5261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The War has started. Crypto vs Giants on: March 22, 2018, 09:40:09 PM
No one can't stop crypto from its significant growth, its just the beginning because some community will try to stop the growth of crypto in any way. But it could be the game of whales, which want to crush the price to get low prices.
There is no doubt that the use of cryptocurrency will have a significant growth in the future and bitcoin will be leading the platform,i am not certain about the rest of the coins and facebook is an advertisement platform and there were many scams that were being advertised with the help of social media and scammed innocent users and in order to tackle that situation there is nothing wrong in stopping taking advertisement from ICO and being a company that wanted to protect its users they have the right to determine what kind of advertisement is shown.

No, facebook is afraid that they may lose million of their subscribers to subscribe to btc that is why they ban it.. When I didnt knew bitcoin I do facebook all day, but now that I am here in bitcoin.. I leave facebook to work in bitcoin.
I really cannot understand the correlation between a social media site and bitcoin, it looks like you were working for facebook and now you resigned the position and started working in bitcoin and so they are pissed off at the situation. Tongue Grin  The real reason is said above and not that they are worried about loosing customers. Tongue
5262  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the future of virtual currency like bitcoin ? on: March 22, 2018, 08:58:30 PM
Over time Bitcoin will become a universal transnational currency with a stable exchange rate. While it is difficult to say what will be the instruments of regulation of this currency and of cryptocurrencies at all.
Never expect a stable price when it comes to a platform that is being traded globally round the clock, there is no difficulty in coming up with regulations either by any governments, they can enforce strict know your customer for every exchanges and they can ban ICO altogether which i think is running with any regulations, only good projects with solid vision must be approved and i am expecting these rules being implemented pretty soon.
5263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC FN 127: Werdum vs Volkov Prediction and Info Thread on: March 21, 2018, 09:10:46 PM
Ah finally it's over...  On we go to what is obviously the sickest card of the year so far.  UFC 223.  Ferguson has been kicking metal pipes and elbowing metal stands as part of his training afaik.
I think he's going for a TKO via fight stoppage by cutting Khabib's eye or something.  Ferguson knows he has no chance if he goes toe to toe vs the bear.  Roar.
This is the most anticipated fight in the history of Lightweight division and we fight fans are waiting for this encounter for a very long time and this is fourth time this fight is scheduled and i really hope this will happen at last. Ferguson is really confident on the ground and he usually pulls guard most of the time but against Khabib he might get in trouble.

Sad though to see Fabricio lost this fight when he is already ahead. However, I might say that its not over till the final bell rings.
As for Manuwa vs  Blachowicz, this time Jan has his revenge and won UD. He KO Jimi in the first round but unable to finished him though.
It was a heavy loss for Fabricio Werdum and it is difficult for him to get back to title contention now and this fight just proved again that Jimmy Manuwa is all talk and he is not champion caliber and yet again he proved he is having huge flaws in his technique.
5264  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BITCOIN is for long term investment on: March 18, 2018, 10:55:41 PM
I invest in Bitcoin long term, but I can see times when you can justify selling. For example, if you bought earlier in 2017 and then saw the price make a huge gain to close to $20,000, you could have sold for a really good profit. Then you could have waited for the drop to buy back much cheaper. I think if you can time the big increases and corrections, there is room to make some decent profit short term.
It is not that easy to determine how long a rally will go and when we will see the correction ,last year it was an anomaly when it comes to bitcoin rally as the price was going up without any breaks and i expect the rally would stop at five thousand and sold my coins thinking to purchase at a later time ,i made many sell orders before that too expecting a correction but the price went up till twenty thousand,i am sure no one really thought that the price will touch those valuations in this short period.
5265  Economy / Economics / Re: did you know industry marijuana will be good future in cryptocurrency? on: March 18, 2018, 10:06:05 PM
You are correct marijuana's are something that could go big in bitcoin. I know a ICO that promotes marijuana the cannabis in this forum are really in the place to promote and legalize marijuana in most countries in the world.
Do you really think that the governments around the world will legalize marijuana, that is not going to happen , i am not really sure about all the coins that support the cannabis industry ,the first thing is it wont be a success as it is not legal in most part of the world and you will end up in legal trouble if you are dealing with these things.

It has the future of all amoung currency. I know Marijuana will be legalize in the near future as it will be a billion dollar industry as we all know that se countries banning Marijuana but the potential is always there. Something big is coming in our way so watch out.
I am not sure in which part of the world you are living in, do not dream of a day when you see marijuana being legalized ,it is a multi billion dollar industry world wide in the illegal market but that does not need new tokens for it,i do not see those coins lasting for a couple of years.
5266  Economy / Economics / Re: With Hackers everywhere, How safe is Cryptocurrency? on: March 18, 2018, 09:37:53 PM
There are exchange hacks and that is the worst thing as you cannot trust any exchange with your coins and for individuals Phishing sites is the major way that their accounts are hacked and beware using public WiFi too while using your private key as there is a possibility to be hacked ,the safest way is to keep your private keys safe and not to use them in public places or network and keep your system secured with a good antivirus software.
5267  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin miners are now losing money on: March 18, 2018, 04:10:03 PM
What is this going to mean for bitcoin, if nobody wants to mine it?
If you are aware that there was a time when bitcoin was well below thousand dollars and people were still mining the coin even at a loss, there are big mining farms and they wont quit the process because they have invested a lot of money into this, small time miners will phase out eventually and that is how things work in the mining ecosystem.
5268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a crypto exchange in onion? on: March 18, 2018, 02:54:35 PM
Hi people!
At the last major exchange, crypto-currencies force their users to reveal their identity, to photograph the person, passport, etc., which contradicts the very idea of crypto-currency. Are there any crypto-exchange exchanges in darknet? I think this is not a busy niche for business.
If was destined to be like this in the future and the government will force them to use KYC if not they will end up in trouble and now things are changing for sure, why you want to go to darknet when you have decentralized cryptocurrency exchange if you are worried about providing your identity,as
ETFbitcoin said you wont find a very huge volume like we have in other exchanges because it will take some time for people to understand the idea and start trading in those decentralized exchanges.

Here is the list of a few Decentralized exchanges, there are many more, you can select your favorite with more volume.

1.Idex
2.OpenLedger
3.Waves Decentralized Exchange
4.Oasis
5269  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Is bitcoin going down again? on: March 18, 2018, 01:21:17 PM
There are shills who promote altcoins. I have seen brain dead shills posting shit across many social media and promoting totally scam shitcoins. They dont care that its a shitcoin or its a scam project. But often legitimate people fall for them especially the newbies who come to the crypto world.
The issue with shit coins and projects which are collecting huge amount of money is the main reason the governments around the world are planning to put regulations and it will affect bitcoin too when it comes to privacy and so on.People who plan on investing must learn about these new projects rather than going for the gamble, thinking about huge profits.

Panic selling is common and people have their emotions too to keep control of. So its not their fault. However the good thing to do at the time of red market is to hold and see or set a stop loss and sell accordingly in a calculated fashion.
I am not a fan of stop loss when it comes to bitcoin, the market could go down sharply but it will recover too in a short period of time, the only thing you can do is to wait for the market to recover and in my past experience as everyone knows, the price always recovers even if it takes some time.
5270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your bitcoin story? Good or bad on: March 18, 2018, 10:07:59 AM
if there is something very painful in this world is "work hard and not be well rewarded for this work", when this happens "work hard and not be well rewarded for this work" many people get frustrated and drown their wounds in dark things like drugs, excessive alcoholic beverages, become addicted to sex
If you have the right qualification and you are working the job you like the most then you will be rewarded without a doubt. There are levels to everything and you only get frustrated because you might be doing a job you really do not like and you are doing it just for the payment, getting addicted to drugs and alcohol for that is just stupidity but the last menu you mentioned,i consider it as a healthy proposition . Cheesy  Tongue
The best story of mine is that i got into bitcoin pretty early ,i did not make a lot of money but i had my profits throughout my time in cryptocurrency than the rest of my investments and hopefully it will continue like that in the future.
5271  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you encourage friends and family to invest in crypto? on: March 17, 2018, 10:35:19 PM
I'm someone who loves to share.  When I discovered blockchain technology a while ago, I wanted to tell everyone.  I didn't stop with my friends and family.  I told colleagues at work, my doctor, and just about anyone who would listen.  Some who got in early made money and were very happy.  But others waited until after seeing the massive bull run to invest, and bought at the top.  Now I keep my mouth shut because I can't control how people invest.  Even though blockchain will change the world, there are still good and bad investments.  How about you?  Do you encourage others to invest in crypto?
This is exactly the reason you do not advice anyone to invest into anything, all you can do is introduce them to the new platform and let them decide whether to invest in it or not, there are people who would like to wait till the price goes above the intended valuation and then invest in it for a quick profit but it will end up in a disaster and the negative things you are going to hear is ridiculous,so i rather stay away from encouraging someone to invest rather than introducing them and let them decide what they do with it. Wink
5272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: March 17, 2018, 09:59:30 PM
I am looking for good entry point. My guess it will be in a 1-2 week. See you there.
The price has come down a lot in recent weeks ,i have invested in this token and i was anxious when the price started falling again because the amount of money i invested has gone down a lot  and now we have a clear solution for the token swap, but i am against a deadline to participate in the swap because there might be people who invest in it because they consider it as a good project and check the price after one year to review the progress and if there is a deadline it will be unfair for the investors.
5273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most cryptocurrencies will crash to zero on: March 17, 2018, 09:26:13 PM
This is not true at all. There are always new investors and the old investors aren't leaving either. A couple of years ago, ETH was $10 now it's worth over $500. Numbers like these will never let the market crash and go to zero
You cannot argue with this either, there are many projects and tokens coming up and there are many tokens that collected huge amount of money in the form of initial coin offering and it is really hard to predict what all projects will be running smoothly in a few years time ,remember all of the initial offer comes out without even having a solid completed project and it is really in its test phase and it is possible that many of them crash out in the long run.
5274  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could bitcoin reach 100.000$ ? on: March 17, 2018, 08:09:15 PM
I read an article a couple of days ago, in which a guy was saying that he thinks bitcoin will reach 100.000 $ by the end of 2018.
What do you guys think?
I'd appreciate pertinent and/or fact based opinions.
I really do not think that anyone could predict the exact time when the price of bitcoin will reach those valuations,to be frank it will take a really long time to reach those valuations, getting those valuations in five years time is a good prediction considering the price would go up a certain percentage every year,if you are digging the facts,it is not a realistic price to achieve by the end of this year but we hope we would touch those valuations in the future.
5275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC FN 127: Werdum vs Volkov Prediction and Info Thread on: March 16, 2018, 11:46:50 PM
I am very much interested to see what the career path of Fabricio Werdum would be,he is going for another title shot and he has a tough opponent in Aexander Volkov, but the problem with Volkov is that i have not seen him beat any championship caliber fighters in his career and so i am going with Werdum to win  the fight.
I am not sure about Jimi Manuwa as he is all talk and never performs well against top contenders, but Jan Blachowicz lost to Jimi Manuwa earlier and i am not sure why this fight was made in the first place may be to please the home town fans as the best earner for them Bisping is not fighting in this card they might have given the chance to Manuwa.
Another fighter i am interested in is Hakeem Dawodu .
5276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much need Bitcoins for start crypto business? on: March 16, 2018, 10:05:04 PM
How much need Bitcoins for start crypto business?
What you think about it?

It all depends upon what kind of business you are planning to start,if you are planning to run a bitcoin based casino or sports gambling you need to have a big reserve to settle out the bets and i would say around hundred bitcoins or more as reserve in some of the gambling sites i know,if you are planning to start an exchange you need to have a good reserve ,in short either you should have a lot a coins which you acquired when the price was low or you need to have a good bank balance ,but if you are selling any service then you do not need much money to begin with.
5277  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN bounce back to $20k in 2018? on: March 15, 2018, 09:54:58 PM
During the latter part of 2017,I advised a friend to invest inBTC.He adhered to it and bought some good amount..He then proceeded to buy more when it hit the range 18k-20k..He is now upset due to how market is reacting...Anybody here to give an expect advice?
If you are investing your money you have to be really careful ,the price was rallying for a long time and it nearly touched $20k and why would anyone risk and enter at those evaluations rather than waiting to see how the market reacts after touching $20k because it was a major obstacle resistance point or a psychological value and  by the kind of rally we had we need to take precaution . The only step you can do is to average the loss when the market goes down and wait for the long term,i would not suggest to invest further if you are on a budget, but if you are willing to risk then it is your call and that is the advice i can give to your friend.
5278  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com service resumed! World's largest dice site on: March 15, 2018, 09:16:42 PM
Yes, using bot to hunt specific number will be helpful therefore we don't need to watch our rolled numbers all the time. Tbh, hitting 77.77 alone won't be so hard even though it will depend on luck.
In my time gambling with prime dice it was really difficult to touch those double figures even before there was a jackpot associated  with it. If you are specifically looking for 77.77 sure you can try your luck using a bot and you needed to have a big balance to try for a long time. Cheesy

I do respect those who have made Seuntjies DiceBot because I can see that many gamblers enjoy using it, but I personally don't use it myself. Gambling for me is an entertainment, not a hard work to make money with and that's why I don't need a bot to do it for me. I prefer manual betting when you can clearly see the outcome of every single bet, while reading the amazing PD chat, chatting with friends, participating in trivias, challenges and so on. )
It is true that manual betting is the true enjoyable experience but using bot every now and then is also fun,to be frank i won the most from the site using bot and not by manual play and i lost the most too with bot and a couple of times i won big because i gave the wrong multiplication order than i was planning to roll with another value ,those were just lucky days . Smiley
5279  Economy / Speculation / Re: panic or to be calm on: March 14, 2018, 09:54:26 PM
Maybe soon someone will make special crypto browser, that is a cool idea maybe someone already working on that, and people will use that. Google build empire very fast, they can fall even faster if people stop using them.
Let us just say that google has a really huge foundation and it is not just a browser and it cannot be ignored just like that, netscape went down fast because of their business model and that is not the case with google. There are some developments going on in the crypto world too,if you remember there is a token named BAT and the team behind it is promising and they are working to break the monopoly of big advertisers like google and facebook.
I am not worried about the price because i am certain that the price would recover.
5280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John Oliver 'You’re not investing, you’re gambling' on: March 14, 2018, 09:17:23 PM
John Oliver has very well said here about his knowledge about bitcoin and what he is says is that it is a combination of what people do not understand in money and computers and that is exact his problem too,he does not have a definite clue about bitcoin .Let us not focus on others and what they think about bitcoin,if you are an investor you must learn about the positive and negative aspects of it and i know what i am doing with my money.
