5261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google Searches of Bitcoin on: February 12, 2020, 11:55:00 PM
Least expected I guess.

Bitcoin is skyrocketing again and those searches are from people who are interested again of watching the price rally of bitcoin. And I think, they are in between now whether to buy before it pumps more or wait until it dips.
5262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the 21M BTC supply promise realistic? on: February 12, 2020, 11:03:58 PM
Is  the 21M BTC supply promise realistic?
It's for real and it's even recorded and programmed to have that supply limit. Reaching that max limit will take around a century or more until there's no more bitcoins left to mine but it's all going to be in the circulation.

Miners will continue to mine for the same thing and that's for the confirmation of our transactions. I'm also confused what you're bringing up here or what bothers you about the supply limit.
5263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving: What is it? on: February 12, 2020, 10:34:05 PM
The mining farms that have invested a large capital won't let their farms to shut down because of that. They will keep themselves on the trend unless they can't keep and take the expenses anymore.

Agree, these big mining farms would be the last to stand until the last Bitcoin is mined. This expense is just a one time upgrade in 4 years anyway, and I guess they could easily handle that, but then again the total amount of expenses is a pain in the a** lol  Cheesy
They can even maintain a long term operation so I guess they are all prepared if something like that happens suddenly. Most of them are wise and probably see this happening in the future.

There must be sort of savings dedicated for future upgrades.

5264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto 2020! Gains or Losses? on: February 12, 2020, 09:50:28 PM
How do you plan to help others on here? send them bitcoin? it will be better to show us how you earn the 3x from bitcoin, I'm thinking its from trading right? leverage or just normal same trading way of buying low and selling high?
No one will just ever send a stranger the bitcoins that he have made or earned out of these exhausting years. It's already at the top of this thread and as you can see there's a poll and you will have the idea of the "signals".

And that's what exactly what he's trying to say to us. Usually, these kind of signals are not free, they will ask you for a premium which you should use until your premium membership expires. I haven't purchased one before and I don't have any plan to.
5265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: February 12, 2020, 09:10:01 PM
[DOTA 2] My picks for today for ESL One LA qualifiers:

HellRaisers - Natus Vincere: BetOnBit

Ninjas in Pyjamas - Aggressive: BetOnBit
You picked good teams.

NiP won against salty Aggressive Mode, I'm pointing out with Lil. There's a popular twitter drama that's circulating now which he started.

"Navi is back!" as they say and they totally are. I can say that you are not lucky with this picks, you know how to pick and analyze the upcoming match before betting. That's a sweet victory for you.
5266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: February 11, 2020, 11:54:27 PM
They also won the fight 2-0 with Aggressive Mode. OG for TI10!!
OG is doing it again. Guys, if you are ever logged on to your steam accounts, check the profile of N0tail and read his current username. Just like what Topson said on the true sight docu, they want to make it three.

Well for the last match in this region, NiP versus their ex-carry, skiter/oliver on Aggressive mode.

Congratulations to Team Secret and OG, I'm a fanboy of both teams.
5267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why bounty budget is becoming too much low? on: February 11, 2020, 11:05:22 PM
What do you like then? A huge pool of a bounty that promises you money out of thin air or a legitimate bounty that has a small fund but will definitely pay the people that will help them and join their advertisement.

The realistic budget for a bounty is much way better than those millions of budget as mentioned but it's only an assumption if the project becomes successful. The situation has changed a lot, 2017 we've seen millions of funds for every project but we will no longer see it. I think scene is becoming better if there are still legit projects that will allocate reward from their own funding.
5268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving: What is it? on: February 10, 2020, 11:52:07 PM
It's for the good of bitcoin and rewards of miners will be cut into half. This will make the demand even higher so if you're worrying about it, the past halving did result in good price of bitcoin. Wink

But I guess it's not really that good for the miners because  blocking halving means not just the rewards will be cut into half again, but also means upgrading their hardware. Imagine the expense if you have a mining farm.
Well, it's true and that worries the others but those dedicated miners will continue to help the network in return of the rewards even though the difficulty keeps increasing.

The mining farms that have invested a large capital won't let their farms to shut down because of that. They will keep themselves on the trend unless they can't keep and take the expenses anymore.
5269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ICO Listing on HOTBTC on: February 10, 2020, 11:09:26 PM
You have already created a thread that's certain for this listing service you have on that exchange. Stay on thread that and you can finally lock this topic.

No need to double it down to cater and offer more listings. They'll contact you if they find it helpful to their projects.
5270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving: What is it? on: February 10, 2020, 10:29:21 PM
That Crypto Crunch App page is bullish on bitcoin so very much it's a positive post and if you still don't what halving is, read and understand those given details, threads, and articles to you.

It's for the good of bitcoin and rewards of miners will be cut into half. This will make the demand even higher so if you're worrying about it, the past halving did result in good price of bitcoin. Wink
5271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Hardware wallet really secure enough? on: February 10, 2020, 09:47:23 PM
I've looked into some news if it was recent but sorry there's no such news as you have sourced out. Trezor wasn't hacked and it's one of the best hardware wallets out there. It has been trusted for a long time and I doubt it if ever someone hacks them, they'll quickly respond from that incident.

Where did you hear this news? You misunderstood it and I think before posting this kind of topic, search it first in google if there's something like this that happened recently but there's none.
5272  Economy / Speculation / Re: Monday is a good time to buy BTC? Is that proved one more time? on: February 10, 2020, 09:13:30 PM
I have seen bitcoin reached $10,100 but I didn't sell because I'm bullish and long term already. IIRC, someone posted this kind of observation that whenever we hit Monday, the market starts to be dumped and it's a sign of buying time.

Sometimes it's like that but let's see if the next Monday's will be the same with what we're thinking. But if it plummets by Monday or not, no need for the validation of this observation and think of yourself to buy before it recovers.
5273  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy only bitcoin or take chances in altcoin casino? on: February 09, 2020, 11:21:09 PM
Bitcoin is more of a safe haven so whether you will diversify with the altcoins, you can still recover if ever the coin you choose becomes part of your loss. I'm still in the recovery process with my alts and learned the lesson there but I think, I'll determine how long I'll be with alts.

Still, at the end of it, I'll remain bullish and long term for bitcoin but I'm ok to turn in for some alts just for playing(trading) it.
Its not bad to always have this kind of consideration if we do talk about alternatives. Diversifying is always been a good option yet this do lessen out the
risk on getting wrecked 100% yet we know we do still have the chance on recovery on other coins we've putted on.

The thing or concern here is that you should target those good or top rank ones rather than considering on putting a shot on low cap/priced coins
hoping for some whale pump. This isnt ideal and also riskier.

Overall, Bitcoin would be the heavily favorite when it comes to long term aspects.
It's good to diversify as long as your choices are considerable and you know how to adapt the moves of the market. But if you're just investing to any kind of altcoin and you have no idea how long you will hold them and then you're more focused on it, I think that's a bad idea.

Hold a certain amount of bitcoin and start your plan there, how long you will hold it and at what price you're willing to dispose it. While in altcoins, you should be aware that you the risk there is much higher than bitcoins.
5274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is EtherDelta Finally Gone? on: February 09, 2020, 03:16:31 PM
The site is accessible but if you will click on the "volume" tab it indicates zero ("0") for all of the tokens there.

Navigate it to the upper right side and see that there's no more volume to this dex. Better not to send any amount of tokens that you have there.

5275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would make you stop gambling? on: February 08, 2020, 12:48:13 PM
are there any things in life that would make you stop gambling?

the two things that come to my mind are:
- making enough or a lot of money.
- finding a passion (even relationshiprelated or life/activity related) that changes your priorities.

but can you see other things than that?
I think both are going to be my reasons to stop gambling. But isn't it good to gamble if you are making enough money? you can enjoy as much as you can because you will not have to worry about the money and you'll just have fun anytime you want.

But once you don't have time for it anymore, it will gradually stop you in gambling. Being a family man will make you put the things what's more important than gambling but if you're life was already on it, I don't think there's something that can stop you even those mentioned factors.

5277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin banking system on: February 08, 2020, 10:21:35 AM
Bitcoin won't kill the banking system, it has been there ever since so the trust of the people and its sympathy will be on the banks. It's regulated by the government so we can't think about its death for now.

There are just afraid of bitcoin because it will pull their customers out of their service. The money from their customers is where they're getting their capitals for loans so if most of their customers understands bitcoin correctly, they fear that time to happen.
5278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto 2020! Gains or Losses? on: February 08, 2020, 09:08:45 AM
2019 wasn't the same as 2018. It's more of a better year because we saw how bitcoin peaked again during that year. 2020 is expected to become better than last year because of the approaching halving which is very popular event.

What you are trying to offer here? Signals and trading service? I'd rather keep it to myself and become successful it instead of sharing it.

5279  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto Poker (BIP) on: February 08, 2020, 07:01:40 AM
I have a pretty decent internet connection but the website does load at a slow pace. I think this is an issue with your server and sad to say that it requires registration for someone who wants to check the whole platform.

Will you let the visitors to see the rooms even without registration? just like swcpoker.eu

Registration is conditional. Just a login and password, without any confirmation. And you can watch the game of other players at any tables (except private ones).
Okay but it's much easier for a guest to look into those public tables and check it out just for viewing purposes.

But if registration is that easy, then it's not a problem.
