5201  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitwings promises smartphone that can mine 2 ETH/month. Ponzi scheme? on: December 21, 2020, 07:20:06 AM
This Mine phone was released. And they delivered it to a lot of users. I got this info from their official announcement channel on Telegram.
This bold part is the key. Just because Bitwings announced something on their telegram channel it doesn't mean that it is true. They have a long history of giving false promises and this is no different. If so many people got their Minephone where are YouTube videos of people using them? I am sure that such a revolutionary smartphone that can mine you 2 ETH per month ( at the moment worth approximately 1300 USD) would create huge hype and everyone would want it. But all I see on YouTube are videos from their  own channel, advertising Minephone.

Basic napkin math tells you that what Bitwings promises is simply not sustainable as they operate as cloud mining. Price  of the smartphone and 1000 MH/s contract for 3 years is 19 ETH (1200 USD for 17 ETH). So, in 6 months you would get your investment back and in the next 30 months you would get 60 ETH extra. You don't have to be a genius to see that this is a ponzi scheme, as only they offer you such profit.
5202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Ann] ⭐️ XENIUMX ⭐️ ⚡ Digital Asset eCommerce Token ⚡ ⭐️ on: December 21, 2020, 07:05:02 AM
Xenuimx will launch the first app on December 25 so you will change your opinion. Token price dropped last month but I think it's possible to get it back for previous meaning. It's a real product.
App or no app, it doesn't make any difference as XeniumX is a scam, made by a well known scammer. I somehow doubt that project which is incapable of making their own whitepaper will bother with something as trivial as own app. Develiping an app means investing time, and you are obviously not interested in that as this is uick money grab, nothing else.

Another thing, all your shill posts are being reported to the moderators and will de deleted so you might as well stop with that.
5203  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitwings promises smartphone that can mine 2 ETH/month. Ponzi scheme? on: December 20, 2020, 04:34:30 PM
So after posting this ^ I decided to contact Bitwings and ask them if the trolling and bumping in the ANN thread on this forum was part of their marketing strategy.

I have not received any reply as of today, but their campaign manager was last seen online the day after I sent my e-mail, and the thread seems dead (for now).
I did the same thing in the past, when I was checking Bitwings for the first time, and back then they pretended that they don't know what i am talking about. They may have stopped for now but I am pretty sure that sooner or later they will continue with the same practice as they had several breaks like that and always came back.

This has to be probably the weirdest scam I encountered this year, it really doesn't make sense that seemingly legit company is still trying to pull something like this. This is not some scam where team is anon. here everything is known, they still have conferences in South America etc. Then again, Bitconnect was the same and we all know how that ended. Some people just don't care.

Žena me odma nagovorila da uzmem jos par komada, haha
Sta reci, zene.. Cheesy

5205  Economy / Reputation / Re: [LIST] ANN threads that are using bumping services on: December 20, 2020, 09:09:41 AM
Two new additions to the list

[Ann] ⭐️ XENIUMX ⭐️ ⚡ Digital Asset eCommerce Token ⚡ ⭐️
Beside hiring sock puppet accounts to fake the interest, XeniumX also completely plagiarized whitepaper of another project and is a work of a known and serial scammer Laurie Suarez. You can read more about it in scam accusation thread.

xpocket - The one-stop solution for your crypto assets
XPocket is just another shitty DeFi that hired the same newbie accounts as above mentioned XeniumX. THose accounts are working exclusively in those two threads, and nowhere else. Another "coincidence" is that all those accounts are created in the last few days/weeks.
5206  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bounties are profitable or not ? on: December 19, 2020, 05:33:42 PM
You are asking us whether bounty campaigns are profitable yet you are doing them at least since August 2019.

The way I would approach bounty campaigns if I ever wanted to join one is I would ask myself would I ever invest my own money into this, does the project makes any sense?Time is money. Now, I know that's not what majority of bounty hunters are doing, as all they do really is joining any campaign that shows up and hope for the best and in most cases they are doing most simple tasks possible, like sharing social media. But exactly that's why we have so many shitty campaigns as people are not ready to do due diligence and simply ignore shitty ones.

My advice for you is to start looking outside of bounty section, this forum is much more than that. There are examples of people that started as aidrop/bounty hunters and now are respected members of this forum.

5208  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Glasanje za najbolji bitcointalk intervju on: December 19, 2020, 03:29:35 PM

5209  Other / Meta / Re: 🏆 Bitcointalk Community Awards [Results of the Year + Quiz] on: December 19, 2020, 03:19:54 PM
Congratulations to all the winners and thanks everyone who voted for me. Didn't expect to finish first as there are many more experienced scambusters around that are trying to make this forum a little bit safer for the others.

Regarding the quiz, I kinda expected that I will suck at this so it was no surprise that I had only 6/20. I haven't even heard about few things in the quiz before, but at least I learned a little bit of bitcointalk history.
5210  Economy / Reputation / Re: Isn't bitcoinermatt abusing the merit system? on: December 19, 2020, 02:52:52 PM
Apropo the painting that @bitcoinermatt claimed that it is his own work, I decided to contact the person who I thought  is original creator, and just to rule out that they are not the same person.

That person (@coaster89) just confirmed me via reddit message that he doesn't even have bitcointalk account, meaning @bitcoinermatt  is guilty of plagiarism and we all know what's the penalty for that.

Here is the screenshot of the conversation I just had with him, confirming my suspicion. I hope that this is enough for him to get banned.  As  @hosseinimr93 suspected, this guy is dodgy af. I just don't understand what exactly he wanted to achieve with this painting claim. Was that just a merit fishing attempt?

5211  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Merit & Difficulties 😑 on: December 19, 2020, 09:33:17 AM
merit Is like a lottery for a newbie. we just post and hoping that there has to be some bravehearted man who just like that post and give a drop in her ocean, but we still did not get it. he he , dont disappoint my friend , one day maybe our wish became succeed, because  hopes make us alive.
Like a lottery? No way, it is quite the opposite. I skimmed over your post history, and in the last six month or so you wrote 4 (four) posts that weren't bounty reports so of course it may feel like a lottery to you, but as long as you keep writing useless posts (and bounty reports are completely useless) you won't get any merit.

As an encouragement you might wanna check this thread The future of Bitcointalk: Low Ranking Top Merit earners in the past 30 days. Plenty of low ranking members there that have no issues when it comes to merit.
5212  Economy / Reputation / Re: Isn't bitcoinermatt abusing the merit system? on: December 18, 2020, 05:07:54 PM
Isn't Merit some kind of "like" or "I like this" and I can return them back? I am surprised there is a whole tread talking about me for this.
It shouldn't really be, but over time it kinda evolved to that, at least to some degree. Members are not as stingy as they used to be when it comes to merit sharing (at least that's what I've been told by older members) so people merit for other reasons other than simply for post quality.

edit: While looking through your post history I noticed that you shared one really cool bitcoin themed painting

Hello everyone, I made a Bitcoin Drawing a while back and kind of forgot about it. Let me know what you think about it. Here it is:

A little bit a of reverse image search and I found this painting on Instagram as work of user @coaster89. It can be found on reddit too (again user with the same name shared it, coaster89). Interesting thing about this is that he is actually making money out of his paintings, selling it for ETH, as seen on this link https://app.rarible.com/coaster89/collectibles.

So, either @coaster89 ripped you off, or you took his drawing and presented it as your own, or maybe both of you are the same person?

edit2: Same painting has been shared by @buyinbtc in Wall thread at the beginning of 2020

This guy is insane. Link to his instagram.

I would tag, but there are so many people saying they shouldn't be....

Problem with tagging is that you can probably find many similar cases, people sharing merits for posts of questionable quality. I do agree that this kind of merit sharing is suspicious but I would really like to see more solid evidence than that, like use of same social media accounts or same address.

5213  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: 5 resursa za podučiti prosječnu osobu o Bitcoinu on: December 18, 2020, 03:53:54 PM

5214  Economy / Reputation / Re: Moneta Holdings17 - Trust abuser/manipulator & liar. on: December 18, 2020, 08:55:02 AM
Yeah he went bonkers after @holydarkness busted him for having plagiarized whitepaper, accusing few of us for extortion and other nonsense. He is offlline for a few days now and he locked that ridiculous thread in scam accusation board so I guess he finally realized he won't achieve anything with those false accusations, on the contrary, he just brought more crap on himself, as expected.

@examplens also made similar topic about him few days ago and his abuse of trust system

5215  Other / Meta / Re: Pls Add a Price Tracker somewhere on the forum on: December 18, 2020, 08:02:03 AM
Not everyone wants to stare at the price all day while browsing on the forum and those who want to can easily find a way to customize it without it being stickied at the top of the forum.
This. Or to quote Michael Scott "No. God. Please. No"

I am one of those that wouldn't like to see something like that being implemented. Few years ago I removed those price tracking apps from my phone as I was checking the damn prices 50 times per day even though I wasn't actively trading and. Now I mostly hear about the price if someone tells me about it or if I read somewhere.

I'm personally done with every time opening an extra tab for coinmarketcap and checking the price.
How hard is that? Or even better, stop checking price constantly and enjoy the ride Smiley

5216  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 5 Resources to teach Average Joe about Bitcoin on: December 17, 2020, 08:31:04 PM
Thanks, Rikafip,
it's nice to see a thread of your still looked after so much time: it means it is still helpful to other users.
I stumbled upon it by a pure chance and I am for sure glad I did! While checking those resources you provided I thought it would be a good idea to have that in my local board since we can expect influx of new people now when BTC reached all time high.

As you, I also think that local boards are important part of bitcointalk and can help spread the word about bitcoin greatly. Not just because it is nice to be able to talk in your native language and therefore express yourself better, but also because when you are newbie bitcointalk can be initimidating place and having a place like that can help. I know it helped me at the beginning and I am probably not the only one.
5217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why current Bitcoin price pump doesn't get enough media attention? on: December 17, 2020, 08:19:10 PM
There is plenty of coverage, at least in my country (Croatoa),  but this time there is no fomo and hype so maybe that's why you think that media is not giving bitcoin enough attention. Honestly, I think that it is a good thing. For sure beats 2017 when every "expert" on TV was saying that BTC is going up to 100k in no time. The moment you see bitcoin being massively shilled in media, it is time for a dump. Since we don't see that yet, maybe we are not close to correction yet.

I also have the feeling that this time people are more cautious than thrilled and excited.
That's for sure. All of those that survived at least one of these bitcoin cycles are cautious now because they are perfectly aware that we can experience strong correction at any time, but at the same time they are calm because they know that even if that happens (and chances are it will) bitcoin will come stronger with new ATH.

Best thing you can do now is enjoy and relax Smiley
5218  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: 5 resursa za podučiti prosječnu osobu o Bitcoinu on: December 17, 2020, 03:00:43 PM
evo jedna kraca, koja je isto vrlo dobra za puno razumevanje revolucije koju je doneo Bitcoin - The Little Bitcoin Book: Why Bitcoin Matters for Your Freedom, Finances, and Future , 117 strana, odlicna knjiga, sad kosta 0.5mBTC Smiley

5219  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ] Xeniumx copied Origin Protocol whitepaper! on: December 17, 2020, 02:44:23 PM
Suarez is not the usual scammer we're getting around here, not the kid with a WP site, or the groups that clone ICOs after ICOs, he is the genuine material, one that was convicted, that was running a Ponzi the day he got out of prison, he's known to the media, he doesn't try to hide or flee, schemes like that are his way of life. Hmm, I would say I'm quite impressed by this, not admiring him but Ponzi and online scammers usually give up when caught and their identity is exposed all over the internet, but not him, one search of his name and you get his felony charges, he isn't even trying to hide with a fake name, more like a professional hitman than a scammer.
Yep, that guy is seasoned criminal who simply doesn't care and not the type we usually see around. I would expect for him to try to pull something bigger/better than copying whitepaper of a known project. I am only curious about other people's photos, whether he stole those from other people or those are real photos of his acomplices.

One thing is for certain, this guy won't quit, if he smells money he will stick around here till death with this project, with a thousand others, he will be around!
That is for sure, this is probably  not the last we see of him. This is his profession and main source of income.
