5221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Started Gambling Because You Want To Be Part Of A Gambling Campaign on: February 24, 2020, 07:58:46 PM
I'm already open with gambling and before getting into such, I have experienced it already when I was younger. It means that you were not really gambling when you have joined. The games that we get to experience from these crypto casinos if not part of our lives before, now it's getting a portion of our time.

And before the popularity of crypto, I'm guessing that many were already into sports betting, poker, etc.
5222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep a spreadsheet for you wins and losses for tax purposes? on: February 23, 2020, 11:22:19 PM
You have a good purpose why you do that and if you think that is necessary and beneficial in your future, continue it. But as for me, I am not tracking my wins and losses. I dont think there's a need for it and its not really a practice for me.

It takes time and effort too to make one but I dont really see that I have to do it. Also, I dont want to remember my losses.
5223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Buying BTB, which exchange? on: February 23, 2020, 10:35:20 PM
TradeSatoshi is closing down? Damn! I never knew that's gonna happen, thanks for the heads up, BTB is also available on flogory exchange and CCX Canada exchange
Yes and it is official that they are closing.

That is why I told you quickly when I saw you suggested that exchange. Any altcoin that will be deposited there might be locked and cant be withdrawn anymore.
5224  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Have you heard about Instant Exchanges before? on: February 23, 2020, 07:51:29 PM
Exchanges topic should be on the Exchanges board.

And since you have mentioned about instant exchanges, why not mention one so that we will all be aware of the kind that exists because everyone uses custodian, cex/dex.
5225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Changelly on: February 22, 2020, 05:50:28 AM
Shapeshift is the only insta exchange that ask for KYC verifications now, changelly don't do that, if you don't know how to use changelly you can start using coinomi wallet, it allows changing coins to another using changelly, it's very easy

what you mean by insta ? instant   ? you cant call it instant if they require a kyc because doing a kyc is pretty hassel   . a real instant exchange means it does not need any signups or any other hassel verifications   .  i think i already heard and see shapeshift before and before they dont have a kyc right ? because kyc is not really that popular that time   .
Instant, I guess that's what he meant.

Using changelly through coinomi, it wouldn't ask you even to sign up because they are integrated with it. But if you're using them through their website, they require you to sign up.

coinomi also uses shapeshift before but i dont use coinomi now  , did they remove shapeshift and replace by changely  ?
No, they didn't.

Those two still exists if you visit their app.

5226  Economy / Economics / Re: World economy would benefit if all crypto work together on: February 22, 2020, 04:36:14 AM
It basically won't happen this time. But when everything has been proposed and it's still not working, these developers of projects will soon turn their back to what they have developed and might just support one cryptocurrency and that's bitcoin.

That time will come but there's no definite time when it shall happen. But seeing that everybody to unite and mostly these developers, we will not see this in an instant. It's about competition and the potential profit that they shall get.
5227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you share at least one gambler who have become rich in gambling? on: February 22, 2020, 03:43:31 AM
I knew a guy/bi, that won a lot of money by betting on the lottery. I can't say his name but let's just call in under the nickname "Rowena". A lot of people knew about it and the proof of it, well, he had a lot of stores in our town. A parlor, a shop which is selling a lot of stuff like clothes, bags, shoes but not branded, he has these stores like 4 or 5 of them and that is because he won in the lottery.
Can you disclose how much he has won in the lottery? looks like Rowena was wise with the money that he has won. And I think the majority that have won and became rich with gambling was through luck and that's with the lottery.

To be honest I don't know the exact amount. In our country, we have this lottery called PCSO lotto where we predict a combination of numbers. There are also modes like ez2, swertres, 4 digits, 6 digits, and others. As far as I know, he won at the 6/42 or the digits, nowadays the prize money for that is 9 million pesos or $176,850.90. As you said, I think he did not really become rich because of gambling but because he handled that winnings very well.
It's still a lot of money honestly.

I've heard many success stories of gamblers that became rich but the next act would be the most interesting part of their lives. It's how they will handle the money that they've won.

And usually, many that came from gambling or quick profits can easily be spent in trivial things. But that person is one of the few that spent it which will change his life forever.
5228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why we have slow steps about convincing governments to accept bitcoin? on: February 22, 2020, 03:00:07 AM
There must be some changes to their stand to crypto business after all exchanges are making money and if more exchanges are choosing Malta due to their lose-tight regulation, it could be a reason Polo and others come to set up an office as well. It really look like every time they go elsewhere the government will be after them. Looks like a political issue. So where will binance go now if they are to go where crypto isn't heavily opposed?
Looks it was actually like that. They probably don't thought of it that crypto business is going to be big or as it is right now and they were open before with such business like Binance until they've noticed that they should tighten or at least revise some of their regulations regarding establishing business on their jurisdiction.

Binance's statement must be clear as well, I don't know who's telling the truth and we will see where this is going.
5229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: DeFi lending with MakerDao or Oasis give 8% interest in Ethereum on: February 21, 2020, 11:41:44 AM
he didnt clearly state if what he will be needing
He's probably an investor and looks for a better place to earn more than 8% interest through lending besides the given DeFi's on the title.

This thread got an interesting attention and points of what DeFi's are. @OP, I think you have already found a good answer and we've learned something new today.

5231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for crypto holders to complete a paid interview on: February 21, 2020, 09:54:29 AM
Before proceeding, I'll consider the feedback given to him seriously.. Read it first guys before taking something seriously with the deals coming from him.

Don't do something with pennies and there's a possibility that conditions might not be followed base from those feedback.
5232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Buying BTB, which exchange? on: February 21, 2020, 09:16:47 AM
Here are few good exchanges you can buy BTB from
1. TradeSatoshi
Hey don't deposit anything on tradesatoshi now. Maybe you haven't seen the news or their tweet a few hours ago, they've announced their closure. It's also posted on their website.

5233  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Orion Finance Exchange on: February 21, 2020, 08:43:55 AM
I thought that your logo was inspired by Binance.

By just launching last year, your dashboard says that you have 2.2M USDT volume within a 30 day of operation and 314,655 USDT volume for 7 days. But why is it that within the last 24 hour, you have zero volume already?
5234  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Halving 2020 prediction! on: February 21, 2020, 08:03:01 AM
I think we had enough threads for the halving. As pointed by mk4, we should stick to the old ones and continue discussing there and when the halving's totally near, there will be more of it so discussions will be spread through several threads if we keep doing this.

Just saying.
5235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Integrating cryptocurrency in business on: February 20, 2020, 10:24:06 AM
It is there and being used by the early adopters whom are the businesses that are open to this method. For an open minded business folk, he's open to this idea because if he has a various type of customers and others prefer something new or is/are already in bitcoin, they would prefer to pay his goods or services through bitcoin.

And it's easier for the side of the business folk because there are third party services that allows them to accept payments and nothing to worry about the conversion if they do prefer USD or fiat still.
Unlike the government of banks, entrepreneurs sees the cryptocurrency a huge step up not only in payment method but also in storing digital asset and running fully electronic business. I've been seeing such businesses offering a global product or services through the help of cryptocurrencies, they are not only depending on the online payment processors like paypal. Aside from getting benefit of a seamless transaction using crypto, they have this advantage of getting the price increase which they can grab for another investment opportunity.
Yes, everyone is free to define bitcoin with the likes of its purpose. It can be as a payment method mostly for businesses and merchants. And there's also its own classification as a store of value which is being defined and used by everyone such as the people mostly here in the forum.

The businesses that extended their acceptance through bitcoin sees the demand has been increasing for them and that's why they have an option to use it as they please or if a portion of their customers base prefer to pay with bitcoin.

5237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple partnership with bkash? Is it legal? on: February 20, 2020, 08:47:03 AM
I can't also see a partnership with Ripple and BRAC. I see some articles and partnership of BRAC and Bkash but it's with the traditional partnership and companies.

We have believed that Ripple is for the banks but as said, until now we haven't see a remittance center or even a bank use their XRP alone. But there were news about the technology they offer, something like Xrapid.

This topic should be on the Altcoin Discussion.

5238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin boom or burst ? how to analyzed? on: February 20, 2020, 08:07:24 AM
You can create your own speculation, that's all you have to do to see the market in a different perspective and that would be your own perspective. And we will see how good you are in giving meaning to the current market that we have.

Just like the behavior of bitcoin, it's very unpredictable and that's all you have to think of. Whether everyone has an enticing speculation and analysis about bitcoin but it's always unpredictable and nobody can have a perfect say about it.
5239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would make you stop gambling? on: February 19, 2020, 10:57:08 PM
I don't think having enough money from gambling should make one to quite playing gambling in my opinion. Making good money from playing will rather make me to play more gambling and not the other way around. For now the only thing that make me quite gambling is when my capital in the gambling exchange is finished.
Some gamblers that want to secure profit will not allow those profits to be recovered by the house. So the tendency, they stop and spending the profit for something better and keeping the capital that they've used.

But there's also the spirit of being confident that you either continue to win more which makes every gambler to have that intense feeling. And it results to gamble more and it's a 50/50 on our ends and it will definitely make you stop only if you have nothing anymore.
5240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: We want true Decentralization in crypto but we use Centralized exchanges! on: February 19, 2020, 10:29:48 PM
We all want true decentralization but I doubt if that will happen because centralization has made things easy with crypto. Most if the decentralized exchanges are difficult to use.
I find it difficult to use and that is one concern should be fixed or at least resolved by its developers. I want to use it as much as I can but the truth is that centralized exchanges are doing it better.

And the another one that's being pointed out by majority, the liquidity there is almost nothing which we can't really rely. I think we will be tied up with the use of centralized exchanges for a very long time.
