Thank you- I see, I'm still in the early phase in search of which type of game I should develop and your youtube link helped me a lot.

You’re welcome. I’m glad you looked into it. YouTube is a great resource and there are all sorts of smart contract developers building things to help people make their own games with little coding knowledge. You could get lost in those videos for a month and end up building something pretty great if you are motivated enough. Be sure to post whatever it is you end up creating so we can have a look.

In a meeting with Nets owner Joe Tsai, Kevin Durant reiterated his trade request and informed Tsai that Tsai needs to choose between Durant or the pairing of general manager Sean Marks and coach Steve Nash.
So, how is KD going to get a coach fired who, he himself handpicked? haha. I guess he's done that before.

I don’t know why KD feels he can issue ultimatums like this. He’s under contract. What is he going to do, sit out all season and not get paid while losing another year of his career at the end of his prime? The Nets are under no obligation to do anything for him. After the annoyance Kyrie has been though, this strategy of being a squeaking wheel might work. Seems like KD and Kyrie want to blow up the organization and move on. They moved quick.
5283  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bullish VS Bearish on: August 08, 2022, 04:20:50 PM
I feel like in the short term the market may be getting a little too bullish.  Especially retail investors.  Institutions are getting in now because they see an opportunity to get mtgox coins on the cheap and they've already started buying to make sure they buy through the entire dip.  This to me means it's highly likely that once they've filled their bags a correction will ensue.  It may be short lived, a matter of weeks or a few months, but it would seem like a healthy development.  Still, it feels like the move is to hold until after this recession is in the rear view and be rewarded with the recovery, if you are able.

The first fatal crash occurred in the early hours of July 7 in Riverside, California, when a Tesla Model Y on State Route 91 hit a motorcycle from behind, killing its rider. The second fatal motorcycle crash occurred on July 24, again at night, this time on I-15 outside Draper, Utah. In that case, a Tesla Model 3 was driving behind a motorcycle and hit it, killing the rider.

I don't understand how they allow these systems to operate when they are literally less safe than a drunk driver and they would not be able to pass a driving test in the first place.

This doesn't seem like the right spot for this discussion, but it's been proven statistically time and time again that their self driving system is much safer than a normal unassisted human driver.  Sure, with autopilot technologies there are going to be crazy freak accidents and that is concerning, but overall the number of deaths and accidents are way down.  You can look up the data, it's quite a bit of a difference and why Tesla is going to be able to offer insurance for significantly cheaper than the competition.  Still, accidents like you describe are heartbreaking.
5285  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake and odd provider's limits !!!!!! on: August 08, 2022, 04:14:31 PM
Hello,

Since I started betting on Stake I have rarely been disappointed, they have very good promotions, good odds, etc...

But recently, I cannot place a single bet, my stake is almost always rejected (too high). The support told me that unfortunately they cannot do much about it as it is the odd provider that fix limits for an event and for each user. Even on big events just like premier league games I cannot bet with a stake more than 0.2 mBtc (when it is possible).

I had a similar situation with sportsbet.io (odds automatically lowered for my account, banned from some promotions) and they haven't gone backwards since  (more than 8 months).

Has anyone been in this situation and was able to recover afterwards normal betting configuration?

If my situation is never going to be reviewed, I might as well get my funds back right away.

I'm curious what exact betting behavior landed your account in this situation.  The only thing that I could think of off the top of my head is that you must have been using some sort of martingale betting style to where at some point they felt the need to put a cap on how far you can take that strategy.  Is it possible this or something like it is the reasoning behind your new limits?  If it were me, I'd take the hint and make sure my funds were protected, but reaching out to them and seeing what they're willing to do for you or what explanation they have seems like it would also be a good idea.
5286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul v Hasim Rahman Jr / Amanda Serrano V Brenda Carabaja co-main event Aug on: August 08, 2022, 04:11:05 PM
Looks like the Jake Paul vs KSI fight is official now.  They're not doing it until next year for some reason, which seems like a lot of downtime for Jake who was ready to fight now...  I think this is one of the lamest fights that Jake could make, but I guess he's running out of options.  Personally, I would have much rather seen him fight McGregor or Andrew Tate, but I guess those guys don't feel like Jake is near their level yet.  I will be happy when this youtube boxing stuff is over with and must admit I'm surprised Jake has been able to carry this on for so long.

It's far from official. They've just verbally agreed to the fight on Twitter. It might make it more interesting if it's a winner takes all fight as KSI requested: https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/boxing/breaking-jake-paul-accepts-ksis-27685364

Quote
Jake Paul has accepted KSI's offer of a winner-takes-all fight at Wembley next year.

The YouTube rivals have a long-running rivalry which dates back to KSI's two fights with Paul's elder brother Logan. The pair have traded insults for three years without agreeing to fight but now appear close to an agreement.

KSI had tweeted earlier on Monday: "I'm going to send you a contract. We fight next year. Wembley Stadium. Winner of the fight takes all. 100 per cent of the purse will be on the line. Put your money where your mouth is and let’s finally end this. Will you accept Jake Paul?"

Paul later replied: "Good morning guy 'fighting' rapper with t-shirt on. Your hometown and winner takes all. 1000 per cent I accept, but one condition… you have to reply and admit that as of TODAY when it comes to boxing, I am better." KSI replied: As of today in boxing you're better. Let's run it b****."

I'm not sure if KSI will keep his end of the bargain though. Jake has a lot of options either way: Tommy Fury, KSI, Cobra Tate and probably Nate Diaz. I'd like to see him fight any and all to be honest. I still think KSI would be an easy fight for Jake unless KSI has improved massively rom his last fight.

It seems Jake is starting his own Sports media company / Betting site as well called Betr: https://twitter.com/jakepaul/status/1556641526612205571

https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/business/business-news/jake-paul-joey-levy-media-gambling-betr-1235189371/

Quote
Social media personality and Disney Channel star turned professional boxer Jake Paul is getting back into the media business, and he’s doing it with a sports betting twist.

Paul and business partner Joey Levy have raised $50 million to launch a new media and micro-betting company called Betr, with plans to develop sports media properties and eventually build out a sports betting business built around the so-called micro-bets (instead of betting on the outcome of a game, think betting on the outcome of the next pitch, or the next play).

He also says he turned down 40 million to promote a Crypto casino. I wonder if that was Stake?

They both agree to it.  Seems pretty official to me.  It's literally straight from the horses mouth.  Given that the last two of Jake's "official" fights were cancelled, I think this is as official as it gets until they step into the ring.

I find it a little hard to believe he'd turn down $40 million dollars to promote anything, but if he did, good for him.  It sounds like he's got bigger plans of making a whole lot more than that, which I wish him luck.  If he turned down $40 million from Stake though, he's just plain dumb unless it came with some sort of no-compete clause.
5287  Economy / Goods / Re: ~ Buying a TESLA CYBERTRUCK with BITCOIN ~ on: August 08, 2022, 04:05:06 PM
Never make it to production? They just built an entire factory for it… I get that hating on other people’s products is a bit of a theme around here, but Tesla care what haters on this forum think. The Cybertruck is going to be made, it’s going to be badass, I’m going to own one (if I can stay alive long enough) and what I’m most looking forward to is all the hate from people who don’t understand what an amazing innovation the exoskeleton is. I just hope they produce mine before these things start turning smart cars into pancakes and Tesla is forced to stop producing them.

Tesla does or doesn't care? I don't believe they built a factory solely for Cybertucks but even if they did I'm sure they will just produce other models there if it doesn't go into full production. I'm not a 'tesla hater' either. More of a Cybertruck realist, but it sounds like you might be one of the Tesla fanboys suchmoon mentioned above. How do you know it's going to be badass? I really hope it is, believe me. I've said in this very thread I don't think there's a vehicle I'd like to own more right now and would buy one today if it was around 50k and looked like the prototypes, but is it going to be? I really hope the thing is a success as I don't think I've seen more of a futuristic and individualistic vehicle but I think there's dozens of things that could go wrong with this or stop it from being a huge success. They really need to keep the costs down but I struggle to see how they can make a profitable car at a reasonable price. In its current form it almost certainly won't be road legal in Europe and many other countries without some significant design changes and I can't see what changes could be made to make it safe without completely changing the design/look. I'm really hoping Elon can get all the issues worked out and would happily love my cynicism of the project to be proved wrong but I am very sceptical. There just seems to be far too many issues and things holding it back without the original design being greatly compromised or going way over the stated retail price.

I have no problem being a Tesla fanboy.  They make awesome products.  I've found that typically it's the people who have never owned a Tesla product, like suchmoon, that just hate on things because they are miserable people.  It's no wonder these types of people go around spreading negative feedback everywhere.  The misery they seek is within and not coming from Tesla, but they would rather hate on those that are doing things than acknowledge that they are themselves of little to no value.  The Cybertruck is a massive step forward in vehicle production and so of course smart people know it will be badass.  It doesn't take a genius, just someone who understands production and what innovations are being implemented on this vehicle.  As for the retail price issue...  "If you have to ask how much it costs you probably can't afford it," is a quote that comes to mind.
5288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul v Hasim Rahman Jr / Amanda Serrano V Brenda Carabaja co-main event Aug on: August 08, 2022, 03:57:51 PM
Jake Paul is calling out Andrew Tate now after his last two opponents haven’t been able to find their way into the ring. I think Andrew Tate is one of the few people that is hated more than Jake Paul is. I’d love to see this fight and I’m not sure how well Andrew Tate can box, but given his ego I think there’s a decent shot of a fight like this happening and drawing an audience. The only thing is that I’m not sure Andrew Tate needs the money.

Hehehe if Jake Paul gives a good offer for Andrew Tate and Andrew accepts, this will be one of the highest payperviews in the history of the sport of boxing. Andew Tate has become quite the internet personality that is being idolized by young people for his life counseling in social media.

He floated the Andrew Tate fight, but I don't think Tate would accept to be honest.  He seems to have turned his focus to KSI now.  He's been posting all day long on Twitter and making videos about how KSI is ducking him.  Jake Paul agreed to fight in London at 180lbs and even said that he would fight FOR FREE.  I think there's a chance it will actually happen because of that.  It seems like for KSI, this is the no-brainer fight to take.  Although if Jake Paul destroys him, it would probably show that him and Logan Paul aren't the amazing fighters they were built up as.

I didn't know there was once a KSI vs Logan fight so this is thier rival. Well, a youtube celebrity vs youtube celebrity makes a full time hype. KSI said he will knock out Jake, I guess this fight is on.

But now that Jake has accumulated fight experience, I think he already needs the proper training and boxing career not just for the sake of headlines over headlines.

I read an article recently about the GSW management interview regarding Draymond Green possible trade since GSW has a lot to handle in there plate while Green is demanding a max contractthat will last up to 10yrs. The management is considering Green age will not give them the best benefit later on if they allow his request. They are looking for potential trade with Aaron Gordon since Gordon is still young and has a lotof room for improvement. Is this unfair to Green once this trade proceed?

If the Warriors could get Aaron Gordon for Draymond Green I think that would be a massive upgrade that they should do no matter what.  Stephen Curry has come out and said that he wants Draymond back in a Warriors uniform and I don't see the management not letting Draymond run this last championship back.  The idea of Steph and Klay having Wiggins and Gordon with them along with Wiseman would certainly extend their ability to be a contender.  They'd have 2 of the most athletic guys in the league on their team alongside 2 of the best shooters.  Would be a matchup nightmare.

Arizona man drowns in lake as officers watch: ‘I’m not jumping in after you’

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2022/jun/06/arizona-man-drowns-officers-watch

I just happened to see this post and this event occurred near me.  The police officers were even told they did the right thing by not saving the man.  The water there is fairly calm and there are things like paddleboats around, so it's hard to imagine that this could happen.  It shows you just how quickly someone can drown, even in calm waters.  I feel like the police officers definitely could have saved him, but they would have been risking their lives and I'm not sure if they believed the man was actually drowning.  A shame...  I think they could have done more...
5292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 08, 2022, 03:47:04 AM
The KD swap is in a stalemate. I don't think we should be too optimistic about Durant being traded any time soon. The Nets want to include a third or fourth team in the trade to facilitate the deal but are trying to slow things down by making tough demands on the star player. I think the point here is to intimidate Durant into withdrawing the trade. However, by doing so it will be impossible to expect a yield from Durant in the season.
I'm thinking about this for quite some time already and TBH, there is a chance that we will see Durant, Irving and Simmons who is coming back to play in one team and that is the Nets and if that happens, maybe they might enter the playoffs again. I mean the 2 all-star is intact and they added Simmons which is a former all-star who is afraid of shooting Cheesy.

Durant only requested a trade because Irving wanted to be out of Brooklyn so if Irving will stay in Brooklyn, Durant will withdraw the trade thus, they will stay in one team.

I think that would be a good team.  Ben Simmons was a monster on defense and gives all sorts of matchup issues bringing the ball up.  The only problem is that he doesn't create any space on the floor but KD doesn't really need anyone to create anything for him.  Same with Kyrie.  I wouldn't mind watching them play with that team, especially if they can pickup Dwight Howard.  I think everyone just doesn't want to play with Ben Simmons because they think he isn't a good teammate.
5293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto in Church. on: August 07, 2022, 09:20:19 PM
I couldn’t imagine my church having any sort of connection to Bitcoin. That’s a very odd pairing to me. I could maybe see them accepting Bitcoin donations but discussing it in church seems a bit much. If people are interested though and the knowledge is there, seems like sharing it is a good idea. I’d just hate to see this take people down a path where churches are pumping altcoins to try and bring in additional funds.
5294  Economy / Speculation / Re: A next generation "algo stable coin" is about to wipe out all stablecoins period on: August 07, 2022, 09:16:35 PM
This definitely seems like an odd take on the remains of the Luna collapse. I think it’s been proven that algorithmic stablecoins are easily manipulated by market participants. A lot of people lost a lot of money thinking that this idea was possible. I’m sure others will try and meet the same fate. If you want to hold dollars, hold dollars. Buying stablecoins to throw into a DeFi casino or CeFi lending scheme has historically been a bad idea. Especially if you’re at the wrong end of the risk curve.

This was great main event and very good KO win for Jamahal Hill and he is for sure going up in rankings after this win against Thiago Santos, next fight for him should be with someone from top 5 in light heavyweight category.
He asked for Jiri Prochazka in press conference after the fight, but he would accept fight with Jan Blachowicz.
I am not sure if Mohammed Usman has any connection with Champion Kamaru Usman but he won performance of the night in this event with Geoff Neal.

That was a nice left hook KO. From the looks of the punch it seemed like he didn’t even have much power behind it but it laid Neal out cold. I guess that shows you just how much power is behind every punch they throw. Deserving of the performance of the night and the only thing that really stood out to me as being newsworthy outside of the strange “did she tap” moment early on in the night.

I was a bit disappointed to hear that Stevewilldoit's YouTube channel was permanently banned.  I loved watching his content and seeing him wearing Stake merchandise and giving shoutouts to Stake.  The Nelk Podcast still seems to be repping it though.  Pretty amazing to see them interviewing Elon Musk for 3 hours.  I wonder if we'll see Stevewilldoit repping for Stake elsewhere now or what will happen there.  Seems a shame that YouTube was able to put an end to that ride.  Was fun to watch.

It seems that you are a loyal viewer of Steve because this isn't your first time posting about Steve and Stake
I was just looking for information about this and already found it as far as I know Steve can still appeal it means it's not final right?
Despite this problem it shouldn't be difficult for Steve to find a new place he has a lot of fans for example on Twitch
He could stream on Twitch, Discord, Dlive, or maybe something like tiktok. There are always options if someone needed to find one.

Yeah, I am sure he will probably still stream on twitch. YouTube is the big one though, at least I think. Steve definitely considered himself a YouTuber, so I assume that platform brings in far more revenue for advertisers than other platforms. Maybe I don’t know what im talking about and he’ll be as popular as ever on TikTok, but that’s a shame for me because I’ll never see it.

Suddenly there are calls for Bitcoin to rocket upwards. Perhaps the Blackrock news set it in motion, but there seems to be a new bullish aroma in the air. Plan B is even telling people to go long with massive leverage, which seems crazy after what we just went through. Seems odd, but maybe he is calling the bottom for people here. I’ll stay away from leverage personally, but do hope the next up cycle is upon us.

I’m a sucker for people who give away stuff to those in need. Even if they make a fortune doing it. Stevewilldoit was like the cooler drunk version of MrBeast. I really enjoyed his content. I do hope he can appeal and I’m not even sure why he was banned, but he’ll probably start making videos for the full send website. It’s gotta be a negative for stake that the channel was banned. With some luck he’ll find his way back.
