5261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we have the total of nonempty wallet on the network? on: June 27, 2012, 01:10:05 AM
Oops, was checking the forum in my bed with phone.  Embarrassed
I think either blockchain.info or block explorer has this data, but I can't check them in a timely fashion now.  Damn this small screen I'm peeking at.
5262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we have the total of nonempty wallet on the network? on: June 27, 2012, 01:01:02 AM
Nope, you can't pinpoint that number. Anyone could generate a address offline, and nobody would be wiser. you can only determine number of addresses with coins.
5263  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitLasers.com - Handheld Lasers and accessories [BLUES IN STOCK] on: June 26, 2012, 06:23:09 PM
Many items out of stock at the moment. I probably won't be restocking all the different lasers due to low interest.

So I'm asking you, which of the lasers listed on the site do you think would sell best? Which would you be interested in? Maybe something completely different than what is listed? Smiley

http://www.wickedlasers.com/lasers/Spyder_III_Pro_Arctic_Series-96-37.html

Get that in stock and send it to Korea and I'll buy one.

My blue lasers are nearly twice as powerful as the Spyder Arctic, AND half the price.. They are quite honestly a steal in comparison.. Is it just the looks of the Arctic you want?  Undecided

I ship wordwide too.

Seriously? I honestly didn't know. I'll check those out then. I'm quite a newbie when it comes to lasers.

Yep Smiley The spyder arctic is notoriously underpowered, it's actually around 700-800mW even though they advertise it as 1000mW. I sell 1300mW and 1800mW lasers, both cheaper than the arctic.

And yet Wickedlasers makes tons of sales. If only every potential wicked lasers customer on this forum knew about the lasers I sell.. Smiley

You'll have to turn to survivallasers for pure power. I'm still waiting for their 2.2w laser to be offered in their new sexy host. *drools*

Data directory for Ubuntu/linux.

Code:
Linux
By default Bitcoin will put its data here:
~/.bitcoin/

Delete wallet.dat contained inside, and restart Bitcoin.
5266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's Usefulness - So utterly apparent on: June 26, 2012, 06:07:09 AM
Is this a sign that the banks in the US are going south? I've just withdrawn ~$10,000 USD worth of my local currency last week at a small branch of Citibank and I didn't notice any problems with that.  Most, if not all banks here allow a person to withdraw up to ~$3000 here a day via ATM, and if you need more you can just hit the teller up.
Reminds me to clear my US based bank account next time.  Undecided

Payb.tc where do you live? Florida? (not that it matters, just interested)
I would think Australia.
5268  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying Small Lots Of BTC (10 BTC Or Less) For PP on: June 26, 2012, 01:58:04 AM
I assume starting with a MoneyPak will help out, I'll try that.
Better provide the receipt of the MoneyPak showing it's bought using cash. There is another thread showing chargebacks are happening too with CC: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=89182.0

They go to the deep fryer, that's why I don't worry about the tenderness.

Get a Ruger LCP. Perfect if the zombies come when you're in the office loo, you'll still have something to defend yourself.  Cheesy

Yeah perfect if only 6 zombies show up Wink

And you're a crack shot with your pants around your ankles.  I'll admit first hand that is one scenario that I've never tested at.
So that's where the LCP appeals - you can front pocket carry it quite easily. Anything IWB goes down with your pants when you're on the throne.  Wink The 6 shots give you enough time to just lift your pants up and not exposing yourself to teh zombies.  Grin

Yeah somehow six rounds just never appealed to me for self defense, when I can have 18 rounds of 9mm instead Smiley

It depends on how much you're willing to carry - for example I could've had mah AR-15 to SD and not mess with those puny pistols.  Wink

Ahaha made my day...

But that was the appetizer, Later came the Pot O' Pups. Its odd, theyre just like Lobster, so much tastier when you boil them alive...

The pups seem to have the time of their lives in their hot spring bathtub.  Wink
I know mine does - provided you keep it below 35* . Grin
5272  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying Small Lots Of BTC (10 BTC Or Less) For PP on: June 26, 2012, 01:28:28 AM
Other way around man, you need to already have the rep for people to trust you handing out Paypal. The chargeback comes from your end, not theirs in this case...

I understand that, which is why I prefer to do small lots of BTC and am willing to send the PayPal as a gift which then increases my risk.
Also have no problem using escrow services for any transaction, I have nothing to hide.

I have to start somewhere  Wink
It would be better if you started with a non-reversible payment method first to build cred and start off at bitcoin-otc too.

Doing some backtrace, I've determined that this site is hosted on : server02.usjusthost.com ,
with the IP as : 108.163.231.98

Unsurprisingly, there's around 60 sites with the same IP:

Hence, their ISP is SingleHop.com .  Any hope in sending a complaint to that?
By the way, usjusthost.com is owned by a Chinese - that probably explains the scammer's lack of command of English.

I suppose the only true information would be contained in the last codebox I've quoted, so the scammers would be living in Australia.
Any hope in sending a complaint to http://www.melbourneit.com.au/ ?

If you Google :

Code:
PO Box 459
Drums, PA. US 18222

You'll see that multiple sites have the exact same registration address like ipad.com. Even Valve reportedly had the same address  Tongue

Quote
This is probably a lie, but here's some serious research I did.

Anybody who thinks this is by Valve Corporation should read up on the IP address registration (you can learn more about .com ownership by going to WHOIS.GODADDY.COM and typing in a domain URL) and you will find that the domain is owned by a "David Hassen, PO Box 459, Drums, P.A. US 18222". No connection to Big Gabe whatsoever. Except the address, which is the address of Network Solutions, a web hosting service for businesses in Pennsylvania. If you click the HL3 logo in the middle, however, you will find you are taken to "half-life3.com" before being swiftly redirected to "half-life2.com". This domain, (half-life3.com) is owned by "Valve Corporation, PO Box 459, Drums, P.A. US 18222". Why are they the same address? I check out many other domains and was shown different addresses. The circumstances are nerve-wracking.

This could be something...

Doh, that address is the one that NetSol uses for private registrations. No lead there.
Oops, just did a whois for the site and turned out entirely different addresses:
