5201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: are ICOs really dead? on: April 05, 2019, 02:36:08 AM
There is a big chance that ICO will soon die completely. A new form of investment collection has entered the cryptocurrency market - this is IEO. It is carried out by large exchanges and quite successfully. Of course, time will tell what will happen next with ICO, but so far the forecasts are not the best.
If the IEO finally replaces the ICO, it will be good and once again everyone will see that the market is developing and gradually all the weaknesses are corrected, the crypto-currency sphere is getting stronger over the years
It's an improvement so let's welcome that changes.
The old ICO set up will be gone as there's a big risk with that kind of set up, lots of scam coins and therefore it will risk the investors money.
With this platform, investors can choose on which exchange they will use to invest, IMO, its nice if it's on reputable exchanges.
5202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum SCAM? on: April 05, 2019, 02:21:06 AM
there is no way ethereum can scam clear we see the market demand for ethereum very high, ethereum volume and price up so ethereum not be included in the category of scam
People are not foolish to invest in scam coins, and therefore Ethereum is not a SCAM coin.
It has the 2nd largest trading volume next to BTC, that explains well for anyone's doubt that it's scam.
5203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do to recover your losses? on: April 05, 2019, 02:16:42 AM
if I am stuck in the ICO token,
then I will look at the development of the project, whether there is progress or not,
if not, I will move assets to ETH or BTC.
or maybe bBCH is good too.
You are not alone, I have a lot of ICO tokens as well that is almost worthless as of now.
Though I love to move it in a more liquid assets and more popular, but I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to see it all as the trading volume is very low.
5204  Economy / Economics / Re: KYC for penny money? on: April 05, 2019, 01:57:39 AM
Almost for every bounty and airdrop they want KYC. It's not worth KYC for penny money. When we imagine what they can do with our identity data, it is possible to big problems. In addition not only the identification is requested, but  the address documents, telephone and so on. as.  So, all that's needed for what? KYC may be only be for investors, never for bounty rewards.
Unfortunately most of the bounty now requires KYC.
And because of this, those bounty hunters who really want to earn money are force to comply without anymore thinking that they are risking
their identity by giving their real information. Things should change, if a certain exchange that is reputable would require, then maybe that is acceptable.
5205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why Bounty Hunters Should Be Exempted from KYC/AML Procedures on: April 04, 2019, 07:05:41 AM
I agree, infact bounty hunters and investors shouldn't be required any kyc, I afraid some site will misuse the identity from the investors and used it for identity theft, the reason for kyc bounty hunter is not for money laundering but to prevent cheating, but I still think crypto should be free from kyc no matter what is the reason, the developers should find other way to prevent cheating
Investors are required to follow the KYC requirement, if it's part of the requirement, they will have to follow it before they can own a coin or token.
However, like OP said, bounty hunters should be exempted, we did not risk money to own a coin, we work for it, and therefore we should receive the reward with ease.
5206  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Invest any time? on: April 04, 2019, 06:40:18 AM
snip

Anytime is good because we think BTC is cheap and it's in the early phase.
The moment the adoption will significantly increase, I am not gonna be seeing an opportunity to invest.

At this stage where price is still cheap, there are people who doubt that it will not succeed, but when it will succeed, they will then buy, they
are not making a good decision, and they don't want to take a high risk buying now.
5207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do to recover your losses? on: April 04, 2019, 05:44:54 AM
If I already in loss then I would like to start searching some protensial coins which have a lot of chance to increase  prices in future. By invest in this coins I will try to recover my losses.
This is minimizing your loses and finding undervalued coins where you can invest.
The saying is correct, you loss some you win some, that's normal in investing, but make sure you have more win than your loses.
5208  Economy / Economics / Re: Time for investment on: April 04, 2019, 05:28:19 AM
The high opportunity of investment is missed last weeks but you can analyze charts and understand Bitcoin’s prices this days before investing again.
You maybe missed it but the price will not stop here, it could rise not that this trigger a new bull run.
Maybe if we want bigger profit and you want to sell it right away, you should buy during the dip, but we cannot predict the real market movement, but at least it's still not late to buy and take some profit. I have a feeling BTC will rise over $6,000 and we are just in $5,000 now.
5209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CoinMarketCap faking volume on: April 03, 2019, 07:11:06 AM
I don't think coinmarketcap faking volume, exchanges are doing.
This is a more accurate description of the faking in the market.

But coinmarketcap is helping them to do so.

How are they able to help the team in faking the volume, they just report, it's their system that are functioning .

I wanted to report an exchange with obviously fake volume but there weren't any option about that.

Like OP is doing, you can write your own thread here together with your proof, this would help the community to know the real standing of a specific site.
5210  Economy / Economics / Re: Time for investment on: April 03, 2019, 06:45:45 AM
Any suggestion for things that we could invest and make money at the same time
By BTC now, only BTC, the price will rise and will continue, the bull run is finally here and because of that, price could go crazy.
Of course BTC will not rise non stop, it will dump as well, and when it dump that's the time to buy some altcoins ( good alts) as it's their time to shine.
It requires timing but you need that if you want to make a decent income, that's just a suggestion, you can follow it or not.
5211  Economy / Economics / Re: KYC for penny money? on: April 03, 2019, 06:34:10 AM
How sure are you that they are giving their real identity?
Identity thief is happening, they can give other's identity just to have this small amount, or maybe edit pictures and change names just to avail.
They do a lot of trick, if those who ask for KYC for a penny think that they are smart, they will be outsmarted by the bounty hunters.
5212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Huobi vs BNB on: April 03, 2019, 06:25:35 AM
I know most people want the next BNB but BNB is far ahead of other exchange tokens, Huobi has alot of fake volumes and there is little usecase for the tokens unlike BNB, their IEO to me was rigged, I still feel people are not giving Binance enough credit because their IEO pave the way for other exchanges to thrive
BNB is clearly ahead, it has a good trading volume, and that makes them more profitable now.

As of now, Binance exchange has a daily volume of $2,592,220,243 USD , and imagine how much money they are making with that fee.
This will grow as the market continues to be bullish, and compared to other sites this is way bigger.
5213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins useless? on: April 03, 2019, 03:40:39 AM
Today there are more than 4000 different cryptocurrencies and 95% of them are absolutely useless. While this area is only developing, they will exist, but then there will be 20-30 crypto-currencies.
They will not gonna recover even the bull run has already started.
Useless coins can victimize investors once but they cannot do it again, it's because investors are smarter and they have learn from their mistakes.
With the price increase now, it's not gonna dump easy, as we are due for this increase and this could help altcoins to follow the action.
5214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Smerits Hodl on: April 03, 2019, 03:30:59 AM
Those who are hoarding smerits will definitely send them to their alts, account farmer. There's no point of goarding smerit without this reason. Some people sometimes don't get enough time to send them. Moreover, the forum us so big, it's not easy to be up to date with each of the quality post.
You are right, but if people are just willing to send merits, low rank will be given a chance to rank up.
But then again, regardless of the rank you are in now, even you are at low rank, you can still make the same contribution as the higher ranks.
5215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Promoting Gambling on: April 03, 2019, 03:12:42 AM
I have been into gambling site signature campaign for a while and i kinda feel guilty whenever i say negative things about it because its a little bit contradicting even if it is correct.

you mean on the sig campaign that you are joining ?  you know mate its only a job and its not part of your own personal life . you can still say the things that you wanted to say bad or not because that is your life , that is your opinion and this is an open forum  .  in my case  ,  i do also promote a gambling site but so far i didnt say any negative related to it though i sometimes recomend other gambling sites  .
There is no stopping us on saying anytime we like even if it's against gambling.
We should understand the difference of responsible and irresponsible gambling, that's the things that every gambler should know.
If you are gambling responsibly, you will be alight even if you loss.
5216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why Bounty Hunters Should Be Exempted from KYC/AML Procedures on: April 02, 2019, 09:18:12 AM
Why is it possible for others to send the bounty tokens without requiring them for KYC.
This just don't make sense to me, the devs are just trying to cheap the bounty hunters, or to delay the payment, or worse is to hold the payment.
Transparency has to be done at the very beginning, they are using this forum for their campaign, and I guess we need to report them to DT members for tagging.
5217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or XRP on: April 02, 2019, 09:09:47 AM
XRP has very good potential and has a very good future. I am not so sure whether XRP can replace BTC because BTC always experiences growth and this is the first coin. This is quite interesting because we can see many coins that have good potential to approach Bitcoin.
Replacing BTC is close to impossible, people are here for BTC and for it's decentralization, and XRP is not.
ETH did take the no. 2 spot for months but it was not able to hold it longer, ETH a still decentralized coin take that place and still holding until now.

If you noticed, there's not much growth for XRP thus far, but some altcoins and BTC are doing great.
5218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Smerits Hodl on: April 02, 2019, 08:38:28 AM
Some are holding it, maybe because they are not aware on how it works, so they don't know how to spend.
There are a lot of spammers in these forum, but has been reduce now already because some are ban or maybe some just give up because signature bounty is not giving good income anymore and those who high on a weekly basis has required merits for the applicants.

If they can spend their merits, then this forum will be more better since the newbie will rank up and they will be happy of what they deserve.
Thanks for noticing that, it's actually through, maybe when the bull run starts they will also off load their merits.  Grin
5219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I need some Altcoin to hold longterm :D on: April 02, 2019, 04:55:03 AM
The market for altcoins are down, but for BTC it's not.
Altcoins is down, and therefore good to buy, you can hold it for long term but we already learned our lessons in the past.
We have proven Altcoins dump more compared to BTC, and therefore the best strategy is to buy and sell for short term, bull run gives good profit for non greedy people.

According to the current market, invest time now. The market is a lot down now. There are many coins for longterm inventory, which will give you the weekend profit.
Those are
XLM
KICK
DCT
WAVES
NEO
5220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STEEM will rise again on: April 02, 2019, 04:49:28 AM
See some good price increase today but only affected because BTC is mooing.
The legit coins will pump again, and STEEM is no doubt a solid and legit coin, if anyone is thinking of buying, they should jump now.

I repeat, BTC is mooing today.

Trading at $4,400 today and still going up.
