be sure of those plugged information if its real or just a fake one. ChainX must be investigated more and must be punish for this.
527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The current world market situation. on: March 09, 2020, 10:33:44 AM
If you don't understand the effect of Corona on the global economy ! In the last 8 -12hrs , the US Crude oil is down by 31% , UK oil by 32%,  BTC by 12% and more  and other trading pair are falling deep. Crude oil seems dead now because they can't export it. Traders and investors needs to be careful now. This might be an unprecedented global recession. Now is not the time for long term Investment in real estate because when it goes bad, all those investment will be sold for pennies. So please hold your cash and follow the news.
There could be a larger reasons behind the crazy downfall of every asset, stock and even cryptocurrency. I dont find it convincing that the major reaeson is that epidemic virus. Yes it might have an effect but I am sure that this is more than just that.

For me this the time to convert it all to fiat if things getting worste your money is secured in your hand.

This is gonma be a tough call, as you can see a major loss isnt easy to spare from what is happening now. What if you bought your bitcoin at price like 9k to 10k, now we are down by huge would you sacrifice the loss? I think panic selling wouldnt help any market solve this crash.
528  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here is why the market is still bearish (nothing to do with the Corona virus) on: March 09, 2020, 10:23:20 AM
Hopefully you will wake up when Bitcoin goes below 6.4k, which will happen this year. Below 6.4k means the next major support is around 3.Xk.

Support always changes. I am not going to have any majoe panic selling mode just because some are doing it. Like other's said. The two point line is very subjective anyone can put up some words on it. I do hope you are nor creating something bearish. Many are still believe that the market can somehow tie up the price before halving.

Below 6.4k isnt impossible but also the reverse isnt too. As we already reached 10.5k early this year.
529  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we going to see another PANIC on: March 09, 2020, 07:07:09 AM
There's an article posted that there's a coin dumping Bitcoin and that might have been the cause of the sudden dump today.

Nice find. If this article is truw then that token should be blamed. Holy moly, if those 13k btc would be dump easily then surely the market will go down very fast. Imagine those huge amount of btc being dump at continous price range would affect it somehow.

I am quite shocked cause the downfall is really fast, I do hope that market can recover quickly.

The entire global economy is going down due to the coronavirus panic.Oil,stocks,derivatives...
This is somehow the reason Im thinking but the news on that btc dumping is much more credible, if you add the situation on corona, Im afraid investors would probably pulled out and having a panic button sell off.
530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vindax Scam on: March 09, 2020, 07:00:41 AM
I think you have contacted the fake telegram channel and it's questionable that you have to deposit in order for you to claim $10. There are several complaints so I’d rather not use this exchange. Also, best is we should be picky to use an exchange in doing transactions.
This is the reason probably. Normally an admin of an exchange wouldnt ask you or even claim any money just to settle your transaction. We cant assume that they really scam it plus dont ever transact on social channel such as telegram since we know how scammers are using the admins profile just to get some quick bucks out of your ignorance. Always check whether the username on the main channel is correct, sometime they changes only few that you wouldnt noticed if you dont focus on it.

There have been numerous complaint about this exchange platform here on BTT and I think it is high time people stop patronizing the exchange platform because it will take not so long before the exchange platform finally go away if they continue stealing peoples funds.
We needed some hard evidence before from forum will make action. Also nothing we can do aside from opening a discussio ln thread but only we can warn others to stop using and ask to spread awareness thru social media regarding the exhange flaws.
531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What exactly does a good project needs. on: March 09, 2020, 06:49:29 AM
The question is, would these undervalued, poor dev projects ever compensate investors in terms of returns on investment?
I hope to learn further more below.

Not guaranteed I think. Investors should always be reminded of consequence for these risky projects. Yes not all the time ROI will be seen on some hidden gems and also as a trader we know how volatile this market right, if you want to earn and gain some profits, risk some but dont always expect something sure. Many undrvalued project posses a very high risk and those who keep losing here are those who dont have enough knowledge.

Dont trust mostly what those developers or owners says, about profits cause this is an obvious shill or just part of their words to make you feel relieve.

Instead of believing them, why see for yourself and observe first before putting up some money. Dont believe on quick return profits projects. These will turn out to be exit boys in the end once they gain some profits already.
532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters and Investors, Who values Cryptocurrencies More? on: March 08, 2020, 01:24:22 PM
OP I think you can justify this just because of hunters not being prioritize. First of all, owners will not even think of the hunters sake as long as their coin or token value wont be affected. Ive seen many situations where the rewards for the hunters has been hold off. This is unfair but what can we do? Complain right. The problem with complaining is that the subject will never get prioritize and even noted. For some topics covered how many retaliation has been made? None right.

Also your not the only hunter. Some of them are just eagerly dump the tokens and to be honest that's a fact we cant deny. Of course monetizing the token is the least we cant do when we received it.
533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Myetherwallet(Mew) Site: Previous version is better than current version ? on: March 08, 2020, 01:09:32 PM
Yes, the previous version was far better than the current UI. The vintage version was very easy for everyone, even after the new version, people kept using the old version of MEW, because the recent version seems difficult!

I hate to say but I agree. It's not that I dont understand the process but using the vintage one is much simpler. I only like the part where there is an app now for mew but still I find useful those new wallet app such as trust wallet, imtoken, and enjin wallet. I am fond of using mew before but since of this upgrade I just stick to the new ones Ive mentioned. The only thing will be compared here is security which I think not an issue as trust wallet is very safe.
534  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful of shitcoins on trading platforms. on: March 08, 2020, 01:02:30 PM
There are plenty of rooms for some altcoins but Id rather burn my money with big ones such as eth, xrp, bnb, link and other on the top ranks. You cant expect a good returns and risking your fund for shitcoin that comes from airdrop, bounty and the famous selfdrop. The price of tokens like this

Also avoid shit exchanges as they can mislead you on the price.
A good example of this is mercatox where they manipulated tokens mostly from selfdrop. Even the hype there can make your brain tweaks due to their pump and dump scheme.
535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a Days there is no charm to work in Bounties? on: March 08, 2020, 12:54:11 PM
Bounty Hunters work hard but did not get any Reward. What will be the Solution of This Problem.

Work hard? Sometime working hard should be categorized as an effort that deserved rewards. However, its also duty of the hunter not just keep joining bounty and expect a reward especially if you dont do your assignment on checking the legality and authenticity of the project. That's the problem with hunters nowadays, expectation is really hurting. Avoid complains such as this, cause your not improving by continuously reasoning out that the rewards arent given. Learn to do diligence first.
536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We apologize for the plagiarized white paper on: March 07, 2020, 03:14:12 PM
This is to inform member of this esteemed forum that we did not know about the plagiarized white paper but it was due to the freelancer that handle the job, please accept our sincere apology.

537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the right time to invest in Stellar (XLM) in short term? on: March 07, 2020, 03:04:12 PM
Xlm is a nice platform. The only problem is the lack of promotions and activity. I dont know if they even have dApps already or any thing that their coin will be used. How many platform or projects using their ecosystem? Im not creating fud here but due to performance of eth, eos, tron they been unnoticed.

Especially klaytn blockchain surpass them in terms of dApps activity. Maybe they can caught up if they can introduced more use cases.
538  Economy / Speculation / Re: Value of technical analysis vs sentiment for you on: March 07, 2020, 02:35:20 PM
Technical analyses is one of the best method when youre trading. Some says its only pattern or draw lines but the truth is it is helpful. Yeah most of the time its not accurate but if you learn it and become used to it. That can help you understand how the market for different coin will move. O have a lots of friends that knows how to deal with it. Fundamental is one way or another story. Its effective also when whales are manipulating it and some are riding with this and win huge gains. Timing is the important part but of course we cant know when to buy and sell unless news came and we already know it before it got release. Vice versa with the technical analysis which uses charts.
539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Importance of good marketing on: March 07, 2020, 01:59:46 PM
That's coincidence I think. We know that not all good markwting have good projects. Some of them are just creating hype to have people interested with their project. I have seen this many times and almost all of it are doing the same. Its only rare to see projects that are good in terms of concept and use cases and utilized a good marketing. There is no perfect one and always missing out something.

An effective marketing will always be the exchange crowdfunding. Binance, Kucoin, Okex, Huobi and Gate are the mainstream players for perfect marketing.
540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hostile takeover and the way forward on: March 07, 2020, 01:38:47 PM
Centralized exchanges were allegedly used as accomplices to try to takeover the steemit blockchain by using their user's funds to vote.
This could have been avoided if users use their personal wallet to store or stake their funds.
That situation is really unaccepted. Obviously steemit blockchain has been abused by a central entity here. I hate to say it but Justin Sun really taking advantage the situation over the coins he bought.

It's true that this would be prevented if no one will store their coins on exchanges but nobody expected exchanges would do such thing.
Users cant defent it as they dont have the keys for the wallets. Anyway, this will served as a big lesson for everyone. Centralized exchanges once proven again to be abusing of their power. Steemians are all seriously pissed with what happened.
