5281  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Telegram Bitcoin Escrow Bot on: December 17, 2019, 07:57:19 PM
The problem i wanted to solve with the escrow bot is to automate the communication and process of establishing an escrow, rather than the trust factor itself since like many of you guys mentioned, that can only come with reputation and time.

I think reputable escrows here will not be interested in that kind of idea. And I believed, it's not an easy thing to do.

Maybe if the demand for using escrow here will noticeably growing, there might be a consideration. For now, a manual escrow is way safer. And besides, not all the time people are dealing with crypto payment transactions through direct trades. Since we are talking about a certain product (you are buying products as you have mentioned,), try to find reputable companies, stores or merchants instead that accept crypto-payment so you don't need to find an escrow service for that purpose.

P.S. Since this was on Project Development, do you just share your concern or you are considering building a specific bot program or service for this?
5282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: December 17, 2019, 07:32:29 PM

With the Dallas Mavericks winning over the dominant Milwaukee Bucks, their NBA Future Odds now changed to @27 from I think around @47 the last time I saw it less than a week ago. What a big leap or maybe I missed the other numbers from between @27 to @47.

Maybe you got a point there, Vegas is the gambling capital of the world and they might have the power to manipulate everything that includes gambling.the odds are heavily favored the Bucks and putting a bet to the Dallas team means winning a lot more. There might be something or someone behind this game. Only that's just a hypothesis I was saying though.

If you really watched the game, you won't be able to insert that hypothesis why the Mavs won.

That spread was definitely meant to trap the gamblers. It's nothing to do with the Mavs winning that game. And take note that odds providers will not just provide a line without analyzations. Others already considered that Luka's absence is an easy win to Bucks but try to look at the Mavericks' other player stats. There is enough firepower even Luka was out. And I think Mavericks' recent performance without Luka against the Miami Heat plays a big role for that provided spread.

I will give an example: (prior to Bucks game)

-against Heat: (without Luka)
Porzingis@22
Hardaway Jr@28
Brunson@18
Kleber@17
Barea @12

-against Pistons (with Luka)
Porzingis@20
Curry@30

-against Kings (with Luka)
2 players @ 26 points
Hardaway Jr@27

... and many more. This just shows that even Luka is putting high numbers, his teammates are also stepping up making good numbers too.
5283  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto vs stock markets on: December 17, 2019, 06:47:23 PM
The Question:
Wich way is more profit?
Crypto or stock market?

What are other ways to get good profits besides crypto?

The question seems to be out of the context. People have different preferences.

Instead of asking which is the most profitable, I suggest fully studying what are they e.g characteristics, specifications, functions, nature, market, risk-involved, etc.

If you are serious about that study, you will soon answer that question. Yes, only you can determine which one suits you.
5284  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Prediction 2019, 2020, 2025, 2030, 2040 on: December 17, 2019, 04:45:08 PM

"what if"
"I think"
"I believed"
"it might reach"

Some of the terms you will encounter when you asked someone about what's their view about bitcoin futures. Generally, those views won't help you or anyone in terms of using it as a reference in your future strategy.

There are lots of articles already about prediction and speculations on which some of them are properly analyzed and well-explained so no need to ask for everyone's views since I believed you will not even read it here. The article you have shared is enough to somehow picture out what's the most predicted scenario about bitcoin's future.

5286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com now has a sportsbook after deal signing with BetRadar on: December 13, 2019, 10:28:07 AM
That is a good addition to Stake but the problem is there are not many leagues where to bet on yet.I hope they add more and more leagues and of course a lot of betting lines if Stake wants to seriously compete with the competition otherwise this is a dull move.

Not sure what kind of other leagues you are looking but as I checked the site, I saw they already covered lots of events and sports. Not a problem though even it's few if your preferred sports or league is there.

Anyways, about the betting lines, I checked some games in the NBA section and I see the numbers of lines are fair at some of the games.

Also, it has a nice and user-friendly interface. Knowing stake.com's reputation, I don't see that this site will struggle to find a few players*.
5287  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to $5k? Tone Vays on: December 13, 2019, 09:36:13 AM
Hey, guys! Check this video where Tone Vays shares his opinion on future of Bitcoin's price. He considers that BTC will fall to $5k and will start growing just after that.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qABFMlxnmFA

I don't understand what's the big deal on this. He was just asked for his own views and nothing more because that was an interview. He "guessed" and not actually gave a prediction meaning his statement was based on how he looks at the status this year.

And aside from that, it's up to anyone if they will buy it or not.

The whole video was not totally about that "prediction". So sort of a clickbait.

Move this thread into Speculation if you still want to talk about predictions regarding this.

5289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: December 13, 2019, 08:32:04 AM
Maybe they are just lucky,  Grin

Hah, they just got lucky today and won against a competitive team.

.. it's just that they are also lucky to get the win from the Spurs.

Cleveland Cavaliers winning that game against the San Antonio Spurs is just a lucky win? LOL.

Did you guys just look at the scores? Spurs almost win that game but they made an error during the last seconds that results for Kevin Love finding an open spot and pushes the game for overtime. And in post-regulation, Cavaliers now owned the Spurs and sealed a win.

That's not luck. It's pure performance and team effort.

Anyways before anyone got overreact, my statement is limited only for the Spurs and Cavs game. Don't take that win, in general, like, "yeah they are just lucky but they will not enter the playoffs, yeah they are just lucky but they must show that in every game, yeah they are lucky but still not enough to be a contender" , etc. It doesn't make sense to involved that in the discussion on that win. 5291  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A question to newbies: where do you BUY?EXCHANGE cryptos? on: December 13, 2019, 07:10:40 AM
I'm researching the crypto market to better understand its audience. Would be happy to hear your answers  Smiley

Can you tell us specifically the purpose of setting up these polls? We might sort out things rather than asking random thoughts from the community since not all users obviously will participate in the poll.

I mean, people have different preferences and reasons why they are using a specific exchange. For example, Person A wants to trade on Binance but having difficulty to deposit there, therefore, they will use other gateways then will transfer to Binance later on. Another one, Person A wants to buy bitcoin with fiat so dealing with Localbitcoin might be the best method or using a local exchange and so on.....

Volume-wise, Binance is on the top. However,  they are a trading platform and not the usual exchange where buy and sell bitcoin is the main service.
5292  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which Exchange Is The Best For Buying Bitcoin? on: December 13, 2019, 01:49:17 AM

Calm guys.

OP just made a comparison based on his own research and preferences. I don't see any biased nor telling people what exchange should be used. In the past, I read some of their articles and I admit some of them are interesting. Way better than those newcomers who will just create a thread then post their article link and done. Getting traffic is not a problem as long as the content does make sense.

In this article, OP made a comparison on some of the specific and basic things that users are looking for e.g fees, liquidity, interface, user-experience, security. I found this as a good reference and not trash.

Although OP made a verdict at the end, it doesn't mean anyone should follow it. It was clearly stated at the end of the article that both exchanges are exceptional in their own way and each person has it's own preferences.

Looks like withdrawing directly from the BTC wallet on GCASH isn't fully smooth by now.

Did anyone test it?

Na-expire lang iyong withdrawal ko from BTC wallet doon sa GCASH. Di nagtuloy sa Payment so di rin ako nabawasan. Di na ako nag-attempt ulit for the 2nd time baka kasi mangyari ulit at madoble iyong conversion. After less than a hour, buti na-expire and assuming baka error si GCASH nagtry ako to withdraw the usual way, from PHP wallet and saglit lang ok na.

(Magkahiwalay yang image. Pinag-isa ko lang)
5294  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best wallet on: December 12, 2019, 11:48:12 PM
Hello to everyone. I created account here to ask about the best wallet for LTC and Stellar. Also if you can recommend some physical wallet too.
Thanks
Edit currently I store funds at coinomi

Check their recommended wallets on their site

For LTC: https://litecoin.com/en/individuals
For Stellar: https://www.stellar.org/lumens/wallets

Being the best obviously, is you owned your private key for your coins (hardware, desktop, etc.). It also depends on your preferences.

Edit currently I store funds at coinomi

Coinomi should be fine*.
5295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: December 12, 2019, 11:26:18 PM
He might mean claiming the first seed on each conference which is really a big possibility especially when you think about how both of them are far apart the 2nd best team on each conference respectively.

First seed or top seed, once playoffs came, they will all start at 0-0.

Bucks will surely top the Eastern Conference this season but the competition there is tough. I didn't even consider Bucks as a dominant team in the East. I like the status of the Eastern Conference today unlike in the previous season where you can only sees top 1 to 3 as a contender.

The upcoming match between the Lakers and Bucks is really worth to watch. Everyone is excited. Everyone was hyped. However, whoever wins here, it doesn't mean they are the best team in the league.

The best team in the league is Dallas Mavericks (don't take this seriously, I'm biased lol).

You can get 73-9 in regular season and can still fail to get the ring.

LOL

Check mo dito price: https://store.paymaya.com/

And wala yan sa 7/11.

5297  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make big profits from exchanging bitcoin to altcoins on: December 12, 2019, 10:19:57 PM

I like your effort in making a long constructive statement and introduction about your purpose.

However, I don't like the idea of spreading positive results about involving in a pump and dump groups or so-called signal groups for an obvious reason.

To OP, if you feel you are getting profits out from that group, then up to you to continue. But to the point that you will advertise it even you just want to share the experience, it's a big NO for me. There are lots of flaws in that kind of activity.
5298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Speculation will drive the btc ride further as always on: December 12, 2019, 08:41:58 PM
Some says there is no use of btc and hence no demand of btc. So no one is buying.

You have to take note that massive buying can't be done by overnight even BTC is widely used or let's say heavily demanded.

Another type of people who wants to see btc sub 7k, so they can buy and make quick profit.

Quick profit?

In the end, speculation and sentiment will drive the btc ride. On May 2020, btc may exceed 40k.or go sub 6k. Lets wait and ride the btc coaster.

Speculation alone is not enough or should I say can't be the sole reason why BTC should reach $20,000, $40,000, $60,000. Also not a reason for BTC to go sub $6,000. There are already lots of positive predictions and speculations with a good analysis crashed along the way. Meaning, there are lots of factors to consider for this big pump or dump to happen.

Remember the last ATH? People are too optimistic back then that there is no chance we can see BTC again at sub $10,000 and the uptrend will just continue. That was big positive speculation that the majority takes, to the point that some sold their assets just to be involved in crypto. And what happens next?

Bitcoin will surely establish again it's another ATH. But for when, no one knows.
5299  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: December 12, 2019, 12:03:20 AM
GCASH cashout is now working! Try na mga bro.
YUN!

Yes, organized and much better that way.

And another change is, for Gcash and Paymaya, no need to convert from BTC to PHP sa cashout unlike before. But for banks, still, we need to convert first from PHP.

Not hassle na sa mga makakalimot mag-convert tapos na-fill up na iyong details lol.
5300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: December 11, 2019, 11:40:15 PM
Is there or will have any chance that the Bucks will break the Warriors' record?

Me, Maybe if Giannis has a teammate like what Curry has when they made that record.

Yes, it has a chance but I disagree with that "if only Giannis has a teammate like Curry". As long as the whole Bucks maintain their good performance in the majority of their remaining games, no need for that Curry-like teammates. Why it's necessary?

... while the buck only has Giannis which even if he is a star, he might also experience some off night.

Again, disagree. Bucks is not just about Giannis. He has a solid role player teammates. No way Giannis can carry alone the whole Bucks.

Look at the stats, check his teammate's stats and especially, check the bench stats, this is one of the reasons why they are dominant. You will see that Bucks isn't just Giannis. Removed LBJ on the Lakers and Giannis at the Bucks. I see it's still a match even AD was there. Just a matter of who will stand strong if they will face on a series game.

Tonight, Giannis is out. We can see how Bucks will perform without him. But even they will lose here, it doesn't mean they are nothing without Giannis. Their real strength without Giannis might be seen within several games and not on a single game.
