5301  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BLOCKCHAIN PROJECT STUDY on: March 04, 2019, 10:05:09 AM
That's good mate if you like to have a project that studies related to blockchain technology course.

I may suggest how to create Dapp for Beginners, see this reference link: https://dappsforbeginners.wordpress.com/
That a guide to make easier your project on how to create a smart contract and decentralized applications.

Or why not you focus on the Bitcoin-related course how it works by Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System, review the Bitcoin white paper to gather some information,

5302  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Hanggang saan aabot ang 0.0106 BTC Mo? Automatic Trading Challenge on: March 04, 2019, 08:37:43 AM
It is a very interesting mate, actually, I'm gathering ideas now and techniques on how to works trading well.
I've used a basic trading strategy which is buying low and sell high but using bot ain't know on how it works, as of now I keep my eyes open on your thread para malaman ko din ibang method sa pagtetrade.

So, wala kana bang ibang gawin kapag nasetup mo na yung bot? I mean you let gunbot works for you?
5303  Economy / Reputation / Re: Community opinion on Signature campaign spreadsheets on: March 04, 2019, 06:57:31 AM
I voted "yes" option.
For me, it really helps if spreadsheet must on the public because of not all manager's know who's participants abusing or not on the project that they manage. With the help of the "forum police" through investigating spreadsheet they can to identify those abusers participants using through their alts which is against the rule here in the forum. Since we are trustworthy here I think a hidden spreadsheet is just like untrustworthy IMO. Wink

I saw Bounty Campaign manager that manage the projects here who's not showing the spreadsheet as a public, in that case, we didn't see who's abusing the project, the manager or the participants either.
5304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the Bitcoin casinos are based on blockchain? on: March 04, 2019, 05:52:32 AM
Pretty nice answer mate OP want to make sure the fairness of crypto casino gambling, and that's is true some site are scams so can't blame op to avoid a doubt from the crypto site, but there's a lot of fair and honest crypto casino site.
That is a good point but for me, I think Bitcoin casinos are not yet based on blockchain technology. Bitcoin casinos are there to appear as an online casino where you will be able to bet your bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies online. It's just that compared to fiat casinos, Online Casino has a fair algorithm that will determine if you will win or no. Most of the online casinos and bitcoin casinos use an algorithm where that will let them gain profits to continue operating.

As far as I know, the scaling ration of win rates in every casino is 1 win = 5 loses so they can have a profit and sustain the business. Blockchain technology is not yet applied to Bitcoin Casinos but the pros are that you can use your cryptocurrency to bet with anonymity.
5305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to pay newbie with bitcoin? on: March 03, 2019, 07:10:19 PM
This is very simple just google it and find which crypto wallet in your local country that supported Bitcoin and you may convert to fiat.
However, it is impossible now to bypass KYC, most likely local exchanger wallet has a KYC verification.

Mate, you can find it on google for the best answer for you.
5306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH on: March 03, 2019, 05:05:05 PM
That's what we called marketing strategy, of course, Vitalik Buterin says that for the sake of Ethereum to have mass adoption than Bitcoin. Because he is the co-founder of Ethereum, all his stated are all his opinion. We have our right how to analyze what he is saying(it is totally bullshit). Probably Ethereum has a potential of what had made on upgrading the system, but I personally give my full support on Bitcoin that I guess Ethereum can't surpass to Bitcoin even if have limited functionality but it is existed until now.
5307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fiat or crypto betting in bear market? on: March 03, 2019, 03:31:34 PM
I'll go also with those gamblers that chose fiat betting. I'm also very optimistic about bitcoin rising up very soon so I don't want to miss that moment that the current coin that I hold will increase.
I can survive to wait for that time until it comes rather than will go gamble with my precious coin and regret later after witnessing the price pump. I can endure the temptation to go gamble all in with crypto, I'll still gamble with crypto but it's minimal.

It looks like people now are really saving their crypto asset and wait for the bullish trend and didn't expend it due to the market crash. Just like me, previously I used my bitcoin to in betting and other gambling site but now I've realized that it is regrettable if you witness the market goes up but you don't have any fraction of bitcoin because all of them you have lost. I much prefer to used fiat in gambling as of now.
5308  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NO coins.ph na sa CEBUANA!!! XRP may pasabog! on: March 03, 2019, 01:59:17 PM
Yes, maybe you can still cash out using Cebuana until this day, as what I have read in the email that I received from Coins.ph announcement here, they say that no longer be available effective/starting on March 4, 2019. So, malamang bukas pa yun maging effective.

Sana papasok na rin ang Palawan sa Coin.ph.
Matagal ng pasok ang Palawan Pawnshop mate. Pero may katagalan din sa pag cash out.
5309  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: March 03, 2019, 01:00:34 PM

Just to avoid the possible problem or if having maintenance without knowing you.
As of now, Smart Money Card is under maintenance.

Malaki talagang kawalan ang pag alis ng Cebuana Llhullier as of now observe na muna ako sa mga possible happen when it comes cashing out.

5311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you bet? on: March 02, 2019, 06:58:57 PM
Well, if you play high risk game and if the luck favors you the reward can be very good also, so it does not mean that if you bet big, you will lose only. Anything can happen in gambling and betting.  Also if you take low risk, the reward will be low too. So, basically gambling is a risk taker game.
I content a bit of pure luck though.

You are just so lucky if you applied this.
~Bet the asset you can afford to lose - so even if you lose, you know you only bet the money you can't be hurt to lose.

~Bet in sports games - sport game betting is better than any other betting platform. Sports betting is a gambling platform where you will be able to analyze who would win the game by knowing its criteria.

~Staying profitable - You have to get 10% of your prize so that you can save your profits.
5312  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Whales have accumulated thousands of coins in last 2 months on: March 02, 2019, 05:08:28 PM
The 151,405 BTC could well be Bitcoin on an exchange cold storage.

If you call those holding as much as 1000 BTC small holders, what then do you call those who hold less than a Bitcoin? Dust holders

The people are living with the hope of being a millionaire in future so trusting the new technology and holding it as much as they can. Grin
I think there is a big chance that the bull run is coming. If whales could afford to invest such a large amount of cash to their cryptocurrency wallet, then for sure they can afford data and technical analyst to analyze when will be the next bull run come. Some whales also try to manipulate the price of the bitcoin that is why they are trying to hold a lot of assets together. But I think it will work soon. Let us see and wait for it.
5313  Economy / Economics / Re: Iranian gold-backed state cryptocurrency turning out to be fake on: March 02, 2019, 04:04:42 PM
Paymon was reported to be a gold-backed cryptocurrency supported by an over-the-counter cryptocurrency exchange called Iran Fara Bourse, with an expected release of one billion coins that will be used to tokenize properties and assets.
What do we expect? Paymon could have a decent and convincing whitepaper and considered as gold backed states cryptocurrency platform but everyone in Iran could do it as a scam. Backing coin with gold is just beta testing and would require great speculation to work but
it is not yet convincing.

I still remember the article that I read about the CEO of a big corporation. He tried to run away with the investments he earned from his investors in an IPO, then tried to return it as cryptocurrency with his ICO.

Do you know what happened? The government wanted to get his company down so they refused every option he did for his company even his ICO was rejected and stopped.

surprise surprise another bullshit article from an even more bullshit website posted here purely for traffic!
Lol, Cheesy Thumps up mate. Wink
5314  Economy / Economics / Re: Are off shore bank accounts worth it? (US citizens) on: March 02, 2019, 03:14:26 PM
Ever since offshore banking was taken advantage by the oligarch for some reasons. Interests rates, privacy, and liquidation were the reasons why they banked their cash offshore. Some people also take advantage of offshore if they have a categorized ^dirty money in the USA and will be cleaned offshore.

Swiss was the most trusted country in the world when it comes to banking. There were a lot of gossips that Swiss were accepting cash and hides it because the people who do it are somewhat illegal or needs to hide their fiats for some serious purposes.
5315  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese rating cryptocurrency on: March 02, 2019, 02:18:42 PM
We all know that China is one of the strongest country and highest economic status globally. Compilation of cryptocurrency means the overall data of the ratings of cryptocurrencies. You can see there what are the total assets, profits, revenues of the subject. If it is China, it means that the data of their ratings on the total as a country is there. It will become very helpful if you will check it before investing in them so you can analyze how much and how far they are in the cryptocurrency industry to invest.
5316  Economy / Economics / Re: Does cryptocurrency have more black swan events than other assets? on: March 02, 2019, 01:44:55 PM
Ain't know why did the author compare the cryptocurrencies such as BTC, XMR, and XRP to a Stock Market. It is considered as irrelevant in my opinion and they both have big differences. But yes, Volatility does not measure the true risk. I also don't understand why did the author had a conclusion that cryptocurrency has higher volatility and higher tail risks compared to stock, bond and physical assets.

Cryptocurrencies could not be considered as a risky asset, it needs a great education in blockchain and that would be enough to sustain.
5317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could be used to pay for Bills, load and for travel in the Philippines on: March 02, 2019, 10:18:00 AM
Here in the Philippines we could use our local wallet called coins.ph to buy load pay for our electric, water and credit card bills and even book for travel.

The Philippines is one country that provides such good support for the development of cryptocurrencies. This is very good because everything in the Philippines can develop well, not all countries have the same opportunity. The Philippines must continue to strive to improve the development of cryptocurrencies in their country to be even better.
You are absolutely right, right here in the Philippines, we used that local wallet for receiving Bitcoin and cashout into fiat and more paying bills as what have been OP said. However, speaking of holding Bitcoin I personally didn't use that because we're not the one who holds our private key. So, it means the Bitcoin and other altcoins you may store is not belongs to you.

Luckily our government here are friendly in crypto just like Bitcoin they did not implement any law regarding this besides Central Banks here recognized Bitcoin as a digital currency that can alternate to payment method.
5318  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: March 02, 2019, 09:13:04 AM

Yes, you are right mate, Coins.ph was emailed me a few minutes ago, they informed that Cebuana Lhuillier will no longer available.
This is it na talaga official announcement ng Coins.ph

I never tried to use LBC remittance but I think we don't have an option here. So scared to try Egive cash option too. Sad
5319  Economy / Economics / Re: ‘Crypto not meant for humans’ says Anthony Pompliano on: March 02, 2019, 08:11:25 AM
Ain't know what is the purpose of that man, or he just trying to get attention to others and make his self get well known to others it just because of the no sense tweet on twitter. Ain't sure if cryptocurrency was not meant for humans but crypto/blockchain technology was worked through humans by making a ton of transactions every minute. For how many years bitcoin existence I think more and more people getting knowledge on how blockchain technology works.
